Once Again

Hello my friends

It’s a windy day today.  That old wind is
talking up a storm or so to say hehehe 🙂
Benny keeps barking at it as if to tell it
to stop making so much racket LOL.  He
has made Rocky jump a few times when
he would bark without warning hehehe.
Well,  time to get started with this mess.
This passed week has been fairly on the
peaceful side.  Not much has happened.
Judy went down to Bangor to see some
cousins last Sunday and then Monday
I was not feeling well and so I didn’t go
with Judy to the cookout at her sister’s
house,  but Judy brought home some
food for me 🙂  That was so sweet of her.
Yep,  I’ve got a good wife.  She takes
good care of her hubby 🙂  So on with
the week.  Wednesday she went with
her sisters Barbara and Dena down to
Bangor for Dena’s doctor appointment.
Judy and Barb did some shopping and
what not while waiting for Dena to get
her PET scan.  Once again I sat at home
and wrote poetry LOL and people ask
how it is that I write so much poetry 🙂
LOL DUH!!!!  I spend a lot of time at
home.  I’m feeling a bit better,  but my
side still hurts a bit,  but then that’s a
story that may never end hehehe.  So,
looking on.  I made us a big pot of
goulash yesterday and it looks like we
will be eating goulash for the next few
days.   Judy made us potato pancakes
for our breakfast today and they were
GOOD.  We just now made plans to
go mini golfing if the weather is good
for our 19 year anniversary on Oct 2.
We had a great time on  my birthday
when we went.  My daughter Jamye
and granddaughter Sami are planning
on coming up at the end of this month
and if by chance they’re still here,  they
can come with us.  We might even do
some scenic picture taking.  The fall
colors should be amidst their changes.
I can smell winter coming.  It’s in the
air.  It got down to the mid 30’s last
night.  It’s getting near time to bring
the plants inside to keep them from
freezing.  I am thinking about tossing
all of the junk stuff that will not go
to the dump up under the porch LOL.
Out of sight,  ought of mind hehehe.
We need the room on our porch so
that we can move stuff around and
get it looking decent.  My roof repair
I did last summer seems to of held.
Thankfully I do not have to climb
back on top of that thing to do more
repairs being I’m scared of heights
a bit after the bad fall I had a few
years ago while at work.  Yep,  that
skull cracker put the fear of heights
in me for sure.   None the less,  I am
still among the living and God is still
watching out for Judy and I.  We can
feel His presence around us as well as
the many angels and spirits that are
always among us.  We are grateful for
the many blessings that God has given
us.  We are thankful for Him putting
us together when no other could have
done it.  Thank You God.  AMEN….
Now I believe it’s time for me to be
reading back on all that I’ve written
here to see if I can find a good word
or phrase that I can use for the title
for today’s brand new poem,  so it’s
away I go,  to that little place of my
recollection that I always like to call
have found a decent title about a 3rd
of the way from the beginning on my
rambling and now after checking I see
that it has not been used as of yet,  so,
used it shall be.  Here goes…

Once Again

Repeating minds
of thinking ways
creates a pattern
good and bad days.
Look for the good
in a repeating sense
and find the value
the better essence.
Once again maybe
might be a dream
or of a nightmare
a moment extreme.
So look closely,
see if you can tell
if it’s from Heaven
or if it’s from Hell.
Find the pathway
the truthful design
within the doorways
of time after time.
Learn to thank God
and then say AMEN
when seeing goodness
of then once again.

Well,  there ya go.  I hope you liked the
poem and even a little of my rambling.
It’s quiet right now as the boys are both
sound asleep in their doggy beds.  They
are both lying on their backs or were 🙂
Rocky just rolled onto his side.  We love
our little boys.  They keep us entertained
even when they sleep hehehe.  Benny has
a habit of snoring LOL.  Anyways,  that
seems to be all that I have for you this
week other than what I tell you almost
every week and that is,  I wrote some
more poems and haiku.  Yep,  10 more
poems, but with 3 Christmas poems in
the mix :).  I also wrote 22 more haiku
for all of the haiku lovers out there 🙂
I hope you can find 1 or 2 of either or
both that you like.  Now to find that
ornery hardly elusive off switch,  but
not before I wish you a blessings filled
week.  Remember,  Jesus loves you and
we do too.  Now,  where can that silly
off switch be trying to hide this time?
LOL Yes I know,  there are not that
many places to hide that you have not
already hidden,  but give me a break 🙂
Doing a tap dance on the keyboard to
my other computer is not hiding LOL.
It’s right in front of me you dummy.
Hello,  now next week try harder OK.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

Deep Blue

Beneath our sight
times move on
swishing swaying
singing a song.
Just like a dream
of an ocean deep
you might find
a time to keep.
Held within a life
of a distant day
a deep blue scene
might seem gray.
Just as a window
displays its find
all of our views
might unwind.
We might see life
a different hue
of another phase
within deep blue.

Ready For Winter

I envision a memory
that lives inside my head,
it’s a winter wonderland
with snow widely spread.
It lands upon the scenery
creating so much more
winter with a breath of air
is there to then explore.
It creates one by one,
snowflakes fall in place
frozen art from up above
that lands upon my face.
Becoming as a memory
that then was oh so grand
as it floats upon the Earth
and lands in my hand.
Yet now it’s summer
becoming close to fall
as the days move ahead
awaiting colors for all.
Life is like a chalkboard
ones erase for more to see
giving room for new life
to come and make it be.
So now my memory
gives forth a scenic sight,
one that of Christmas
that’s a wonderland white.
It comes within my view
sitting front and center.
I’m a Christmas dreamer
that’s ready for winter.

