Hello my friends

It’s another cold day up here in Maine
and expecting more snow beginning as
of this afternoon 🙂  Yeppers it’s looking
more and more like Christmas as each
day passes us by.  There are few houses
on our lil drive to town that have their
Christmas lights up.  So we’re not the
only ones LOL.  So OK,  we keep ours
up all year round and that might put us
in another group hehehe.  We had a nice
week.  Thanksgiving Day Judy and I
went up to Caribou and spent the day
with her daughter and other family
members.  We had a good time.  Good
food and good fun.  We played games.
I took a ton of pictures on our drive up
there and Judy and I took quite a few
pictures while at Mandy’s house.  So,
I’m sure that a few of the pictures will
make it into my stationery 🙂  The next
few days it’s supposed to snow and we
plan on staying home and just enjoying
it.  We do love to watch it snow and
take pictures of it LOL.  Oh yea,  do
you remember me saying that someone
stole our mail.  Well,  the mailman came
yesterday (Saturday) and said it looks
like your mailbox is back up.  I said yes
I fixed it the other day.  He said that
he put all of our previous mail in it
and delivered a package that wouldn’t
fit in the mailbox.  It looks as though
he may not have looked to see if our
mailbox was standing and just ignored
it.  I got my business cards and the
doggie treats I ordered for the boys.
The only thing is,  I had to order my
business cards again though without
the 65% discount and so I’ll be getting
them this week LOL.  Oh well,  now
I have 1000 business cards to hand out
so maybe just maybe people will buy
my books hahaha.  The cards have
my books title Pearce’s Poetry Pictures
and my Amazon Author page address
on them which has all of my books and
choices of either Kendle or paperback.
It’s worth a try hehehe.  So what else
is happening at The Pearce’s Place?
Well,  Friday evening Judy and I went
and did some grocery shopping and
we saw that the 55 inch TV’s were on
sale,  so we went home and unloaded
the groceries and Judy borrowed the
money from her brother to buy the
TV and so now we have a 55 inch TV
in our computer room 🙂  It’ll be like
being at the movies in this small room.
We watch most of our movies in here.
So now we’re planning on re watching
all of the Transformer movies and then
watching the newest one that we have
not seen yet.  That should make for
a few movie nights 🙂  The TV is our
Christmas gift to us 🙂  The TV we had
in here was one that Judy’s sister Trudy
gave us a while back and it was dying.
So,  Judy and I spent a few hours last
night cleaning off a space for the big
TV and then getting it hooked up and
programmed.  Then we watched Ghost
Adventures at 9 PM and Dragonball
Super at 11 PM.  We were worried that
we wouldn’t be able to get it set up in
time to watch our programs.  So OK
it was me that was worried HaHaHa.
Judy was the one programming the
TV and she kept saying “I’ll get it”
and she did about 10 minutes before
Ghost Adventures came on.  So now
we have the humongous TV to the
right of me.  I baked some cookies
yesterday.  I’ve got the oven heating
at the moment.  I’m gonna make us
some biscuits for brunch.  I might
put strawberry jam in them hehehe.
Anyways,  that’s all that’s going on
around this place.  I’m letting Judy
sleep a bit later being we have both
been having trouble sleeping lately.
I’ll wake her when the biscuits are
ready 🙂  God has been good to us.
We have many struggles, but we
know that we can make it with God
and His abundance of angels helping
us.  I guess it’s time for me to begin
my search back through all that I’ve
written here to see if I can find a good
word or phrase that I can use for the
title for today’s brand new poem 🙂
So,  it’s away I go to that lil place of
my recollection that I always like to
it seems I may have found a fairly
decent title  just a few lines back and
now after checking,  I see that it has
not been used yet,  so used it shall be.
Here goes…

Places we’ve journeyed
times that we’ve seen
might be the adventures
to fill up our dreams.
A lifetime of doorways
and windows of views
might begin adventures
that the future will use.
Time is but a counter
as minutes pass on
found as our adventures
right and of wrong.
We each have a journey
that we need to fulfill
within our adventures
of each rising hill.
Some are as surprises
that we never expected
deemed as our adventures
the moment projected.
God has a way that
connects time in place
as we find our adventures
within face to face.
Life continues onwards
as we each travel true
seeing many adventures
God gave me and you.

