ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

This passed week has been fairly decent
aside from being a slight cold.  The high
for Saturday was -3 F degrees LOL. Not
too bad.  It snowed a little off and on
last week.  Judy and I went to the dollar
Tree last Monday and browsed for her
some craft stuff.  We like to shop at the
Dollar Tree store.  They usually have a
lot of good stuff that we can afford LOL.
The weather has been on a wintery scale.
Last Tuesday I let the boys out and they
wanted to go running in the field of snow
and so they headed out.  Of course they
wanted me to come with them,  but my
weight presented a problem LOL.  The
top layer of the snow was frozen solid,
and the boys could run right over it,  but
with my 225,  it began cracking.  I went
out as far as I could before the ice broke
and I fell through where there was a fresh
layer of snow on top that had insulated it.
The snow was about 2 or 3 foot deep LOL.
I had to crawl out of it to where the top
layer was still frozen solid and then walk
real softly back to the house.  Hehehe,
Rocky came running to me when I broke
through.  Benny just sort of watched me
from a distance 🙂  Anyways,  I said,  time
to go home and they both headed back to
the house stopping ever so often to look
back and see if I was coming.  I couldn’t
walk fast being I had to be easy not to
break the top layer of ice.  LOL When
I was walking out to them,  I heard a
loud BOOM where the ice underneath
complained about my weight hehehehe.
Anyways,  we made it back to the house
with me only busting through the ice
a couple of times before getting on solid
ground hehehe.  Yep,  life with these
boys is never boring.  They tried to go
out in the field again Thursday,  but I
hollered,  NO and they turned around
to see me.  I hollered a couple of more
times and they came running back home.
I knew I couldn’t go out there with them
then after it had snowed a bit.  There
was a fresh layer of snow over the once
frozen snow and I would of surely fell
through LOL.  Yeppers,  I had walked
out to the mail and when walking back,
they thought I was going to walk out in
the field,  but no way Jose.  So that was
pretty much for us.  Judy drove up to
Eagle Lake to check on her mom that
day and I saw on my computer weather
radar that she was driving right into some
snow squalls and was going to have to
drive through them on the way back home.
I was really worried about her,  but she
made it there and back safely.  She said
there was times that she only drove about
20 MPH being it was too bad to drive any
faster.  We’re expecting a Nor’easter to
hit us Tuesday afternoon and it looks as
though it’ll last until Thursday around
noon.  A Nor’easter in our case is a bad
snowstorm.  So it looks like we’re gonna
get some more snow.  It could change,
but at this moment it looks as though it
is headed our way.  Right now it’s 16 F
degrees at 6 PM.  I guess being that’s as
warm as it got today,  that was the high.
Our grandson Christian came Friday
to spend the weekend with us.  We all
headed to Walmart shortly after he got
here to try and find him a cord for his
tablet,  but we couldn’t find one.  He
forgot to bring his charging cord with
him when he came.  Anyways,  I went to
Amazon.com and found him one and
ordered it so it will be here the next time
he comes and forgets his cord hehehe.
Judy is over at her desk painting and
Christian is right behind me on his cell
phone watching gaming videos.  His
mom should be here any minute now
to pick him up.  We always enjoy him
coming to spend time with us.  These
days will surely be missed when he gets
to the age that he no longer wants to
spend time with Grandma and Gramps.
He’s gone now and Judy has gone back
to painting.  Christian is pretty good at
drawing.  He drew a couple of pictures.
Judy gave him some colored pencils
and some paper to take home with him
and do some more drawing.  I’m still
better at doing picture poems.  Using
our pictures and Judy’s paintings for
poems.  It seems to be one of my knack’s.
Anyways,  on with the day.  Right now
at 6:50 PM it’s 14 F degrees.  Yep,  it’s
getting colder.  So,  as far as yesterday
(Saturday) is concerned,  we spent a
lot of the day watching silly Youtube
videos and Christian tried his hand
at artwork.  We also watched a few
game shows together.  I hope he comes
back soon.  We can see God’s blessings
all throughout our lives.  He has surely
blessed our home.  🙂  It may be cold up
here,  but the warmth of Jesus is great.
LOL the warmth of this hot chocolate
that I fixed me a little bit ago is also
pretty nice 🙂  Anyways,  that’s about
all I have for now.  I guess it’s time
for me to begin my little journey back
through all that I’ve written here to
see if I can find a good word or phrase
that I can use for the title for today’s
brand new poem.  So,  it’s away I go
to that place of my recollection that
I always like to call RECOLLECT
VILLE.  I think I found me a fairly
decent title less than a third of the
way from the beginning of all of my
rambling hehehe.  Now to see if I can
do anything with it.  Here goes.

