Rain And Thunder

Hello my friends

I hope you have been doing well.  Judy and
I have been getting ready for our trip down
south sometime this month.  We have a lot of
preparing to do,  such as figure out if we can
afford it LOL.  Hehehe we’ll be OK.  I can’t
wait,  but wait I must until we designate when
we will leave.  Our landlord said he’d keep an
eye on our home for us.  I’m sure Benny and
Rocky will be tired of riding in the car after
it’s all said and done LOL.  Anyways,  onwards
with the journal.  Someone that our landlord
hired is now mowing the lawn.  It makes it a
bit hard to think being he’s right outside our
window LOL.  Oh well,  at least he’s mowing.
The grass had gotten quite high and we don’t
own a lawn mower.  We’ve got a weed eater
that’s battery operated,  but the charge on the
battery only last for about 30 minutes which
doesn’t give time to do the whole lawn even
if I were able to LOL.  Next year though we’re
planning on buying a battery operated lawn
mower that has the same battery as our snow
blower.  A 40 volt ion battery which last a lot
longer.  We’ve got 2 ion batteries so we can
always keep one on charge.  So what else is
there to talk about?  Well,  I got volume 5 of
Pearce’s Poetry Pictures finally published in
paperback and Kindle edition.  I went and
did volume 4 in Kindle edition as well and in
time I will do them all up in Kindle.  They’ll
all be available in paperback,  but I thought
that there are many that do all of their reading
on the phone,  kindle or tablets 🙂 so I figured
why not.  It’s not that much trouble.  So,  what
else is there to tell ya about the Pearce’s Place?
Judy has created some more scarves that she’s
selling.  Yes,  she’s still doing a lot of painting.
I am now working on volume 6 of my book 🙂
I wonder at times when I will run out of ideas,
but then I just continue on.  God gave me the
gift and I am using it as best that I am able.
The mowing has ceased Yeah.  I’ve got my
peaceful Natural sound going now.  It’s rivers
flowing with rain and thunder.  In my book
that’s the greatest way to relax 🙂  It makes
it so much easier to write.  Yep,  I do what
I’ve gotta do to bring some peace to this
old mind LOL.  It does get a little wound up
as time moves on and I’ve gotta find a way
to calm it down.  God has instilled upon me
a poetic wave that rolls with the tides of time.
We each have a gift from God and many times
there are ones that will have no clue at all
of what it is while they are using it every day.
The gift of compassion,  sharing,  lending an
ear and many others are gifts.  God gives us
many gifts,  but one might outshine the others
as the ones that are outshone might be the
best.  Allow God to show you who you are
and what you’re meant to be.  Look beyond
your wanting and see what is living within you.
Now I believe it’s time for me to begin my lil
journey back through all that I’ve written here
to see if I can find a good word or phrase that
I can use for the title for today’s brand new
poem.  So,  it’s away I go to that little place
of my recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I found a
fairly decent title just about a 3rd of the way
back in my rambling and I see that I’ve not
used it as of yet,  so away we go…

Rain And Thunder

Seamless visions
rolling hills
scenes might be
that time fulfills.
Rain and thunder
might be found
as an echo
peaceful sound.
Threads of nature
can multiply
bringing peace
a bird to fly.
Let God’s blessings
ease your mind
while reflecting
time to time.
Find the moments
scenes of wonder
found within the
rain and thunder.

I hope you liked the poem.  I always love to
listen to he rain and thunder.  It always brings
me peace.  The lightning also brings to me a
sense of blessings such as God’s fingers across
the sky.  I hope my rambling entertained you
as well and didn’t bore you too terribly hehehe.
Oh yea,  tomorrow (Oct 2) is mine and Judy’s
16th wedding anniversary.  Can ya believe it.
She has put up with me for 16 years and LOL
I’ve put up with her hehehe.  We enjoy doing
things together.  It’s weird that we like most
of the same things.  Of course we don’t like
all of the same things 🙂  That would be weird.
We do have our bad moments,  but for the
most part we enjoy life together.  So,  that’s
about all I’ve got for ya other than what I
tell you every week and that is,  I wrote some
more poems and haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more
poems with 4 extras and 3 Christmas poems
in the mix hehehe.  I also once again wrote
22 haiku for all of the haiku lovers out there.
I hope you can find 1 or 2 of either or both
that you like.  With that said I reckon it’s
time for me to begin my search for that off
switch that’s the worst at hiding,  but not
before I wish you a most wonderful week.
Remember,  Jesus loves you and we do too.
Okie dokie,  now where is that ornery off
switch attempting to hide this time?  Hmm,
I think I see movement from behind my
eyedrops.  Heaven’s to Betsy you silly thing.
Not only hiding behind the smallest item
in the room but also a see through bottle 🙂
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

