ANIMAL’S GREETINGS
Hello my friends
I hope you have had a nice
passed week.
Ours has been somewhat uneventful LOL.
Nothing much has
changed aside from it
getting dark real early making it hard to
take any
pictures. In other words, I did
not take any pictures this week aside
from
a few blurry pictures that I took of some
houses with their Christmas
lights. I had
trouble taking the pictures being I had to
hold my breath
so as to not breathe out
and blow condensation in front of the
camera
LOL. It was rather cold and my
hands were shaking too 🙂 No matter,
I
will just share last weeks pictures along
with a couple of the less
blurry pictures
of Christmas lights. Next topic. Well,
I finally
published my 9th book. Yep,
it’s now for sale at Amazon.com along
with
all of my others. They would make
great Christmas gifts. Anyways, off
of
that subject. The weather has been back
and forth up this way. It’s
supposed to
snow tomorrow. How much, now that’s
a question that the
weather channel can
never get right LOL, for their predictions
usually
change from day to day up until
the day that they are predicting
hehehe.
It could be more snow or less snow than
they are predicting. LOL
we shall see.
Judy and I are enjoying the Christmas
season. The snow
outside makes it look
so Christmassy. We are set to watch a
ton of
Christmas movies 🙂 Judy just
woke up and came in here to join me
and the
boys. Benny and Rocky are
well. They’re just as ornery as ever 🙂
There
isn’t much else going on around
here. I’m fixing Judy and I something
to
eat for brunch right now. Biscuits
with jam, eggs and sausage links.
The
biscuits will be ready in a few minutes
and then I can start buttering
them and
putting strawberry jam in them. It’s 4
in the afternoon now and
it’s already
getting dark. Yep, for me to take any
pictures, I’ve
gotta get them early LOL.
I did take a few pictures outside our
front door
earlier today. It’s still white
outside 🙂 Oh yea, Judy and I
finished
with our brunch a while ago. I enjoy
cooking for Judy and I. We
switch out.
She will often fix us dinner. That’s the
way it should be.
Not always relying
on the other to do for you. After I get
done writing,
I’m gonna head out to
the mailbox and see if we got any mail
yesterday. I
was busy writing most of
the day and Judy went to her sister’s
house for
craft night. Judy painted a
pretty picture that I am going to use
for a
poetry picture. I’ve already got
62 poetry pictures written for book
10.
Yes, you can say it. (Bill, you write
a lot)! Yep, I write a
lot. It keeps my
mind in gear hehehe. God has given
me the gift of
poetry and stories and
I try my very best to use it. We’ve all
got gifts
from God, but some may not
be aware of them yet and some have
chosen not
to use them. Don’t make
the error of looking at another and
comparing.
Every gift has its own
place in life and even the smallest of
gifts can
stand out like a mountain.
We thank You God for all that You
have done for
our families and for
us as we strive through life to do our
best. We may
fall from time to time,
but through You we have strength
to stand up again
and continue on.
Now, I do believe it’s time for me to
begin my journey
back through all
that I’ve written here to see if I can
find a good word
or phrase that I can
use for the title for today’s brand new
poem. So,
it’s away I go, to that lil
place of my recollection that I always
like
to call RECOLLECT VILLE.
I think I may have found me a decent
title just
about a 3rd of the way back
in my rambling. Now to see if I can
do
anything at all with it. Here goes.
Looking At Another
Comparing
ourselves
with someone you see
might become flawed
just a slight
degree.
Looking at another
and deciding their style
might not see the
frown
that’s hidden by a smile.
Often ones fearful
will only show
you
the things that they wish
were really so true.
Yet ones
perspective
can but only define
the sights that they see
as a moment in
time.
Look now within you
and see what is there
and find what is
true
as an answer to prayer.
Looking at another
and saying who they
are
might not be so true
as inside may be a star.

Well, there ya go. I have spent my
life
being judged by my appearance and not
by who I am. There are many
that are
dumbfounded to find out who I actually
was and the fact that I’m
a poet and I’ve
been one for many decades. There are
many that thought I
was ignorant or
retarded, but did not see my humorous
side. Anyways, I
guess it’s time for me
to tell you what I tell you every week
and that
is, I wrote some more poetry
and haiku. Yeppers, 10 more poems
with 1
extra with 9 Christmas poems in
the mix. I hope you can find 1 or 2
of
either or both that you like. Now, I
do believe it’s time for me to
begin my
search for that hardly elusive off switch,
but not before I wish
you a wonderful
weekend or whatever’s left of it and a
truly blessings
filled week. Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too. Now,
where can
that cantankerous off switch
be hiding this week? Hmm, looking
around
the room for something out of
place or moving when it shouldn’t be
🙂
Aha, I see ya you little whippersnapper.
Hiding under the paper towel
that I
brought in with the food. It would of
been a good hiding spot if
it were not
for all of the movement. Could you
at least stay still for 5
or 10 minutes?
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzz.
God bless from
Bill, Judy, Benny, Rocky

