ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

April is almost over with and May is on it’s way. Our
dear old weather though has been a little up and down.
Thursday night it snowed a little LOL and when I put
Benny out to go potty, he looked outside and back at
me as if to say, what the???? Hehehehe being there
was ice on the steps, he slipped a little going down them,
but he made it OK. Of course the snow did not stick,
being the ground was too warm, but our front steps
were a different issue hehehe. Most that was there
was just ice being it went from snowing to sleeting
and then to rain. Today looks like it’s going to be a
pretty nice one. Right now at 12 O’clock noon it’s
41F degrees. It’s supposed to get up to 53F degrees
or thereabouts today. The wind is blowing like the
dickens. Benny is outside right now doing his thing.
Well there hasn’t been much change in our world
up here. Maine is still Maine and the Pearce’s place
is still ummmmm goofy at times LOL. Since Benny
has moved into our lives, Judy and I have changed
a lot of what we do to involve him. He loves for me
to get down in the floor and play with him, or to
play tug of war with him or play one sided catch
with him. Yet he loves to snuggle close to Judy
and I. I’ll hold him in my lap and rock my chair
and he’ll nod off to sleep just like a little baby 🙂
Judy and I both totally love Benny. He has made
our lives complete. He was definitely a God send.
OK onto another topic. My mom’s PC is in the
shop. She was complaining that she was running
out of space on it, so I called my friends Ron and
Mandy at Century Computer in Greenville and
told them what my mom needed. Mom brought
it into them Wednesday and when she walked in
Mandy said Mrs. Pearce is here. Bill called and
told us what all you needed and we have your
new hard drive waiting for you in back. Just set
your PC down. it will be ready in 3 days. Mom
told me she loves having a computer tech for a
son LOL. All she ever has to do is send me an
email or call me about her problems and I can
walk her through it to fix it or tell her what she
is needing and set her up hehehe. I sure miss
being able to see her and my friends, but I am
doing well up here. I have a loving family up
here. Often Judy’s twin sister Trudy and her
hubby Dennis will come over with their little
Parti Yorky named Fenway and Benny and
him will run and play till they are both worn
out hehehe. Judy just let Benny in and he came
up to me wanting me to hold him as he drowned
me in kisses LOL. Yeppers, we love that boy
and me thinks he loves us a tad hehehe. Benny
even has allergies just like Judy and I LOL.
We still do our Farmtown farms on Facebook,
but late at night. Now that we have 14 farms
apiece, it really keeps us busy hehehehehe.
We also still watch all of our favorite TV
programs. Late at night we watch anything
from Frasier to most anything else that might
catch our fancy hehe. Yeppers, Judy and
I were meant to be and Benny was meant to
be with us. I had thought years ago that
I would never find anybody that would be
able to cope with my many health issues
and also have many of the same interest in
life that I have. God showed me different.
He took my heart to Maine through a little
poetry egroup and found my mate. There
is nothing beyond God’s abilities. It all has
to do with whether or not it is His will for
something to happen. Often He will allow
situations to arise to be as the lessons and
growth that we’re needing at that time.
Yes I have seen a few times in my past
that I was wondering if God had taken His
Hands off of me, but saw in later dates
the reasons He allowed what He did. He
didn’t cause the problems, but He allowed
them to happen, because He knew that
my growth needed me to move throughout
those pages in life. It showed me all of my
bad choices and helped me to make better
ones. Without going through a few struggles
we will never grow stronger. Don’t be angry
with God for the struggles, but thank Him.
Now I believe it’s time for me to be heading
back through all that I have written here
to see if I can find a good word or phrase
that I can use for the title for today’s brand
new poem. So it’s away I go to that place
of my recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE. I think I may have
found a good title, but we shall see huh 🙂
Here goes nothing….Hope not thought LOL.

