Walk Around

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been yet another week to pass us by
and Halloween is creeping up fast LOL.
Yep,  this month is passing us by quickly.
Judy and I have been enjoying the cool
weather.  The leaves on the trees are still
with a lot of color,  but many are falling.
Soon all of the non evergreen trees will
be leafless with barren branches.  Yep 🙂
and soon the snowflakes will begin their
quest for the ground acting as a blanket
to cover the fallen leaves.  It’s been a
crazy year,  hasn’t it.  So many things
have changed.  I’m just praying that life
finds a way to overthrow the weeds and
allow for a breath of fresh air to breathe.
Judy,  I and the boys (Benny and Rocky)
have been just hanging loose watching
the days pass us by.  We took a little trip
to Houlton Thursday and I, as I always
do,  took pictures.  But this time I had
forgotten to change out the batteries in
my camera,  so my batteries were pretty
much dead from our anniversary drive
up north Oct 2 LOL.  Anyways, we were
headed to Walmart to do some shopping
so I bought me some non rechargeable
AA batteries for my camera,  so that we
could stop at the Houlton walking bridge
and I could take some pictures.  There
was still a lot of color in the leaves.  On
my little walk around the river I headed
out on the little walking trail that goes
right beside the river.  On that stroll I
happened upon a black cat,  that just
seemed to watch me as I walked passed
it and on my way back to the car.  It
reminded me of a Halloween cat and so
I did a Halloween poetry picture using
one of the pictures I took of it hehehe.
Anyways,  like I said,  the colors were
still quite brilliant.  I took quite a few
pictures and I’m sure that many of them
will end up in my stationery 🙂  So,  what
else is there to talk about.  Well it looks
like our new neighbors are all moved in.
They have been doing some work on the
house since they’ve moved in,  such as
building a new porch and all as well as
buying a large shed to store things in.
So,  it looks as though they might hang
around for a while,  but then I thought
that about our last neighbors hehehe.
They had built a shed and set up a big
swimming pool for the kids as well as
built a porch for their home,  but they
moved last year LOL.  So,  we shall see
how long these people last.  They’re a
bit older than Judy and I.  He’s 78 and
I believe his wife is near the same age
as him younger or older,  I have not
a clue and I’m not asking hehehe LOL.
So,  what else is there to tell ya?  Well,
I guess I could tell ya more about our
venture Thursday 🙂   It didn’t end with
the new batteries and pictures.  Nope,
it seems that our live in spirit has been
busy learning how to move large objects.
Yep,  I went to put my batteries on the
charger and noticed that the batteries
had been moved.  I mean,  there were
only the batteries that were charged in
the charger.  All of the other batteries
were gone and 2 packages on 9 volt
batteries had been moved to where all
of the AA batteries were.  I asked Judy
if she moved them and she had no clue
about them.  Neither of us had moved
them.  They’ve been in the same spot
for a number of years and we haven’t
moved them.  Anyways,  I know that
we have some active spirits that reside
here with us.  Yes,  GHOST.  So  all I
could do was to hope they turned up.
I went and checked to see if they had
returned before we went to bed and
they were still missing so I said real
loudly,  OK fun’s fun,  now would you
please put the batteries back where
they belong.  When we got up Friday
morning I told Judy,  I’m gonna check
on the batteries,  and low and behold,
there they were with the large 40 Volt
snow blower battery on top of them as
it was supposed to be.  The front door
was locked as always so nobody could
of snuck in despite the fact that our
boys would of gone ballistic if they had
heard someone.  So,  that’s our weird
but lively home for ya LOL.  I feel
as though Heaven is a place that you
are happiest.  I told my mom about
the visit and all and she said “it sounds
like your dad”  Yes,  my dad did love
to hide things from me,  so it could be
him just having fun.  I can often feel
him with his hand on my shoulder as
I write my poetry as he used to do 🙂
Anyways,  The Pearce’s Place is still
hanging in there with adventures that
become our photographs and poetry.
I’m sure that God is watching over us
as He has from day one.  We have many
angels around us watching over us for
we can sense them time to time as life
turns and twist with the good and bad
of expectations.  Thank You God for
all that You do for us and all that You
will surely do.  AMEN…  Now I believe
it’s time for me to begin my little quest
back through all that I’ve written here
to see if I can find me a good word or
phrase that I can use for the title for
today’s brand new poem.  So,  it’s away
I go,  to that place of my recollection
that I always like to call RECOLLECT
VILLE.  I think I may have stumbled
on a decent title about a 3rd of the way
from the beginning of all my rambling
and now after checking I see that it has
not been used yet,  so used it shall be.
Here goes…

Walk Around

When some troubles
come your way
walk around
and kneel and pray.
Seek the blessings
times can give
walk around
and learn to live.
Don’t let hardships
be all you know
walk around
seek another flow.
While a moment
might hold pain
walk around
and see the gain.
Look beyond now
and find some peace
walk around
and find release.
The door to Heaven
will open wide
if you walk around
and let God inside.

