ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s another day and another week gone by.
Yeppers,  it looks like we survived another
few days into February LOL.  This year is
proving to be a bumpy one,  but hopefully it
will smooth out soon.  Judy and I have been
working on volume 2 of our book.  It seems
to be giving a bit trouble with the PDF and
all,  but I’m sure Judy will get it done so I
can upload it to the site and begin making
it into a book.  We haven’t sold a lot of our
first book,  but we have hopes on it to one
day become a hit 🙂  The same with Judy’s
many other books that she has written.  Yep,
the Pearce’s Place is a busy little place 🙂
Benny and Rocky are in here right now in
their little doggy beds.  They just came back
inside just a moment ago from going potty.
We got a little bit of snow today.  It began
real early this morning,  although it didn’t
snow anything of any grand detail.  It’s
still white outside and cold none the less.
It’s 27 F degrees right now.  Still not near
what it’s been in the past on this day LOL.
I haven’t done any new conga drumming
videos lately.  LOL when I say lately,  I
mean this year.  I will though maybe in
the next few days or weeks or so do a new
video.  In the mean time I think I’ll just
keep on with my writing and doing picture
poems 🙂  So,  what else is happening in
the whereabouts of our place?  Hmmm,
well,  we had 120 gallons of heating oil
delivered Wednesday and hopefully that
will hold us for a while,  being we cannot
afford any more right now.  It put our oil
tank at a half a tank added with the 39
gallons that we bought last weekend on
our little back and forth to town with 2
5 1/5 gallon cans and 1 2 1/5 gallon can.
We have our thermostat set on 60 F and
the spare room and our bedroom shut off
from the living room where the thermostat
is,  so it is only basically concerning itself
with that part of the house.  We use our
radiator heaters in the PC room and in our
bedroom when needed.  Actually the only
reason we need the heating oil is to keep
the water pipes from freezing 🙂  Though
the heat that we get in the bedroom and
bathroom with the furnace does help to
keep it warm enough.  OK,  next topic.
Last Monday I trimmed my beard a bit.
LOL many that saw a picture of me had
thought that I shaved hehehe.  Nope,  I
just trimmed it really close.  It’s already
growing back out.  My beard grows fast.
Last Tuesday Judy and I went to town
and did some shopping at Walmart 🙂
Mind you,  not much shopping because
we didn’t have that much money,  so we
only spent like about 8 dollars hehehe.
We needed a few things and we were
able to get them with the can money we
got when we returned the cans at the
redemption place.  Thank God we got
our Social Security Friday LOL.  We
went to town and paid for the kerosene
and our electric bill Friday.  Wednesday
we just hung around the house and did
odds and ends,  while Thursday I went
outside with the boys and walked out
to check the mail.   They always want to
come with me out to the mailbox,  but I
always tell them to wait for me at the
house.  Then when I got back I played
with them for a bit and we went back
inside.  Friday after we got home from
paying all the bills,  I took the boys for
a little field trip out in the snow.  They
always love to run and play in the field.
Especially when there is snow on it 🙂
I had to walk softly,  because there was
just a few inches of snow on top of about
2 foot of snow that had sort of frozen
and I didn’t want to fall through hehehe.
Benny and Rocky are light weights and
they just skimmed across it no problem.
Yes of course I took pictures as I always
do LOL.  I also took a video of them
running in the snow back to the house 🙂
We love our boys.  There’s not a day
that we don’t see God’s Hands at work
in our lives.  Judy and I were talking
just yesterday about how we connected
and the things that we have found that
we enjoy the same.  With both of us
being writers and loving photography
among the many other things that we
both enjoy doing together.  God’s hands
were busy connecting the dots 🙂  We
each may often sit and wonder if God
is looking out for us,  but if you take a
good look at the miracles in your life,
you might find the answers.  A moment
that you now see might not show clearly
the pathways that God is directing,  but
in time the truth will unfold.  Have faith
that no matter how bad things may seem
there is always a prayer that is heard
and answered.  Maybe not the answers
that you wanted,  but the answers that
were necessary.  Now I believe it’s time
for me to be taking my little journey
back through all that I’ve written here
to that place of my recollection to see
if I can find a word or phrase that I can
use for the title for today’s brand new
poem.  So,  it’s away I go that place I
always like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.
I believe I may have found a decent title
just a few lines back 🙂  Now to see if I
can do anything with it.  Here goes.

Skimmed Across

A time within,
a time without
becomes a time
that’s all about.
Scenes discovered,
scenes recalled
becomes a place
a time of auld.
Skimmed across,
skimmed afar
becomes a point
a shining star.
A person seen,
a person found
becomes someone
with time unwound.
A time of gain,
a time of loss
becomes our lives
we skimmed across.

