Fairly Mundane

Hello my friends

It’s snowed a bit more up here and I’ve had
to use our snow blower twice this week LOL.
Yep,   gotta love it and I do love snow hehehe.
BUT,  I don’t like it when it begins melting
creating slush and then refreezing making it
is as a horrid ice skating disaster looking for
a place to happen LOL.  I guess ya gotta take
the bad with the good.  That’s life for ya 🙂
So,  I guess it’s on to another topic.  Judy’s
cell phone literally died the other day and we
had to buy her another one.  The one she had
was a hand me down from her sister Trudy.
It was old.  Anyways,  we got a deal on this
one.  It’s a 2017 model so we got it cheap,  but
it is brand new.  She’s been learning how to
use it being it is little bit different than her
old cell phone.  I would not of insisted on her
getting another phone if not for all of the
driving that she does.  We only need one
cell phone.  She does most of the driving 🙂
Our landline suits me fine.  Actually it suits
both of us just fine.  She only uses the cell
phone for emergencies and a few of her apps
such as Fitbit.  Life is fairly mundane here
at the Pearce’s Place LOL.  Judy got some
more paints and canvases and has done a
few more paintings.  I’ve used a few of them
for poetry pictures 🙂  I wish our books would
start selling,  but I guess it will happen when
it happens LOL and it might be when I am
dead and gone.  No matter,  I’ll keep writing
as long as my mind is still working and I
can see what I am doing hehehe.  Judy and
I are just gonna hang around the house this
week being we did all of our shopping last
week.  Of course we might need to one time
or another go to the store to get eggs or
milk,  but that’s about it.  Right now it’s
27 F degrees at 4 PM and that’s not too bad.
I have been busy going back through all
of mine and Judy’s photos of years passed
to find good ones to use for my poetry.  I
have found quite a few winners.  Plus of
course I am always taking pictures.  So it
seems I will have much to write about as
long as my old brain don’t burn out LOL.
Benny and Rocky are doing well.  They
have been enjoying playing in the snow
with me.  They are not afraid of the snow
blower either LOL.  It seems they will
park themselves right in the middle of my
path just to have some snow thrown their
way hehehe.  Hehehe it was funny,  Rocky
went into the deep snow to hide from me
and then popped out when I came with the
snow blower.  LOL those boys are funny.
Thank You God for all that You’ve done
for us and all that You will do.  I would
not want to go through life without You.
I guess it’s time for me to be taking my
little trip back through all that I have
written here to see if I can find me a word
or phrase that I can use for the title for
today’s brand new poem :).  So it’s away
I go to that place of my recollection that
I always like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.
I think I found a fairly decent title about
half way back in my rambling hehehehe.
Now to see if I can do anything with it.
Here goes…

Fairly Mundane

Boring moments
time consumes
some as minutes
songs and tunes.
Passing dewdrops
become our gaze
fairly mundane
on distant days.
Yet as a moment
becomes our view
it can then also
be me and you.
Look for the good
in times that pass
for they might soon
be gone real fast.
For as a turnstile
opens and closes
fairly mundane
may show us roses.
The scents so sweet
as time and again
might only be seen
as fairly mundane.

There ya go.  Judy gave me her OK seal of
approval 🙂  I always read the poem to her to
see if I have a few typos,  for reading aloud
helps determine if it needs to be reworded 🙂
Anyways,  I hope you liked it.  I also hope that
you enjoyed my rambling.  Hehehehe If not,
then oh well LOL.  Life goes on 🙂  So now to
see if I forgot anything that was important to
tell ya.  Hmm,  nope,  can’t think of a thing.
So I guess it’s time for me to tell you what
I tell you every week and that is I wrote some
more poems and haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more
poems with 4 extra and 1 Christmas poem.
I hope you can find 1 or 2 of either or both
that you like.  Now,  I believe it’s time for
me to begin my search for that hardly elusive
off switch,  but not before I wish you many
blessings in this week and may the rest of
this weekend give you a few as well.  Now,
where is that ornery off switch trying to hide
this week?  LOL I use the word hide very
loosely.  Hmm,  gazing around the room at
all that I can see and it seems that I can see
a bit of movement from under my hats to
the right of me.  My red hat seems to have
a life of its own hehehe.  Nope,  there ya are.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

Echoes Delight

Photos of scenery
come into play
timeless as echoes
a magical day.
Wonders of winter
display history
as echoes delight
of a sweet memory.
Life seems frozen
as time moves on
revealing moments
that are long gone.
Displaying echoes
of another time,
scenes remembered
of oh so divine.
Life begins beating
as a heart of gold
with echoes delight
the lifetimes of old.

