ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s Sunday again and according to the hands
of the clock on the wall, it’s time to begin my
rambling hehehe. This passed week has been
pretty fair. We got some more snow Friday
and we had to drive into town to pay the light
bill in the midst of it LOL. It wasn’t too bad.
The county snowplows were busy clearing the
roads. Judy never got passed 35 miles an hour.
It was a long drive to town and back due to
that LOL. I did though take pictures as if you
thought I wouldn’t hehehe. I even did a video
of our drive, which I uploaded to Facebook.
Many said they enjoyed riding along with us.
Anyways, It also snowed Wednesday a little
bit and me and the boys got out and played
in it while I took a few pictures. I walked out
to check the mail and they just watched me
from our driveway. They’re very good boys.
Judy and I gave Rocky a haircut Saturday,
or at least we did the best we could LOL.
He’s not fond of getting his hair cut, so it
took both of us to hold him and attempt to
trim him. We are going to have to work out
a plan for getting his underside trimmed 🙂
We’ll figure it out LOL. In the mean time
he looks better than he did hehehe. Benny
isn’t needing a haircut yet. We did him not
too long ago. Today’s just a lazy day here
at the Pearce’s Place. Benny and Rocky
are lying around in the floor and Judy is
behind me on her PC browsing Pinterest
and whatever 🙂 Tonight we’ll watch our
favorite Sunday shows or at least we will
try being tonight’s Superbowl Sunday and
neither of us could care less about football.
Neither of us is a sports fan, so we might
end up watching Family Feud on GSN LOL.
Judy might work some more on her new
book. She’s writing a new poetry book 🙂
I’m hoping that when I die that she can do
something with all of my poetry to provide
her a nice living 🙂 I would put mine in a
book, but it’s more than my right eye can
handle, being I would have to do a lot of
editing and reformatting of all of the poems.
No matter, I’m sure she will be OK. We’re
hoping that her newest book when published
becomes a hit. Time will tell. Yet for now
I must stay alive and do the best I can to
keep her laughing LOL. I do irritate her
from time to time with my dad jokes hehehe.
It’s 16 F degrees right now at 5:13 PM and
it’s supposed to be 3 F degrees by morning.
Still, it’s not too bad for February hehehe.
I bought us 157 more gallons of heating
oil and it was delivered Thursday, so that
should keep us going for another month or
so. Especially since I turned the heat down.
I had turned it up when my daughter came
up, but forgot to turn it back down and it
used a little more heating oil than it would
at a lower setting. No matter, I think we’re
good till spring, but of course it’s still cold
during spring normally. We normally still
have snow then too hehehe. It might be a
warmer spring being our winter has been
not of the norm. So OK, what else has
been going on up this way? Well, Judy’s
mom is still not doing too well. Please put
her in your prayers. My grandmother is
not responding to anyone. She might be
on her last year of life. She’s 108 years
old. My sister is doing well or at least
that’s what my mom tells me. She said
that Peggy’s surgery went well and now
she is home being taken care of by her
kids. Hey Peggy, I won’t call and bother
you, but if ya need to talk, I’m here 🙂
Call any time. I love ya sis. With me way
up here in Nowhere’s Ville it’s hard to be
of any help. Though I do know that God
hears my prayers and does what’s needed.
Prayer can travel further than any mode
of transportation. LOL Rocky has finally
quit begging for treats and laid down with
his brother in the floor. He was driving me
crazy hehehe. Judy was trying to get him
to quit and then I turned and looked at him
and went HEY and then he hushed hehehe.
As if my eyes said it all LOL. I think he
can tell when he has crossed the line LOL,
at least with me hehehe. So, what else is
there to tell ya? Hmm. it looks like for the
moment I cannot think of anything else, so
I guess it’s time for me to begin my search
back through all that I’ve written here for
a word or phrase that I can use for the
title for today’s brand new poem. So it’s
away I go to that place of my recollection
that I always like to call RECOLLECT
VILLE. I think I found a somewhat decent
title, but now I’ve gotta write something
using it. LOL Wish me luck. Here goes.

Another Month

A time of day,
an hour passed
another month
has shadows cast.
The minutes fly,
or so they seem
some as nightmares,
some as dream.
An episode
that finds its place
with aroma
and a taste.
Another month
will come unto
to display then
another view.
So with heartbeats
gathered around
another month
shows solid ground.
With some prayerful
times accord
another month
is great The Lord.
Time will pass on
leaving still
echoes surely
of our will.
So make effort
to make good
another month
the way you should.

So OK, there ya go. I hope that makes at
least a little sense to you hehehe. I had to
read it back to myself to find out what all
I had written hehehe. I do this thing called
automatic writing and I just tune into my
memories and begin writing. It’s my gift
from God. You do know that most of the
time I write all 10 poems and 22 haiku in
the same day in a matter of a few hours 🙂
God gave me this gift and I am using it to
the best of my ability. When He wants me
to do more, I’m sure He will let me know
in some manner or form and He will give
me the ability to do so. Now, to see if I’ve
forgotten to tell you anything. Oh yea,
please keep my bro Mark Green in your
prayers. He’s has blood clots in his leg
and in his lungs. He is scheduled to go
for surgery in the next few days. Take
care bud. God is in control. Keep the
faith dude. Love ya bro. Now I guess
I’ve told you about everything that needs
to be told, so I reckon it’s time for me
to tell you what I tell you most every week
and that is, I wrote some more poems
and haiku. Yep, 10 more poems and
22 more haiku for all of the haiku lovers
out there. I hope you can find 1 or the
other that you like or maybe even both.
So, now it’s time for me to begin my
search for that hardly elusive off switch,
but not before I wish you a wonderful
weekend or whatever’s left of it and a
truly blessings filled week. Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too. Now
to find that off switch. Hehehe I think
I see movement from behind my Advair.
LOL you would think out of all these
years, you would be able to hide better
than that, wouldn’t ya? Well, maybe
not 😉 Anyways, guess what hehehehe,
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill, Judy, Benny, Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Clouds With Color

A sky of beauty
like no other
are sometimes
some clouds with color.
With flavored sights
far and wide
clouds with color
coincide.
Mesmeric feelings
come so sweet
clouds with color
look good to eat.
Tasty morsels
find our gaze
clouds with color
blue inlays.
The blue sky filters
what we see
clouds with color
given free.