There ya go.  LOL I know it’s not that
good,  but it’s the best I could do in a
quick moment using that title.  Anyways,
I hope you enjoyed all of my rambling
and maybe even the poem.  So let me
see if I can think of anything else to tell
you.  Oh yea,  my mom moved to Dallas
or the Dallas area.  I know she’s gonna
miss her friends and all in Greenville 🙁
but she felt she needed to move.  Please
keep her in your prayers as she adjust
to the apartment she moved into.  She
said she’s already made friends with one
of her neighbors,  so hopefully she can
make more friends.  So,  what else is
there to tell ya?  Well I reckon all I’ve
got left is what I tell you every week
and that is,  I wrote some more poems
and haiku.  Yeppers,  I wrote 10 more
poems with 1 being Christmassy and 3
of them being Halloween poems LOL.
I also wrote 22 more haiku for all of
the haiku lovers out there.  I hope you
can find 1 or 2 of either or both that
you like.  Now I believe it’s time for me
to begin searching for that ornery off
switch that is hardly elusive,  but not
before I wish you a most wonderful
Columbus/ Indigenous Peoples Day
and remember Jesus loves you and
we do too.  Now,  where can that dad
burned off switch be trying to hide
this time?  Hmm.  where can that silly
thing be hiding this time??????????
LOL I think I see movement behind
my headset 🙂  Yep,  I see ya.  So what
are ya listening to?  Rock and roll 🙂
So that explains why the handset was
rocking back and forth hahahahaha.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

Colors of Hue

Eyes of a season
view that of time
the colors of hue
inside of the mind.
Seasonal moments
the colors so true
seem as windows
we often pursue.
Counted arrivals
perspectives seen
the colors of hue
as orange to green.
Changing the tint
of a seasonal gaze
creates the magic
of artful displays.
A so distant scene
of colorful leaves
might be a sight
as autumn weaves.
Created with time
as minutes pass on
leaving the colors
soon to be gone.
Beyond a river
and bridge of style
the colors of hue
give us a smile.
Such as a rhythm
a magical dream
the colors of hue
reflect on a stream.
Maybe on a river
a reflected array
dreaming of times
a scenic display.
Seeming timeless
a wonderful view
God opens doors
to colors of hue.

Visions of Time

Traveling searching
ways to become
seeking for trying to
beat our own drum.
These are the visions
that so many seek
rolling down roads
week after week.
In search of mindsets
as the way you view
ones of a scenario
that’s just like you.
Yet in our visions
we may be confused
with how that we are
but only bemused.
Watching people roll
in their ways of life
we might envision
as ours only strife.
Not seeing the good
that has surely been
but only the sadness
again and again.
Look for the beauty
look for the good
and don’t let time
to be misunderstood.
The roads we travel
inside of our mind
need to see clearly
the visions of time.

Halloween Phase

Gourds of a garden
might lay around
the airiness of style
of ghoulish astound.
Maybe of a dream
or nightmare to see
a Halloween phase
that is so scarily.
A wagon full of time
of orange and green
pumpkins and more
displaying Halloween.
You may then think
of a cartoon show
of old Charlie Brown
many years ago.
A Halloween phase
that begins with time
as a date to elate
an awesome design.
Enjoy the moments,
enjoy the view
that after horror,
gives candy to you.
The moment is short,
but delivers a scare
a trick or treat night
with ones do or dare.
Seek the goodness
of so much to gaze
found in the nights of
Halloween phase.

The Pumpkin Patch

With every season
comes such a time
found as a moment
to then only find.
Some see winter
as just but a phase
snowy white scenes
creating displays.
Some see spring as
flowers and trees
and then in summer
with bumble bees.
Yet many become
as actors of times
in Halloween scenes
of scary designs.
Pumpkins growing
 within a large field
giving us Halloween
then which to yield.
Creating lanterns
with scary faces
eyes and teeth
in so many cases.
Some use pumpkins
to carry their gain
all of the candy
that they did attain.
Seeming timeless
it all does dispatch
the gourds found in
the pumpkin patch.

Instilled in Autumn

Walking on a trail
through autumn’s face
the colors explode
all over the place.
Those heavenly colors
that only begin
as a seasonal stage
for time to transcend.
Colors of majesty
colors so divine
instilled in autumn
and within the mind.
A God filled moment
when seconds unite
becoming as Heaven
to shine in the light.
The seasonal ventures
of walks through time
on a trail of decisions
can clear your mind.
Take on the footsteps
and trudge on through
instilled in autumn
and enjoy the view.

