You Never Know

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

I’m back.  I was not feeling well last weekend
and had to spend time in bed recouping.  I’m
feeling a bit better now.  Judy has been with
her brother that is in the hospital in Bangor,
but she came home last Monday and it seems
Ricky is doing a little better.  Although,  it’s
all just a guessing game.  Anyways,  on with
my journal.  The remainder of last week was
pretty nice having Judy home with me so we
could catch up on all our favorite television
programs that I recorded on the DVR LOL.
The boys/dogs missed Judy and almost drove
me crazy when one of them (being that one
was mostly Benny) would hear a noise and
then start Rocky spinning around in circles
with excitement thinking Judy was home LOL.
The funny thing is,  that when Judy did get
home,  I heard the car door and heard her
as she came in the house,  but they didn’t 🙂
I guess Benny had given up listening for her,
but I never did LOL.  I didn’t actually hear
her,  but I felt the vibrations of the doors
shutting and all,  plus I can hear low decibels
a whole lot better than high decibels.  Which
means,  it is really hard for me to hear people
that talk or sing with high pitched voices or
soft voices.  Next topic.  The weather has
been on the wintery side.   It’s 18 F degrees
right now at 5:30 PM.  It’s supposed to be
9 degrees by morning.  I’m glad I was able
to fill our oil tank full.  It should hold us
till maybe February and by then I will have
enough on tab where we buy our heating oil
to buy another 100 gallons or more.  So,
what else has gone on around this place since
week before last?  Well as for around this
place,  not much.  Judy has been driving
back and forth to Bangor to be with her
brother Ricky.  She was not able to sleep
well on a recliner in Ricky’s room.  She is
so glad to be able to finally sleep in her
own bed 🙂  There were times when I was
not doing well and with Tremors that I
called for her forgetting she wasn’t home.
My mind was being rattled in the worst
way LOL,   but I’m doing better now.  I’ve
never had the tremors before and I don’t
want them again LOL  They might have
begun due to my nerves from all that has
been going on with Ricky and worrying
about Judy.  You never know hehehe.  So,
What else is there to tell ya?  Well I took
a few pictures the week before last and I’m
reasonably sure that I’ll put many of them
in my stationery,  being I didn’t take any
pictures last week LOL.  Also November
6 was Judy’s birthday,  but she didn’t feel
much like eating out and so on her drive
home from Bangor she stopped by KFC/
Taco Bell and got take out and brought
it home.  When I was waiting for her to
get home I walked out to check the mail
and the boys came outside to watch me
as I walked to the road and back.  They
know better than to walk with me to the
mailbox.  I took a few pictures of them.
LOL the funny thing is,  that the grass
was green,  but the very next day it began
snowing and the green was gone.  Yep,  it
looks like winter is here to stay for a few
months.  When we get paid again next
month,  we’re gonna buy Judy a birthday
cake.  A small one being neither of us need
to be eating a full blown birthday cake 🙂
We’ve been tight with finances with all of
her 240 mile round trips to Bangor and
back to check on Ricky.  I had our oil
tank filled the first of the month.  It seems
we still had quite a bit of kerosene in our
tank being the delivery guy could only get
160 gallons in it LOL.  This winter might
turn out to be one of our most frigid,  but
only God knows.  In any case I wanted to
make sure we had enough heating oil to
keep us warm.  God has been good to us
and given us what we need.  Mostly an
ability to do what we need to do and when
we are unable,  He steps in and gives us a
hand.  We’ve got many angels watching
over us as well as some live in spirits that
have made our home as their home and
that’s fine by us.  We are so thankful for
all of the many blessings that have come
into our lives.  Thank You God for all that
You have done and all that You will do.
I reckon it’s time for me to take a little
journey back through all that I’ve written
here to see if I find a good word or phrase
that I can use for the title for today’s new
poem.  So,  it’s away I go to that place of
my recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I may of
found a decent title about halfway back
through my rambling and it seems that I
have not used it as of yet,  so used it shall
be 🙂  Here goes…

You Never Know

The minutes that pass us
might in a way
become of importance
on some other day.
The things we’ve ignored
as just but a time
might become seasons
with lessons to find.
Living as regretfulness,
living as some rain
what that passed you by
may of held a gain.
Moments of a turnstile
seconds ticking on
need to have our focus
before they are all gone.
You might be surprised
how each time connects
bringing into sight
the lessons of effects.
God has ways of teaching
lifetimes within view
giving us what we need
to do what we should do.
Seasons might surely hide
some lessons in the snow
or maybe in the grass,
yet you never know.