Silence Between Thoughts

With just but a fraction
of time that we see
we might just be thinking
what others agree.
But yet with some minutes
some time passes by
silence between thoughts
as ones wonder why.
Many might question us
what we think is right
with silence as wording
within every sight.
Silence between thoughts
might right now seem brief,
but others that read you
have doubting belief.
So if all your pauses
are how you reply
remember the truth might
live in your eye.

Indigo Dragonfly

Those days I remember
fishing on the shore
of a little tiny pond
from a time I adore.
An indigo dragonfly
fluttered and flew
across the tiny pond
right there in my view.
Its colors so magical
seeming as a dream
having blue and violet
to bond in the scene.
The colors would shine on
in the bright sun rays
while my Pawpaw and I
fished on summer days
I watched it for hours
as its wings fluttered by
that blessing from God
the indigo butterfly.

Pages Dog-Eared

Our living journal
that so many see
might have a few dog-ears
a frazzled degree.
Pages dog-eared
to remember a day
we can remember
a wonderful way.
Yet many pages
might not be so great
as pages dog-eared
found as just fate.
Maybe a scenario
that turned out bad
times you remember
things you once had.
Those pages dog-eared
might then in turn
become as your journal
with lessons to learn.

A Fresh Wind

Mornings breathing
winds to find
with a fresh wind
time to time.
A fresh wind blowing
in with style
bringing in
a little smile.
Smiles from winter
morning makes
over valleys,
over lakes.
A fresh wind might have
scenes of white
snowflakes falling
there in sight.
With a fresh wind
might be seen
what that might be
someone’s dream.

A Marble Sky

Paintings painted
white and blue
up above me
now are true.
A wondrous sky
with twirling scenes
brings to sight
so many things.
Clouds as billows
floating on
seen as marble
till they’re gone.
So much artwork
filled with blue
with a wonderful,
whitish hue.
God’s Own brushstrokes
then apply
more within a
marble sky.

Angel Of Dawn

With dreams upon midnight
the minutes move on
displaying by morning
an angel of dawn.
Maybe as a flower
that blooms in your sight,
or maybe a person
that you so delight.
An angel of dawn
might be as a friend
or maybe someone
that times transcend.
Often our angels
are not seen at all,
but yet they’re there
to help when you fall.
You might awaken
with life that is gone
and find the answers from
an angel of dawn.

A Misguided Duck

With winters winds blowing
a misguided duck
starts on his journey
late without luck.
Headed the wrong way
which way he’s going
a misguided duck
heads right where it’s snowing.
He flies through the air
in a misguided style
headed the wrong way
then all the while.
The misguided duck
has left the flock
to seek a summertime
southern dock.
Yet this most surely
misguided duck
within his journey
is flat out of luck.

Many Colors

You and I
we might exclaim
many colors
not the same,
but within us
you and I
are God’s children
by and by.
Many colors,
many see,
but they do not
show who’s me.
It’s what’s inside
that is found
which connects us,
common ground.
So quit hating
them and I.
Find God’s love
to then apply.
Different beliefs
are a choice,
true that should
be as their voice,
but those choices
do not make
you and I
a big mistake.
What you think
might not be right,
for the darkness
hides the light.
Let God’s love
to show the way
what to do
and what to say.
Many colors
might transcend,
but they can be
your best friend.

Interlude

Those times between
the moments there
will sometimes seem
what are not fair.
An interlude
of humps and holes
that make real rough
our daily goals.
We might be found
without a clue
of now and then
the interlude.
So many things
from in-between
might seem as times
nightmarish dream.
Yet some moments
we’ve misconstrued,
might just be
an interlude.

Haiku
for Feb 6, 2016

A wasteful moment
is a time without effort,
waiting for others.

Weeding of gardens
does not guarantee they’re gone,
for some might linger.

Belonging to one
does not prevent ownership
of yet another.

Catastrophic times
often come with some lessons
to be later found.

Making all right turns
will create a true circle
that comes back to now.

Photo images
only display what all you saw
and not the texture.

As a flower grows
it displays many moments
gathered throughout time.

Beyond the night air
holds a place for memories
found within our mind.

A dream comes alive
when the truth connects to it
making it as real.

A shadow of time
can become an entity
leaving our footprints.

Buds of a flower
hold life deep within each one
to open up in spring.

Disclosed emotions
can sometimes turn out badly,
so take heed your words.

The grass might look dead,
but it thrives beneath the ground
to be mowed in spring.

Wintertime’s snowflakes
come as angels from Heaven
to cover the ground.

Radiant beauty
is the sun as it glimmers
a warm sunny day.

Dreaming of passion
will not make it to be true,
for it takes action.

The vibe of liars
is a trait within themselves
that began as seed.

Life has a flavor
that many find as sour
due to their choices.

A lions own roar
might scare itself in darkness
if it’s thought alone.

The needs of others
may look to you as weakness,
but they are our lives.

The haves and have nots
envelop our existence
as many will fade.

Mild mannered people
will sometimes hide their true selves,
which are much stronger.
