ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends
and
HAPPY NEW YEAR

It’s been a wild passed year.  So many
things have happened,  but for the most
part it wasn’t all that bad.  Yesterday was
a bad day though.  Judy’s younger brother
Ricky had a heart attack and now he’s in
the Bangor hospital in ICU.  He isn’t doing
well at all.  Judy was going to go down to
be with him last night,  but it was snowing
pretty good.  It didn’t stop snowing until
around 10 or 11 this morning.  Judy has
headed down to Bangor now to check on
Ricky and be with him.  The boys and me
are going to spend the day together,  being
it wouldn’t of been a good idea to go and
bring them,  because Judy might stay over
night.  Anyways,  Judy promised me she’d
call and keep me informed how he’s doing
and all.  I took the boys outside for a bit
of a roll in the snow.  I took a few pictures
of them and then brought out my camera
tripod and got a couple of selfies of me
and them together in the snow.  We’re
making the best of it.  Judy just sent me
a Facebook message saying Ricky is in
worse shape today.  Yesterday his kidneys
were shutting down.  What a way to start
off the new year.  We’ve been expecting
it though.  Anyways,  on to another topic.
I had to let the boys out a minute ago LOL.
They were both wanting to go outside and
potty and play in the snow and I’m sensing
more playing in the snow.  Benny loves to
climb snow mounds and sit on top.  King
of the hill I guess he feels like hehehehe.
Rocky just bounces around having fun.
I might need to check to see if they are
ready to come back in,  so I’ll be back in
a minute.  I’m back.  They were waiting
at the front door 🙂  I just called my mom
up to tell her the news on Ricky.  Judy
just posted a message that she thinks she
may have to spend the night at the hospital.
I hope not,  but it’s in God’s Hands.  I’m
sure whatever happens will be what that
is supposed to happen.  LOL Rocky is
right behind me wanting me to play with
him.  If I play with him every time he wants
me to,  I’ll never get this journal finished 🙂
Now he’s lying down right under me.  He’s
worried about Mom/Judy.  Benny is in the
living room watching the front door.  They
both know something’s wrong.  I might go
outside with them and  play with them after
I finish this.  Of course it’ll be dark then,
but that’s what our outside solar sensor
motion detection lights are for LOL.  Yep,
they come in handy.    LOL when the boys
are out and I don’t see them at the front
door I’ll call them and watch the sensor
lights come on one at time as they pass
by them headed for the front door LOL.
It amazes us how well behaved these two
boys are.  Milo our RIP beloved was also
very well behaved.  We see a lot of Milo
in Rocky.  Of course a Shih Tzu is closely
related to a Lhasa Apso and Milo was a
Lhasa Apso and Rocky is a Shih Tzu 🙂
Life at the Pearce’s Place continues on.
There’s not much that has gone on other
than of course the obvious.  Other wise
I’m still doing my picture poems and Judy
is still painting.  The boys are still ornery
as ever LOL.  Right now they’re both in
the living room watching the front door in
hopes of seeing mom/Judy come home 🙂
But,  from the way things are looking,  it
doesn’t look like she’ll be coming home
tonight.  So,  it looks like it’s gonna be a
quiet night tonight.  There’s not much on
TV worth watching other than maybe a few
game shows such as Family Feud LOL.
I might just work on some picture poems.
Well,  as you can tell our New Year has
begun at a wobbly pace.  Our driver side
car door handle broke again just like it did
last winter LOL.  The inside door handle
works fine,  it’s just the outer door handle
that will not work.  Now once again we’ve
gotta open the door from the passenger
side and reach over and open the driver
side door LOL.  Hopefully we can afford
to get it fixed this week,  AGAIN.  That’s
life,  if there were never any problems
then we would overlook the good times.
God has been good to us and for that I
am grateful.   So I reckon it’s time for me
to begin my journey back through all that
I have written here to see if I can find a
good word or phrase that I can use for
the title for today’s brand new poem 🙂
So,  it’s away I go to that place of my
recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I  may
have found a decent title not too far
back in my rambling.  Now to see if I
can do anything with it.  Here goes…

Hopes Of Seeing

A timeless place
with memories
becomes the face
of deep blue seas.
All the moments
we remember
we hope to see
a burning ember.
Yet, some moments
lose their stride
as the minutes
are applied.
But some echoes
times record
become a ship
to climb aboard.
Hopes of seeing
distant days
timeless scenes
another phase.
Often pathways
that we view
are not what
we needed do.
So God gives
another door
a moments time
to then explore.
Heartbeats beating
then and there
hopes of seeing
timeless prayer.

