Through The Bumpy Stuff

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

How are you doing? Judy and I are doing fine. It snowed
some more yesterday/Saturday. It’s supposed to snow some
more this evening on into tomorrow evening. Though right
now it’s 36F degrees at the high. It’s supposed to get back
down to the teens tonight. Well, Judy and I went outside
Saturday and took pictures while it was snowing real heavy.
I went ahead and took a trip out to check our mail at the
mailbox. OH yea, Judy was accepted on SSD. She and I
are now retired together. We’ve bought a little doggy to
keep us company. It’s a Peekapoo named Benny hehehe.
We’re going down to Bangor to pick him up at the airport
this week. He was a rescue dog and is 7 months old so we
got him fairly cheap. Benny is 10 pounds and all white 🙂
We’re both looking forward to seeing him in person hehe
or in real life doggy. I had sworn for almost all my life
that I would never have a dog in the house, but being
that Judy and I are both retired, we have time to spend
on him and also Benny can be the baby that we were
not able to have together. We’ve posted a few pictures
of him on Facebook. When we get him, I’m sure that
he will be in a few of my email stationeries hehehehe.
So what else is going on in this part of the world hmm?
Well, other than Judy getting on SSD, there isn’t much
else to report. The weather is getting a little warmer,
but we still have tons of snow outside. I took a little
look outside a moment ago and it almost blinded me.
Judy just fixed us both some croissants for breakfast.
Mmmmm sausage and egg. Well I guess I need to
move along with this journal so I can eat this thing
before it gets cold hehe. So now as I look back on
all that has happened in our lives, I can see Jesus
holding our hand through the bumpy stuff. It seems
that when things get out of hand, He comes with
His Love to protect us. Never think for an instant
that God is not there. Sometimes He may be just
wanting you to step up to the plate and do your part.
Too often we will sometimes forget that God wants
us to experience things as lessons. If He were to
prevent any type of problems in our lives, then we
would not find any lessons or methods of becoming
stronger. I paused for a moment just now to take
a bite of my sausage and egg croissant to give me
some strength hehehe. Yes, God expects us to do
the best that we can and then He will do the rest.
We often will wonder why He has not changed a
bad moment or helped someone that in our eyes is
in need, but we’ve got to remember, that He knows
what is needed and it is out of the realm of our vision.
We only see portions of the puzzle, not the whole
picture. Today, do the best that you can do and
then allow God to do His part in His Will and Way.
Don’t play God! We are only human and with a
limited view on life. So I guess it’s time once again
for me to be heading back through all that I have
written here to see if I can find a good word or
phrase that I can use for the title for today’s brand
new poem. So it’s off I go to that little place that
I like to call RECOLLECT VILLE to find a title.
I believe I may have found a fairly good title to use.
Now let’s see what I can do with it hehehehehehe.
Here goes….

Through The Bumpy Stuff

Found amidst turmoil
some bumps that we find
might seem as moments
that God is unkind.
On through the bumpy stuff
you might just see
segments of flavors
of your history.
Sometimes the troubles
that find us today
are all the answers
from God as we pray.
You might not see them
the answers that come,
but they are there then
and momently done.
On through the bumpy stuff
you might arrive
at your conclusions
of how they derive.
Let Jesus help you
find peace in the air
on through the bumpy stuff
answers to prayer.

I hope that made a little sense to ya hehe. I never know
if what I’m writing makes any sense to anyone but me 🙂
Oh well, I’m sure God will do with it what He sees fit.
Well, I just finished my Croissant. It got a little cold,
but still tasted great hehe. Those Jimmy Dean brand
Croissants are the bestest LOL yummy. There ain’t
much else to report from the Pearce’s place in the cold
north. Nope, I think I’ve about said it all hehehehehe.
Yet I still wish prayer for my sister in law Barbara and
my good friend Tiny/Donald. Barbara has done the last
of her radiation treatments and doing well. She is at
the moment considered cancer free 🙂 She’ll have to do
a lot of follow ups in the days to come, but for the most
part she is ready to go back to work. God is GREAT.
Ok, so again as soon as we get our new addition to
our family named Benny, I will take pictures of him
to put in my stationery and I’ll also upload them to
my facebook and I’m sure Judy will upload to hers as
well LOL. Or she might just steal mine and tag em 🙂
In any sense, I’ll keep ya posted. Not sure when we
are to go pick him up, but the lady said she’ll send us
the airport info either today or tomorrow. Can’t wait.
Well, that’s about it. Now it’s time for me to tell
you what I tell you every week and that is, I wrote
some more poems and haiku. Yeppers I wrote 10
more poems and 22 more haiku for all my haiku
lovers out there. I wrote all of the poems and haiku
last night. I hope you enjoy some of them. Now it’s
about time for me to begin my searching for that
freaking off switch, but not before I wish you a
most wonderful God filled week. Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too. Now to find that
off switch that just loves to play hide and seek 🙂
Found that little whippersnapper hiding under
where my croissant used to be under my napkin.
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Some Great Peace

Weathered souls
of time gone by
seek for peace
through Adonai.
Seasoned hearts
of there and to
might be found
torn through and through.
Yet those hearts
of seasoned places
can be found
with smiling faces
for through Jesus
God’s Own Son
some great peace
will be begun
and those weathered
times about
will find ways
of different route.

