ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

How has your memorial weekend been? There’s been
not much of a change for Judy and I. She finally sees
what I was talking about when I said all the days tend
to look the same when you’re retired and unable to go
anywhere LOL. Each day blends with the next day and
they seem to become one long day with night connecting
them together hehehe. I’ve sort of gotten used to it, but
I still get lost time to time wondering what day it is LOL.
Benny has made a big difference in our lives. He’s given
us a reason to get up and go outside. Plus he’s filled that
empty void that we both had from not having a child to
take care of. He’s our little boy. So enough about what
you already know hehehe and onto something else you
might already be aware of. Today is very nice with a
high of 68F degrees which it is at this very moment at
2:36 PM. The rest of the week is supposed to be in the
60’s. Yeppers, it’s nice! We both went out a few days
last week and used our weed eater to cut down some
of the weeds that were making a statement with their
yellow dandelions or whatever hehe. The flowers are
pretty, but they use their beauty to take you by surprise.
The sounds around here are pretty much the same as
every weekend LOL. Our neighbor was mowing at
9 o’clock this morning and their kids were riding their
four wheelers back and forth as they are still at this
very moment. LOL I might get em back, by opening
the window in the living room and beat a little rhythm
on my conga drums Mwahahahaha. I’ve got a feeling
though that it wouldn’t bother them in the least LOL.
I snuck in here a bit ago to keep from waking Benny.
Him and Judy were sleeping so soundly. Benny’s in
his little bed beside our bed laying on his back with
his legs all sprawled out LOL. Judy and I stay up all
night and don’t actually go to bed until maybe 5 or 6
in the morning LOL. When we met, we were both
night owls. I worked night shift for many a decade
and so sleeping at night even before my health issues
was not something that I did. Now I just catch some
rest here and there when my body will allow it, but
Judy sleeps so sound, she doesn’t even realize that
I am up as much that I am hehehe. Benny does, the
poor little guy. It’s because of me that he doesn’t get
much sleep because he wakes up almost every time
I go to the bathroom. Our neighbors are now outside
using their weed eater. Noisy %*&^#% contraption!
Our weed eater is battery operated and doesn’t make
all the racket that a gasoline engine operated one does.
Oh well, I’ll try to ignore it and get this written hehe.
Yet here comes their riding mower now close to my
window. Sheeesh, it’s times like this that I wish I
were deaf hehehe. Hey, I either went deaf or they
both quit running. I’ll try to use that time to write
as fast as I can LOL. Judy and I are still playing
on Farmtown in Facebook. That fills a few hours
of the night with something to do. Ok, so the weed
eater and mower are going AGAIN! Darn, I was
hoping that they had ran out of gas or something.
Hehehehe oh well, on with the journal. I went with
Judy the other day to her dads gravestone and she
put a wreath on it. I took a few pictures of her
as she stood beside his grave. I wish I could go to
my dads grave and do the same, but I can’t and
even if I could, dad told me before he passed away,
that when he died, that his body would be at rest
in the ground, but his spirit and all would be up
above watching over us. I understood what he
was saying. His Earthly body would be nothing
more than an empty shell. So I always talk to my
dad while at times I can feel him standing right
beside me smiling. Death here on Earth is not the
end, but the beginning of another life. One that
has no end. Often the ones that have gone before
us will become as guardian angels watching over
us every day. Life and death have many different
viewpoints to many people. I believe that there
are some when they die that refuse to go where
they should go for fear of where they will end up.
Others I feel that they are just happy being here
watching ones continue their lives. I know many
do not believe in ghosts, but I do, for it is written
in the bible. LOL, I ain’t gonna try to make you
believe my beliefs hehehe. None the less, we this
Memorial Day remember those that fought for
our freedom and protected us when we could not
protect ourselves. Fallen soldiers and ones that
have done their time on Earth. Thank you all
for all of your dedication towards our protection.
Thank you God for the men and women that have
given their lives so that we might live in peace.
Now I believe it’s time for me to begin my little
quest back through all that I’ve written here to see
if I can find a good word or phrase that I can use
for the title of today’s brand new poem. So, it’s
away I go to that lil place of my recollection that
I like to call RECOLLECT VILLE. I think with
all of the weed eating and mowing ceased I will
be able to find a good title and it looks like I may
have found one 🙂 Now to see if I can do anything
with it before all of the weed eating and mowing
continues hehehehe Here goes nothing!

Fallen Soldiers

Wars of people
continue on
day to day
with each new dawn.
Many struggle
when they’re older
with the loss of
fallen soldiers.
Time begins as
pages turned
bringing timeframes
we’ve discerned.
Wars of people
that we’ve seen
fallen soldiers
come between.
Bringing peace
with all they do
for their love’s
red, white and blue.

Again, I want to thank all of the soldiers for their
continued support. To the ones that to this day are
still fighting for our freedom, I thank you! Now to
finish this journal. I hope you enjoyed my rambling
and you didn’t let my beliefs to upset you LOL. Hey
we are each human with our own ways of viewing
life and death. I’m reasonably sure that there are
many that view it the same as Judy and I do. God
is always there with His strength through His Son.
Well, I reckon it’s about time for me to be telling
you what I tell you every week and that is, I wrote
some more poems and haiku. Yeppers, 10 more
poems with one of them being a Christmas poem.
Also once again I wrote 22 more haiku for all of
my haiku lovers out there. And so, with that said,
I guess it’s time for me to start searching for that
darned off switch that loves to elude me, but not
before I wish you a most wonderful Memorial day
and a wonderful week. Remember, Jesus loves
you and we do too. Now to find that freaking off
switch. Found it hiding under the pillow trying to
silence the noise of the weed eating and mowing 🙂
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Window Escapade

Scenes through a window
make so many see
all of the escapades
given for free.
Yet there’s so often
that many don’t view
scenes through a window
that are so anew.
A window escapade
taken to heart
can make the mornings
much better to start.
Painted with blue skies
and clouds above
A window escapade
can be pure love.
Let loose your sorrows
of yesterdays find
and seek the escapade
of peace of mind.

