ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

Well this is the second time I’ve tried to write my journal today LOL.
There was a power outage after I had spent TWO hours on writing my
journal. So here I go again! Now, it’s 2:20 PM not 12:30 PM when
I had started before LOL. It seems that the power outage began at
Houlton and took us with it being that’s where we get our electricity.
Anyways, it’s 72 F degrees right now with high supposed to be around
75 F degrees. It’s supposed to be in the mid 60’s and 70’s F all week
long with rain forecasted for Friday and into the weekend. Then the
temperatures are supposed to be by Saturday in the mid 50’s to lower
60’s F. Our neighbors and landlord did a little bit of mowing Saturday
to get ready for winter. I don’t think the grass is gonna grow much
more now. In many places it’s dying. Yep, winter is surely on its way
as fall comes into sight. I took a little drive by myself west of us a bit
Saturday and got a lot of great pictures, but still not much on the fall
colors. It’s still a bit too soon, but Judy and I might make another
photographing venture in a few days to see if we can’t get some fall
colors to show our friends and family. Benny and Milo are doing good.
Milo is lying in the floor right beneath my feet and Benny is outside
enjoying the sunshine. Milo doesn’t like to be outside much other
than to go potty hehehe. Benny prefers the indoors, but loves the
outdoors also. He will on most cases sit at the top of the steps or
atop of his doghouse and watch as the day moves on. They truly
are a pair hehehe. You can tell that they love one another. When
I had returned from my picture taking venture Saturday, they were
both stood at the screen door barking and whining, because they
missed me :). They do that to either of us. If we go to WalMart
and leave them in their cages at home, they throw a fit when they
hear our car pull up in the driveway. When we let them out of their
cages, they can’t contain their excitement hehehe. It’s quite a nut
house around here from time to time LOL. When we first got Milo
back in October of last year, he didn’t like to be held and wasn’t
that affectionate. Boy has he changed! He loves to sit in my lap
and will on most cases beg for me t pick him up hehehehehehehe.
Benny has always loved to sit in my lap since we brought him home
from the Bangor Airport back in March of last year. Benny marked
his spot while Judy drove hehehe. Yes, he peed in my lap being he
hadn’t gone to the bathroom in over 5 hours of his flight and many
layovers in route here from Missouri where we bought him from.
Benny was a rescue dog. I guess the boys like the Santa Clause
looking lap that I have LOL HoHoHo. They love to be held by
Judy as well, but for some reason prefer my lap. Go figure!!!!
On another topic, Judy and I have our twelve year anniversary
coming up Wednesday October 2. Can you believe it? She has
put up with me for 12 years! LOL we’ve put up with each other.
We have a lot of special moments together and we both love
to watch most of the same TV programs and take pictures as
well as play with our little boys hehehe. She also writes poetry
and is a great poet in my book. Yet she doesn’t write quite as
much as I do. For that matter, I know no one that writes as
many poems as I do hehehe, especially in one day 🙂 Benny
is in the house and apparently barking at the wind being he’s
lying on the recliner. He might have been chasing a dream :).
Milo ran in the living room to see what he was barking about.
He even came back in here with confusion on his face hehehe.
Well, the day moves on as the seasons show their journeys.
After fall will be the beginning of winter with snowflakes that
blanket the Earth. I always love to see the first snowflakes 🙂
Of course after about 2 or 3 months of winters snow it does
lose its appeal a tad LOL, then we start praying for summer.
Springtime is not a season we see much of up here. They say
they do, but then they have never actually experienced true
springtime hehehe. It shouldn’t be displayed with snow on
the ground and freezing temperatures in my book hehehehe.
Nope, that ain’t springtime to me! Christmas is my favorite
time of year and that is one reason I love it up here, because
we have never had a Christmas that there wasn’t snow on the
ground. A few times it was snowing Christmas Day. We’ve
had a few great snows on Christmas Eve. Anyways, that is
one of the many things I like about living up here. The things
I miss are my friends and family and being able to take a trip
down south to Port Aransas with Judy and wade in the oceans
waves while taking pictures all the while. Both of us miss that.
We also miss swimming in the swimming pool most every week
at the Americana Apartments in Greenville TX where we lived.
I miss my outings with my mom as we would often head off to
WalMart late at night when Judy was at work. Also my mom
would often treat Judy and I to lunch at the Caddo Café down
the road from us. Those were the days. Now is another page
within our journal of life and we’re writing more episodes to
be read later on in life. There’s one thing I hate about living
up here and that is I can’t seem to find anyone that will be my
friend. Most treat me like a disease or something. I know I’m
different, but I’m a nice guy. I had thought I had made some
friends up here, but one moved to Hawaii and the other I have
not heard from in a long while and I don’t know his new phone
number. Maybe God willing one day I might find me a friend
that I can hang with when Judy goes to have her day with her
sisters. Saturday while driving looking for some scenery I met
a nice lady while looking for her husband that I had run across
years ago on one of my snowy picture drives, but I had since
forgotten where it was that he lived LOL. I just happened to
find myself on the same road as then while looking for pictures
to take and walked up to say hello. She said her husband was
sick, but she would tell him I stopped by. Me and her stood
talking at the door for about an hour and I looked behind me
to see the most beautiful sunset as I was heading back to the
car and I snapped a number of pictures. In all, I had a great
time visiting as well as getting some pictures. Maybe, if I can
find their house again hehehe I will visit again and hopefully
get to chat with her husband, the one that I had hoped to see.
I asked if they were on the internet and she said yeah, so I
told her to look up my website AnimalsGreetings.com and
in the about me has my email addy if either of them wants to
write me. I had driven many back roads so only God knows
if I’ll be able to find their house again anytime soon hehehe.
I have always been a people person of course aside from my
alcoholic days back in the late 80’s I had drank myself into
seclusion, but after I sobered up in June of 1990 I found my
love for people once again. God gives us chances to excel
in our lives, but we must release the bindings of yesterday
and move forward. My past has had a lot of turns and twists,
but survived with many lessons I learned from those days.
Don’t let the turmoil’s of yesterday to hinder your sight for
today and tomorrow. Let them help you to grow to be much
stronger. Become wise and use the past as tools to make a
better today. God will help you as He sees you need help,
but will not intercede if He knows you are capable of doing
it yourself. Keep the faith that all will work the way that it
should work as each day comes to be. We might see the
immediate wrongs in our eyes, but we might not see the
lessons that came from them or angels that are born from a
horrific loss. Now it’s time for me to begin my little quest
back through all that I’ve written here to see if I can find
a good word or phrase that might work well for the title for
today’s new poem. So, it’s away I go to that place of my
recollection that I always like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.
I found a phrase earlier while I was writing and wrote it
down just in case I couldn’t find a better one, but it looks
like it will do 🙂 Here goes!

