Thereabouts

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

How have ya been since my last email? I hope you’re
not melting from the heat. Right now it’s 77F degrees
up here. It got a tad cold last night and I had to turn
off all of the fans in the house. Even Benny was cold.
LOL He even wanted to sleep in bed with Judy and I and
snuggle under the covers hehehe. Yes, he sleeps with
us for a bit every night, but not under the covers. He
usually sleeps on top of the covers. I gave him a hair
trimming last night so that might of added to the being
cold hehehe. We’ll let his hair grow out for wintertime.
There’s not much to write about that has changed in
the Pearce’s household. Oh yea, Benny hurt his left
foot the other day, we think when we went to go put
some solar lights on her dads grave. Benny was in my
lap watching Judy, when he decided to jump out of
the window to go and tinkle on her dads tombstone.
Yeppers, he marked his territory. Sorry dad! He
just did what dogs do. The weather up here hasn’t
been too awful bad. We’ve had a few sprinkles
a day or so ago. Today, it’s partly cloudy and our
little boy is outside in the shade under the back end
of the car hehehe. Benny likes that spot for some
reason. He loves to go for car rides and when he
sees Judy and or I putting on some clothes for the
day, he thinks there might be a chance for a car
ride. Plus he doesn’t like for either of us to leave
him. If even just one of us go somewhere without
him, he cries, but not for long, but he’s happy as
all get out when we get back and that little tail of
his almost wags off. Anyways, back to his foot.
His foot seems to have healed on its own. He must
of just bruised it or maybe sprained it a tad. I told
Judy Friday, that if he wasn’t better by Monday,
we were taking him to the vet. LOL, Benny might
of heard me and said no way Jose and started his
own healing process hehehe. In any sense, he’s
running and jumping on the bed again just like he
has always done. He loves to wake us up with
kisses/licks. He gave me a good licking yesterday.
He gave Judy a good licking a little bit later LOL.
He loves mom and dad hehehe and the feeling is
mutual. Judy’s in the kitchen right now washing
dishes and cleaning up a bit. The electric company
shut down for a few hours last night so they could
upgrade some of their equipment, so Judy and I
also shut down our PC’s before the time that they
said to expect. Little Benny was scared, because
it was so quiet and dark. He’s used to the fans
blowing and the TV being on the music channel
or one of our TV programs. I shined a light on
him and he was just shaking. I said it’s alright
Benny and picked him up and put him in bed to
lay with Judy and I. Then I went and found a
candle to give us a little light until the electricity
came back on. When the light came back on,
the doorbell also rang which sort of frightened
Benny hehehe, but I got up and turned all of
the lights off and laid back down with him and
Judy and he calmed down and snuggled with
us. Later he decided he wanted to sleep in his
own bed, so I put him in it. It was an eventful
night LOL. We’ve gotta go to Caribou some
time before the end of the month so I can try
and get my drivers license renewed. I don’t do
a lot of driving, but I would like to stay legal.
I can only drive for short spurts being my many
problems tend to cause my potassium level to
drop which after a bit makes my eyesight to also
depreciate. Please, no medical advice. There
is nothing that can be done. I’ve dealt with these
health issues since 1994. So please, no health
tips. They won’t be appreciated. Ok so I guess
it’s time for me to try and find another topic.
Judy and I are still playing FarmTown. We had
to let one farm to slide until today and just do
our farms on our other profiles, being that the
electricity was scheduled to be shut off for a
few repairs at midnight. My mom is doing well.
She’s staying busy with life as she will often also
call me with a few of her computer problems
and I almost go freaking nuts trying to explain
how to fix them over the phone hehehe. I sure
wish I could just beam over there and fix them
for her, but I do have my friends at Century
Computer. Ron and Mandy take good care of
her. Thanks Ron and Mandy. I don’t know
what I would do without you. My Aunt Jody
is still not doing well after her heart attack.
God be with her. One of my good friends called
the other day to talk and I found out why I had
not heard from her since the first of the year
and that is because her mother died of pelvic
cancer. Also her cousin, my old lead guitar
player from the 80’s died of a busted hernia
two days later due to not going to the doctor.
They didn’t find his body until his mom started
missing seeing him and went back to the house
where he was staying. he had been dead for
a couple of days. Life is short, so make right
with God. I’m pretty sure that he didn’t unless
he did it in his last breath. Lisa’s mom is now
in Heaven watching over us and she is feeling
no pain. I miss all of my friends. Maybe one
day Judy and I will be able to take a little south
bound drive to Texas and thereabouts. It’s up
to God whether its meant for us to do. Well,
I have rambled on and on about this and that
haven’t I LOL. So I guess it’s time for me to
be heading back through all that I’ve written
to that place of my recollection and see if I can
find a good word or phrase that I can use for
the title for today’s brand new poem. So, it’s
away I go to that little place that I like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE. I think I may have
found a good title. Now let’s see what I can
do with it, if anything at all LOL.