Ok,  so it might not be one of my better
poems,  but what did you expect hehehe?
No matter,   I hope you liked it.  Also I
hope you enjoyed my rambling.  Yes my
rambling was mostly about nothing LOL,
but if I entertained you for a moment
then I did my job.  Judy’s taking a break
from working on our book.  That’s good.
We’re in no hurry.  I’m sure it will get
done some time this month 🙂  LOL I’ve
already written 13 picture poems for our
3rd book.  I guess you could say that I
write a lot huh!  Yeppers,  that’s what I
do.  You would not believe how busy my
brain stays.  It rarely gives me a break.
It seems poetry is in my veins 🙂  We’re
expecting 3-6 inches of snow Tuesday
evening.  That’s not a whole lot for us.
We will more than likely stay put here
at home.  Judy’s brother is now once
again  in the nursing home and it looks
like he will remain there.  His health
is not good.  Keep him and the family
in your prayers.  So reckon I’ve told
you about all I can think of to tell you.
Now I believe it’s time for me to tell
you what I tell you almost every week
and that is,  I wrote some more poems
and haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more poems
with an added 6 due to picture poems.
None of them are Christmas poems 🙂
LOL I’m sure I will begin writing them
again soon enough hehehe.  I did though
write once again 22 haiku for all of the
haiku lovers out there.  I hope you can
find 1 or 2 of either or both that you
like.  So now it’s time for me to begin
my search for that hardly elusive off
switch,  but not before I wish you a most
wonderful week.  Remember,  Jesus
loves you and we do too.  OK,  so where
are ya hiding this time,  ya ornery off
switch?  LOL,  I reached in my bag of
Cheetos to get Cheeto and guess who
I found.  That was surely not he greatest
place to hide.  You do know that I am
eating them,  right?  Try harder next
week 🙂  Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S  A link to our brand new book

10+6 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

A Field Of White

With snow that’s fallen
there are trails
a field of white
our dogs details.
The scene’s alive
with our two boys
that run and play
as snow employs.
They’re now seen
amidst the snow
a field of white
each way they go.
Running quickly
thereunto
a field of white
a wondrous view.
With doggy paws
and field of white
the setting sun
is blinding light.
The day’s at end
as they run home
a field of white
with winters tone.

As Time Passes

A drive to town
in winters wake
becomes a scene
for time to take.
A moments view
that comes alive
as time passes,
a winters drive.
The snow is white
with classic signs
of melting days
with passing times.
Yet the snow will
fall once more
as time passes
like before.
The seasons life
is pictured well
a timeless voyage
with great detail.
A drive to town
is such a sight
as time passes,
winters light.

Within My Mind

There is this scene
that comes to mind
a perfect place
and point in time.
A kite that flies
in the evening sky
and bird in flight
so high and dry.
Within my mind
I still can see
this sight so grand
in history.
It’s like a dream
that comes to life
a timeless view
with I and my wife.
So mesmerizing
this was found
a place and time
of sight and sound.
We saw the scenes
a point and time
that’s now just
within my mind.

Hummingbird

A tiny bird
of now and then
finds its wings
within the wind.
Flapping quickly
wings of time
are within
a painted sign.
For now seen
it is so free
a hummingbird
that I can see.
Sitting pretty
on a limb
painted thusly
nice and trim.
A hummingbird
of painted ways
sits within
a painters days.

Autumn Memories

Once while walking
autumns days
I saw colors
found in phase.
Orange and red,
yellow to brown
other colors
on the ground.
Leaves still holding
fast to gaze
in their autumn
wondrous ways.
Seasons glimmers
there in sight
become shadows
day and night.
Autumns memories
find a place
found within
a sight to taste
A lamppost stands
to light the way
autumn memories
there to gaze.

An Autumn Trail

Footsteps through
an autumn trail
display scenes
of great detail.
Colored leaves
that shine like gold
an autumn trail
that does unfold.
Pictures taken
sights to see
an autumn trail
so Heavenly.
In the pathway
time begins
seasons gaze
with autumns wind.
Time is counted
footsteps made
an autumn trail
that leaves cascade.

Trudging Through

Snow was falling
such a sight
while I trudged through
scenes of white.
Footsteps weathered
winds would wail
as I trudged on
not to fail.
Trudging through
the scenes of time
footsteps making
their design.
Bitter winds would
surely blow
as I trudged through
deeper snow.
I saw a light
within my view
our porch light
while trudging through.
It gave hope for
me to find
trudging through
to peace of mind.

Heaven Calls

Our time will pass
as God surveys
to show to us
the better days.
Yet our lives
in flesh shall be
the test through time
to eternity.
For Heaven calls
when least expected
leaving us no time
to be corrected.
So take heed now
the path you make
and do your best
for Heaven’s sake.
Lose your greed
and tarnished desire
for it will lead
to Satan’s fire.
When Heaven calls
be ready to go
with good you’ve done
on Earth below.