Pointless Scenes

Time so pointless
finds a way
to with minutes
go astray.
Sometimes anger
in its race
creates wrinkles
on a face.
Pointless thinking
needs arrive
at a better
place alive.
Leaving pointless
just remembered
as what hurry
just dismembered.
Lose the fractions
pointless scenes
and find truth
within its means.

Healing Gold

God’s strong Hands
will surely hold
me each day
as healing gold.
Making sure
that I will learn
when my life
is then in turn.
Many pages
might turn quick
leaving minutes
feeling sick.
The healing gold
of timeless prayer
will be found
with breath of air.
God gives strength
that is foretold
scented with His
Healing Gold.
Days of mishaps
will be found,
but He’ll send
His solid ground.
So when troubles
find you blue
let God show you
life anew.

Star Gazing

Late at night
while seeking views
I find stars
with twinkle blues.
Layered colors
in the skies
seem to pour down
in my eyes.
Some faint rhythms
make their way
as nights ending
coming day.
While star gazing
I find Mars
mixed up with
so many stars.
Even Venus
shows its face
up above
in outer space.
Yes I’m looking
for some sights
while star gazing
in the nights.

A Ridge Over Way

Hills in the distance
are seen as a view
now as a echo
from then thereunto.
The distant thresholds
show a sweet sign
painted with pictures
of God’s Own Design.
A ridge over way
is scented with flowers
displayed as journeys
that springtime empowers.
My eyesight reaches
as best that it will
seeking the beauty
for time to fulfill.
Each with a blossom
of another fine day
seen over yonder
on a ridge over way.

The Tides of Love

So many heartbeats
from God above
are with echoes
of the tides of love.
Footprints in the sand
that many will make
the tides of love
will surely take.
Brought as oceans
of waves of time
the tides of love
creates their design.
Seen as just journeys
that ones misconstrue
the tides of loves
live in me and you.
Yet some might often
just fall in dismay
and miss the blessings
that God sent that day.

Lending Heartbeats

Daylight meets darkness
when moments connect
sometimes then causing
a ripple affect.
Bringing ones sadness
where time completes
and that’s a good time
for lending heartbeats.
Showing compassion
for those not so good,
for they might just be
misunderstood.
Lending a heartbeat
to one with a frown
might in some manner
turn you around.
You might see better
the views of each day
how lending heartbeats
can better display.
For in the future
when time then completes
you might find reasons
for lending heartbeats.

Made As A Human

Made as a human
I find that I see
timeless construction
that God did in me.
Each day has journeys
with lessons to learn
made as a human
that I’m to discern.
Often my judgment
is not all that great
and I make burdens
through ones I forsake.
We are each human
with timeless recoil
finding the lessons
through many a toil.
We’re writing journals
with fingers and feet
that are so often
just timeless defeat.
Let not those journals
to fill up with pain.
Find all the lessons
from time and again.
Also seek good things
of which you remember
written in journals
of times burning ember.

Waiting For Snowflakes

Now as I sit here
my memory’s alive
seeking for Christmas
to right now arrive.
Waiting for snowflakes
I sit in wonder
while I am looking now
way over yonder.
Seeking those snowflakes
as white as can be
while I just sit here
just seeking to see.
Waiting for snowflakes
within my sight
I’m seeking Christmas
to also delight.
Christmastime hues
of red, blue and green
lighting up almost
every little scene.
The snow as it billows
floating on down
creating patterns then
found on the ground.
Many will trudge on
through it to find
their Christmas tree
for their Christmastime.
Yet now I sit here
as long as it takes
searching and seeking
waiting for snowflakes.

Shadow Talk

Found in the day
and also the night
is but a shadow
to mimic so right.
Speaking with only
words of its phrase
mimicking only
the nights and the days.
It’s shadow talk
with only a hue
maybe a tree
or maybe just you.
Speaking so slightly
that many will hear
scenes in the night
that fill them with fear.
It’s shadow talk
with only a glance
maybe of wonder
or maybe just stance.
Look on beyond
the shadows display
maybe with answers
of nighttime or day.

Haiku
for May 26, 2012

Today is a page
written as its existence
that we’ll remember.

Bringing your sorrow
into tomorrows journey
will make it the same.

A rosebud will grow
when winter has subsided
and warmth has returned.

People with problems
might seek others with problems
to sometimes compare.

Blissful reunions
come as shadows remembered
not as what is now.

Belonging to now
needs you to leave yesterday
and live in today.

Drawing a flower
on a white piece of paper
can become alive.

A moments dispute
can cause unending sorrow.
Learn how to forgive.

Beyond a shadow
is a glimmer of something
that may be a tree.

Breathe in softly
and let your worries subside
into life’s lessons.

Bringing the sunlight
into the darkness of sin
makes many nervous.

Changing emotions
can confuse those that know you
and make them to doubt.

Breaking a rhythm
might leave repercussions
that cause ones to fall.

Today is the day
that yesterday just thought of
and knew not its game.

Verifying manners
can leave you in confusion
for many will lie.

While glancing backwards
the view ahead says hello
sometimes with surprise.

Being who you are
needs some determination
with not being swayed.

Answers that we’ve sought
could become many questions
that have no answers.

Breeding a problem
with a circumstantial time
can evolve trouble.

Blisters on fingers
come as lessons that we feel
and teachers of time.

A feather floating
is the essence of a heart
that many don’t see.

Vigorous training
can leave you without a breath.
Learn how to relax.