Green With Envy
Times
of wantings
times of greed
we often get what
we don’t need.
Envying
others
and their own style
is often misjudging
someone’s
smile.
Green with envy
over many things
can be confusions
hidden
scenes.
You may not know
what’s going on
with ones we envy
of right
or wrong.
They might not be
as happy and well
as you are seeing
if
truly they’d tell.
The ones you envy
might surely be
with many
struggles
that you can’t see.
So don’t be fooled
by someone’s
life
for it might be
with tons of strife.
For they might just
be
looking at you
green with envy
for all that you do.

Sorted Threads
Winters remembered
times
long before
are now as the threads
to anew to explore.
Memories
enlightened
as moments unwind
found as mirror
reflecting a
time.
Many sorted threads
are tangles and weaves
a Christmassy
essence
of all the mind sees.
Assorted viewpoints
becoming our
dreams
seasons of memoirs
the greatest of things.
A wintertime
photo
unleashes its view
within sorted threads
of old and anew.
It’s
a heavenly feeling
that stays on the mind
as a Christmassy day
of a
special design.
We all have moments
that live deep within
found in our
memories
a time way back when.
Passages flavored as
times sorted
threads
pouring as water
filling life’s riverbeds.
Leaving a small
trace
of minutes that pass
textured as a moment
of our shadowy
cast.
Then may seem illusion
that slowly drifts away
leaving sorted
threads
in our day after day.

Dreamer’s Hue
Looking out to sea
with eyes opened
wide
a dream of a moment
can then be applied.
Scented of the
ocean
as waves crash ashore
time is but an essence
of a scene to
explore.
A dreamer’s hue of life
that the sunshine shows
minutes turn
to hours
each moment bestows.
Bright rays of sunshine
come melding
within
giving a dreamer’s hue
a glimpse of the wind.
Time blowing
briskly
as the sunshine displays
mildness of heartbeats
on warm summer
days.
A dreamer’s hue grows
with the colors of time
becoming a melting
pot
for eyes then to dine.
It is but as a dream
that a moment
allows
giving all the pleasures
a dreamer’s hue endows.
So if you are
searching
for a place of release
allow a dreamer’s hue
to picture some
peace.

The Last Christmas Tree
There once was a time
that Christmas prevailed
showing
everything
that the season entailed.
Christmas stockings hung
by the
old fireplace
with the sight of children
and a winter’s embrace.
The
tree stood decorated
waiting for the time
for Santa Clause to come
with
his jolly frame of mind.
Putting presents under
the tree with many
lights
scented with the aroma
of the Christmassy nights.
But yet on the
wayside
of an old country road
there was a Christmas tree
with no ones
abode.
It waited to be purchased
as Christmas passed by
then it leaned
over
and just began to cry.
It was a beautiful tree
that ended up
alone
just standing all by itself
without not a home.
Yet someone saw
it
and purchased it as well
then the last Christmas tree
had a home
then to dwell.

After Winter
The melting snow
of Christmas past
begins its show,
but
not too fast.
It still displays
the scenic sights
after winter
days
and nights.
Snow’s still found
in many places
Christmas scenes
of
scenic traces.
For after winter
time moves on
leaving memories
dusk
to dawn.
Times recorded
within our minds
after winter
great
designs.
We remember that
Christmas cheer
the time of life
each
passing year.
So many things
that we recall
a child of joy
a
bouncing ball.
The melting snow
displays a sight
that’s after
winter
less of white.

Season’s Cuisine
A snowy matinee
of a seasonal quest
shows but a time
it
displays the best.
White snowy scenes
a glimmer of style
displays a
time
of a wintery while.
Christmastime sights
in a wintertime
way
become as a view
of a joyful display.
Snow flakes falling
become
as a view
that’s piled so high
in life thereunto.
As a Christmas
card
from heaven above
a season’s cuisine
is filled full of love.
It
awakens hearts
that once had slept
and cheers the ones
that once has
wept.
Seeming as magic
the snow falls down
flakes float sweetly
to
land all around.
It is a Christmassy
moment of dream
found within
winter
as season’s cuisine.

