ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

Yet another week has passed and it seems
that spring is making an early showing up
here.  Yeppers,  It’s 56 degrees right now
at 5:30 PM.  Talk about weird weather for
March.  In the 13 plus years I have lived
up here I have never seen temperatures of
that range in March LOL.  We have had
more snow storms in March than any other
moment most times LOL.  The ground is
muddy and the boys do not like to walk
on it.  LOL I don’t blame them.  I would
not want to walk on it barefooted either.
Especially with all of their poop on it 🙂
I need to get out there with a shovel and
start shoveling their poop and tossing it
in the field hehehe.  Maybe tomorrow 🙂
Until then,  we have to watch where we
walk LOL and so do the boys.  Yeppers
springtime has sprung for yesterday was
the first legal day of it.  It usually makes
a late appearance up this way,  but not
this year 🙂  I hope this doesn’t mean we
are going to have an overly abundant
supply of bugs due to the weather being
so mild LOL.  OK,  next topic.  Judy and
I got our first vaccination last Tuesday
and waiting our 2nd on April 6. My mom
has been vaccinated and that makes me
worry a little less about her.  of course
just like the flue shots don’t always stop
it, but it’ll hopefully make the cases a bit
less than they would be without.  We will
continue protecting ourselves until we
are for sure the pandemic is over with.
What else is going on around this place?
Well,  Judy has been doing some artwork
and using her new easel.  I love Judy’s
creations.  I’ve still got 2 more books
to convert before I start uploading to
Amazon to begin the publishing.  LOL
I have already got half of another book
of poems.  I write a lot huh hehehe.  Yep
I write a lot.  Actually it’s the designing
of the poems into the pictures that takes
up most of the time.  Believe it or not,
I do enjoy writing and creating.  It’s my
form of entertainment aside from me
and Judy watching all of our favorite
TV programs together.  We enjoy our
time together watching TV.  We’re not
very exciting LOL.  My days now have
been involving watching the snow melt.
Yep,  tomorrow and Tuesday’s supposed
to be in a the lower 60’s and then the
upper 50’s for the rest of the week LOL.
Looking back on all my pictures from
years back,  this has never happened, at
least not since we moved up here 13 years
ago.  No matter,  there isn’t anything we
can do about it.  I’m just hoping that
the black flies and mosquitoes as well
the other bugs aren’t in overdrive this
summer.  I’m sure God will protect us
as He has always as well as the many
angels and spirits that watch over us.
Thank You God for all that You do for
us and all that You will do.  AMEN.
Now I do believe it’s time for me to be
reading back over all that I’ve written
here to see if I can find me a good word
or phrase that I can use for title for the
new poem today.  So it’s away I go,  to
that place of my recollection that I like
to call RECOLLECT VILLE.  It seems
as though I may have stumbled upon
a decent title near the halfway mark of
my rambling and now after checking I
see that it has not been used as of yet,
so used it shall be today.  Here goes…

To Begin

Time is a place
beginning to end
formed to become
enemy or friend.
Seasons will pass
becoming attune
to begin a path
morning to noon.
Then by evening
minutes bestow
nighttime coming
darkness to grow.
Showing starlight
pages are turned
then to begin with
stories discerned.
Seasons of hours
pass by like seed
planting moments
of all that we need.
God given times
daylight to dark
will begin to begin
as life to embark.

Well I hope you enjoyed my poem and
maybe even my rambling hehehe.  Yep
I do ramble don’t I.  This month seems
to be moving pretty quickly.  This year
seems to be a whole lot calmer than the
previous years and I am thankful for
that.  Judy’s behind me painting a new
picture.  She’s quite the artist.  I love
that gal.  We have our moments where
things aren’t so great,  but that’s life 🙂
Nobody goes through life without a few
quarrels from time to time.  Problems
are what that make us stronger.  They
are as seeds of growth.  Anyways,  that
is all I can think of to tell you other
than what I tell you almost every week
and that is,  I wrote some more poems
and haiku.  Yep,  10 more poems,  but
no Christmas poems this week.  Maybe
next week 🙂  I also wrote 22 more haiku
for all of the haiku lovers out there.  I
hope you can find 1 or 2 of either or
both that you like.  Now with that said
I reckon it’s time for me to begin my
search for that hardly elusive off switch,
but not before I wish you a wonderful
and blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  Now,
where can that ornery off switch be at
this week.  It’s not that great at hiding
ya know LOL.  Yet,  as I look around
the room,  I don’t see it.  Hmm,  what
is that I see behind my bottles of soap
to make bubbles LOL.  Yea,  I got that
to give the boys something to chase 🙂
Yeppers, I see ya peeking from behind
the green bottle.  You thought I would
not see ya didn’t ya LOL.  WRONG.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

Walking With Eyes

Seeing the scenery
whitest as snow
walking with eyes
times do bestow.
Life’s like dreams
or just a sight
walking with eyes
daytime to night.
Seeking a journey
to be a stage
walking with eyes
from age to age.
Unleash your sight
and begin stride
walking with eyes
letting life inside.