Times And Dates

A distant road,
a mailbox passed
brings in view
what’s slow and fast.
Scenes we’ve seen
that now are gone
are now moments,
another dawn.
Times and dates
of memories
might confuse
the distant seas.
A mere mailbox
stood in time
might record
a certain mind.
Through our eyes
our heart elates
what’s remembered
times and dates.

Seconds Minutes

Through the eyes
of yesterday
time begins
another way.
Seconds counted
minutes gained
our reflections
are attained.
Seen as shadows
day and night
seconds minutes
then unite.
Joining forces
with each day
counted in
their own array.
A puppy dog
beneath a tree
might become
a fantasy,
but the moments
might find flight
as the minutes
come in sight.
Bringing truth
a loving mind
seconds minutes
point and time.
As a heartbeat’s
story told
seconds minutes
become gold.

Beyond The Path

Our lives might find
some bumpy miles
with more frowns
than that of smiles,
yet the pathways
time’s revealed
might have lessons
life’s concealed.
Beyond the path
might hold a door,
a scene a dream
with less or more.
You might just find
a rocky road
beyond the path
of young and old.
Our minds might be
of lesser stride
while time displays
a bumpy ride,
but the seasons
might display
beyond the path
a better day.

Belief In Santa

With Christmas comes
those wondrous sights
Christmas themes
that our heart delights.
Children all dreaming
of all that they’ll see
when Santa Clause puts
gifts under their tree.
They keep believing
in that jolly old guy
with a big round belly
and reindeer that fly.
They try to stay awake
to hear his great sleigh
to land on their roof
in a Christmassy way.
Their belief in Santa
is a magical thing
that then comes alive
as a song that they sing.
Songs about Santa,
his Christmas eve flight,
Here comes Santa Clause
oh what a sight.

Finding Yourself

The storms of life
reveal our souls,
things we’ve sought
through daily goals.
As minutes pass
they then conclude
the many storms
you could not elude.
A shooting star
can heighten dreams
finding yourself
in uncertain scenes.
But then the facts
might surely expose
the wrongs of life
of which you chose.
Finding yourself
as days go by
will need some help
from Adonai.

Sticks And Leaves

Signs of times
as the summers seas
might incur
as sticks and leaves.
Time’s a factor
in a counted array
as we’re striving
for day unto day.
The sticks and leaves
might seem to tell
a story of
a wishing well.
Times entanglement
might involve
a certain thought
you cannot absolve.
We’re as sticks
and leaves of time
formed by God
in His design.
Counted together
we form a hand
and then without
we cannot stand.
We need each other
to form a seed
of which that gives
our daily need.
Not letting color
or other to find
sticks and leaves
of another design.
Find the entangled
alikeness as found
sticks and leaves
with common ground.
Allowing differences
to make us strong
finding out where
we truly belong.

Endearing Dreams

The size of life
that time displays
within the times
of yesterdays
is so often seen
as larger then
endearing dreams
remembered when.
A little shack
that then was large
as sight was young,
but then in charge.
The time exposed
a wondrous find,
endearing dreams
of so divine.
A creaky door
of certain scenes
becomes a page
endearing dreams.

Fathomed Sky

Waves of oceans,
thoughts of time
become as echoes
within our mind.
Scenic doorways,
times we choose
often become as
reds and blues.
Some as fire
burning ablaze
found within our
distant days.
A fathomed sky
of times detail
often looks like
ships at sail.
The sun so bright
begins its quest
to emphasize
its very best.
Shining brightly
up so high
to make the best
a fathomed sky.

