ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

I hope you had a nice passed week.  We
had a fairly nice one.  Not too much to
talk about LOL.  We didn’t do much at
all other than go to Walmart and I did
my Welcare doctor yearly visit.  It does
get old.  They still think they can fix me.
Anyways,  I went to the clinic portal and
all seems the same,  no changes.  I’m still
me.  We are seeing green grass outside 🙂
so I reckon I will be mowing soon.  But
for now,  the grass is still short and also
we have a lot of rain in the forecast for
this week.  I can’t mow if it’s raining or
even shortly after it has rained.  I have
to wait till the sun has dried it out a bit.
Judy’s behind me crocheting again LOL.
Yep,  she crochets a lot,  but then I write
a lot so we are both with our addictions.
She crochets better than I write hehehe 🙂
She also paints better than I write,  or at
least I think she does.  We are looking
forward to going Mini golfing and for
our picture drives.  We are also looking
forwards to going to the Houlton Farms
Dairy Bar for our first visit this year to
get us some ice cream 🙂  They have the
best ice cream choices and all.  We might
go tomorrow as we just looked and saw
that they are opened now,  but then they
might not be being they were supposed
to be opened last Thursday but ran into
a few difficulties.  Anyways,  we’ll check
tomorrow after we get Judy’s eye exam
done at Vision Care.  We are so freaking
exciting LOL.  So,  it looks like it could
rain at any moment and if it is raining
tomorrow (Monday) we might have to
put on hold our visit to Houlton Farms
Dairy Bar being that they have no place
inside to eat it.  Only benches outside 🙂
but we normally sit in our car to eat it.
None the less,  we will one day make a
visit to get us some ice cream.  The temp
is still nice for us up here.  Right now at
7:30 PM it’s 46 F degrees.  The high for
today was supposed to be 52,  but I do
not think it made it.  Tomorrows high
is supposed to be 51 F 🙂  The snow has
finally all melted away.  We now have a
few little ponds that formed from all the
melting snow hehehe.  Springtime always
takes its ever loving time getting here and
it often makes a mess of things while it
causes floods from the melting ice and
snow.  Thankfully we’re on high ground.
But then at the moment our yard is like
a sponge and you sink in it to walk on
it hehehe.  It’ll dry out one day,  but as
long as it keeps on raining Fat Chance 🙂
One thing for sure,  our well has water.
So Ok,  what else is there to talk about?
At the moment my mind is blank hehehe.
There’s been nothing that has happened
that is worth telling to tell ya LOL.  We
still spend our nights watching TV as we
enjoy being together.  Rocky of course
could not care less about watching TV
being he’s a dog LOL,  but he’s happy.
God is still watching over us keeping
us from harms path as He sees needed.
I know He allows what He knows that
will make us stronger or give us lessons
in our life.  We know there are many
angels and kindly spirits also watching
over us and helping when needed and
we surely feel blessed.  Thank You God
for all that You do and all that You’ve
done in our life.  Please watch over all
of our family and friends as well as the
many that we know not of.  We all need
You in our lives.  Amen and Amen……
Now, I do believe it is time for me to
be going back over all that I’ve written
here to see if I can find me a good word
or phrase that I can use for the title for
today’s brand new poem.  So,  it’s away
I go, to that place of my recollection that
I like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.  It’s
looking as though I may have found me
decent title near the beginning of all of
my rambling and now after checking I
see that it hasn’t been used yet,  so used
it shall be today.  Here goes…

Shortly After

Time is but a story
written in the days
pages upon pages
of moments arrays.
Seasons we forget
become as memoirs
written in a story
maybe about stars.
Things we’ve done
and remember well
may become stories
our shadows will tell.
Shortly after times
minutes might seem
as heartbeats of life
not meaning a thing.
Yet looking closer
we might see minds
within the segues
of heartfelt designs.
Blessings abundant
smiles and laughter
might become seen
within shortly after.

Well there ya go.  I hope that you liked
the poem and maybe even little bit of my
rambling.  Judy is still crocheting behind
me and Rocky is lying in the floor under
Judy’s feet LOL.  We’re gonna watch TV
after I get done with this.  Anyways,  That
is about all I have for you other than what
I tell you every week and that is I wrote
some more poems and haiku.  Yep,  10
more poems and 22 more haiku for all
the haiku lovers out there.  I hope that
you can find 1 or 2 of either or both that
you like.  With that said,  I reckon it is
time for me to be searching for that silly
hardly elusive off switch,  but not before
I wish you a happy first of May and a
blessings filled week.  Remember,  Jesus
loves you and we do too.  Okey dokey,
now where can that ornery off switch be
attempting to hide this time?  Hmm I
do believe I see some movement behind
my nose spray LOL.  You’re not even
trying to hide are ya!  You kept bumping
into the bottle making it wobble and it
ain’t a weeble being it will fall down 🙂

Deceptive scenes
as waves of life
might only be
someone’s strife.
Just like a sight
of a distant time
styles of days
may be a mind.
The times of life
that we may see
might only show
a time’s history.
Moments change
just like waves
maybe as ripples
as styles of days.