Seconds Pass

Often while waiting
time comes alive
with wanted wishes
many to strive.
Scenes as oceans
the seconds become
shining a brilliance
of a moment’s sun.
Maybe found lonely
or maybe just fine
living in a passage
of a second of time.
Seeming as shadows
the minutes procure
becoming an essence
of moments allure.
Sitting as a bird
awaiting for flight
the seconds pass on
to then out of sight.
Flowing as a breeze
with slow and fast
life is as a journey
as seconds pass.

Evening’s Empire

Daylight to dark
minutes tick on
becoming essence
of a scenic song.
Sung as sunlight
sinking from view
evening’s empire
of old to anew.
Beams of sunlight
shine to the end
saying goodbye
to a scenic friend.
One that of winter
or so it may seem
as evening comes
becoming a dream.
Open your eyes
and see its flame
evening’s empire
a time to attain.
Enjoy the times
of leftover fire
as the sun shows
evening’s empire.

Within The View

Life is a story
written in ages
minds designs
so many pages.
Turned as style
a time to see
within the view
of our history.
Sky of clouds
a scenic sight
forms a view
day and night.
Seeming signs
now an then
within the view
scenes begin.
Living voyage
is that of day
timeless life
upon display.
Framed to be
painted time
within the view
life’s design.
Silent sounds
whispers words
sounding like
flocks of birds.
Many passages
become seen
within the view
a living dream.

The Veil

Roads to then
a timeless tale
show us paths
through the veil.
Times displayed
as now and again
form a journey
way back when.
Becoming doors
choices to choose
as life and times
that may confuse.
Search the scenes
that are in view
and find the best
in thereunto.
Take your mind
and travel on
through the veil
dusk and dawn.
Seek the windows
of a timeless tale
 a God sent sight
through the veil.

Found Thoroughly

Now is a journal
a written memoir
a time so divine
as near to afar.
Creating seasons
scenes that show
maybe a moment
seconds of snow.
Seeming a dream
thoroughly ways,
but maybe blurry
timeless to gaze.
Time is an echo
minutes to form
creating windows
times to adorn.
With fallen snow
a season to see
life is as artwork
found thoroughly.

Lunar Twilight

Evening’s glow
comes into view
a sight to see
from old to new.
Lunar twilight
becomes a scene
just like magic
within a dream.
Seasons pass by
displaying views
sight of evening
moments infuse.
Giving us ways
a shadowy cast
twilight’s gleam
within contrast.
Times of life
as day to night
from up above
lunar twilight.

Colors of Memories

Written in the mind
are so many scenes
colors of memories
found within dreams.
Essence of beauty
with a colorful mind
becomes a window
of a wondrous design.
Seeming as artwork
a painting of style
colors of memories
that gives a big smile.
Maybe of autumn
or maybe just a view
as a time and place
that lives within you.
It’s like the rhythm
of a heart so pure
colors of memories
with dreamers allure.
Seasons of scenes
become as memoirs
shining as bright
as nighttime’s stars.
Found as heartbeats
sometime may form
colors of memories
our times may adorn.
Look within you
find oceans and seas
seasons of beauty
as colors of memories.

Springtime’s Boudoir

The lines on a face
can create a sight
dreamed in dreams
a springtime delight.
Formed as shadows
scented as a stage
springtime’s boudoir
of a passing of age.
Seeming as a book
a moment to read
springtime’s boudoir
beginning from seed.
An opened window
a time to consume
as eyes look upon
what comes attune.
Freshness of changes
as winter to spring
time is as a butterfly
and a song to sing.
Sung as a melody
from near to afar
is a moment within
springtime’s boudoir.

Fluffy as Cotton

A sky of illusions
creates a stage
fluffy as cotton
a turn of a page.
Written as stories
words in the sky
clouds become as
a scene to fly by.
Often raindrops
will form and fall
becoming scenes
we often recall.
Memories written
as scenic details
fluffy as cotton
a time prevails.
Leaving memoirs
way down below
seen as illusions
or passing shadow.
Timeless moments
we have forgotten
might be in clouds
fluffy as cotton.

Haiku
for Mar 20,  2021

Life is a journey
that many get lost within
and end up alone.

Leaving a question
as just curiosity
can become troubles.

The length of a chain
does not limit what we think,
for thoughts are freedom.

Here within moments
is the perception of time
that many confuse.

Looking for a path
in the midst of a heartbeat
might find a journey.

Scenic memories
are often shadows of time
that live within us.

Tomorrow’s portrait
is created by many
as hands of artwork.

Time is a moment
that ticks on so many ways
leaving memories.

Trivial designs
are often of confusion
seeming important.

The threads of nature
are sewed together in time
to create life’s stage.

Trails within the wind
are often clouds passing by
forming a story.

Thinking too deeply
can create many problems
that are not present.

Shadows of a tree
might seem to be real scary,
but only a limb.

Night brings some starlight
as the moonlight joins the scene
helping us to dream.

Glancing at the sky
you might see many blessings
that give you some peace.

Pages of a book
can become weathered and torn
if time has its way.

Holding on tightly
you can still fall to your doom
with a few loose screws.

Thinking you are safe,
but still pushing the limits
you might find you’re not.

Looking at people
we might not see what’s within
and only see lies.

Yearning for someone
can create a burdened heart
filled with emptiness.

Thriving for footing
within an uphill pathway
you need to dig in.

Yesterdays garden
might not be the same today,
so just do your best.