Well,  there ya go.  I hope you enjoyed
my rambling and maybe even liked the
poem as well as understood it.  So Judy
and I have just finished our brunch 🙂
Biscuits with strawberry jam and eggs,
yummy.  I cook pretty good hehehehe.
I fixed a couple of small sausage links
for the boys too LOL.  They love it
when I do that 🙂  Anyways,  that’s all
I have for you this week.  Now I believe
it’s time for me to tell you what I tell
you every week and that is,  I wrote
some more poems and haiku.  Yeppers
10 more poems and 6 Christmas poems
are in the mix.  I also wrote 22 more
haiku for all of the haiku lovers out
there.  I hope you can find 1 or 2 of
either or both that you like.  Now,  I
do believe it’s time for me to begin
my search for that hardly elusive off
switch,  but not before I wish you a
most wonderful weekend or what’s
left of it and a truly blessings filled
week.  Remember,  Jesus loves you
and we do too..  Ok so where is that
darned off switch hiding this time???
Hmm,  it looks as though I have
some movement from behind my
billfold that is sitting in front of me
and now I see that you’re trying to
climb inside it to hide LOL.  You are
silly.  You’d never fit in that small
thing.  Next week why don’t you
try hiding behind something that
isn’t right in front of me hahahaha.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

Storefront Snowman

Life of a snowflake
begins with a time
floating from heaven
to become a design.
Maybe as a snowball
or a passing view
a storefront snowman
stood tried and true.
With a little grin
and hat on his head
life begins moving
as a wintertime spread.
Snow on the ground
as a Christmas scene
a storefront snowman
stood so serene.
People walk passed it
smiling with glee
as they go shopping
or just there to see.
Searching for gifts
for friends and more
that’s found inside
the displayed store.
As the stage is set
for a Christmas sale
a storefront snowman
has a story to tell.

Searching For Christmas

Through winter’s snow
and an evening sight
I find I’m searching
daylight and night.
The seasonal settings
of glorious hues
as Christmas scenes
of reds, greens and blues.
Scented of a moment
as a burning ember
a time and a place
of one great December.
It might be a time
when you were younger
as a child with dreams
Christmastime wonder.
Thinking of Santa
and his many reindeer
pulling his sleigh
this time of the year.
Seeking for echoes
of his shout in the night
as he leaves ones homes
and flies out of sight.
While I am always
found looking ahead
seeking for Christmas
that lives in my head.
It’s a time and a place
that brings joy to me
searching for Christmas
a great sight to see.

Simply Thinking

Through the clouds
of life’s display
I find I’m thinking
of another day.
A distant memory
of long ago
a time and a place
where dreamers go.
I’m simply thinking
of now and then
times of illusion
times that transcend.
Thinking of blessings
thinking dreams
that are now echoes
of many things.
Believing in people
believing in times
simply momentous
wondrous designs.
Time as an aroma
a smell so sweet
Thanksgiving days
good food to eat.
Soon it’s Christmas
a seasonal sight
thinking about love
and all I delight.
Time is but a cloud
as seasons fly by
with simply thinking
and a teardrop reply.

Ocean Of God

The waves of life
become a tool
as God displays
our seasons school.
Times that crash
onto our shore
become the times
that we explore.
God gives ways
of getting through
the storms of life
of old and anew.
We might not see
the waves of time
that come to us
from God Divine.
Oceans are stirred
as seasonal waves
of the to and fro
for us to gaze.
The sights we find
might seem to be
too many storms
for you and me.
Yet as the pages
of a storybook
the ocean of God
gives another look.
It’s as but a scene
a dream’s applaud
sent from Heaven
an ocean of God.

They Gave A Wave

On a winter’s day
time was of sorts
cold weather shown
on weather reports.
Seasonal status
of a winter array
as we drove to town
one winter’s day.
We passed scenes
of a whitish glow
and saw some guys
having fun in snow.
Riding snowmobiles
on snow of white
as they gave a wave
we drove out of sight.
I looked back behind
within the mirror
and saw them waving
a little bit clearer.
Before we went by
I took a photograph
both of them waving
as we went passed.
They seemed happy
to see my aim
my camera clicking
this photo of Maine.
This was so special
those wintertime days
that caught a glimpse
as they gave a wave.

