ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

How has your Labor Day weekend been? Ours has been
rather quiet except for last night when our neighbors got a
bit rowdy with their music and all as well as their little
pranks. They came and beat on the outside wall of our PC
room last night and scared the death out of Judy and I.
We both looked outside, but couldn’t see them, but knew
it was way too coincidental that they would be outside
having a little campout/party for it not to have been them.
Oh well, that was the worst of it. They finally shut it
down and went to sleep, I guess LOL. I bet they were
cold last night hehehe. We had frost warnings for this
morning. It looks like Mr. Winter is coming in really fast
this year. Summer is over hehehe what summer that we
actually had I mean :). Today it’s not supposed to get much
above 69F degrees. Yeppers, ye old AC wasn’t needed
much this year either LOL. I reckon I should not expect
any different, being we aren’t in Texas any more. Hey
Toto, I don’t think we’re in Kansas anymore LOL. Well,
other than the weather doing its thing getting ready for
ye ole winters entrance. My health went down a tad after
I went and jammed for TWO hours none stop with some
guys at the church a few miles down the road. I don’t
think they realized that my body on the outside does not
show what is going on inside. Plus Wayne wanted me to
play the trap set a bit and I told him why I had stopped,
but he apparently did not understand. I have arthritis
in every joint, permanently fractured ankles and the
fact that the guys drum set was not set up the way that
I used to set mine up as well as the fact that I hadn’t
even played a trap set since early 90’s or thereabouts.
Well I stupidly tried to play them and sucked badly LOL
and my ankles, legs and shoulders are suffering for it.
I’ll stick with ye old conga drums thank you please :).
Trying to work the foot petal on the base drum was not
what the doctor ordered LOL. My body has undergone
a lot of turmoil in the last 15 years. Well OK now it’s
off of my aches and pains hehehe and onto the lighter
side of this world. Hmm there is a lighter side isn’t there?
Judy and I are getting ready to do another attempt on
some picture taking this either Wednesday or Thursday.
Hopefully we will get some better pictures than we got
last time out. We did get some good ones last time,
but they were not what I was actually seeking to find.
No hehehe I haven’t done any editing on the pictures
we took last time. My attention span seems to not
remember it until it’s bloody too late LOL. I will give
an effort today, I promise to try and edit them and
get a few out to my friends that have been asking for
them LOL! I want to thank all of my friends that
sent me the wonderful birthday wishes. I have some
wonderful friends. This is to my friends in Holland.
Ben, Diana, Joyce, Kevin, Bozyenna and Terrance.
Thank you for your most spectacular friendship. I
don’t know what I would do without friends like you :).
God has blessed me with some wonderful people in
my life. Oh yea I want to thank you Ron and Amanda
at Century Computer for taking good care of my
mom when she was having PC problems. Yall have
become part of my family. We have all grown so
close through the years haven’t we! I know, I now
live over 2000 miles away, but you are still close
to my heart. Miles cannot separate true friendship.
I thank you God for all the wonderful people that
You have put into my life. They are what keep me
going. God has also done things for you that you
may be overlooking. Are you overlooking a friend
that is there. Sometimes the friends may not be so
apparent until times of need and then they step up
to the plate and bat for you. Take a look around
and see if you are overlooking someone that God
has put into your life as an angel. Well it’s time for
me to begin my little venture back through all I
have written to that place of recollection to see if
I can find a good word or phrase I can use for the
title for today’s brand new poem. So, it’s off to
that place that I like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.
I do believe I found a good title for today’s brand
new poem. Now let’s see what I can do with it :)!

As An Angel

When you are troubled
and cannot see clear,
God puts an angel
to help so sincere.
When problems find you
and you are worn out,
God sends an angel
to help thereabout.
When you see nothing
but sadness around,
God sends an angel
to take away frowns.
When in fact truly
you need help to stand,
God sends an angel
to give you a hand.
When you are stumbling
and feel you will fall,
God sends an angel
to help you stand tall.