The Beginning Of Winter

While seasons move on
and pages are turned
the beginning of winter
is one day discerned.
As all the minutes of
then thereunto
the beginning of winter
comes into view.
Soon many snowflakes
will fall down to be
the whitest scenario
I’ll ever see.
The beginning of winter
comes in so cold
as that of yesterdays
found from the old.
The beginning of winter
will soon be displayed
as what that Lord God’s
Hands surely made.
While seasons move on
with snow front and center
we will see glimmers
the beginning of winter.

I hope you enjoyed my rambling and maybe even the poem 🙂
It was aggravating for me to have to completely write this mess
a second time being I could not remember what I wrote in the
first one LOL. At least I hadn’t written the poem yet hehehehe.
I was though down to that point and fixing to try and find a title.
Oh well, it’s done! Milo is still lying down in the floor, but he
has since moved being I kept having to move him over because
he was right under my feet LOL. Benny is still in the living room
lying on the recliner. That’s one of his favorite places along with
under the coffee table 🙂 They keep us entertained 😉 hehehehe.
I think its now time for me to be telling you what I tell you every
week and that is, I wrote some more poems and haiku. Yeppers,
10 more poems with 3 of them being a bit Christmassy. I also
wrote 22 more haiku for all of my haiku lovers out there. I hope
you find something you like that makes you smile or maybe just
makes you think. Now it’s time for me to begin my search for
that ornery off switch, but not before I wish you a most wonderful
God filled week. Remember, Jesus loves you and we do too.
So, where is that blasted off switch hiding this week? Hmmm,
I think I see ya you little varmint. Yeppers, that has to be you
making that lump in my mouse pad causing problems hehehehe.
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

P.S The last poem is one I wrote to
Judy about us 🙂

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehe

Reflections

Simple reflections
often are seen
making their paintings
found in a stream.
Reflections revivals
display their game
while many look like
just as the same.
Simple emotions
reflected as glass
while many waters
move by so fast.
Some show as ripples,
some show as waves
reflecting the patterns
that many will gaze.
While the reflections
just move along
all they’re reflecting
sings the same song.

Seas of Silence

As seas of time
become the past
times conclusions
shadow’s cast.
Seas of silence
change their view
with some waves
of thereunto.
When the wind shears
make their change
seas of silence
sounds attain.
Then eruptions
from the silence
are as crashing
waves of violence.
But as the day
moves along
seas of silence
sing their song.

This Small Boy

As years of time
display their views
this small boy
might win or lose.
Hoping dreaming
what’s to come
when the year is
said and done.
This small boy
will look each day
trying searching
for a way.
Seeking Christmas
time moves on
this small boy
is dusk to dawn.
Wanting Santa
and his sleigh
to fly high
to him that day.
This small boy
of such desires
has some dreaming
Christmas fires.
Stoked and waiting
Christmastime
for a moments
peace design.
This small boy
has seen enough
of the troubles
oh so tough.
All he’s wanting
is some joy
not a simple
Christmas toy.
This small boy
of then and there
seeks a moments
answered prayer.
This small boy
with Christmas view
seeks for only
love so true.