There ya go.  I hope you liked the poem and
it made a little bit of sense to ya.  Also I hope
you enjoyed my rambling.  I bet you were in
hopes of a lil longer break from my mindless
ramblings huh LOL.  Well,  I believe I have
told you all there is to tell for this week other
than what I tell you almost every week and
that is I wrote some more poems and haiku.
Of course all but one of the poems is from
the previous week. Yep,  I wrote 10 poems
with 4 extras.  One is  Christmas poem and
another is the birthday poem I wrote for my
beloved Judy.  I also wrote 22 more haiku
for all of the haiku lovers out there.  I hope
you can find one or 2 of either or both that
you like.  Now,  I believe it’s time for me
to begin my search for that hardly elusive
off switch,  but not before I wish you a most
wonderful blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  Okie dokie
so where can that ornery off switch be trying
to hide this time.  It’s had an extra week to
find a hiding spot.  Well,  it doesn’t look as
though you used that time to do anything
but dilly-dally hehehe.   I could of found
ya with my eyes shut,  being you seemed to
of forgotten what day it is Hahahahahaha.
Taking a little snooze on my old K2 meter
are ya.  Well I hope you got some rest and
maybe do better next week.  At least try 🙂
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky

Within The Sky

An evening sky
begins its quest
to change to night
a moment’s rest.
Unleashing stars
into its design
creating pictures
astronomers find.
Timeless seeming
as seasons afar
the sun moves on
to show every star.
As that of a wake
of an ocean view
the sky unleashes
a fading of blue.
Dispersed as pages
into every scene
some as daylight
some as a dream.
Look on beyond
an evening’s sight
and find the best
that leads to night.
Absorb the view
into your heart
and let it become
a work of art.
For seconds pass
I cannot deny
as life continues
within the sky.

Simplicity Thrives

Scenic are desires
as the time passes
leaving perspective
a pair of glasses.
An ocean’s banks
might show a view
simply as blessings
for me and for you.
Echoing silently
as ripples cascade
becoming voices
simplicity made.
Heard as whispers
within silent words
found in a moment
as a flock of birds.
Time is in essence
a moment arrives
found as blessings
simplicity thrives.

Road To Beginnings

Many of our travels
with our moments minds
bring us to the doors
that confusion unwinds.
Becoming misconceived
over mounds and holes
a road to beginnings
might hide all the goals.
Often our decisions
are choices of design
scented with the styles of
another corrupted mind.
You may have seen one
then doing such a thing
thinking for a moment
its a wonderful scene.
A road to beginnings
paths you must choose
needs to be in sync with
what God wants for you.
So say a little prayer
before you begin walking
and listen to Him closely
while you’re not talking.
Take heed the reigns
of your own daily quest
and use all the lessons
to better your best.
Seasons will change to
decipher your winnings
as you travel down
the road to beginnings.

Sky of Prayer

Glimmering shimmering
as blessings impart
the sky up above us
gives heavenly art.
Scenes that of oceans
and currents within
find their emotions
as the winds transcend.
Our life begins a journey
as we look up to see
prayerful reminders
that God’s given free.
Seasons upon seasons
become a windowpane
to ever so often then
pour down like rain.
It’s a continuing journey
that God intervenes
creating more framework
to find in our dreams.
Embrace the moments
that a sky displays
and find within them
some much better days.
Seek for the many views
the heavens can give,
take heed the moments
that God did forgive.
Find deep within you
a breath of fresh air
when you look upwards
at a sky of prayer.

An Idle Swing

As life moves on
so many will pause
looking for reason,
looking for cause.
Sometimes moments
just need us to sway
using what we have
in our day to day.
Swing with a smile
and let life to flow
doing your best
wherever you go.
Allow life to swing
as it needs to be,
becoming as you,
becoming as me.
Find the meanings
the reasons for time
as you continue to
form your design.
Find perspectives
on now and again
as you’re swinging
within the wind.
Locate harmonies
that life can bring,
for nothing happens
in an idle swing.

Thoughts May Drift

Life might entangle
a thought or two
many encounters
may come in view.
Bringing emotions
into our tomorrows
often with happiness
often with sorrows.
Synching up scenes
remembered so well
that then become
a moment to tell.
Told as the stories
of all our desires
thoughts may drift
then as wildfires.
Becoming as colors
an abundant array
then as the dreams
of another fine day.
Times breathtaking
memoirs of wind
written as stages
beginning to end.
Displaying moments
that moved so swift
becoming as echoes
thoughts may drift.

My Birthday Pal

This special day
that years gave true
shows how that God
brought me to you.
Scenes encountered
with each rising sun
brought even closer
the new days begun.
You and I together
still in love this day
as we take photos
in every which way.
Often taking pictures
of just you and I
standing in sunlight
beneath a clear sky.
We might take photos
of an ocean’s allure
waves crashing in on
our love so pure.
My wish for you is
a birthday with smiles
scented of our love
and all it compiles.
You’re most surely
a wonderful gal
my wife and friend
my birthday pal.

I love you Judy
HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Sight of Heaven

Through a looking glass
the minutes might shine
as a place you remember
from a so distant time.
Within the reflections
you might then perceive
a moment you recorded
that’s wished to conceive.
Becoming as a doorway
to moments to explore
as that of shadows
that you truly do adore.
Open up the windows
to your dreamers array
and unleash the times
of a so distant day.
See all of the flowers
each wondrous design
and let them live on
inside of your mind.
Make them as memoirs
that are written inside
the times you remember
of a so distant ride.
The sights of blessings
that came into view
a sight of Heaven
that God gave to you.