Thereabouts

Here and there
and thereabouts
time shows us
some ins and outs.
Many markers
with each day
show us how to
and which way.
God gives choices
we’re to choose
when some seem
a moments ruse.
Thereabouts
of times detail
many things
will then set sail.
Let God guide
your ins and outs
and be safe in
thereabouts.
Let not hurry
guide your view
in thereabouts
of thereunto.
Search for peace
within His Name
and you’ll not then
go insane.

I hope that made at least a little bit of sense to you.
Also, I hope my rambling didn’t bore ya to tears hehe.
There’s not much left to talk about. I was forced once
again to write all of my poems and haiku early this
morning, being the electricity was turned off when I
was planning on writing hehehe. No matter, it got
done. I finished it up and then went in the bedroom
only to find that Benny needed to go outside to go
to the bathroom, so I let him out. He wasn’t outside
for long before he was ready to come back in and
snuggle with Judy and I. So, he jumped up in bed
and waited for me to lay down and then we snuggled.
Judy said, he’s already back in? I said yep hehehe!
He was ready to come back in after he did his little
number outside. It’s a beautiful day today. Oh yea,
Judy and I have been decorating our bathroom and
it’s looking pretty sharp. We bought a nice toilet
back rack and a cabinet to store our towels and
whatnots. Also we bought some window blinds and
I hung them yesterday. Judy also found some nice
cattails with a dragonfly wall art and it along with
everything together makes the bathroom look tons
better. Well, before I get back into my rambling
mode, I better tell you what I tell you every week
and that is, I wrote some more poems and haiku.
Yes I know, I told ya that earlier LOL, but one
thing I didn’t tell ya is that I wrote 10 more poems
with one of them being sort of Christmassy. Also
I wrote 22 more haiku for all of the haiku lovers
out there. Now it’s time for me to begin my quest
for that silly old off switch, but not before I wish
you a most wonderful God filled week. Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too. Now to find that
off switch that loves to elude me. Aha, found ya
you little whippersnapper. Hiding in Benny’s hair
won’t save ya. Remember, I trimmed his hair
quite a bit last night hehehehehehehehehehehehe.
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

After The Night

Soon after night
comes dawn of the day
speaking its wisdom
that some might dismay.
After the night
there’s stories to read
planted as moments
found as a seed.
When the moon shadows
then all dissipate
time begins showing
at its own rate.
For after nighttime
scenes might appear
sleepy eyed turnstiles
not very clear.
After the night
the choices you made
will be for sunshine
to show or to fade.
So in your nightlife
where all you go,
make sure they’re places
you’d want to show.

A Simple Tune

A place in time
that’s heard so sweet
can be found
when songs repeat.
A simple tune
on the radio
brings alive
the things we know.
A place a thought
that lives within
a simple tune
makes them begin.
The sounds and words
that come alive
help our heartbeats
to survive.
A simple tune
that others have made
comes alive
when ever they’re played.

Misplaced

Things misplaced
in our confusion
often leads to
an illusion.
Placing blame
without first thinking
can lead to
a ship that’s sinking.
Let your journeys
that you find
not misplace
your day and time.
For misplaced
of hearts desire
can become
the devils fire.
Don’t let hurry
be misplaced
giving you a
bitter taste.