Passages of Dream

Within the minutes
seconds combine
creating displays
passages of time.
Life is a window
collections to see
becoming sights
as living history.
Passages of dream
may form a sight
maybe as melting
snow of white.
Just like a person
of a passing time
passages of dream
might seem divine.
Leaving a glimmer
of a passing scene
seeming as reality
passages of dream.

Distant Destinies

New days of dawning
as distance reveals
become many changes
time often conceals.
Stories of the seasons
are often displayed
as pages of moments
each second has made.
Seeming as clockwork
time continues on
singing of the seasons
as a timeless song.
Becoming as windows
enhancing a breeze
life is as a heartbeat
thru distant destinies.

Lavender Art

Painted brushstrokes
might come alive
filled with memories
as heartbeats arrive.
Lavender moments
on a canvas of white
can be as reflections
of springtime delight.
Living as blessings
thriving as a time
that becomes the art
of a heartfelt mind.
Search within sights
and see what’s there
for many times life
is hidden everywhere.
Maybe as butterflies
or a beating heart
you might discover
some lavender art.

Traversing Scenery

Taking many steps
upon living dreams
time can become as
a stage of themes.
Creating perception
with style and grace
traversing scenery
in step by step pace.
You may see a bird
or trees thereabout
forming a doorway
of in ways and out.
It may be a breath
breathed in a style
as stages of scenery
seeming as a smile.
A time of moments
blessings from God
seeming illusional
a dreamer’s facade.
Clear up your eyes
and see what is free
when exploring life
traversing scenery.

Rails of Design

Threading a needle
as time moves along
may become bumpy
and turn out wrong.
A thread of thought
throughout our life
might become sewn
torment and strife.
So follow the rails
thru honest travels
and all of the truth
that time unravels.
For time in a way
will surely reveal
the liars of a time
that try to conceal.
Search your heart
and your daily mind
to find God’s truth
on rails of design.

Travels thru time
might be bestowed
as a timeless face
upon an old road.
A page of a book
with dog eared age
sentences written
on a scenic page.
Seasons forgotten
may come in view
as roads we travel
within thereunto.
Timeless memories
become as a song
sung as a blessing
a road to beyond.

Ocean of Minds

Leagues of the sea
as a depth of blue
is given from God
for many to view.
Maybe from shore
or ships within sea
an ocean of minds
can be so heavenly.
Scented of waves
that roll on a shore
creating the scenes
for eyes to explore.
A song of seagulls
might fill the air
creating a window
a breath of prayer.
God’s in the waves
as many designs
perspective scenes
an ocean of minds.

Evening of Prayer

Illusionary sights
can unleash time
creating a stage
within our mind.
A breath of life
breathed in style
might form doors
with a little smile.
Allowing the peace
of evening’s scene
to live on beyond
a timeless dream.
Search deep within
and find the place
an evening prayer
as a smiling face.
God always hears
and answers true
all that is right
for me and you.
Search for peace
in a breath of air
maybe a picture’s
evening of prayer.

Time’s Memories

Years might pass
leaving a glance
as seasonal sights
song and dance.
Romancing eyes
with a memory
of times we saw
within history.
Life’s perception
becomes alive
as breath of time
helps it survive.
Places we’ve seen
remembered well
become a story
so timeless to tell.
Blessings of time
live on and on
as life’s recording
an old love song.
The singer is you
how you recall
seasons of sights
that stand so tall.
A country scene
with clouds above
within blue skies
so full of love.
A gift from God
for us to perceive
finding yet again
time’s memories.

Haiku
for Apr 29,  2023

Now is a moment
that helps time to move along
creating the past.

The length of a day
does not delegate choices,
for seconds give views.

Sought after moments
can often become troubles
that we did not need.

Seasons in the sun
might become bad memories
filled with life’s sunburns.

Lessons might unleash
in the midst of harmony
that was bad choices.

Years that pass us by
might become as reflections
we see and regret.

Living for a time
can prove to be a problem,
as the time was wrong.

Having opinions
about others in our life
does not make us God.

Minutes of worry
can become ulcers of life
that prayer could prevent.

Yearning for a life
that is not meant to be yours
might form misery.

The roads we travel
can often create shadows
that some will follow.

A sky of sunshine
can be hidden behind clouds,
so find peace in rain.

Yesterdays forecast
is but only a mere guess
for God only knows.

Truth amidst liars
will create some agitation,
but the truth will win.

Living in shadows
might hide for a while your path,
but the light will shine.

Using someone’s love
to get all that you’re wanting
will lessen their love.

Seasons remembered
are often glimmers of time
that we enjoyed most.

The hours and days
that are within our travels
may reflect bad times.

Visions of true love
might be hidden in a cloud
that is only rain.

Now might be the time
to do what you need to do
as chance rolls the dice.

Various windows
give passages to look through
with some not so good.

Gazing in ones eyes
you might see your reflection
as well as their mind.