Night Dreams

The sun goes down
to bring a gaze
found beyond
the sight of days.
Stars will twinkle
with moonshine
bringing night dreams
so divine.
Clouds might billow
in the sky
as your night dreams
do apply.
Even raindrops
might fall down
in your night dreams
sight and sound.
Winds of ventures
might blow through
in your night dreams
there and to.
Sleep is portioned
as some streams
found within
your own night dreams.

Finding Christmas

Searching for Christmas
many might go
where there are signs of
fresh fallen snow.
Seeking remembered
things from the past
becomes a venture
out of contrast.
Finding Christmas
needs you to look
and see the values
you have mistook.
It’s not the presents
or worldly gains
that describe Christmas
all it attains.
It’s about Jesus
and all His love
that is sent freely
from God above.
Finding Christmas
needs from the start
beginning the searching
within your heart.

Northern Views

Summertime’s pictures
now fade from sight
as all the minutes
tick day and night.
Soon will be wintertime
filled full of snow
seen each direction
of which I might go.
Billows of white stuff
will paint the ground
as all the winter winds
blow it around.
The book of summer
is closed for a time
to allow colors
to paint so divine.
Fall comes with glimmers
of colors to see
red, brown and yellow
before you and me.
Then as the stages
change then in sight
there will be snowflakes
found day and night.
These northern views
of stages set
are of the times
I’ll never forget.
Painted as whispers
with snowy shoes
these are my ventures
our northern views.

Cherished Thoughts

With every day
there is a time
cherish thoughts
of which to find.
Christmas blessings
long ago
cherished thoughts
that surely grow.
Timeless echoes
Christmas joy
found within
a girl and boy.
All those times
that we remember
live and breathe
within December.
Cherished thoughts
that we love so
are often found
in Christmas snow.
Even twinkling
lights thereunto
become the best
of which to view.
Scenes remembered
never lost
live within
our cherish thoughts.

Pointless Gains

Many seeking
gains and wins
are so pointless
many sins.
Looking for
that silver dollar
found within
a sinful crawler
leaves you standing
empty lives
with unending
Hellish strives.
Let your minutes
seen by many
be so grateful
for a penny.
Let Lord Jesus
fill your mind
lesser pointless
gains to find.
Find the blessings
within giving
and you’ll find
much better living.

A Star Danced

I looked up at
the nighttime sky
and saw a star
that danced awry.
It seemed to be
a dancing game
found within
a nighttime frame.
A star danced
with style and grace
and it flew
from place to place.
It might have been
just how I viewed
a little bit just
misconstrued.
Yet a star danced
in my sky
up above me
very high.
Mesmerizing
was it’s sight
found within
the dark of night.
Then I awakened
from my sleep
and found the star
was slumber deep.
It was only
just a dream
a star that danced
a moments stream.
It seemed so real
what time romanced
found within
a star that danced.

A Picture of Us

We’ve found some special
times together
that remembered
last forever.
A picture of us
upon a beach
walking together
waves in reach.
Then there’s a few
of you and I
within the waves
of southern sky.
We splashed in waves
as time moved on
in the early
mornings dawn.
A picture of us
is also found
with us walking
all around.
Searching for some
sights to see
us together
you and me.
We found some special
times that shine
now that live
inside my mind.
A picture of us
is held to my heart
as I remember
all from the start.
Yes you and I
with love so true
a picture of us
I’ll always view.
As time moves on
and older we get
a picture of us
I’ll never forget.

To Judy Pearce
From Bill Pearce
I LOVE YOU

Haiku
for Sept 28, 2013

The hours will pass
leaving glimmers of shadows
that we remember.

Within the moonlight
there are things we cannot see,
but just fathom of.

Waves of time are found
as echoes crashing ashore
leaving our memories.

Wintertime’s prelude
comes as cold winds blowing through
along with snowflakes.

Many are challenged
as each tries to hold tightly
to what that has passed.

Seasonal snowflakes
fall as wintertime comes to be
and paint all things white.

Blessings of today
might have been there yesterday,
but yet not noticed.

The sounds of winter
come as snowplows down the road
and teeth chattering.

Time related words
echo as certain moments,
so don’t speak harshly.

The wings of a bird
carry it high up in the sky
and Earthward to rest.

Flowers of springtime
will blossom after winter
if they are cared for.

Some flowers are weeds
that display so much beauty
to give chance to live.

Beyond a poolside
is another out of reach
that needs you to swim.

Lettering of signs
only glamourizes it
so that it’s noticed.

The mornings challenge
comes as a few passing clouds
that paint the blue sky.

Having some teardrops
doesn’t mean that you are weak.
It means that you care.

Now is only here,
for yesterday’s come and gone
with tomorrows hopes.

A bicycle chain
connects sprocket to back wheel
as our chains in life.

Nobody knows all,
for we have limitations
on what that we know.

Allowing trouble
to infest your many thoughts
can cause destruction.

Believing in spirits
opens your mind up to God
and His Son Jesus.

Now is a moment
that will soon be in the past
as just memories.