I hope you liked the poem. It sort of reflects what that
has happened to me many times. God has sent people
into my life, true friends as angels that have helped when
no one else seemed to care. My friend Carol from Trico,
the place I was retired from many years ago due to health
is one of those angels. She came to help me when no one
else seemed to care. When I was not expected to live
and sent home from the hospital to die, she came and
comforted me. She brought her loving smile to let me
know that there are still good people out there. Hehehe
the funny thing is that at work we acted like we couldn’t
stand one another LOL. Everybody thought we hated
each other, yet we were at work and not there to be as
friends. Yet away from work we went shopping together
and were and are still best of friends. I love ya Carol!
Thanks for being there. What would this world be like
without friends? HELL!!!!! Be a friend a TRUE friend.
Don’t be a phony just wanting something in return.
Well, it’s time for me to be telling you what I tell you
every week and that is, tada hehe I wrote some more
poems. I wrote 10 more poems and 3 of em are, yep
you guessed it, Christmas poems hehehehehehehehe.
Hey Christmas is getting closer every day and up this
ways it is feeling like it even more so with all of the cold
weather that’s making its way to our doorsteps hehehe.
Yes I wrote some more haiku, 22 to be exact along
with the 4 I wrote for my Yoville messages. I haven’t
written a Yoville haiku message for today yet, but I
will LOL. It will be in next weeks Greetings hehehe.
Well with that said I guess it’s time for me to be on
my little search for that old off switch to end this 🙂 but
before I do that, Have a wonderful week and always
remember that Jesus loves you and we do too.

Think It Over

Words are a summary
of thoughts inside
which we sometimes
might need to hide.
Sometimes our voices
need not display
what that our moments
wishing to say.
Words will empower
our thoughts summary
and become essence
of our history,
so think it over
before you describe
all of your anger
that’s on your inside.
It might be better
with lesser to say
than to just outburst
your minutes away.

Within A Second

Within a fraction
of time that we see
one might be gone
before you and me.
You may be cooking
or laying around
when in the moment
you’re found homeward bound.
Within a second
of time that we find
we may be headed
to our point in time.
Is it for Heaven
or is it for Hell?
This is the fraction
of time that will tell.
Are you prepared now
and ready for God,
or are you waiting
for someone’s applaud?
Will you see Heaven
as fractions complete,
or will you find then
the hot burning feet?

Winter Is Coming

Winter is coming
as summer is gone
while I watch moments
of time move along.
Winter brings blessings
of white billowed snow
that are the paintings
of all that I know.
Winter is coming
and bringing in fall
so to enhance every
tree standing tall.
Then in conclusion
sweet winter displays
all of the hillsides
with white snowy ways.
Winter is coming
and then I will see
Christmas abounding
with lights on the tree.
I’ll see the snowflakes
falling with grace
as I allow them
to land on my face.
Winter is coming
with white fluffy snow
as I’m awaiting
for it to bestow.

Don’t Keep It Hidden

Inner most feelings
are sometimes outside
displaying wrongly
what we wish to hide.
Sometimes it’s heartache
and sometimes it’s pain
that is on inside
with time and again.
Doorways to pages
all written in time
sometimes are inside
and changing our mind.
Inner most feelings
are patterns we meet
that are the minutes
we might wish complete.
So take a breath now
and breathe in the view
and decide innermost
what you’re to do.
Don’t keep it hidden
forever inside.
Find someone surely
that you can confide.
If you don’t open up
and let ones see,
then you might end
with regrets history.

These Are The Choices

Whether to stand up
or whether to fall
you have the choices
to change overall.
You can be laidback
or make yourself heard,
yet it’s the choices
of which you prefer.
You can let minutes
to just slip away,
or you can stand up
and better today.
We each have places
in time to fulfill,
so will you use it
as time just to kill?
Will you make better
the life that you’ve known
as you are surely
to one day be grown?
Whether to stand there
in all that you do
or whether to better
the life within you.
These are the choices
we each need to make
and not let moments
of time to forsake.