The Problems

When found with problems
look up and pray
and God will show you
a much better day.
Look passed the problems
and see the view
how many things are
just helping you.
When in the problems
of daily affairs
know that God loves you
and He really cares.
Sometimes the problems
of daily accord
are what’s allowed
as help from our Lord.
See all the past days
that you have done
and How God loves you
through His Own Son.
Jesus was given as
strength to begin
and see the lessons
we learned through our sin.
Now see the problems
as what that they show.
Tool times of lessons
to help us to grow.

I hope that my rambling didn’t make ya fall asleep
and you maybe got a little out of it if be it, but only
a smile. Also I hope you enjoyed and understood
my poem. I never really know if anybody sees the
meanings behind the words unless they tell me LOL.
Once in a while somebody will tell me, but not too
often LOL. It don’t matter, because I am happy
to help none the less. Oh yea, my mom passed
out onto the floor at a TOPS meeting the other
day. She says that she’s OK. She thinks she was
dehydrated. I told her to get some more bananas.
They don’t help me, but I’m sure they will help you.
She used to always keep bananas in the house,
but she said she ran out. Anyways, I hope and
pray that she’s OK. It would kill me if anything
bad happened to my mom and me being so far
away unable to help. Yet this is the way things
are. Thank God my sister Peggy lives fairly
close as if Midlothian TX is close LOL. Ok it’s
a whole lot closer than I am. I try to call my
mom everyday or at least every other day to
keep tabs on her and also cheer her up being
she misses Judy and I. OK so before I get into
rambling mode again, I need to tell you what
I tell you every week and that is, I wrote some
more poems and haiku. 10 more poems and
22 more haiku. I hope you enjoy a few of them
and they speak to you. Now with that said, it’s
time for me to begin my search for that silly
off switch that loves to play hide and seek from
me, but before I do that I need to wish you
a most joyful and God filled week. Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too. Now to find
that confounded off switch. Found it in the
floor with Benny making as a chew toy LOL.
Boy was it glad to see me hehehehehehehehe.

A Silly Thought

A silly thought
which came in view
made me think
of what I’d do.
Things so silly
in my mind
become laughter
time to time.
A silly thing
of thought up phrase
sometimes helps
the passing days.
Yet sometimes
my silly thought
only displays
what should not.
Then my silly
things I do
need explaining
through and through.
A silly thought
of pages turned
might just come
from lessons learned.

Windy Moments

Minutes breathing
moments seen
into someone’s
windy dream.
Windy segments
written down
might seem as they’re
all around.
Times remembered
windy flairs
might be as some
answered prayers.
Some mere seconds
in the day
windy moments
blow away.
Sometimes good times
counted true
windy moments
make the view.

Ocean of Dreams

In but a second
a dream comes alive
in an ocean of dreams
that’s found with blue skies.
Some waves rolling in
in an ocean of dreams
create the flavors
of so many scenes.
Painted with brush strokes
fingers of time
an ocean of dreams
turns into sublime.
Then as the hours
pass by from my view
the ocean of dreams
turn into anew.
With waves crashing in
onto the dreams shore
I find that I’m dreaming
of wanting some more.

Shortsighted People

Sometimes a blessing
is just overlooked
as shortsighted people
see just today’s book.
Often ones vision
is just seeing sights
of just emotional
shortsighted frights.
It takes some patience
to sometimes look true
and see what blessings
that might be with you.
Search beyond right now
and see tomorrow
filled up with lessons
not just your sorrow.
Shortsighted people
will often just see
all of the troubles
amidst the debris.

Having A Friend

When you are walking
seeking an end
you might be needing
to get a good friend.
Yet it takes truthful
for friendship to grow
while being also
a friend to and fro,
but don’t be stupid
and just speak away
telling ones always
your own day to day.
Having a friend
is greatest by far,
but it takes time to
see how they are.
Let God to help you
with what you need
and a true friend will
plant as a seed.
Then as time blossoms
so will your view
of your own minutes
with friendship so true.

