ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

How are you this wintery weekend :)? It looks like
it might finally begin our snow brigade soon as it grows
larger in the days ahead. Yet, today is just cold with
a few clouds filling the skies here and there. Yeppers
mister winter is bringing his trademark across the way
and it looks like it will be here real soon. It’s running
a little later this year than in the past, but it will soon
be here no matter. Benny and Milo are doing well as
the days bring them closer together. They’re lying in
their little doggie beds in the floor right beside me as
I speak/type hehehe. I just went in to fix Judy and I
some breakfast and they followed me in the kitchen
to see what I was doing LOL. It’s too early to feed
them, so I told them they still have some dried food
with Glucosamine and Chondroitin in it in their food
dish if they’re really hungry hehehe. They’ve almost
emptied the 4 gallon water feeder that we got them.
I may have to fill it back up this evening LOL. I’m
eating while I’m typing and it makes it a slow go :).
There’s not much new that’s happened around here.
It’s 36F degrees right now with a high of 38 and it’s
supposed to be a low of 18F. The temperatures will
be dropping a tad in the next few days. Were still
alive and sort of well 🙂 Though I wish the snows
would hurry and get here. It always puts a smile
on my face as I watch the snowflakes falling from
the sky. I’m sure Benny and Milo will also be glad
when they can play in the deep snow. Anyways,
hopefully onto another topic. We had to order us
another remote control for our TV satellite receiver
being Milo knocked it off into the water bowl on
Monday. We have multiple TV’s but it was to
the one that is in the PC room where we spend
most of our time LOL. The TV remote did no
good if we didn’t have the one for the satellite
receiver also LOL. Anyways, Dish TV sent us
a new one and we got it Thursday. Back to the
regular day in day out schedule LOL. I finished
eating my croissant finally. Now I can focus on
my typing hehehe. Both Benny and Milo are back
in their little beds in the floor beside me. I’ll feed
them at 4 PM. They know when to expect food.
LOL, but they still want food no matter the time.
That’s why I leave a bit of healthy dried food in
their doggie dish that they can snack on if they
are hungry. They don’t ever eat much of it, but
enough to help them both. Milo has a touch of
arthritis and so the dried food has Glucosamine
and Chondroitin in it. It’s good for Benny as
well. It has other nourishments in it for the body.
Yes I am a stickler about taking care of our
boys. Milo has some bad teeth being they were
not cared for before we got him, so we bought
him a doggie toothbrush and toothpaste to
brush his teeth with as well as some dental
spray and dentastix. Also we bought some ear
cleaner for them that prevents and kills ear
mites and ticks and reduces ear odor. We also
bought some eye wash/tear stain remover.
So ya can see, I am a stickler about taking
care of our boys hehehe. We might have to
take Milo to the vet to see if she can help out
with his teeth, but they have cleaned up a
lot and his breath is much better LOL. Boy
did it stink before hehehe! Yep, life at the
Pearce’s Place is just a regular doggie home.
LOL they have the run of the place as anyone
would notice walking into our living room 🙂
They don’t tear up anything, but they do
ever so often leave their toys strewn about
along with a few bones LOL. They have a
toy box and every once in a while will put
their toys back in it, but not often hehehehe.
We usually end up doing it for them, but they
are learning. They’ve learned to bark when
they need to go out to potty. Milo will bark
when he is done and ready to come back in.
Hehehe Benny just lets Milo do the barking
and waits for either Judy or I to let them
back in LOL. Benny ain’t stupid hehehehe.
Yes, the two boys are definitely blessings
from God. Yet I often wish they wouldn’t
lay so close to my legs in bed hehehe. It
makes it hard to relax, but they soon get
the hint and move over after I’ve nudged
them a few times with my legs hehe LOL.
Judy and I thank God for these gifts from
Heaven. They show us unconditional love
as we should do others. God’s love is truly
unconditional, but to get into Heaven, you
must love Him and His Son. Do you love
God and Jesus which are one of the same?
Do you thank God for all of the blessings
you have received even in the moments
that the blessings might be something you
might not want. Yes God knows what we
want, but He knows that what we want
is not always the best for us and so He will
often intercede with His Will. Yet often He
will allow us with our wantings as blessings
to be as lessons to teach us better what we
really need or do not need. Sometimes the
best blessing is a lesson that we gained and
lived through. Don’t let the past to live as
should’ve could’ve. Learn what’s needed
to be learned and make today better while
using the trials and mistakes of the past as
lessons. God gave us a memory for that
purpose. Now I believe it’s about time for
me to be searching back through all that I
have written here to see if I can find a word
or phrase that might work well for the title
for today’s brand new poem. So it’s away
I go to that place of my recollection that I
like to call RECOLLECT VILLE. I think
I may have found a good title not to far back
in my rambling hehehe. Now let’s see what
I can do with it. Here goes………….