Road Of Winter

Snow upon it
many miles
road of winter
sort of smiles.
Showing scenes
a winter gaze
as a journey
of its ways.
Road of winter
brings in view
signs of life
in thereunto.
There might be
a moments sight
above the road
of Santa’s flight.
Yet the moment
might be seen
road of winter
just a dream.
Set in snowflakes
times unfold
found in winter
young and old.
Christmas scenes
of white detail
along with Santa’s
sleigh set sail.
As a journey
life will enter
Christmas dreams
a road of winter.

Life Might Be

Just a moment,
just a while,
life might be
a frown or smile.
Minutes gather
in the sand
bringing forth
a place to stand.
Life might be
but just a time,
a simple scene
within our mind.
As a tractor
sits real still
life might be
a rolling wheel.
So as seconds
move along
make your move
before it’s gone.
Let the lessons
that you see
be the best that
life might be.

Such A Sight

The slightest breeze
becomes a breath
with the minutes
more or less.
Times perception
is a wondrous view
so faraway
from me and you.
Life’s an actor
with many plays
such a sight
within its ways.
Slightest changes
in all we see
become a path
of destiny.
Such a sight
is found displayed
as we find
what God has made.
Life of beauty,
life of dreams,
life of lakes
and rushing streams.
Let your eyes
to look beyond
the miseries
from dusk to dawn.
Find the joy
that now can be
within your life
or history.
For the moments
now and past
can be greatest
shadows cast.
Such a sight
can live and breathe
if you’ll seek
to just believe.

Preparing For Flight

When in the doorways
of times sorted flight
prepare for the journey
from day unto night.
Let not the windstorms
of seasons of time
to fill you with sorrow
for what you can’t find.
Our daily flight plans
might not be correct
for we may have gotten
a path with neglect.
So if you’re seeking
a moment’s delight
make sure you’re also
preparing for flight.

The Season’s Alive

When in a memory
of times that are gone
Christmastime lives
in our minds on and on.
The season’s alive
as a magical place
remembered as times
with smiles on our face.
The joy’s encompassing
as it lives and breathes,
the season’s alive
as the falling of leaves.
Fluttering softly
a time you remember,
the season’s alive
in times of December.
For just like the pages
from a story book,
the season’s alive
just a little mistook.
We forget the reason
for the seasonal way
as we go onwards
in time day to day.
The season’s alive
as the months move on
living and breathing
to never be gone.
For by remembering
we help it survive
and that is the reason
the season’s alive.

Remember The Days

Remember the days
in playful times
when we were younger
with childhood designs.
Those summer scenes
can come to be
within our minds
as a memory.
Remember the days
when time stood still
and clouds up above
were a moments appeal.
The watery fun
of splashing about
in the summer days
we’d laugh and shout.
Maybe a boat ride
pulled right behind
on an inner tube
a magical time.
Remember the days
don’t let them die,
for they’ll be the joy
to help you get by.

When searching for life
we often seek of the same
and miss the others.

With but a breeze
life can become exciting
as the wave of flags.

Turnstiles of burdens
will often hide the problems
until you enter.

Viewing the ocean
as its waves all come ashore
can be real peaceful.

Clearing of ones throat
can mean they are congested
or just irritated.

Time is a trickster
that will make you think you’re late
when you are early.

Tomorrows journey
might of begun days ago
and left you behind.

A flowers viewpoint
sees life,  death and in between
as it views seasons.

The story of love
is a mystery of life
that’s misunderstood.

Challenging someone
that you don’t know very well
might end real badly.

The life of a breath
is as long as it is breathed,
for then it is gone.

Nurturing flowers
needs knowledge of their nature
and an ability.

Looking at the stars
you will see lights from afar
that are now deceased.

An ocean’s own depth
holds more mysteries of life
than we could fathom.

Ones that are lonely
are often with some others,
but just don’t fit in.

Time’s narrow bridges
can become cluttered with stuff
we really don’t need.

Our destinations
might encompass rocky roads
that lead to better.

When walking quickly
you might not see the beauty
that passes you by.

Tree leaves of autumn
begin their decorating
as artist of time.

The wind speaks volumes
as it begins its journey
from here to the seas.

Turbulent waters
are not always destruction,
for they have purpose.

The hands of a clock
will tell the time of the day
if set correctly.