Let Not Anger

Held in anger
will explode
somewhere sometime
down the road.
Not relieving
all that strain
might just drive your
mind insane.
Let your anger
find release
through a little
Jesus peace.
Also make your
moments heard
with a little
prayerful word.
Let not anger
drive your voice.
Seek for blessings
to rejoice.
Look for peaceful
in a frame
before your mind
just goes insane.

Winters Minutes

Winter snows
come falling down
here and there
and all around.
Snowy mornings
found so white
echo moments
of the night,
for the sunlight’s
hidden true
from the mornings
winter view.
Winters minutes
tick on past
leaving snowbound
shadows cast.
Scenes around me
fall in place
as I watch with
smiling face.

Pools of Time

Ripples mimic
ponds that sway,
pools of time
from day to day.
Scenic memoirs
in the mind
ripple gently
time to time.
In those ripples
scenes are found
sometimes as
some sight and sound.
Pools of time
with scenic views
ripple sometimes
in our shoes.
As we walk on
minutes miles
pools of time
can become smiles.
Scenes from yonder
then and there
become glimpses
with a prayer.

He Imagined

In our own imagery
we might conceive
that we are better
than ones believe.
Lord God imagined us
each in His sight
each one unique
that He did delight.
God gave us gifts
that we might not use
simply because
we sought just to lose.
Often decisions
of ours day to day
are not just ours,
but His Will and Way.
Yes He imagined us
all not the same
within His image
unique through His Name.

Lessons From Troubles

Pointless are lessons
when they’re ignored
leaving ones standing
a little deplored.
Sometimes our lessons
that we might find
are just a moment
of wrong frame of mind.
Looking for scapegoats
through all the mess
could bring us moments
that we need confess.
Lessons from troubles
often are found
better remembered
when time comes around.
Sometimes our memories
found in the past
bring us the lessons
that might surely last.

Morning Comes Brightly

With dawns arrival
comes such a glow
such as through winter
the glimmer of snow.
Morning comes brightly
when night is all done
and it brings sweetly
the bright winters sun.
Glimmers of tree limbs
with snow oh so white
seem as some paintings
of a wonderful sight.
Morning comes brightly
so surely to see
found as sweet winter
shines on every tree.
Snowy white segments
seen so faraway
show me the blessings
of wintertimes day.

Times Hurricane

Stepping through thresholds
without first looking
could bring you troubles
timeframes are cooking.
Let not your hurries
to take all control
taking you places
with too high of toll.
Take time to listen
and learn what you can
before you just step out
into a trash can.
Sometimes a second
of thinking in time
can make the difference
of lemon and lime.
Stepping through thresholds
with rush to attain
could lead you surely
to a times hurricane.

A Little Bitty Lie

A little bitty this
and a little bitty that
could be the problems
which got you where you’re at.
A little bitty lie
from something then so small
could become a burden
standing six feet tall.
A little bitty portion
of little bitty this
could become the hardest
lesson on your list.
A little bitty time
that we just do or die
could become our nightmares
we wished would say goodbye.
A little bitty lie
that lives within our minds
can become a problem
found at later times.
So don’t let your lying
to be all that you do
thinking little bitty
won’t come back and haunt you.

Primal Instincts

Primal are our instincts
as our thoughts compel
leading us through sometimes
a little bit of Hell.
Often it’s our instincts
sending us ahead
leading us through troubles
and not good instead.
So that’s why we need to
take note of ourselves
seeing what our wanna
sits upon our shelves.
Do not let your wanna
of primal instincts win
taking you through pathways
leading straight through sin.
Primal instincts are not
always bad you see,
for they sometimes help us
in a slight degree.
Yet it’s best to focus
on what you can do
by just letting Jesus
to live then within you.

Haiku
for Mar 3, 2012

A simple flashlight
can bring to life the nighttime
with just a glimmer.

Sometimes our wording
will mislead those that listen
and cause them sadness.

Impatient flowers
might bloom while under the snow
and just freeze to death.

Terminal illness
only brings about new life
when found in Heaven.

Situations we find
give us choices to decide
to turn left or right.

Flavors of sunlight
shine through the winters snow
as white flakes of ice.

Seasons are showing
as God’s imagination
with new days to see.

Prayer brings us hopeful
through the darkest of moments
with light from Heaven.

Conclusions we find
could lead us into sorrow
not knowing the truth.

A sentence in time
said real hateful through anger
could destroy your life.

Forgiveness brings hope
through the shadows of turmoil
giving now a chance.

Standing on the fence
between what’s good and what’s bad
could lead you to Hell.

Now is a moment
that time will never repeat,
but look just like it.

Leave your tomorrows
as things that you prepare for.
Today gives you that time.

Hearing some thunder
only gives notice to storms
which you might not see.

Bus loads of troubles
carry the weight of heartaches
that need unloaded.

Glancing at true love
while thinking of its blessing
makes it much greater.

Chances are given
for the actions that we move.
We often screw up.

Found in innocence
is the birth of young babies
with time to begin.

When a mere lifestyle
gets lost and dismembered
it needs Jesus Grace.

The grand illusion
of a thief that finds a gain
is just deception.

Pages of a book
are often turned too quickly
to get to the end.

Although you might find anger,
you can find peace in a moment
of prayer. Now is just a moment
that time provides with good and
bad. Prayer gives us chances to
revive and find the lessons through
the bad and let some peace to be
found through God as we grow
much stronger.
