But Just Where

Hello my friends

It’s been a great week this passed week.
Our car is repaired and we brought her
home Tuesday.  She looks just like new.
Parent’s Body Shop did a great job on
our car.  My new XP laptop arrived on
Tuesday the same day our car was done.
It’s a Dell laptop.  The same brand as my
XP Pro PC.  Anyways,  the laptop works
great.  It does everything that I need it
for.  The battery life is only a few hours,
but if needed I can take the plug in to
the porch and plug it in,  but 2 hours is
pretty good when browsing Facebook 🙂
So,  next topic.  The weather has been
fairly nice.  Right now it’s 75 F degrees
which is the high for today.  Of course
tomorrow is supposed to be a little bit
warmer,  but we’ll survive with our little
portable air conditioner hehehe.  When
we’re on the porch I have a water-cooled
fan that I can use on the warmer days
to keep us cool.  Yeppers,  we’re all
set for summer and winter.  I’ve been
doing walks every day around 11 PM
on the county road that runs in front
of our house.  I go up one way one day
and the other the next.  I switch off so
to not to get so bored and I have also
begun going further each day or at least
giving it a go LOL.  The last 2 days this
week I only walked about half of the
distance I did before,  but tomorrow I
will begin my longer walks again.  I am
trying to walk off some of this weight
and it seems to be working as well as
making my asthma to not be so bad
with my regulated breathing while I’m
walking.  I haven’t had an asthma attack
since I have begun this.  So,  something’s
working 🙂  Anyways,  we’re doing well.
We’ve begun taking the boys on field
trips out in the field that’s in front of
our house or in back.  It’s really how
you look at it hehehe.  Our neighbor
mowed our lawn for us today,  so that’s
one thing I do not have to do at least
for a few days unless he mows it again,
but he did not use the weed eater,  so
I will have to get out maybe tomorrow
and do a little weed eating.  It could be
worse ya know hehehe.  Judy’s taking
a little nap right now.  We didn’t sleep
well last night due to our dog Rocky
peeing on the bed and us having to do
a lot of cleaning on the mattress and
flipping it,  then doing laundry to wash
the sheets.  So neither of us got much
sleep and Rocky is no longer allowed
on the bed.  I know what happened,
but it still doesn’t make it OK.  He
was on the bed fixing to play with our
pillows and I caught him and I think
I scared him because that is where the
pee was.  He didn’t pee on the pillows,
but just where he was standing fixing
to begin playing with the pillows LOL.
Anyways,  it’s all cleaned up now,  but
as I said :),  he is no longer allowed
on the bed.  He hopped up to see Judy
and I swatted him and said down.  He
knows he messed up hehehe.  For the
remainder,  Benny is not allowed on
the bed either.  That makes the second
time that Rocky has made that error.
Anyways,  life goes on 🙂  Not much
else going on.  I take pictures on my
daily walks,  so I’ve got a ton of pictures
to put in my stationery as well as a
few to use for poetry pictures.  God is
still watching over us and taking good
care of us.  I’m sure we’ve got many
angels watching over us as well.  Life
is good even with many aches and pains
that we must deal with.  Thank You
God for taking care of us and always
protecting us.  Now I believe it’s time
for me to begin my little journey back
through all that I’ve written here to
see if I can find a good word or phrase
that I can use for the title for today’s
brand new poem.  So it’s away I go,
to that place of my recollection that
I always like to call RECOLLECT
VILLE.  I think I may have found a
fairly decent title just a few lines back
and now after checking I see that it
has not been used as of yet,  so used
it shall be today.  Here goes…

But Just Where

Passing ventures
become memoirs
of life and times
of shooting stars.
Time’s are counted
now and then
where we’re going,
where we’ve been.
But just where
is the daily door
that has within it
a little bit more?
It might be hidden
within the view
the times we want
to then come true.
But just where
is the passing scene
that comes alive
inside a dream?
It might just be
but a time away
that’s just waiting
for a better day.
It could be sights
of some fresh air,
yet we are seeking
but just where.