Waves Of Light

Crashing thrashing
of certain styles
can become ones
hidden smiles.
Beneath the scenes
of life and death
ones might try to
hold their breath.
With rocky shores
of life displayed
time might hide
the blessings made.
Behind the rocks
below the waves
the light of life
might fill the days.
Crashing thrashing
found in sight
might just be then
waves of light.

Within our thoughts
the minutes pass
leaving a few then
out of contrast.
Find you a breath
to breathe in a smile.
Relax for a moment
or a long while.
Seek the destination
of a dreamers view
and fly in the breeze
just like the birds do.
Flap like an eagle
and float in the breeze
within relaxation
high above the trees.
Seek your inner sight
and contrive a day
a time’s relaxation
in a wonderful way.
Now breathe in deep
the blessings of time
and allow relaxation
to fill up your mind.
Take in the blessings
and then take a dive
in an ocean of peace
and let it revive.
Let this relaxation
become a part of you,
a time you remember
to return to anew.

Inside a pathway
time intervenes
while giving relief
in wonderful scenes.
Life is a mirror
reflecting the views
while giving relief
with time to infuse.
Pages seem turning
as ages acquire
giving relief from
moments barbwire.
Snow covered scenes
seem to come alive
while giving relief
to help us survive.
A minute a moment
as time does display
can give us relief
in a wonderful way.
Maybe a mere breath
of a minute of time
was sent as relief
from Heaven divine.
A breath of life
becomes much more
as it gives us relief
new life to explore.
Teeming as chances
with lesser of grief
God sends us angels
to give us relief.

Inner Journey

Thoughts we think
and things we do
become the paths
that come in view.
Just like a deer
in moonlight’s way
a journey can be
from night unto day.
As life is found
in patterns we see
our inner journey
can become a key.
A quest of portions
through inner sight
can then become
a wrong or right.
As moonlight scenes
a deer standing still
our inner journey
can surely fulfill.
Painted imagination
of a subsequent time
our inner journey
can create a design.

Gravel Of Style

We’re as footsteps
a life of souls
making up many
directions and goals.
Some seeing only
the gravel to move
becoming pathways
to win or to lose.
Some seeming timid
as weathered array
with gravel of style
from some other day.
We all have styles
of minutes of time
some seem counted
as a wishful design.
Many with power
will not see our views
as a gravel of style
with worn out shoes.
Yet we must continue
to do our very best
as life throws lemons
within a few quest.
Don’t lose the lessons
of a rocky road,
for they teach lessons
that surely unfold.
Learn to be proud
and to carry a smile
as you grow stronger
in the gravel of style.

Summer Dreams

Do you remember
those summer days,
those times in life
as searing sun rays?
Splashing having fun
in a pool or a pond
morning to noon
and then on and on.
The summer dreams
that you once desired
playing in daylight
until you got tired.
Do you remember
those seasonal views
now but a dream
of a wandering muse?
Those special times
that seemed as gold
are now but a memoir
as we’ve grown old.
You and your friends
would splash about
in the waters of life
that one day ran out.
Do you remember
and can you still see
those photos of time
of your history?
Then was enchanted
as seasons request
those summer dreams
that seem as the best.

A Touch Of Time

An evening sun
in clouds design
creates a scene
a touch of time.
Seconds passed
become explored
as the skyline
is so adored.
Within the sight
there is a taste,
a sky of light
that is not waste.
It brings alive
what I applaud
a touch of time
that is from God.
Clouds may form
a scenic view
as a sky alive
from old to new.
An evening sun
might be so bright
that it beacons
within the night.
For its glimmer
and its glow
might so often
put on a show.
Giving moonlight
a moments mind
found within
a touch of time.

