My Little Venture

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

So here it is a week gone by leaving only glimmers of it
in the shadows. How has your weekend been? Hopefully
it’s not been too crazy for ya. Judy and I picked up our
new addition to our family Friday night. He had a rough
flight. Had a two hour lay over in Detroit which kept
him stuck in that crate for about 5 hours or more. Poor
thing. He was whining profusely when we picked him
up, but during the car ride home while sitting in my lap,
he calmed and began to relax a bit. He laid there like
a good little guy and just looked around. Then later in
the trip he climbed up and rested his little head on my
shoulder as he watched the world in the rear of the car.
Benny is a whitish Peekapoo and he’s 7 months old.
He loves to hang around Judy and I and he’s not like
most of the excitable dogs I’ve seen. He hasn’t even
let out a bark yet. He whines a little when we block
off the living room so he can’t get in where we are.
Also he follows us wherever we go like a shadow 🙂
If you’re on Facebook, then you’ve probably already
seen pictures of him. I’ll put some of the pictures in
my stationery, but for those of you receiving this
via plain text version, SORRY. I’ll send ya some
pictures if you ask me to. Well it’s time for me to be
moving along with the journal. The weather up this
way has been not too awful bad. We’ve still got
a lot of snow hanging around, but if the weather
keeps on like it has, all of the snow might be gone
in a few weeks. Today’s high is supposed to be
around 39F degrees and tomorrows is supposed
to be in the mid 50’s. Anyways, back to Benny.
He’s had fun walking around on the ice and snow
outside. We though have to clean him up after
he’s gotten off into a few muddy spots LOL. Oh
well, that’s part of it. He’s a good dog. He’s our
little boy hehehe. They said he was potty trained,
but he hasn’t quite got it down yet. He’ll catch
on. Sometimes he’ll just sit and stare at you and
this is his way of saying he’s gotta go. Because
of that I wish he would speak up hehehe Bark or
something LOL. No matter, God has found us
a new member of our family to help us to keep
our sanity. Of course, it’s at small portions at
times, being Benny doesn’t wanna go to bed 🙂
I thank God for connecting me with Judy and
showing me that true love does exist. I was
beginning to have my doubts, but He renewed
them. We all have our weak moments to where
we might think that life has no chances and we
may never find peace. God is always there with
each step we take to give us what we’re needing.
Yet what we’re needing might be far from what
we think we really need. Sometimes our wants
of situations can be clouded by our humanity.
Look beyond what you think you need and try
to see what God is providing for you that you
really needed. Often it’s the lessons that we
needed that we might wish to avoid, but God
knows we need them. Let peace find your
heart as God fills it with love. Now it’s time
for me to be taking my little venture on back
through all that I’ve written here to see if I
can find a good word or phrase that I might
be able to write a decent poem using. So it’s
away I go to that place of my recollection
that I like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.
I think I may have stumbled on a good title,
but the proof is in the pudding hehehehehe.
Here goes…..

My Little Venture

Sometimes my footsteps
might seem to trip
leading me to a
bad little sip.
My little venture
of daily affairs
might be the answer
to so many prayers.
Even if troubles
come within my wake,
God makes real sure
that there is no mistake.
Sometimes my footsteps
might just be seen
walking down surely
an overflowed stream.
Yet surely God will
help all the while
my little venture
down bumpy times mile.

So that’s it. I hope ya liked the poem and also my
rambling did not drive ya batty hehehe. I know Benny
was the height of the topic huh. Hey, we love him and
he is so sweet. Judy just got in from taking for a little
walk outside with his little sweater on. Judy and I went
on FarmTown late last night and did all of our farms
being we didn’t get to do them Friday. We sort of had
a clue that we wouldn’t be able to do them Friday so
we planted all 2 and 3 day crops LOL. Don’t we lead
such an exciting life!!!? Not really huh LOL! Nope,
we just enjoy the days as best that we can as they each
pass us by. Benny’s asleep right behind me LOL 🙂
Ok so you’re probably saying, enough about Benny
already huh hehehe!!!!!!!! Next week I might find a
few different topics to talk about hehehe, but don’t
hold your breath. Hey, we’re new parents hehehe
sort of to a little puppy and we’re learning more
and more about him everyday the same as he’s also
learning about us hehehe. Well it’s time once agin
for me to be telling you what I tell you every week
and that is I wrote 10 more poems and 22 more
haiku for all of my haiku lovers roaming around
out there hehehe. I even wrote a poem about,
yes you guessed it, Benny LOL. I hope you like
some of the poems and haiku. Have a wonderful
week and oh yes don’t forget if you haven’t done
it yet, to move your clocks ahead an hour if you
are in a country or state that does so. Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too. Now it’s time for
me to be searching to find that freaking off switch.
Found it hiding behind Benny while he’s laying
there snoozing. Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

P.S. I also wrote a couple more
Thoughts To Use that will be at
the end of the journal.

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Stories Told

Certain stories
told and heard
can become a
silent word.
Moments stories
fall from view
when we cease to
tell ones true.
Let the stories
from the past
be what captures
shadows cast.
Don’t let stories
be just lies.
Let them shine
enlightened skies.
Yet some stories
need find rest,
for they’re surely
not the best.