Clear Blue Sky

Seasons will display
the times as a scene
maybe a blue sky
and grasses of green.
Life might envelop
your eyes for a while
as time brings views
to give us a smile.
The minutes of then
might seem slow,
but when later seen
may hurriedly flow.
Becoming as a river
or a passing view
or maybe a pond
under a sky of blue.
Times remembered
might not be clear
that of a moment
of a yesteryear.
Search for the times
search for a dream
a sight beneath a sky
with a glorious scene.
A season of sunshine
a season of bliss
a time that’s defined
as a heavenly kiss.
Seek for the blessings
as moments fly by
of a God given day
and a clear blue sky.

Our Perspective

A worn out shoe
or scenic design
can become as
our frame of mind.
A distant place
as time displays
our perspective
becomes a phase.
As wishing wells
may hold dreams
our perspective
creates scenes.
We may not see
the cost affective,
but only the sight
of our perspective.

In Search of Peace

The light of our Father
glistens and shines
reflecting the emotions
of His awesome designs.
Many will overlook it
as just but a season
as time moves onwards
not seeing the reason.
Blissful is the dewdrop
that bonds with others
creating a lifestyle
of sisters and brothers.
The grasses of Heaven
are blessings so free
in a field of emotion
God gave you and me.
We need to find hearts
in the forms of peace
learning and forgiving
with moments release.
Search within the times
of a moment of mist
and find the artwork
love to coexist.
Find what God’s given
as minutes transcend
for behind a corner
you might find a friend.
One that looks different
you thought to police
one that’s needed when
in search of peace.

Sometimes a Picture

Sparkling as sunshine
twinkling at a gaze
often what we see
is just but a phase.
So timeless as a scene
within snow of white
as a page of an age
with a magical sight.
You might remember
a distant memory
and place and a time
that you failed to see.
You may have seen it
as you passed it by,
but simply ignored it,
that you cannot deny.
So often like a dream
life fades from view
leaving only shadows
of moments so true.
Maybe even the scent
of things will detail
a time like a rhyme
or the sweetest smell.
Snow well highlighted
by the gleaming sun
beckoning a glimpse
for a moment of fun.
Many times memories
are that of a mixture,
sometimes emotions,
sometimes a picture.

The Story Begins

Life in existence
rumbles and roars
opening windows
and opening doors.
We might encounter
wonderful things
passionate true love
seeming as dreams.
The story begins
as that of a breath
taking the strides
leading to death.
It’s our beginnings
as dust we become,
for as life begins
our spirits are spun.
Seek for Heaven
or journey to Hell
the story begins
with a mere exhale.
Look in the mirror
and search inside
and find the truth
don’t try to hide.
If you’re unhappy
with what you see
give prayer to God
be forgiven for free.
Just but a moment
can rearrange winds
as minutes unfold
the story begins.

Saying Hello

As wintertime brings
its season’s designs
there may be ones with
Christmas type minds.
Flourishing greatly
with dreams of white
snowflakes falling
creating our delight.
Formed as a moment,
formed as a style
a time that snowflakes
create and compile.
There may be someone
enhanced deep within
a friend from a far
that times transcend.
We may just perceive
a withered array
that is really a blessing
in form of some gray.
Look for the memories
that live within you
and maybe even find
some pictures to view.
There’s many things
that Christmas entails
maybe of a photograph
with wondrous details
There may be puppies
that truly love snow
with Christmas smiles
just saying hello.

Haiku
for Nov 16,  2019

Today is just time
gathered from our yesterdays
that have come and gone.

Breathing in a breath
does not consummate a life,
for it must be real.

Changing the future
begins with changing today
and how we’re thinking.

Behind a liar
stands the truth and its shadows
waiting to be seen.

Written in the wind
there are versions of lifestyles
awaiting for flight.

Echoes of nature
begin with the smallest sounds
becoming larger.

Trees that may fall down
leave memories of themselves
from where they once stood.

Looking beyond walls
you might discover stories
that time hid away.

When having bad luck
it could be just a moment
or some bad karma.

Hands that hold tightly
to what all they do not need,
might end up empty.

Sharing and caring
creates a circle of hope
if it is for good.

Time is perception
that many perceive wrongly,
for they’re with hurry.

The songs of nature
are of many wondrous tunes
becoming echoes.

A field of snowflakes
is a photographer’s dream
when nearing Christmas.

Autumn memories
can become the fuel for life
as many colors.

Fires of our hearts
can become extinguished flames
if we don’t add fuel.

Having and holding
does not mean that it is yours,
for it might be mine.

A gloom of evening
can become a starry night
filled with many dreams.

The essence of love
is as cups full of Heaven
with a moon to gaze.

When feeding your fears
you give strength for your worries
and no hope for facts.

Dreaming of springtime
can unleash flowers of life
as the dreams may grow.

Challenging yourself
on things you know nothing of
could end with despair.