Well,  there ya go.  I hope the poem made
at least a little sense to you.  Also I hope my
rambling didn’t bore ya too much.  Hopefully
there are not too many typos in this.  Judy
isn’t here to help me read through it.  I can’t
think of much else to tell you.  I’ve told you
about all I can think of that anybody would
want to hear about LOL.  I guess it’s time
now for me to be telling you what I tell you
almost every week and that is,  I wrote some
more poems and haiku.  Yeppers I wrote 10
more poems with an added 2 due to yea ole
picture poems.  I also wrote a New Years
phrase that I also made into a picture poem.
There are 4 Christmas poems out of all of
that which ups the count of poems to 12
or 13 if ya wanna count the phrase hehehe.
Also I wrote once again 22 haiku for all
of the haiku lovers out there.  I hope you
can find at least 1 or 2 of either or both
that you like.  Now I believe it’s time for
me to try to find that ornery off switch,
but not before I wish you all a wonderful
week and a Happy New Year.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  Now to
find that dad gum poor at hiding off switch.
LOL,  you’ve gotta be kidding.  You’ve
had TWO weeks to look for a good hiding
spot being I didn’t look for ya last week
because of Christmas.  Once again,  you
have hidden behind my respirator that
I use  quite often,  not to mention it’s
a tad smaller than you.   I can see you 🙂
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S  A link to our brand new book
Pearce’s Poetry Pictures
is at the end of the journal along
with all of the others.  Enjoy 🙂

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10+2+1 phrase and 22 hehehehehe 🙂

A Christmas Drive

One winter’s day
that I remember
we took a drive
amidst December.
A Christmas drive
for us to see
the sights around
God given free.
Bridges crossed
and scenes arose
a Christmas drive
a scenic road.
With snow perceived
at every sight
the minutes gave
a view of white.
The blessings grew
as wheels went round
a Christmas drive
of sight and sound.
We sung to songs
on the radio
as time went on
in Christmas snow.
Many minutes
would surely pass
as we drove on,
but not too fast.
Each little view
would come alive
with wondrous things
a Christmas drive.

Bridge Of Winter

Lasting memories
found in my frame
display the moments
I remember by name.
That bridge of winter
with Christmas lights
displayed in seasons
of coldest nights.
We often see it
as a moment in time
a scene remembered
of a Christmas sign.
The bridge of winter
is a timeless view
painted with snow
as a river runs through.
Some cold icy waters
are found down below
the bridge of winter
all covered with snow.
Time is a doorway
to seasons to come
as the bridge of winter
sees each setting sun.
Momentous stages
of Christmas divine
are a bridge of winter
to a wondrous design.

Without Moving

Standing watching
never moving
often leaves ones
always losing.
Time will tick on
never fear
without moving
from yesteryear.
Yet our actions
dusk to dawn
display shadows
then and gone.
So just standing
watching life,
you might also
fill with strife.
Without moving
not even trying
you might just be
daily dying.

A Place To Eat

Blinding sunshine
snow of white
hinders vision
such a sight.
Searching truly
place and time
a place to eat
that we can find.
A scenic drive
to many places
a moments time
with smiling faces.
We drive on
while seeking true
a place to eat
to come in view.
Then a glimpse of
something’s seen
a place to eat
that’s all agleam.
Snowy walkways
to find a seat
within the walls
a place to eat.

Autumn’s Journey

With color schemes
of orange and brown
and more colors
as we look around.
The door of autumn
opens real wide
for a journey seen
on an autumn drive.
It tells a story
with words to see
the painted colors
God’s given free.
Autumn’s journey
is a great design
for ones to seek
and ones to find.
It is but a page
of momentous views
sometimes as greens,
sometimes as blues.
Autumns journey
is a wondrous thing
found in amazement
colors that sing.

Another Turn

With winter’s while
comes snow to see
another turn
a slight degree.
A seasons play
on stage to find
a certain scene
of Christmas time.
Another turn
displays a style
where time becomes
a moment’s mile.
Connected paths
to then and there
another turn
displays its flair.
A pinkish scene
with awesome hue
is seen within
the sky of blue.
Time becomes
a moments ride
another turn
to coincide.