Headed Back

Time will echo
there and to
things we find
our daily view.
Some might even
find their place
headed back
a journey’s race.
Allowing times
of long ago
to be repeated
might not flow.
For we’ve changed,
within the view,
even though
we think not true.
Sometimes moments
railroad track
is not so good
when headed back.

There ya go.  I hope you liked the poem
and maybe even understood it hehehehe.
Also I hope you enjoyed my rambling 🙂
Hopefully I didn’t bore ya to tears and
I brought you a smile.  There’s not much
else to tell you.  Life here at the Pearce’s
Place is most times fairly peaceful.  Judy
with her painting and drawing and me
with my poetry.  Of course Benny and
Rocky create a little excitement from
time to time hehehe.  So,  it looks like
it’s time for me to be telling you what
I tell you almost every week and that is,
I wrote some more poetry and haiku.
Yeppers,  10 more poems,  but with a
few extras.  Yep,  3 extras which ups
the count to 13 with 1 of them being
a Christmas poem LOL.  I also once
again wrote 22 more haiku for all of
the haiku lovers out there.  I hope you
can find 1 or 2 of either or both that
you like.  Now I believe it’s time for
me to begin my search for that not
so great at hiding off switch,  but not
before I wish you a most wonderful
blessings filled week.  Hopefully you
remembered daylight savings time
and moved your clock up an hour if
of course where you are you do that.
Remember,  Jesus loves you and we
do too.  Now,  where is that dadgum
off switch hiding this time?  LOL 🙂
you have to be kidding me hehehehe.
Hiding behind my cup of hot cocoa.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

Lighthouse Of Sea

Stories of an ocean
symbolic of the sea
are often the pictures
of our history.
A lighthouse picture
in a photo frame
painted with passion
for times to attain.
A heartfelt moment
a scene that’s contrived
is painted with love
as each wave arrived.
Artwork of memories
becomes such a phase
with a lighthouse of sea
of so distant days.
Moonlight shimmering
in a awesome degree
gives forth a painting
lighthouse of sea.

A Snow Filled Hill

A boy and sled
on a snow filled hill
await to slide down
with dreams to fulfill.
Two dogs upon it
the sled full of hope
seek to begin their
slide down the slope.
The little boy sees
the time to begin
for him to jump on
and slide with them.
A snow filled hill
to a wintery dream
with the dogs and him
and hearts all agleam.
The time is arrived
for them to fulfill
their snowy ride down
a snow filled hill.

Christmas Memoir

Wintertime’s drive
down a old snowy road
displays all the scenes
that Christmas bestowed.
A house in the snow
with seasons of white
a Christmas memoir
of a magical sight.
Remembering songs
that Christmas entails
with rekindled love
of snowflakes set sail.
A picture I’ve taken
becomes great to see
a Christmas memoir
so happy and free.
With a photo taken
one day from our car
I can now recall
a Christmas memoir.

Frozen River

One day a journey
through the snow
I came upon
a river flow.
Ice was melting
I could see
this frozen river
timelessly.
The winters grip
was losing hold
this frozen river
oh so cold.
Seasons threshold
showed its face
in the rivers
time and place.
Frozen river
time to time
found its form
in winters sign.
Though the ice
was melting fast
frozen river
days would last.
With a moments
ice display
frozen river’s
on its way.
A winter voyage
to seasons sight
frozen river
winter white.

Snoopy’s Kite

One day with a breeze
and beagle in sight
this dog named Snoopy
was flying his kite.
He laid down to rest
with his kite flying true
as he dreamed of the sky
a deep shade of blue.
He held to the string
with a tight pawed grip
made sure while sleeping
his grip wouldn’t slip.
He looked up to see
this momentous flight
that was held by a string
onto Snoopy’s kite.

Winter’s Bridge

A snow filled ground
and scenic ridge
is found displayed
with winter’s bridge.
The river flowing
is frozen in time
creating a picture
of a bridge so divine.
The bridge gives way
for many to cross
and look down below
at the ice frozen gloss.
Reflecting the clouds
as the ice displays
with winter’s bridge
of day after day.
The weather procures
its dynamic sight
with winter’s bridge
of day and night.
The scene comes alive
as a passionate view
with winter’s bridge
of old and anew.