Afternoon’s Past
Latent memories
fall to the
side
leaving a display
of a down hill ride.
The sun fades
away
leaving little light
as afternoon’s past
sinks out of sight.
It
seems as a recital
Christmas to come
afternoon’s past
and its sinking
sun.
Snow laden scenes
as a tasty treat
a sight so magical
time
can’t compete.
It becomes a story
a Christmas delight
as ones
remember
a distinctive sight.
A journey with snow
in a Christmassy
way
gets better each time
in its own display.
Afternoon’s past
of a
seasonal style
transforms sadness
to a heartfelt smile
and then that
smile
reflects on others
mothers and sisters
fathers and
brothers.
This is a moment
that times transform
an afternoon’s
past
to new days born.
Bringing alive hearts
that once were
aghast
Christmastime scenes
in afternoon’s past.

Early Winter
Driving through stages
of
wintertime’s view
displays many sights
with an essence of blue.
The sky
is inviting
my eyes to perceive
all of the clouds
that winter did
weave.
In a web of winter
comes scene’s delight
the beginning of
times
all covered in white.
As an early winter
comes in with a
task
it brings many moments
remembered from past.
Just like a life’s
novel
that writers enhance
winter is emotions
as a song and
dance.
Often as snowflakes
begin with a style
life brings alive
then
a Christmastime smile.
A time in early winter
with its own cup of
tea
flavored with snowflakes
that so many see.
Yet many people
only
see in their dreams
a time of early winter
with white snowy
scenes.

Beyond Memories
The life of time
creates its view
as minutes pass
from
old to new.
Beyond memories
lifetimes unfold
a story a venture
that
someone told.
Set in a picture
moments unwind
within memories
a
timeless design.
Snow within view
of a wintery day
displays
blessings
a Christmas array.
Stories of God
and Jesus His
Son
brought us a life
for new days begun.
Found as a guide
to show
us a path
a venture in time
from our aftermath.
Given as
blessings
to teach us well
a heavenly journey
away from Hell.
A snow
filled scene
with distant trees
brings life in view
beyond
memories.

Crystal Sights
As roads lead on
the way they go
they might be found
with
winter’s snow.
For as the seasons
are then and gone
those crystal
sights
might then live on.
Wintertime’s days
become as a sight
a
scene so serene
with snow of white.
It seems to speak
of wondrous
things
Christmas sights
to fill our dreams.
A road of winter
passing
through
becomes a life
with thereunto.
The snowflakes fall
and
create a style
with crystal sights
for many a mile.
With a snowy
touch
of whitish ways
it shows Christmas
for ones to gaze.
So within
winter’s
days and nights
search for a sign
of the crystal
sights.

Beauty of Christmas
Some only see
what winter displays
and do not see
the
magical ways.
A sparkle of hope
comes alive within
as snow flakes
fall
beginning to end.
They paint pictures
of Christmastime
as the
artist above
is Lord God Divine.
Beauty of Christmas
is a sight to
find
with maybe no snow,
but inside your mind.
Look for the
gift
that the day prevails
as a magical time
the bible entails.
For
even just a spark
of Heaven above
can bring alive
that Christmas
love.
Allow for a breath
of Christmastime
to bring you alive
with
blessings to find.
Beauty of Christmas
can give you a smile
with peace
and love
of a Heavenly style.

Haiku
for Dec 15, 2018
Looking through windows
you
might not hear any words
and sights are misread.
Life is like
lightning
as it strikes when not ready
and gives us a jolt.
A field
full of time
presents minutes as seconds
as hurry invades.
Need is
misinformed
as wanting may take over
and tell you a lie.
With life
there is death
that brings about more life
that is of
spirit.
Challenges strengthen
as we grow stronger in
stride
learning from errors.
Living in a lie
only causes
suffering
for truth will be seen.
Flavors of ice cream
are as many
types of life
and ones decisions.
Struggling through life
can
either teach us better
or cause us to quit.
Beyond the
starlight
holds another world to see
that time has hidden.
A fist
full of cash
can’t truly make you happy,
for you soon want
more.
Living in a dream
can often become nightmares
as life
awakens.
Seeking for a goal
that is too far out of reach
can be
your downfall.
Judging another
by what that you are seeing
might
not show the facts.
Life is like snowflakes,
for time presents its
chances
that might melt away.
When thinking too much
ones brain
might become stagnant
with previous thoughts.
Counting your
blessings
can help you to move forward
with a hopeful mind.
So
many minutes
slip past our daily travels
becoming unseen.
Change is
much needed,
for we all become stagnant
when boredom strikes
us.
The leaves of a tree
become as an hourglass
telling the
seasons.
Xeroxing a frame
as your own reproduction
will not act the
same.
If you cannot swim
don’t jump in the deep water,
for you
might just drown.