There ya go.  Yes I know,  it might be a
little confusing,  but that’s OK.  Maybe
it will make ya think hehehe.  Anyways,
I hope you enjoyed it and maybe even
enjoyed my rambling hehehe.  I have
been having to keep telling Rocky that
he is not to jump on the bed.  He seems
to have a bad memory LOL.  Benny can
remember it well and he is right behind
me lying in the floor.  Hopefully it will
finally sink into Rocky’s thick skull that
he is not allowed on the bed anymore.
LOL OK enough about that.  I don’t
think there is much else to tell you other
than what I tell you every week and that
is,  I wrote some more poems and haiku.
Yep,  10 more poems,  but no extras and
no Christmas poems this week.  I also
wrote 22 more haiku for all of the haiku
lovers out there.  I hope you can find
1 or 2 of either or both that you like 🙂
Now with that said,  I reckon it’s time
for me to begin my searching for that
hardly elusive off switch,  but not before
I wish you a truly blessings filled week.
Remember,  Jesus loves you and we
do too.  Now,  where is that ornery off
switch hiding this time?  Hmm,  where
could that silly thing be?  Hehehehe,
I think I see it.  Yeppers,  I see you 🙂
Trying to hide behind my little pepper
shaker huh.  Next time try hiding behind
something that’s not skinnier than you.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Summer Stroll

A book of life
has many pages
a summer stroll
of many ages.
Just like a time
we remember well
a special time
in summer’s well.
The rope of life
is extended down
a summer stroll
for a look around.
A Heavenly sight
that comes in view
as a book of life
in morning’s dew.
We might not see
the smallest sight
that might be
on left and right,
but if we search
beyond each phase
we might see
some better days.
A summer stroll
can come alive
as the smallest
finds our eyes.
God’s own beauty
can then unfold
looking closely
a summer stroll.

Season’s Sun

Light of an evening
disperses its view
sight of a moment
from old to anew.
A wintertime scene
becomes as a stage
found as a journal
of page after page.
Written perception
in an essence of style
as the season’s sun
gives me a big smile.
Seeming as magic
it displays a sight
as a glimmer of love
in its bright sunlight.
I look real closely
and see a reflection
within season’s sun
in my own perception.
It might be a scene
that I’ve seen before,
but this is the best
that I truly adore.
It is but a journey
that time then instills
as flavors of winter
on distant times hills.
My heart’s in rhythm
as a beating drum
at the sight I see
within season’s sun.

Take A Breath

When in a hurry
you might fall prey
to worries of life
in a troublesome way.
Trying to hurry
what time cannot see
might become life
that’s not so happily.
So often we’re needing
to stop for a while
and breathe in a sight
for time to compile.
Allow yet a moment
to become as gold,
as a time you recall
and story you’ve told.
So now take a breath
and breathe in a view
the sights that you see
from old to anew.
Don’t let the views
to become as a phase
as times remembered
in ordinary ways.
Breathe in the beauty
of a moment in time
and let it to blossom
as Heaven sent wine.
Don’t let the minutes
to fill you with strife,
so take a breath now
and enjoy your life.

Sometimes Reminds

In life and perception
we might then recall
a time that reminds us
of a time frame so tall.
Standing as an echo
repeating in our view
as sometimes reminds
of a time thereunto.
Often as a glimmer
we remember so well
such as the tiny things
of a moment’s detail.
It might be a scene
that you pass every day
or a moment in time
that just slipped away.
It’s then the shadows
begin to remind
and display in a memoir
a momentous time.
A scene as a dream
that you now remember
as the seconds pass by
to burn as an ember.
As sometimes reminds
of a distant array
such as a place you saw
on one sunny day.
It is then as life’s echoes
that repeat special times
such as places in life
that sometimes reminds.

Sands Of Life

Footsteps made
and gathered style
can remember
a moment’s smile.
A time and place
that hearts record
in sands of life
of our sweet Lord.
The seasons pass
leaving in place
a point in time
of a smiling face.
Just like waters
that waves display
the sands of life
might wash away.
Leaving a moment
in your memory
as a seasonal sight,
the deep blue sea.
You might recall
a heart felt time
that lives each day
within your mind.
The time’s alive
as minutes grow
with oceans tide
of ebb and flow.
The sands of life
become a kiss
a time and place
we reminisce.