Two Boys In The Snow

As the snow falls
our four legged boys
play with the snowflakes
just like they are toys.
They love to roll around
in white snow so deep
and when they get tired
go inside to sleep.
Two boys in the snow
are brothers so true,
yet of different breeds
but love is true blue.
They head out to play
when snow’s falling down
and they run side by side
as they bounce all around.
They get so excited
when I come out to play
that they jump joyfully
in nighttime or day.
The snow is their calling
as they run to and fro
our four legged friends
two boys in the snow.

Wintertime Fun

Snowflakes falling
as children sing
displays a picture,
an ice skating ring.
A frozen pond
with ice so thick
that children will play
with a hockey stick.
Some will fall down
as others will play
wintertime fun
in a wintertime way.
A snowman waves
with sticks as arms
and a fat snow belly
with wintertime charms.
The day finds end
as day turns to night
while wintertime fun
seeks for new daylight.

Christmas Nights

Through the darkness
lights portray
seasons glimmers
Christmas day.
Lights with colors
a wonderful scene
Christmas nights,
red,  blue and green.
In the shadows
there might be found
a manger scene,
snow falling down.
Those great times
of seasonal days
become the essence
of glorious ways.
Jesus as a baby
in an animal stall
Christmas nights
for us one and all.

Midnight Moonlight

A starry night
as a river flows
displays a picture
the moon bestows.
A snowy time
with trees of green
midnight moonlight
such a scene.
A painted moment
brushstrokes find
a midnight sight
an awesome time.
The river seems
to flow out of sight
amidst the time
midnight moonlight.

Winter Fisher

A bird of blue
and orangish hue
is painted in
a dream come true.
A winter fisher
king of a name
displays a story
that times attain.
A bird of feathers
is in a scene
a kingfisher found
awaiting spring.
But now he’s painted
a moment in time
a winter fisher
a scenes design.
Watching snowflakes
fall on his face
the winter fisher
must then embrace.
The scenes he sees
a dreaming wisher
the bird of blue
is the winter fisher.

Cold Winter’s Night

A distant farm
with some small homes
is found displayed
where deer will roam.
A scenic sky
a painted dream
a snow filled bank
and rushing stream.
A cold winter’s night
is surely exposed
as a wonderful scene
the painter proposed.
Created with paint,
but thought intertwined
a cold winter’s night
the painter designed.
Scenes of moonlight
and twinkling stars
are often confused
for Venus and Mars.
A cold winter’s night
becomes such a place
found by the painter
a time to embrace.

Happy New Year

A person that thinks they are nobody
is somebody just like in the middle of
nowhere is somewhere.  It all has a place
and a personal experience.  It’s just how
we view them.  So,  we are all somebody
and we are always somewhere.

Make the new year a time where you are
a better person located in a better place.

Haiku
for Dec 31,  2016

Beyond a moment
lives many expectations
that might be a dream.

Zest of a morning
can encounter some speed bumps
and breed much despair.

The future will live
no matter if we screw up,
but it might be bad.

Roots of a flower
drink the Earth from down below
and holds fast to change.

Living in a moment
might challenge reality,
for moments will pass.

Time is a threshold
to cross or yet not to cross,
for the choice is ours.

Nearing a tunnel
a light might be clearly seen
that looks like the past.

Scenes of arrival
might be a moments despair
for unwanted things.

The life of a rose
begins with a mere  seedling
and death spreads its seeds.

Within a second
holds many thoughts encountered
to move or stand still.

Inside a heartbeat
lives the emotions of life
as hopes beginnings.

Challenging people
could become your kryptonite
for they might be strong.

Inside the minds eye
lives the things we cannot see,
but yet they exist.

Purpose for pleasure
often becomes only lies
and pleasure is lost.

Staring at the sky
watching starlight to twinkle
will put ones to sleep.

Our life’s momentum
is controlled by emotions
that often turn gray.

Wintertime’s journey
is a pathway through Christmas
that ones dream of white.

Solitude’s memoir
lives as a purposeful time
that many find true.

Various people
become who they’re meant to be
and others just thrive.

Points of a turnstile
might become places to leave,
to return no more.

The essence of love
is a glimmer of hopeful
that lives within us.

Repeating a lie
without checking for its truth
will make you the liar.