A Picturesque View

Silently moments
find ways to be
a picturesque painting
that we can see.
Pages we’ve found
of books day to day
display the pictures
of God on display.
A picturesque view
is found in a scene
such as the waters
of a slow moving stream.
Then in some moments
time can be found
with many pictures then
all there around.
A picturesque view
in such great detail
that is of Heaven
with ships found at sail.
Silently moments
can become true
as God awakens
your every view.

An Island Away

Sometime long ago
on an island away
time was just minutes
of oceans at sway.
All of the scenery
found in my sight
changed with its beauty
of each day and night.
Seconds passed slowly
as time moved along
on an island away
where I did belong.
Beaconing sunrise
shined on the waves
across the island
of my distant days.
Right now is flavored
with all that I’ve seen,
but now it’s only
found in a dream.

Life’s A Mystery

When morning comes
we wake up to see
all that is found
in life’s mystery.
Life is some pages
that’s waiting for words
with every mystery’s
flock full of birds.
God gives us chances
for each day to find
better tomorrows
inside of our mind.
With every minute
a mystery’s found
and then we begin
to just look around.
Look for the blessings
in all that you see
and be real happy
that life’s a mystery.

Summer’s Breeze

Springtime’s stages
come as seas
with the waves
blowing trees.
Windy portions
give and take
all the displays
that they make.
Springtime’s minutes
soon are gone
then comes summer
with its dawn.
Moments counting
then in phase
are the minutes
summer days.
Then there’s stages
in the trees
found as moments
summer’s breeze.

Finding An Echo

When searching valleys
of distantly heard
you’ll find an echo
of maybe a bird.
Maybe even voices
of ones long ago
will be the sound of
then to and fro.
Heard as a minute
that maybe has ceased
you might find signs
of an echo released.
So often people
will speak of there minds
making an echo
of troublesome times.
Let not your echoes
to become your voice.
Try and make sure that
you’ve made a good choice.

Blue Skies of Time

As clouds blow through
I watch and wait
to see designs
I can debate.
Blue skies of time
are changing each day
while I am watching
the clouds swish and sway.
Fluffily floating
up high above me
I see the clouds
all moving so free.
I find at times
that I drift away
while I am watching them
day after day.
Blue skies of time
are changing their sights
with the transcending
from days unto nights.
Night is then ended
with such a great view
found with the dawning
of sweet skies of blue.
Yet many clouds may
cover the day
blue skies of time
will still come display.

Haiku
for Apr 28, 2012

Tomorrows journey
begins with today’s footsteps
so watch where you step.

Through a puppies eyes
there is always forgiveness,
for they love truly.

Many see journeys
while not finding the beauty
that’s along the way.

Learning our lessons
often comes with a high price.
Be a cheap learner.

Morning awakens
with hope found throughout the day.
It just takes choices.

Heaven in the mind
can be found as Jesus peace
where your prayer resides.

Looking too quickly
can cause a misconception
of what’s really true.

Anger brings trouble
if it is held in too long.
Find a good outlet.

Looking up skyward
you can see the formations
of God’s Own artwork.

Breathing a good breath
needs release of the bad one,
so don’t hold it in.

Some flower type weeds
give beauty for a moment
and then turn ugly.

When springtime arrives
it brings glimmers of summer
with each passing day.

Reflecting on then
you might see a few moments
that now look stupid.

White lines on a road
separate different ways.
Actions do also.

Seconds in minutes
are often counted as time
found in a hurry.

Today might seem glum,
but you can change the moments
with a little smile.

Nobody is perfect,
for we all have our problems.
Don’t get a big head.

As daylight ceases
nighttime comes with its darkness
with shimmering stars.

Don’t let your wisdom
to overload your brain cells.
You may not be right.

When wintertime’s gone
it leaves traces of itself
found during springtime.

I hear birds chirping
as I sit watching the sky
with changing of clouds.

Passion of dewdrops
lands on the morning flowers
as kisses divine.