Leave It There

While in a moment
you might find want
a time and place
that’ll come and haunt.
Sorely with sought
through ill desires
finds many times
of morbid fires.
Seasons of lust
and unhealthy views
can create a storm
of weathered shoes.
So leave it there
the wanting array
and seek the needs
of best today.
Let God to guide
your daily path
finding your views
in His contrast
and all the times
of wanting where
give it to God
and leave it there.

The River Quest

One summer’s day
within a scene
our grandchildren
sought a stream.
The river quest
of summer’s fun
to see the sights,
the waters run.
They searched on
throughout the trees
to find the sight
with summer’s breeze.
The day was quaint,
but fun the same
the day and time
grandchildren came.
This special day
was a piece of art
a loving time
with heart to heart.
This timeless view
was the very best
our grandchildren,
the river quest.

Painted Sunrise

Morning’s started
painted true
as a sunrise
in my view.
Painted as a
day to come
risen from the
mornings sun.
A scene’s scented
with its glare
painted sunrise
none compare.
With its colors
orange and yellow
painted sunrise
seems so mellow.
Peaceful settings
found on cue
painted sunrise,
sky of blue.
With its beauty
in the eyes
seasons show
painted sunrise.

They Stood Fast

Inside a gaze
is found in white
two dogs standing
there in sight.
They stood fast
to look around
while upon
the snowy ground.
These two dogs
they look to see
the sight of you,
the sight of me.
Within their gaze
they saw each other
they stood fast
brother to brother.
The scene became
a time to view
a loving time
a wondrous hue.
They are so sweet
a scene to cast
loving brothers
they stood fast.

Our Life Begins

Beside ourselves
we often stand
now and then
hand in hand.
Our life begins
with times awake
becoming aware
of each mistake.
The lessons grow
from times begun,
things we’ve said
and things we’ve done.
Time is essence
with memories
scented with
a lifelong breeze.
The minutes pass
with loss and wins
but each day
our life begins.

A Ship Of Time

As memories grow
and seasons display
a ship of time
heads on its way.
The shore of life
is in its mirror
and out to sea
is getting clearer.
A ship of time
with oceans waves
is sought to find
the distant days.
With seagulls flight
among the rails
the ship of time
most surely sails.
The memories
become a view
a ship of time
in a sea of blue.
The voyage begins
as moments mind
the view I see
a ship of time.

Sunrise Scene

One day upon
a beach of sand
I found myself
a sight so grand.
A sunrise scene
from times array
that brought to me
new life that day.
It seemed a book
of Heavens page
turned to find
a wondrous stage.
This fine chapter
from God sincere
with sights I saw
and things I’d hear.
A sunrise sky
was life’s romance
with memories
of song and dance.
The waves of time
were like a dream
this fine time
a sunrise scene.

Within The Clouds

The scope of time
is counted there
within the clouds
that none compare.
A scenic sign,
a minds creation
within the clouds
is motivation.
It might become
an artists view
of a painting
amidst the blue.
Within the clouds
a storm might be
that now is found
not clear to see.
Our perceptions
might become
within the clouds
the dimmest sun,
but the scene
might hide away
within the clouds
a better day.
One with portions
raindrops fall
seen as doorways
that we recall.
Yet a moment
might be shrouds
God’s true love
within the clouds.

Haiku
for Feb 4,  2017

Beyond our vision
there is imagination
that can come alive.

A flowers beauty
is not just of its color,
but its aroma.

Beneath the night skies
there is a life full of dreams
awaiting our sleep.

Footprints in the snow
might show of a true pathway,
but not direction.

A mind that is lost
can be found with decisions
to choose the right path.

A moments surprise
can become a heart attack
or blessing of life.

Tomorrow will come
no matter what’s done today,
but you can change it.

A long waiting line
gives time to prepare yourself
and to change your path.

A butterfly’s flight
begins when it is transformed
and it crawls no more.

With life’s glancing blow
a purpose can be evolved
that time had hidden.

The storms of seconds
often pass by like hours
as they are noticed.

Searching for a dream
will maybe display nightmares
disguised as your dreams.

Looking through windows
will often show you a lie
that’s only a thought.

Sometimes emotions
can create many problems
that were never there.

Believing or not
in something you cannot see
brings true facts alive.

A hassle free life
will only make you weaker
for you have not learned.

Clouds that create things
are found in our desires
what to imagine.

A seasons rain cloud
brings forth a new beginning
that many never see.

A moments crisis
might become as a blessing
that woke you from sleep.

Someone’s neediness
can envelop your lifestyle
and suffocate you.

Beyond our thinking
holds a life that can be true,
but we never tried.

A new tomorrow
begins with a new today
to release baggage.