Water Flowing

Winters cascade
waterfall
water flowing
springs to call.
Seasons journey
comes to view
water flowing
fresh and new.
Ice is melting
winters ways.
Spring is coming
with its phase.
Moments display
counted scenes
water flowing
just like dreams.
Like a story
times unfold
water flowing
like the old.
Winters pathway
time’s bestowing
comes with ice melt
water flowing.

Evening Glow

With but a second
an hour of day
the evening glow
begins its display.
Then as the minutes
gather in time
the evening glow
finds its design.
Seeming as painted
in the evening sky
the glow represents
how moments fly by.
The moon soon is seen
as an evening parade
along with the stars
of a timeless cascade.
With but a second
the moments bestow
the lesser of light
in the evening glow.

An Ocean Dream

When waters speak
about their time
they might sound
like rhythm rhyme.
An ocean dream
with a little boat
rocks in waves
to churn and float.
Without a captain
at its helm
it sits and waits
within the realm.
The waters taunt
and tease about
an ocean dream
without a doubt.
But the boat
still looks ahead
through the scene
a moments thread.
Between the hills
it sees the gate
an ocean dream
that it can’t wait.

Tides Of Thought

Lessons favor
mornings waves
seen within the
summer days.
The tide comes in
with many things
and then goes out,
the ocean sings.
Tides of thought
are night and day
times they come
and go away.
Waves will speak
an oceans mind,
tides of thought
their own design.
The wind will blow
in many ways
that often sounds
just like the waves.
An oceans life
cannot be bought,
the life and times
tides of thought.

Morning Sun

Beyond the ocean
time begins
the morning sun
and summer winds.
The day unleashes
things to see
a morning sun
so wondrously.
With the minutes
time is found
morning sun shown
on the ground.
For with sunshine
comes a view
Heaven’s blessings
sea of blue.
Seasons gather
finding frame
as morning sun
finds more to gain.
Life is growing
in the scene
morning sun then
like a dream.

Losing The Day

As our lives finds growth
it also then dies
with all of the gadgets
that science applies.
So many lose grasp
of our own humanity
as the daily net portal
envelops you and me.
So many cell zombies
just walking around
finding themselves
without common ground.
The minutes tick onwards
as they meet their demise
as technology leaves us
found in disguise.
Not knowing our truth
and our God given way
ones walk with their cells
while losing the day.

A Day’s Display

With grasses of green
and a sky of blue
a day’s display
is a magical hue.
Some clouds float by
and create a scene
in the true blue sky
and grasses of green.
Each minute passes
with life to attain
some within sunshine,
some within rain.
A day’s display
is an ocean of time
found within beauty
and love so divine.
Yet many people
lose sight of it all
and a day’s display
they find they appall.
So don’t let your life
to just fade away
and miss everything
a day’s display.

Haiku
for Mar 9,  2017

Between the pages
holds stories that ones don’t read
because of hurry.

Life is a flower
that often loses focus
due to no water.

Without our problems
we would not have any growth,
for problems are seeds.

Shadows of our lives
are found within the structure
of our family.

Allowing storm clouds
to find refuge in your life
will cause you much rain.

Beneath the ocean
holds a world we’ll never know
unless we dive down.

Space is a venture
that many seek ones like us
and not of other.

As heartbeats unite
they have a chance for growing,
yet some fall apart.

A house full of lies
will only flourish despair
as truth is exposed.

Life without passion
finds only the minimum
of what life can be.

A summer shower
is more than just of water,
for it gives us life.

Belief without sight
needs you to not be with doubt
but open minded.

Life is a journey
that many will lose their way
through times illusions.

Without a window
we might just sit and just dream
of what we can see.

So many people
become doormats to others
because of their fear.

Glancing at someone
you might not see who they are,
but have assumptions.

A leaf that’s blowing
could end up on a journey
that leads to nowhere.

Challenges of life
are the tools to help us grow
and not grow stagnant.

Displayed in moment
our lives might seem without hope,
but prayer can help.

Counting the minutes
will only make them longer
while you are waiting.

Long awaited dreams
can change as you grow older
and become nightmares.

Many perceptions
can turn into confusion
as fact’s fall away.