Invisible Storms

Life might show
some distant days
that might be blue
or maybe grays.
Beyond our sight
might surely be
an invisible storm
that we can’t see.
So many people
with invisible pain
are fighting storms
of invisible rain.
Try not to judge
if you do not know
the weight of life
that so many know.
For our eyesight
might be blind
to all the storms
within their mind.
So take the time
to say a prayer
for ones in life
needing some air.
Judging quickly
with ones you view
just might fall back
and land on you.
Invisible storms
of the days gone by
might be the tears
that so many cry.
 Search your mind
and try to see
the invisible storms
and set them free.
Be an umbrella
and help transform
a life of love from
invisible storms.

Sentimental Moments

Living as our ripples
flowing within streams
times so sentimental
live within our dreams.
Living breathing life
of time and time again
sentimental moments
thriving as the wind.
Often there are times
a stage of life reveals
a page just like a story
as some paddle wheels.
Maybe words of water
or just a motor boat
sentimental moments
keeping minds afloat.
Harnessing a dream
and letting it to thrive
can for a mere moment
keep you well alive.
For as you’re dreaming
a sight might become
a living breathing life
beating like a drum.
So take on a journey
to a so distant place
a time you remember
a moment you embrace.
Find then the heartbeat
as a waterway tour
sentimental moments
of a lovingly allure.

Coming of Winter

The seasons change
bringing us views
echoes of the past
as moments infuse.
Time begins ticking
as clocks on a wall
bringing forth scenes
that stand so tall.
Winter brings snow
as it falls to Earth
seasons come alive
with heavenly birth.
Then as if magic
Christmas appears
as coming of winter
most surely adheres.
Scenes with children
making snowmen
become as the sights
seen again and again.
Some making angels
as wings in the snow
as coming of winter
is a glorious glow.
Shining like crystals
within the sunlight
displayed like magic
a wonderful sight.
The coming of winter
brings forth a view
with lights twinkling
red,  green and blue.
Then for a moment
you might see a plow
clearing off the road
then giving a bow.
A Christmas angel
to help ones to drive
the coming of winter
and then stay alive.

Gilded Thoughts

Seen as illusions
thoughts may appear
as a time and place
of our yesteryear.
Our gilded thoughts
of a mere memory
sitting on a bench
near an autumn tree.
Time might enlighten
the thoughts within
as our remembrance
becomes alive again.
Dreams of splendor
scenes we reminisce
as gilded adventures
of a seasons kiss.
Gilded as blessings
of times of the past
painted in the mind
with living contrast.
Scented of a moment
scented of a dream
gilded expressions of
something we’ve seen.
Moments can behold
what cannot be lost
if we learn to dream
of gilded thoughts.

Cat of Allhallows Eve

Looking to the wind
where trees reside
I saw a black cat
sitting just aside.
It purred of a smile
as I walked right by
this cat of adventure
I passed with a sigh.
It made me to think
of the fables of life
ones of a black cat
thought to give strife.
Yet I looked onwards
as ahead I strolled
holding my head up
with thoughts so bold.
But when I returned
back the other way
the cat had relocated
to another display.
It watched and smiled
with a kitty cat grin
as I took its picture
again and again.
I kept taking pictures
as I walked on passed
giving me memories
as shadows to cast.
It made to me smile
as I sought to leave
the sight of the cat
of Allhallows Eve.

Haiku
for Oct 12,  2019

Beyond a storm cloud
there might be a few raindrops
creating rainbows.

Without some troubles
strength cannot ever blossom,
for we need struggles.

Various are minds
that may look as they’re alike,
but thinking differs.

Lost in perception
a field can become as Hell
unless you plant right.

Change comes from within,
for what that is external
might display wrongly.

Planting a garden
requires good seed to plant
and some love and care.

Finding perfection
needs knowing where you’re to look,
for it’s found in God.

Self can destroy you,
for self can get lost in time,
so look for the truth.

Youthful expressions
only sound good to the youth,
so stay in your lane.

When painting pictures
try to make them your visions,
not someone else’s.

With a leap of faith
time can be a breath of air
breathed into your life.

Living for the now
and not preparing for then,
could become trouble.

A glimpse of autumn
can become heavens colors
scattered all around.

Sharing your heartbeat
with one with an empty heart
can make theirs be filled.

Loving illusions
might only become as dreams
awaiting demise.

Doorways through our life
become windows for others
to see who we are.

Hurried velocity
can cause you to crash and burn
so take it in stride.

Seeking adventure
without learning what it cost
could find disaster.

The length of a chain
that we put upon ourselves
can prevent our growth.

Flowers of a day
can become our memories
as they fade away.

Our lost connections
might just be some wires crossed
due to withered minds.

Being greased lightning
can also cause you to fail
becoming burned out,