Emerging Styles

What ones might see
as just but a sight
others might see
as a scene of white.
With different views
of now and again
our own perception
might be the wind.
The styles that we see
and choices we chose
might then emerge
as someone’s rose.
Winters of snowflakes
as Christmas divine
might show the way
we see time to time.
With ones illusions
and another’s dreams
time might unlock
oh so many things.
Life of our memories
becomes as a gaze
emerging as moments
Christmastime days.
The sights and sounds
that we recognize
might still breathe
what then does arrive.
A Christmas scene
that brought us smiles
might now today
be emerging styles.

Magic of Winter

Life on the road
to Caribou
our wheels rolled on
a scenic view.
The towns we passed
were winter white
a Christmas view
a magical sight.
Our wheels rolled on
to other places
seeming so timeless
as smiling faces.
We drove on through
on roads of ice
that slowed us down
then once or twice.
Our wheels rolled on
to certain sights
portions of time
with Christmas lights.
We saw some towns
with window views
displaying things
choices to choose.
Stores with wonderful
things to buy
within the windows
toys that could fly.
The very best view
was front and center
the road to Caribou
magic of winter.

Seasons Remembered

Flourishing memories
become as a glance
a Christmassy scene
that time did enhance.
Children out playing
in winter’s white snow
seasons remembered
that moments bestow.
Counted as snowflakes
that landed in place
becomes as a scene
with a smiling face.
Children had gathered
to enjoy and play
this moment in time
of a Christmassy day.
They built snowmen
and large snowballs
laughing so gleeful
the moment enthralls.
Scented as Christmas
this time brought about
a wonderful moment
I’m never without.
It lives in my memories
it lives in my sight
the pictures I took then
the snow winter white.
Life is a doorway
with a wondrous view
seasons remembered
of a time thereunto.

Like A Fly

God gives blessings
flowers bloom
as a scene’s arrival
with times attune.
So many don’t see
the beauty of time
as life of flowers
a wondrous design.
Yet the perspective
of a tiny little fly
sees all the beauty
as God’s piece of pie.
Timeless transitions
from winter to spring
a fly sees the sights
of most everything.
For its tiny eyes
look around to find
the things we forsake
as a moment in time.
God brings seconds
alive in many ways
that we should enjoy
and give Him praise.
Thank Him for life
and that of a smile
the times that we find
our lifetimes compile.
The beauty of flowers
and the big blue sky
look at it closely now
just like a fly.

Walking In The Snow

Enjoying snowflakes
as a breath of fresh air
kids are found walking
without not a care.
I gave a wave then
and they waved at me
as they walked onwards
in snow fluffy free.
On a wintertime day
with snow falling down
I saw some children
just walking around.
They were so joyful
they gave me a smile
in a Christmassy scene
of a wintery while.
They soon came over
and asked me to play
as they tossed snowballs
at me then that day.
We had some fun then
that Christmas delight
a time I remember
as a winter of white.
The snow fell quickly
and covered their steps
leaving not a trail
to the right or the left.
It was a God filled day
with blessings to grow
when I saw these kids
just walking in the snow.

Life is but a smile
needing a place which to grow
but frowns destroy it.

Looking for a time
that seems to be well hidden
might uncover goals.

Breathing in moments
you might lose a breath or two
as you’re bewildered.

Change is perspective
that some see differently
from other viewpoints.

Blessings arrivals
are often misconceptions
that we tossed away.

Seeking for the sun
you might find it behind clouds
of dismal thinking.

Choosing a pathway
needs knowledge of the journey
and trust in the Lord.

The links to a fence
are like lifestyles connected
to make useable.

We are as a rose
as we all bloom with lifestyles,
but with many thorns.

Beyond our vision
there’s another yet to see
that is within us.

is a part of who we are
as we all do it.

Sharing emotions
with ones that could not care less
can still be helpful.

In search of a time
while it’s still real faraway
could show illusions.

Need of a snowflake
is that of a winter’s day
that gives it a chance.

The signs of the times
are as words within the wind
to tell our future.

A forest of thought
has many leaves to think with
that many ignore.

Gradient walkways
can cause many to stumble
if they’re not prepared.

So many shadows
lie about who they follow
and become troubled.

The noise of today
may become missed tomorrow
as silence reminds.

God gives us hopeful
in the midst of our journeys,
but we’re needing faith.

Various seasons
have changes found within them
that confuse many.

A penny for thought
shows little worth in thinking
so keep it simple.