Winters Stage

Scenes of summer
now are found
as a stage
of sight and sound.
Winters stage
will soon unfold
with the days
of oh so cold.
Yet now summer
only shows
warmest days
awaiting snows.
Winters stage
is soon to come
with some peace
from summers sun.
Time will tarry
with each page
as we soon
see winters stage.

Coming Soon

Now the past
of days gone by
leaves ones thinking
how and why.
Coming soon
might be the sight
with the past
of wrong and right.
Coming soon
might just display
echoes found
another day.
Let your judgment
look to God
and not seek
your own applaud.
Coming soon
you might be found
wishing for
some solid ground.

Motives

Without motives
many stay
where they are
from day to day.
Motivation
makes us move
in our daily
moments groove.
Many might be
seen and heard
with their lives
a bit absurd.
Often motives
lose control
causing ones to
lose their soul.
Let God guide you
every day
and let motives
go His way.

Tainted Doorways

Doors we’ve chosen
to walk through
might not be
the best to do.
Tainted doorways
may just hide
all their horror
deep inside.
Let your hurry
not to haste
leading you through
times of waste.
Many doorways
that we see
might reflect
our history.
Use those lessons
in doorways
to make better
future days.

Without Today

Today this moment
gives a view
of our times
we’ve gone askew.
Without today
we might just miss
yesterdays value
found on the list.
So do not worry
if you made mistakes
for they are lessons
of needed partakes.
Without right now
we might just be
living in our
history.
Find the lessons
from yesterday
and learn to act
a better way.

Christmas of Winter

Lingering heartbeats
seek for a flow
found in the wintertime
white as the snow.
Christmas of winter
brings forth a view
found within wintertime
always so new.
Scenery changes
with white works of art
as they find places
inside of our heart.
Christmas of winter
somehow brings us love
as it reminds us
of God above.
Flavors of colors
glitter and glow
Christmas of winter
then white as snow.
People find blessings
as they sing true
of all that Lord God
did surely do.
He gave His Son
with a Heavenly place
being forgiven
through Jesus Grace.

Songbirds Sing

The day’s begun
with summers scent,
as songbirds sing
of their intent.
Daily passion
I now can hear
reminding me
of yesteryear.
Times remembered
when they sing
are such moments
found in spring.
Painted hillsides
with sunflowers
remind me of
those Texas hours.
Moments while we
snapped a few
pictures of our
daily view.
Now the songbirds
sing so fine
reminding me
a place and time.
My heart remembers
on and on
to another
dusk to dawn.

Haiku
for Aug 19, 2012

Many will hurry
to get what they do not need
and then regret it.

Mornings arrival
gives us new chances to change.
Learn from yesterday.

Windows of turmoil
fill the view of worriers.
Let Jesus have it.

Being well prepared
can make your life much better.
Don’t waste time away.

Losing a loved one
always leaves an empty hole.
Fill it with Jesus.

The summertimes rains
fall as glimmers of hopeful
to cool off the day.

A flowers petals
will often follow the wind
and spread many seeds.

Yearning for winter
brings darkened thoughts of summer
that seek for its end.

Birds singing sweetly
welcome the day of beauty
filling it with song.

If you’re just praying
and not doing anything
then you’re wasting time.

Life is a picture
painted daily by Lord God,
but many miss it.

Your own emotions
might misinterpret someone
an not see the truth.

When two are combined
they can become good or bad.
The mixture will tell.

Allowing someone
to change your better values
can also change you.

Yesterday’s blessings
live as today’s planted seeds
that grow in God’s fields.

Beyond what’s right now
there are many illusions
that will not come true.

Various gateways
bring us certain harmony
and others despair.

Blessed assurance
is a gift come from Jesus
of His daily love.

Breaking a promise
might make many to wonder
if you are truthful.

Echoes of heartache
live as many memories
that need to find peace.

Playing a fools game
could leave you holding the ball
as others walk free.

The sounds of summer
come as morning awakens
and birds start singing.
