ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends
and
HAPPY EASTER

I hope you are having a blessed day. It’s snowing again up
here. Yeppers, it had all melted away and was not but a few
spots with snow left, but now once again there is white as far
as the eyes can see. Which I might add ain’t far, being that
stuff is really coming down LOL. I took my camera outside
along with my tripod and got a few pictures of me and Benny
or is that Benny and I hehehe. Either sounds OK to me LOL.
Anyways, I took Benny outside to go potty and he was like,
Hey, that fun white stuff is back hehehe. He ran off into the
snow with a gallop LOL. By now, it should be a little bit
deeper. I’ll take him out again when I finish. Right now
he’s warming up in his blanket hehehehe, but every time he
hears me open the front door, he comes running 🙂 LOL.
Judy’s still in bed. I think she’s waiting for me to get done
with my journal. I bet she’s gonna be ready for something
to eat when I do get finished hehehe. I know little Benny’s
gonna be ready to eat. Life up here in Northeastern Maine
is pretty much the same as last week. Yet last Sunday, all
of the snow had pretty much melted away. Oh well, now
we are back to our regular seasonal schedule hehehehe.
Benny has moved from his blanket to his little bed beside
Judy. He has a bed on either side of our bed, so he can
pick where he wants to sleep LOL. We’ve ordered him a
doghouse that I’m sure he will love. It has a latter that
goes to the top of it with a balcony. Of course he will
still sleep in the house with us hehehehe if he wants to.
I’m thinking he will still want to, being he doesn’t like
to be away from us. We’ve given him the car test and
he was a good boy. When Judy and I went to WalMart
he waited patiently for us to return while sitting in the
drivers seat LOL. I’m sure he may have whined a bit,
but he didn’t tear up anything. Of course when the
weather gets warmer, we will have to leave him at
home in his travel house, but he doesn’t seem to mind,
being that’s what he was shipped in. Well as I said
before, there isn’t much new to report from up here
at the Pearce’s Place. It’s still snowing pretty heavy.
Yes, I love snow. It’s a beautiful sight. It reminds
me of the forgiveness that Jesus gives to us as He
washes our sins white as snow. Easter is all about
Him dying for our sins. Always remember, that we
always have a chance to change as long as we are
breathing. Let today be filled with the best changes.
Leave yesterdays transgressions as lessons learned.
Let Jesus cleanse your soul with His Blood as you
ask for His forgiveness. Now, I believe it’s time for
me to be searching for that word or phrase of which
I may be able to use for the title for today’s brand
new poem. So it’s away I go to that little place of
my recollection through all that I have written here
that I like to call RECOLLECT VILLE. I think
I might of stumbled upon a good title, but we shall
see huh hehehehe. Here goes!!!

A Beautiful Sight

When in my sin
forgiveness is near
when I see Jesus then
oh so sincere.
A beautiful sight
is found then that day
when my dear Jesus
takes my sins away.
He is my Savior
and greatest of friends
for He gives blessings
with moments He sends.
He’s the beginnings
of a beautiful sight
when He shows Heaven
that we can delight.
He has the wisdom
beyond what we see
and He can make good
of both you and me.

I hope you enjoyed the poem and maybe even my rambling.
Well. there’s not much to add to what I have already said 🙂
As soon as I finish this, Benny and I might go outside and
play some more in the snow before we wake up Judy LOL.
Then of course I’ll fix us all something to eat. So I guess
it’s time for me to be telling ya what I tell you every week
and that is I wrote some more poems and haiku, but this
time I only did half of what I normally do hehehe being that
I didn’t write anything until this morning and being woken
up to snow tended to distract me hehehe. We’ve already
been outside 3 times this morning playing together. Benny
is like his dad/owner hehehe. He loves the snow. Judy and
I consider him more of a little boy than a dog. He’s our lil
baby 🙂 and we love him. Well as I said, I only wrote half
of what I normally do which means only 5 poems and 10
haiku hehehe. I hope you enjoy some of them. It’s time
once again for me to be searching for that old off switch,
but not before I wish you a most joyous Easter and a
wonderful God filled week. Now to find that freaking
off switch. Found it staring at me in the window just
taunting me saying, “you know you want to play in
the snow, admit it” Mwahahahahaha hehehehehehe.
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

P.S. Judy was awake when I went in and Benny
was trying to get on the bed to give her a kiss and
so I gave him a boost. They’re both now laying
in there asleep again hehehehehehehe. So cute 🙂

Now on with the poems and haiku
This time 5 and 10 hehehehehehe 🙂

Moments That Survive

Morning brings
a pleasant sight,
a new day
from dark of night.
Minutes blissful
seconds seen
as a mornings
own cuisine.
Seasons shadow
each detail
as each moment
then sets sail.
As a page turned
in a book
for another
seasons look.
Bringing values
fast alive
from some moments
that survive.

Easter in Maine

Seen Easter morning
is snow coming down
painting its pictures
right there on the ground.
Easter in Maine
makes ones understand
why they paint Easter eggs
colors by hand.
For if you’ve ever
sought in your sight
some eggs in the snow
the color of white,
you would then also
see why they do
paint all the eggs
the brightest of hue.
This might just seem
a little insane,
but it’s my view
of Easter in Maine.

Paintings of White

Snow is now falling
down from the sky
while now in April
I wonder why.
I sit just watching
snowflakes of white
making a wonderful
scenic delight.
It’s now a blizzard
and I can not see
not but a short way
in front of me.
White snow of morning
time and again
finds its way surely
in Northern Maine.
Scenes all around me
seem to just say
I am the colors
of now and today.
Paintings of white
as April’s begun
show me that winter’s
maybe not done.

Foreseeing

Often foreseeing
might just conclude
that many people
are really rude,
yet often people
that which we see,
might be the shadows
of you and me.
We might be seeing
our daily hue
in many things
that ones say and do.
Often our anger
is just a phase
painted by pictures
found in our ways.
Let today’s venture
be not so bad
seeing but only
the things that are sad.
Look for the goodness
found here and there
as you continue
some moments of prayer.

In Front Of Me

Now I look
outside and see
Christmas sights
in front of me.
White snow falling
from the sky
as it seems that
seasons fly.
Seasonal pages
sort of seen
as the today’s own
magazine.
Now I search
for sights to find
that which look
just like springtime.
Yet the only
things I see
are snowflakes
in front of me.

Haiku
for Apr 8, 2012

A moments minutes
might seem as many decades
through our impatience.

The length of an arm
determines what ones can grasp
if just standing there.

Bitter yesterdays
can form some bad tomorrows.
Let yesterday rest.

Pitfalls of today
can be tomorrows lessons
that are well hidden.

Judgmental people
often see only the bad
and not what that’s true.

Snowbound tomorrows
leave tracks that today can see
as wanted ventures.

Living in sorrow
only guaranties your sadness,
so search for a smile.

Temptations eyesight
brings wanna into today
that can destroy you.

Is now illusion,
or is it your reality?
Do not seek facade.

Lessons in today
are often written real clear.
It’s us that confuse.