As I Am Waiting

The moment is coming
with toys in store
awaiting the blessings
of Christmas and more.
The minutes arriving
as time goes its way
for all the blessings
of great Christmas Day.
Seconds are counting
as hands of the clock
go around slowly
with every tick tock.
That wonderful time
is coming real soon
and then I’ll hear
each Christmassy tune.
The moments arriving
that time does compel
blessings from Jesus
that I know so well.
The season for giving
as time moves along
comes with the blessings
so wonderfully strong.
All of the songs
of Christmas will play
as I am waiting
for that special day.

Step From The Shadows

People will wonder
what your time precedes
if you are planting
some ungrateful seeds.
If you are watching
a persons despair
and acting just like
you really don’t care,
are you displaying
what Jesus would do,
or are you caring
for no one but you?
If you are saying
that you are so good
then are you doing
what you really should?
Lord God will see us
no matter the place,
so why you hiding
your time of disgrace?
Step from the shadows
and seek no applaud
as you show goodness
that’s given from God.

We Are Each Unique

Letters are written
inside every mind,
words of the moments
that found our design.
Scenes are surrounding
the inner most view
that is the making
of me and of you.
True we’re created
in the image of God,
yet we are different
some even some odd.
We each have patterns
that form who we are
and they’re the patterns
of greater by far.
We are each unique
in our day to day
as we each act in
our own special way.
We’ve each got gifts
that God’s given true
that each discern
who’s me and who’s you.

Might Just Want More

Too many thresholds
with not any views
make it much harder
to chance or to choose.
We might see thresholds
that open real wide
and seem to wants us
to each come inside,
but not all thresholds
are good to be in,
because they are littered
with wantings of sin.
So if a threshold
is opening for you,
make sure that it is
the right thing to do
before you go walking
on inside the door
to your tomorrow
that might just want more.

Wintertime’s Grin

I can feel coolness
of winter this year
coming so closely
that it’s almost here.
I can sense winter
in mornings decor
as it is breezes
that come in the door.
I can feel surely
that winter array
that is the blessing
that’s coming our way.
I can hear the wind
outside that is blowing
inwards the wintertime
that’s surely growing.
I can feel coolness
of wintertime’s grin
as it lands coldly
right here on my skin.

Haiku
for Sept 5, 2009

The links of a chain
are what connect you and I
to our dimensions.

Moments will prosper
and some will just fall away
as our own lessons.

Time might be eager,
but many times time is not
and you have to wait.

Left to our own tools,
often we will just destroy
what we try to fix.

So much confusion
makes up so many lifestyles
and they call it peace.

Love is a blessing
which is like a large flower
that blooms within.

A vine winds around
as it seeks for the sunshine
to nourish its leaves.

One who’s committed
will stay put until finished.
Others will just quit.

Clinging to burdens
is like trying to swim straight
while holding anchors.

Don’t be close minded,
for you may see the answers
through a little child.

News worthy segments
aren’t always the best moments.
The best gets ignored.

Losing a minute
might seem sometimes forever,
yet it will soon pass.

Wages of bidders
are sometimes not the wisest,
for the items wreak.

Lines of ones standing
may be waiting for tomorrow,
while today just fades.

Wise is a hoot owl
as it waits for its dinner.
Patience is virtue.

A lasting moment
might be what you will regret,
so make sure it’s good.

Friendships are counted
while many will come and go
leaving just a few.

Glancing at teardrops
I can see rivers flowing
coming from the heart.

Know who your friends are
and keep them locked deep inside.
Memories are golden.

Summer has left us
leaving the door opened wide
for winter to come.

Jack Frost is coming
with winter in his pockets
and bookoos of snow.

Tomorrow’s coming
with its own expectations.
Do what’s possible.

YoVille Haiku

If you get older
it means that you are alive.
Otherwise you’re dead.

Days may seem hurried,
yet sometimes it’s just our view.
Slow down and enjoy.

Hurry makes trouble
when it’s taken out of stride.
Stay within your means.

Many will watch on
as time moves quickly ahead
and not seek moments.