Should’ve Could’ve

Memories
of all we’ve done
might just be
a setting sun.
Should’ve could’ve
might then be
all that’s in
our memory.
Scenes partaken
far and wide
often bring us
truth inside.
Segments gathered
found in frame
should’ve could’ve
might rename.
Things we’ve been through
now and then
might just teach us
best from sin.
Should’ve could’ve
then might show
where we really
need to go.

Ok so there ya go hehehe. I have no clue of how
I am able to do this every week, but I’m guessing
it’s my gift from God 🙂 How else can you explain
it LOL? Well, Benny is looking up at me with his
little doggie eyes saying dad, it’s 4 PM feed me 🙂
So, I will as soon as I finish this, but not before.
If he is really hungry, he can eat some of the dried
food in the pan hehehe. He don’t care for it much,
but he does eat it when there is nothing else. I just
heard the water bottle glug as Benny was getting
a drink hehehe. It startles him every once in a while
and makes him jump back hehehe. Milo just keeps
on drinking ignoring the glugging of the water bottle
as it refills the water bowl hehehe. Well again I ask
for prayers for my good friend Tiny/Donald. He is
not expected to live but a few more days. I pray
that God brings Him home and shows him that
greater life with a brand new healthy body. He
might even be as tall in heaven as he is here on
Earth. Tiny is 6’11” or was before his health went
bad and of course years took him down. He’s 85.
He’s one of my best friends from the 70’s. God
is in control as always even when it’s looking
gloomy. The brighter side is Heaven. Milo was
just now getting a drink making the water bottle
to gurgle repeatedly hehehe. The bottle is almost
empty. I’ll need to refill it this evening for sure.
It’s amazing, they went through over 4 gallons
of water in a week hehehe. Namely because
they also have a water bowl in the bedroom 🙂
The stay hydrated for sure LOL especially
Milo hehehe. So it’s time for me to be telling
you what I tell you every week and that is,
I wrote some more poems and haiku. Yep,
10 more poems with 4 of them this time being
Christmas poems. Also I wrote once again
22 more haiku for all of my haiku lovers
out there. I hope you find some of either
that finds a place in your heart and mind.
Now it’s time for me to be searching for that
old off switch, but not before I wish you a
most wonderful God filled week. Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too. Now to find
that off switch. Found ya hehehe. Hiding
inside the water bottle won’t save ya hehe.
It’s clear as well as almost empty LOL 🙂
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Searching For Snowflakes

While winter winds blow
with their Christmastimes breath
I find myself searching
for snowflakes it left.
Yet now the seasons
of wintertime’s ways
shows now just only
some cold wintertime’s days.
Searching for snowflakes
I find myself found
standing now looking
at uncovered ground.
Yet soon the snows will
fall down and display
special times moments
of Christmastime’s day.
So I’ll keep searching
for snowflakes of time
that now weigh heavy
on my Christmas mind.

Morning Will Come

While night is showing
it’s stars in the skies
it soon will end as
the morning reply’s.
Morning will shadow
the night skies cuisine
with all the pictures
we thought but a dream.
Minutes will tick on
as nighttime is done
bringing the ventures
of bright mornings sun.
Soon every instance
of nighttime with stars
can be remembered
as Venus and Mars.
Morning will come
with great things to see
and then the nighttime
will once again be.

Many So Many

Hope finds a viewpoint
within every day
if we will take time
to kneel down and pray.
Many so many
just leave their self will
found with the sadness
that time does fulfill.
Not letting Jesus
to help them along
many so many
just sing a sad song.
So if the burdens
of life finds you sad
look for the goodness
of which that you’ve had.
Reflect on the blessings
that God’s given you
and then step back now
and get a better view.
Today might be better
than thought it could be,
but many so many
just seek not to see,
Let not your wanna
to hide every blessing
behind all the wantings
your daily caressing.

