Failures Teach

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

I hope you’re doing well.  We’re still
alive and kicking LOL.  Ok so we may
not be kicking,  but we are alive.  We
finally got our car repaired fully and
it cost us a little bit over 2000 dollars,
but it should be good for a while now.
The weather has been quite nice lately.
The grass has slowed with its growing
which makes me not have to mow so
often thank God.  I will though more
than likely a couple more times during
this summer.  Oh yea,  last Wednesday
we had to take the car in for some new
wheel bearings for the front driver side
of our car,  but that’s done now.  That
is what that upped the price to 2000
dollars LOL.  Anyways,  We went up
to Caribou Thursday and I got my
drivers license renewed.  It sucks that
we have to drive near 60 miles to find
a DMV,  but that’s how it works up
this way.  The next to nearest is 90
miles south of us.  Oh well,  it’s done
and I shouldn’t have to do it again for
a while,  but Judy will have to get hers
renewed in the next few years.  So that
is most of the excitement that’s gone
on around this place LOL.  Yep,  we
are boring.  We start watching our TV
programs late at night when I’ve gotten
through with writing for the day.  It’s
pretty much a regular thing for us as
each day comes about 🙂  I hope a few
of you that are on Facebook have taken
the time to visit my Facebook and see
my poetry pictures that I’ve created
using my poetry.  Although I write the
poems using the pictures for ideas and
structure.  I use pictures that I or Judy
have taken and have used a few that
my daughter Jamye has taken.  Writing
and photography are some my favorite
things to do,  but I do enjoy spending
time with Judy.  I feel grateful to have
her in my life.  God put us together,
for He knew that we belonged together.
God has sent me many blessings in my
life and I’m sure there are many that
I was not aware of.  Life is a mystery
that reveals itself when it is good and
ready and not before.  We might not
be ready for the moments or think we
are not ready,  but the time is written.
Most of our failures teach us lessons
in life that we would not have learned
if we had not failed.  Growth comes
from allowing the lessons to not just
become as regret.  I myself have to
keep reminding myself of this,  being
I have many things in my life that I
often wish would of never happened,
but if they had not of happened then
I would not be who I am today and
yes there are times that I wish I were
not who I am,  but God has a purpose
for me and I try to do what all I think
He wants me to do.  I know I fail in my
many efforts most times,  but I’m still
trying to do my best.  I hope that God
is in your life and you are not beating
yourself too much for your failures in
life.  Remember that we all will fail
as time goes on,  but use the failures
as tools to make a better you.  Thank
You Father God for all that You have
done in my life and for all that You
will do.  Please watch over all of our
family and friends and the others that
we know not of.  Amen and Amen.
Now I do believe it’s time for me to
begin reading back over all that I’ve
written here to see if I can find me a
good word or phrase that I can use
for the title for today’s brand new
poem.  So,  it’s away I go to that lil
place of my recollection that I always
like to call RECOLLECT VILLE 🙂
I think I might have stumbled upon
a fairly decent title near the center
point of all of my rambling and now
after checking,  I see that it has not
been used yet,  so used it shall be 🙂
Here goes…

Failures Teach

Within our movement
we might seem to be
wrongly performing
what’s needed to see.
Time might become as
a window or door
awakening moments
we wish to explore.
Looking from a cloud
filled with anxiety
you might find blessings
in your history.
Sometimes the lessons
can give you despair,
but later in your life
be answers to prayer.
For as God watches
with passion and love
you might discover
what’s found up above.
Our eyes might only
grasp within reach,
but lessons are learned
as our failures teach.

Well,  there ya go.  I hope you liked the
poem and maybe even a little bit of my
rambling.  I haven’t much else to tell ya
other than what I tell you nearly every
week and that is,  I wrote some more
poems and haiku.  Yep,  10 more poems
and 22 more haiku for all of the haiku
lovers out there.  I hope you’re able to
find 1 or 2 of either or both that you like.
Now I do believe it’s time to begin my
search for that hardly elusive off switch,
but not before I wish you all a blessings
filled week.  Remember,  Jesus loves
you and we do too.  Okey dokey,  so
where can that ornery switch be trying
hide this time?  LOL You notice I said
TRYING hehehe.  Anyways,  looking
around the room in all of its normal
hiding spots I don’t see it,  but giving
another glance I think I see something
a bit out of place dangling from my
stack of books next to me 🙂   So what
were ya reading???  Poetry Pictures
book 13 huh.  I think you might have
had a bit of difficulty turning the pages,
but it’s nice that you’re reading LOL.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Rocky
and spirits of Benny and Milo Pearce.