The Nightingale

This bird it sings
in the dark of the night
as it brings its views
into songs of light.
The nightingale sings
so sweetly its tune
songs of a moment,
that others can swoon.
It brings to life
a heartbeats array
with signs of the times
its songs on display.
The nightingale sings
as a harp in the night
strumming its notes
of an evening delight.
It might be a moment
of a seasonal style
found as a night song
and nightingale smile.
Efforts of existence
are songs that it shares
lifetimes collusions
to answer its prayers.
It is a true songbird
that carries its flight
the nightingales life
in the dark of the night.
It’s found as a story
so timeless to tell
the sweet sounds sung
of the nightingale.

Golden Sunset

Special scenes
of calming waves
is what’s found
on summer’s days.
A golden sunset
displays a view
across an ocean
waters blue.
Among the scene
might be a sight
of two small dogs
seen left and right.
This special scene
that times display
might be dreamt
of a summer’s day.
A golden sunset
creates a view
a summer’s scene
in sky of blue.
It might be painted
in a memory
a golden sunset
beside the sea.

Dreamer’s Mind

Inside our minds
are living thoughts
dreams of times
we may have lost.
Seasons thrive as
points and places
found within our
smiling faces.
An ocean breeze
and fishing reel
a dreamer’s mind
that times reveal.
As time moves on
it leaves its core
within our minds
to surely soar.
For as we strive
to move along
a dreamer’s mind
is never gone.

Christmas Tracks

A path through time
displays a view
Christmas tracks
from old to new.
Snow covered rails
of seasons delight
hold dear the times
a Christmassy sight.
Lifetimes of journeys
that trains travel on
display the moments
as an ongoing song.
Jingle Bells sweetly
with its unique flair
the train continues
on to somewhere.
The rails remember
the journey in time
many then searching
a Christmas design.
The season records
most all of the facts
found there upon
the Christmas tracks.

Driving Winter

On our travels
times proclaim
winter’s snowflakes
none the same.
Driving winter
tires roll on
down the roads
of winters dawn.
Wondrous sights
are there in view
on our travels
old and new.
Driving winter
becomes alive
awaiting places
to arrive.
Wheels are rolling
there and back
as the journey
stays on track.
Moments turnstiles
surely enter
as we travel
driving winter.

Love Of Time

True hearts racing
within a field
become stories
words to yield.
The love of time
and how it passes
leaves us echoes
summers grasses.
So many things
that we remember
might become a
burning ember.
A time of life
as children played
without worries
to escalate.
A certain scene
begins its quest
the love of time
and summers zest.
A little girl
on a summer’s day
with two dogs
might run and play.
They might be seen
as minutes pass
running playing
slow and fast.
This is a scene
within my mind
a point and place
the love of time.

Beyond what we see
is a world within a world
that exist in time.

A chance is given
as a new day dawns
so use it wisely.

Within a moment
there are multiples of scenes
that might elude us.

The sun’s own brightness
gives many stories to tell
as it comes and goes.

Life can be haunting
if the past is not cared for
and not put in place.

Putting on an act
will often dig your own grave
with tombstone of truth.

A little flower
can create a wondrous view
when joined by others.

Life is like snowflakes,
nothing is truly the same,
because time changes.

Lost in the minds eye
you can lose track of what’s true
and not see the lies.

Winters on lifestyle
often leaves ones found frigid
not enjoying snow.

Looking for something
and not knowing what it is
can find confusion.

A journey through time
can often have many bumps
that sway our footsteps.

Nobody’s perfect,
for we are imperfections
created with style.

Today’s beginnings
are our tomorrow’s journey
awaiting command.

A dreamers dreamland
might consist of nothing good,
only delusions.

Painting a picture
requires a brush of paint
and an idea.

Allowing a lie
to become all you believe
can leave you empty.

Change can be good
if it truly lives in you
and not make believe.

When springtime arrives
it uses the melted snow
to flourish its life.

Counting the minutes
can make life to seem longer
than it really is.

Cherishing money
can create an empty life
as blessings are missed.

A leaf of autumn
blows gently towards the ground
to join the others.