Little Benny

Pitter patters
in the night
sometimes sound as
horrors sight.
Yet those footsteps
that we hear
are the sounds
of sweet sincere.
Pitter patters
on the floor
unto every
open door.
It’s our puppy
to and fro
popping in
to say hello.
Little Benny
is so sweet
as he walks
with tiny feet.
Then he heads back
to his bed
so to rest his
tiny head.

Not Just Trying To Be

Jumping hopping
popping around
many just move on
for a sound.
Often people
hurried true
only want to
be like you.
Jumping hopping
popping around
seeking just to
then to astound.
Let your only
sights ones see
be that which is
good degree.
Not just trying
to be found
as ones favorite
sight and sound.

Could Be A Puzzle

A picture a puzzle
shaping a place
could be a season
found on ones face.
Sometimes a puzzle
we put together
is just a moment
found under weather.
Seek for the puzzles
true depth dimensions
found within time
of others intentions.
A picture that’s painted
then torn apart
could be a puzzle
of ones weathered art.
Found as a puzzle
missing some pieces
looking for time
that Heaven releases.

Minutes Tick

Minutes tick on
as time goes
filling many
with some woes.
Lessons ventured
we attain
often drive ones
then insane.
Minutes tick on
as a scene
sometimes as some
moments lean.
Often shadows
minutes tick
make some people
really sick.
Let those minutes
ticking by
show you what that’s
how and why.

Loading Memories

Loading memories
in a dream
can become a
rushing stream.
As the waters
flow on through
seasons change
with every hue.
All those memories
that we’ve seen
become more than
just a dream.
Scenes are blooming
as some flowers
that go on for
many hours.
Loading memories
scenic sway
can flow on
another day.

Wintertime’s Shadows

Wintertime’s shadows
come with a heart
beating as snowflakes,
God’s work of art.
Scenes all around me
seemingly flow
painted as artwork
that’s white as snow.
Wintertime’s meadows
flow as a stream
painted with moments
that seem as a dream.
Flowing so graceful,
wintertime’s found
with fluffy snowflakes
seen all there around.
Painted as pictures
fluffy and white
wintertime’s shadows
are day also night.

Sailing Seasons

Morning blossoms
with the sun
and all things
that have begun.
Many segments
of the day
morning shows us
in its way.
Scenes of wonder
come in sight
after long times
scenes of night.
Mornings blessings
come with hues
such as greens, reds
yellows, blues.
many colors
blend details
making mornings
scenic sails.
Sailing seasons
across the ways
into mornings
other days.

A Learning Machine

Within a doorway
opens a view
leading to somewhere
then thereunto.
Within a window
there might be seen
places we think that
are just a dream.
Doorways and windows
tattered from time
can become problems
of daily design.
So use those doorways
of which that you found
to find some peace then
on God’s Solid Ground.
Within the windows
that you’ve surely viewed
you might see things that
you’ve misconstrued.
Let all those doorways
and windows you’ve seen
become as lessons
of a learning machine.

Wintertime Will One Day Go

Snowflakes of winter
fade fast from sight
as springs arrival
comes to delight.
Yet maybe white snow
still here and there
paints a few moments,
wintertime’s flair.
Springtime’s arrival
will surely show
after the moments
of wintertime’s snow.
Right now the minutes
of seasons I find
display the patterns
of still wintertime.
But of course wintertime
will one day go
as it diminishes
flavors of snow.

Haiku
for Mar 10, 2012

The weather changes
leaving portions of itself
in the days ahead.

Methods of madness
is formed from wanna gone wild
determination.

Believing in spirits
gives way to belief in God
and more that exist.

Not allowing now
to change with its importance
could cause you to fall.

Many see momentum
as a means for hurrying,
but others see patience.

Leaving a heartache
without seeking remedy
could become baggage.

A hole in a heart
leaves room for troublesome views
found within desire.

Pointing at today
gives no cure for its meaning.
It just makes it seen.

Noticing flowers
gives them reason for blooming,
but they don’t need it.

Yesterdays shadows
come as sometimes bitter pills
that time has displayed.

Glancing at snowflakes
each one falls to Earth softly
while building a scene.

Paintings of people
only display segments seen
that which was painted.

Silver illusions
come as old age from a child
thinking he knows best.

Breathing in today
gives hope for better chances
that come from blessings.

A small puppy’s heart
can hold more love than people
for it’s love is pure.

Glancing at morning
you can see its arrival
even through the clouds.

Silence of shadows
comes as awakening minutes
counted without light.

Bruising a true love
can come back as a nightmare
haunting your future.

Beginnings in time
have their own special moments
that they must move on.

While dreaming of time
you might find a few problems
that truth does provide.

Hindered by winter,
springtime comes slowly in sight
with flowers blooming.

Today’s a new day
filled with many hopes and dreams.
We need to trust God.

Thoughts To Use

Life is often a journey
filled with confusion.
Let the journey be seen
as the best you can do.
God will make good of
what messes you make.

Today is just a page in time
in the book of life. Don’t let
your focus be on the pages
that have yet turned, but on
what that you can do now to
make today much better.
Let yesterday’s pages be
as memories and lessons.
Sometimes a little smile can
change how you feel.
So try on a smile 🙂