Rippling Blue

As ducks in water
time trickles on
creating patterns
of a so scenic song.
Sung as the beauty
of time’s details
that’s life’s ripples
a moment inhales.
Water gives ways
for ducks to swim
just like our lives
beginning to end.
Showing methods
for us to get by
a lifetime to swim
or as birds to fly.
It may seem dim,
with all you view,
but God is prayer
as a rippling blue.

Arriving Home

Life is a mystery
that may often reveal
the magic of a time
that so many conceal.
Home is a moment
that we might await
as the wheels of life
might hide the date.
Yet we will be finding
moments to accrue
as tires cease to turn
and awaken a view.
Life is a heartbeat
minutes might roam
anxiously awaiting
time arriving home.

Scenery Created

Textured pathways
can often be viewed
as living illusions
a bit misconstrued.
We may see a stage
with a scenic decor
gifted with blessings
of a timeless door.
With life’s existance
that God instated
time forms a stage
as scenery created.

Winter Fulfills

Snowflakes falling
on a wintery stage
transforms time
as a turn of a page.
Scenes awakening
reflect times before
bringing memories
in a season’s door.
We might see life
of a Christmas day
scented of passion
of another display.
Remembering love
a passing of time
that now lives on
inside of our mind.
The white of winter
may create a view
filled will moments
that live in you.
Transformed in life
as time instills
scenes come in view
that winter fulfills.

Windows of Perception

The pictures that form
within our memories
might seem just like
life’s oceans and seas.
Snow covered scenery
with ice time creates
may become windows
full of timeless dates.
Scenes with memories
enhanced in the snow
enter thru doorways
that seasons bestow.
Discerning the times
of a wintry connection
can create hopeful in
windows of perception.

Standing Views

Pictured memories
standing in place
awaken reflections
of loving embrace.
Written as memoirs
words of a time
an existance of love
within my mind.
Moments displayed
that times infuse
enhance memories
of standing views.

Scenes of Summer

Our eyes might perceive
a time and place
with geese in a pond
within a season’s face.
Their sweet songs
as they sing and splash
create a living doorway
of shadows to cast.
Mesmerizing sights
of moments of wonder
become life’s windows
to scenes of summer.

Looking From Afar

The tracks of a train
might seem to go
to the passageways
that we don’t know.
They may be found
as steel metal roads
that carries daily
some real heavy loads.
Think of it as smiles
that you can share
upon helpful tracks
with love and care.
For many may see
the way that we are
as they may see us
looking from afar.

Decisions of Time

The many thoughts
that we may think
might be as leaves
a bit out of synch.
Yet we might form
a time’s connection
when found going
the same direction.
As leaves on trees
bestow their way
they’re often seen
together each day.
They don’t judge
of different forms,
for they still grow
as their life adorns.
Presenting scenes
of their own design
not judging others
decisions of time.

Coastal Scenery

Waters of reflections
might ripple and shine
pathways of journeys
of a coastal design.
Painted as reality
that’s headed out to sea
a ship full of hopeful
moves on peacefully.
Time becomes a book
with pages of blue
written as a memory
of a so distant view.
Fragrance of salt air
emits from the time
that’s still with me
as my dreams remind.
Taste of the moments
are still a sight to see
found as reflections
of coastal scenery.

Haiku
for Aug 17,  2024

Seasons of journeys
can often be reflected
within a dreamworld.

Lessons of the past
considering how hard they were
will show how they’re learned.

Tires of travelers
might roll on beyond the view
to see some more sights.

Moments that we find
might not be reality
that we need to see.

An evenings sunshine
beckons for the moon and stars
to fulfill the night

Following footsteps
that others in life have made
can be destructive.

Finding who you are
in the midst of a journey
you might find your strength.

The windows of life
may often seem confusing
with the sights and sounds.

The fences we build
might keep out some of the bad,
but also the good.

Traversing a path
you might find some gopher holes
that mimic our life.

Today’s perception
might be different tomorrow
so prepare for change.

Locking your viewpoints
and not allowing your growth
you might find regret.

Walking on a path
you might find many footsteps
that went the same way.

Dreaming of true love
and not giving it some time,
you may find sadness.

Looking to the sky
we can often see some clouds
that transform our views.

Years of emotions
can often create rivers
flowing with desire.

Each breath that we breathe
gives another chance in life,
so seek for a breath.

Allowing liars
to exist in your doorway
you are viewed the same.

Finding conclusions
when there are only a few
you might just be wrong.

Reading one’s story
you might not know the wording
and misread the time.

The tears of sadness
often look like happiness,
so pay attention.

Years of our shadows
might be lessons to others
so take care your stride.