Pointless Plunder

Often so often
so many will steal
what that’s just minutes
of wanted appeal.
Their pointless plunder
that’s surely perceived
leaves many wanting
all they’ve conceived.
Pointless perception
brings ones a view
that is so often
not so very true.
Often so often
then there over under
many will flaw with
their own pointless plunder.
Finding their wantings
that took firm control
leaving them paying
a life’s heavy toll.

Glistening Trees

Christmastimes doorstep
brings ones to view
scenes so magnificent
red green and blue.
Glistening trees
with lights all aglow
often sprayed lightly
with cans of white snow.
Then found outside
are some blessings to see
maybe a snowman
or a snow covered tree.
Glistening flavors
of Christmastimes scenes
lives as the ventures
found in our dreams
and in the night skies
of wintertime’s freeze
there are the Christmastimes
glistening trees.

Nobody’s Perfect

We all make mistakes
some big and some small
and some might seem as
much larger than all.
Nobody’s perfect,
for we all make mistakes
as life goes forwards
with all it partakes.
Don’t think you’re perfect
and put others down.
Take notice what all
your spreading around.
Often our mistakes
might seem to just flow
as that of rivers
of an over ego.
Many have flaws
that we may not see,
because they are hidden
from both you and me.
Yet we all mimic
that imperfect stride
as nobodies perfect,
but Jesus inside.

Bits and Pieces

Seasons greetings
come at glance
with the sight of
song and dance.
Many blessings
come to be
as the seasons
first holly.
Bits and pieces
found on cue
bring us Christmas
and its view.
Put together
oh so fine
Christmas displays
God Divine.
Through His Son
with love and grace
Christmas gives
a smiling face.
All the blessings
bits and pieces
Christmastime’s
love then releases.
Spreading cheer
around the world
from The Seed
that God unfurled.

Painted Doorways

Winters pictures
come and go
some with raindrops
some with snow.
Painted doorways
that we see
become as our
history.
Christmas journeys
far and wide
display as we
coincide.
Many lights are
on each house
showing Christmas
to arouse.
Even trees are
twinkling too
with a sight
red, green and blue.
Painted doorways
found sublime
bring us to
our Christmastime.

Now Can Be Great

Even when troubles
are knocking you down
now can be great
with a smile not a frown.
Often our impressions
of how that we are
brings us the verdict
of moments by far.
Now can be great
if you’ll just try to view
better the moments
of then thereunto.
It takes some thinking
to turn things around
making things better
what had brought you down.
Now can be great
if we’ll just learn to see
what God has given
to both you and me.

It Will Come

Time to time
and now and then
it will come
from where and when.
Time to time
we might be found
standing on
some sinking ground.
Things we’ve seen
from when and where
might become
remembered flair.
Times we’ve pondered
yet to see
might become
our history.
It will come
those times detail
in God’s time
so never fail.
Let God’s choices
said and done
live and breathe
for it will come.

Haiku
for Dec 8, 2012

Sometimes a moment
is only a mere moment
and not nothing more.

A flower that blooms
only shows it can blossom,
but not how it smells.

Different people
leave their own style decisions
that look good to them.

Kindred encounters
come as shadows of lifestyles
that may not be true.

The answers to time
are given in the seconds
that minutes portray.

Reviving true love
might not work out so greatly
if that time has passed.

Listening to wind
brings the mind in alignment
to each passing breeze.

A page that’s written
might be found as wrongly done
by perfectionist’s.

Placing a heartbeat
where there is no one to share
might cause you heartache.

Beyond yesterday
lives the minutes of each day
that gives us all hope.

Winter might bring chills,
but the snowflakes that follow
give us much beauty.

Many find answers
in the unlikely places
we thought not to look.

Ignorance is good
when it means to leave alone
what you know not of.

Fields of snowflakes
come as glimmers of Christmas
with billows of white.

When mirrors reflect
they show a persons features
that they may not like.

Believing in God
gives a chance for redemption
through His Saving Grace.

Hearing an echo
gives knowledge of the maker
either alive or dead.

Baking a biscuit
needs you to turn the stove on
and then have patience.

Truth is a language
that many will never speak,
so listen closely.

A glimpse of Christmas
comes as many twinkling lights
on a Christmas tree.

Seasons memories
display as fragments of time
that make us to smile.

Today brings us hope
for a better tomorrow
if we will use it.