Blue And White

Life begins
with imagination
brought alive
in our perception.
A cloudy sky
in a field of blue
displays a sight
we wish to view.
Created in style
as we look on
the blue and white
is never gone.
For it’s remembered
as another day
in blue and white
with a little gray.
Those distant times
of there and then
are just as pages
within the wind.
Blowing briskly
and then at peace
the blue and white
gives great release.
A certain style
within the view
displays a heartfelt
time so true.
Just like seasons
that come in sight
the gray dissolves
in blue and white.

Time’s Hourglass

Looking seeing
perceptions glance
as the sands of life
display their dance.
Pouring as water
the sands will flow
ticking as a clock
on a daily show.
Time’s hourglass
displays scenery
signs of the times
for you and for me.
We might forget
a morning’s dawn
as we walk onwards
to just carry on.
Each scene’s a page
in the book of time
some as a rhythm
and some as a rhyme.
We might not see
the sands that fall
and put in place
life’s bouncing ball.
The words united
as each is displayed
with time as visual
of life’s lemonade.
Yet all the doorways
of future and past
display the shadows
of time’s hourglass.

Just Within

Means of times
are filled with gaze
as eyes of life
in a certain phase.
The stills we see
might fade away
within a frame
of night and day.
The living scenes
might not breathe
for they might be
of painted seas.
Or maybe a time
a flower and vase
with cup and tea
for life’s embrace.
Yes the sights
of time and again
might just be
found just within.

Reflections Of Life

Sometimes reflections
are that of the sky
displaying the beauty
that seasons comply.
Reflective moments
of scenic displays
can become times
to heal all the grays.
Reflections of life
in a wonderful style
can change a frown
into a glorious smile.
Sometimes the waters
of a rippling lake
display all the colors
of which they partake.
Trees in the distance
reflecting their flow
as the waters glimmer
and put on a show.
The blue sky above
might also be seen
flowing as a moment
of a magical dream.
Within the reflections
you might also see
a bird flying by
or a small bumble bee.
It can be a moment
a time to prevail
as reflections of life
with Heaven set sail.

Time Opens Doors

Many a viewpoint
becomes as a glimmer
hurried for a moment
for you then to enter.
Yet when you enter
you might find regret
for the hurry of time
of impatient sweat.
Time opens doors
to a choice every day
as just for a time
or a seasons array.
Often it’s our hurry
that creates our view
riddled with problems
that time did accrue.
Not knowing truly
how hurry would find
time in a storm cloud
without peace of mind.
Allow for a moment,
don’t hurry along
and look for the better
than what that is wrong.
Remember your past
and use it real well
to find more of Heaven
and lesser of Hell.
For views of a moment
that hurry explores
may need some prayer
for time opens doors.

So many errors
can be prevented with time
and less of hurry.

Looking for some stars
you might find a few glimmers
that have ceased to shine.

Seasons of grandeur
are often our memories
and not what that’s true.

Overuse of time
can lose minutes within it
that were just a waste.

Summertime’s flowers
can emulate that of spring,
but autumn says cease.

Planting a flower
does not assure it will grow,
for it needs nurture.

A page from our book
might have many blank pages
needing us to write.

Beyond what we see
might be a whole other world
that is watching us.

Yesterday’s future
is often not what’s perceived,
for tomorrow thrives.

Living in the past
will often create baggage
that never ceases.

Green grass of summer
is a beauty to behold
unless you’re mowing.

Darkness of evening
gives way for nighttime’s starlight
to tell their stories.

Minutes in anger
can turn into dynamite
if not extinguished.

A painted picture
might live inside of your mind
and needing brushstrokes.

Each day that begins
has its very own design
hidden in the day.

The sight of raindrops
does not mean there is a storm,
because rain gives life.

True friends are always,
for even after they’re gone
they live in our heart.

Shadows of nighttime
are often only tree limbs
swaying in the breeze.

Glimmers of the truth
still exist in someone’s lies
but maybe faintly.

Heard as a heartbeat
the waves of life show rhythms
beating as a drum.

Winter’s memories
are as snowflakes falling down
creating beauty.

The hands of a clock
speak of hours and minutes
that life passes by.