Strawberry Finch

There is this bird
a colorful hue
found within Asia
a wonderful view.
It’s a red munia
by another name
a strawberry finch
is just the same.
It flaps wings fast
to fly all around
singing its song
of a lower sound.
A whispering peep
heard in a sense
is this small bird
a strawberry finch.

Winter’s Coming

Time’s a ticking
seasons flow
winter’s coming
with some snow.
Just like a plow
time drives on
minutes passing
then and gone.
It might just be
a summer view,
but soon winter
will crash through.
Like a doorway
into a dance
seasons become
times romance.
Creating scenes
oh so stunning
as a snowplow
winter’s coming.

The Greener Things

God gives chances
choices to choose
and we might win
or we might lose.
So many chances
are like dynamite
and us as the fuses
awaiting to light.
We look for paths
greener to cross
as times so divine
we can’t see a loss.
Yet the pastures
of greener things
might only show
the better scenes.
For hidden within
may soon unveil
the times you find
a moment of Hell.
You might dream
with many wishes
but they’re often
just broken dishes.
Search on beyond
the wanted sights
and see the need
in heaven’s lights.
Let God give you
prayerful scenes
that are more than
the greener things.

Amidst a Wave

When looking out
to seas of time
sight might show
a scene to find.
It may become as
a turning page
within the waves
of age to age.
You might see life
an evening view
as time and place
becomes anew.
Amidst the waves
might expose
a breath of eve
a scenic rose.
Let not your sight
to but only see
all of the troubles
within history.
Seek for moments
of distant words
heard and seen
as ocean birds.
Find perspectives
within a smile
time’s perception
a certain style.
Let the blessings
of passing days
to be as strength
amidst a wave.

Scenic Dreams

A sky of night
becomes a path
a timeless tour
a shadow’s cast.
It forms dreams
of distant days
as scenic sights
a moon’s arrays.
So many stars
might be found
hidden within
the sky abound.
Creating sights
a magical view
to be explored
by me and you.
Time might be
an endless page
turning night
from age to age.
Engaging life
upon the sky
scenic dreams
a mind can fly.
 Giving chance
for life to form
creating times
God does adorn.
Twinkling sights
magical scenes
become so alive
as scenic dreams.

Stages of Christmas

Many times Christmas
is but only a view
that some dream of
with a wintery hue.
Yet some perceive it
as Santa and sleigh
delivering presents
before Christmas day.
So many only think of
the presents to get
while there are ones
with Jesus inset.
Stages of Christmas
form in the mind
as scenes of things
within our own design.
Some might remember
a special someone
a time in December
a father or son.
They might even see
a moment’s array
mother or daughter
on one Christmas day.
The season creates life
stages to be seen
beating as rhythms
of a wintery dream.
Open up your mind
to let your eyes see
stages of Christmas
maybe just a memory.

It May Look Bland

You might of seen
a place and time
that looked like life
of a dismal design.
It might be found
within a view
just like the echoes
of a time or two.
You might not see
the inner peace
with heavenly love
of God’s increase.
There might exist
a seasonal joy
that’s found within
a girl or a boy.
Christmas dreams
might be at hand
love so true though
it may look bland.

Springtime Arrives

Portions of a dream
can become our view
when spring arrives
with breath as anew.
It forms connections
relating to the snow
as it uses the melted
to help things grow.
Spring’s beginnings
are a turn of the page
blossoming life from
the snow covered stage.
Time may seem short
as soon it’s summer
 moments consuming
helping minds wander.
Within the changes
our eyes may perceive
a time that reminds
of what we did achieve.
We might view a barn
in the passing days
that once had snow
of a wintertime phase.
You might even see
an old house in sight
seen different from
the winters of white.
The season’s changes
that we see on drives
may seem as dreams
as springtime arrives.

When the wind’s blowing
it’s telling us its story
speaking from its heart.

Jumping too quickly
onto the roadways of time
might find some puddles.

Making decisions
needs a little common sense
as well as knowledge.

Change brings confusion
and confusion brings choices
and choices bring paths.

Looking to the sky
you might discover a cloud
that forms memories.

Lightning of a storm
creates beauty in the sky,
but fear down below.

Sought after moments
can turn into our nightmares
as the new wears off.

Windows and doorways
can let in many problems
when too gullible.

An ocean of waves
can become stories to tell
as sinking feelings.

The hands of a clock
hold only the time perceived
and not what has passed.

Changing now and then
gives arrangements of choices
for times discernment.

When naming something
it can create attachments
real hard to let go.

Paper that’s folded
can become as an airplane
to fly and to crash.

Sheltering too much
can prevent lessons of life
that later they’ll need.

Seasons of journeys
create pathways for photos,
memories to gain.

Now is just a place
that becomes somewhere to be
or someplace to leave.

Dreaming for futures
of desires and of wantings
can lead to sadness.

So many pages
of our life are but only
fields of illusions.

Framing a picture
with only your memories
might display regret.

Harnessing power
from a lifetime’s hurricane
can help you along.

The secrets we hide
can become the loneliness
that we created.

The branch of a tree
can become what that we fear
seen in night shadows.
