Often The Blessings

Hello my friends

My fingers are cracked and sore right now and it’s
making it real hard to type. I’ve got some medicine
on the worst one and bandaged it up, but it is still
hard to type LOL, ouchy. I’ll try to ignore the pain
long enough to get a few of my thoughts typed out.
It’s snowing a bit outside right now. Benny and Milo
have been out playing in it hehehe. They come back
in with snowy beards every time LOL. I took a little
video of them playing in the snow as well as a few
pictures. Judy and I have been staying inside and
out of the weather as best that we can, being we’re
still feeling a bit peaked, but we’re getting to feeling
better as time marches on. Darn my index finger is
hurting hehehe. The bandages aren’t helping but
to hinder my typing hehehe. Oh well, it could always
be worse. It’s 23F degrees right now at 9:30 AM,
but it’s supposed to get up to 36F degrees today and
then start dropping down to -7F degrees tonight 🙂
Tomorrows high is supposed to be 7F degrees and
then tomorrow night get down to -15F degrees brrr.
Yet that still ain’t bad for this time of year hehehe.
We’ve had a whole bunch worse in the past. Judy
and I moved up here in the record snow storm in
the winter of 2007-2008. Then we went through the
coldest winter of 2008-2009. There was nary a day
go by for almost a month that was above zero. We
had many days of -50F degrees and below that 🙂
The ignition wouldn’t even click in our poor little
Texas bought Mazda. After that of course I went
and bought the highest amperage battery I could
get for our little car. It should be a problem no more.
I’m getting ready to trim up my beard a bit being
Christmas has passed hehehe. No I am not shaving
it off LOL. Don’t wanna scare the neighbors hehehe!
I’ve gotta keep this ugly mug hidden so I don’t scare
all the kids as well hehehe. Oh yea, I have some sad
news. Do you remember me asking for prayers for my
friend Tiny/Donald? Well he passed away the other
day. He was 85. He is now in Heaven feeling no pain.
God has healed him and given him a new body that
shall last for eternity. I welcome the day that I see
him as well as the many others that have gone before
me. So his passing is not in vain. He is now one of
the many angels to watch over us. I’ll know it’s him
when I sense a giant in the house hehehe. He’s one
angel that will have to hunch over to come in our
house 🙂 Love ya Tiny. See ya soon. Now on with
my rambling. This is getting to be heck as this darned
bandage keeps making me hit two keys at a time 🙂
and also sticking to them LOL. Oh well, it’s been
a lot worse! Benny and Milo are in their beds right
beside me in the floor. Milo is snoring hehehehehe.
He doesn’t have a snore pattern. He just snores a
little off and on LOL and with no rhythm hehehehe.
Judy and I worked on our Farm Town farms on
Facebook just a bit ago, being we were both too
peaked to do it last night LOL. Later today we
might plant again hehehe, but then we have a few
farms that will be ready to harvest then as well 🙂
Ain’t we exciting!!!!???? Tonight we’re gonna
watch Finding Bigfoot on TV hehehe. I wonder
what they’re gonna do when they find him????
Better yet, what if he’s ticked off at the moment
about them always bothering him and he wants
to tear them apart? I don’t think he’s gonna be
intimidated by a freaking camera hehehehehe!
I myself have never seen Bigfoot, but I’m not
saying he don’t exist. Just saying that maybe
he don’t wanna be bothered ya think hehehehe.
Bigfoot might exist, but then just because I have
not seen one doesn’t mean it isn’t there. We have
already uncovered many things that we thought
did not exist. Many can say they do not believe
in God, just because they can’t see Him, but
the fact is that God is all around us in the things
we see, hear, smell and touch every day. You
cannot see the wind, but you can see what it
does. You can’t see the air, but you can breath
it. OK unless you live in LA hehe and then you
can see it 🙂 The point is, that just because you
can’t see something doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
Let God’s spirit live within you as each day goes
by. Seek for the blessings that He gives us each
day. Often the blessings will be hidden behind
something that we think we need, but are only
wanting. Let your wants to be not as great as
your needs. You surely might find less stress.
Well these confounded bandages are giving me
a hard time, so I guess I need to take this time
to reflect on all that I’ve written here and see
if I can find a good word or phrase that might
work well for the title for today’s brand new
poem. So it’s away I go back through all my
recollection to that place that I always like to
call RECOLLECT VILLE. I think I might of
found a good title just a bit back. Hope I can
come up with a few good words to put together
in form of a poem using it hehehe. Here goes.

Often The Blessings

Soon many portions
of time that are found
will be the blessings
of God’s solid ground.
Often the blessings
will be hid from view
living in the things
that we say and do.
So many people
will not see the gain
and let the moments to
drive them insane.
Often the blessings
that God does display
are in the things
we see every day.
Don’t let His blessings
to end in despair.
Often the blessings
are found in a prayer.

Ok so there ya go. LOL I had to take off the
bandages because I kept hitting the wrong keys
because of them LOL. I now have just one small
band aid on my finger and it’ll do till I finish this.
Why couldn’t my pinky finger get messed up instead
of the fingers I use all the time to type. My middle
finger and index finger on both hands are messed
up. I’m almost finished. First I want to ask once
again for prayers for my brother in law DD. He
is undergoing test for his cancer to see what they
will be able to do. My sister is really distraught.
Her and DD have been married for 38 years and
they’ve got 3 great kids as well as grandchildren.
Well I just heard the snowplow rolling down the
road again trying to keep the roads cleared off.
During wintertime, snowplows are heard quite
often hehehe. Our landlord plowed our driveway
and our road leading to the main road a little
while ago. The boys wanted to go out, but I
made them wait until Calvin was finished with
the plowing. Well, it’s time for me to be telling
you what I tell you almost every week and that
is I wrote some more poems and haiku. Yep,
I wrote 10 more poems. Nope no Christmas
poems this week hehehe. Yet I did once again
write 22 more haiku for all of my haiku lovers
out there 🙂 I hope you find something that
brings a smile to your face. So, now it’s time
for me to be searching for that old off switch
that loves to play hide and seek, but not before
I wish you a most joyful and God filled week.
Remember, Jesus loves you and we do too.
Now, where’s that blasted off switch hiding
this time? I see ya you little whippersnapper.
Trying to act like a snowflake in the window
won’t save ya. It ain’t snowing inside ya silly!
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

P.S. One of the poems is a Valentine poem
titled My Valentine that I wrote for Judy 🙂
Also I wrote another poem for the boys hehe
titled Snow Will Fall. Enjoy 🙂

Many Struggle

Many might struggle
with what all they see,
because it’s not what all
that they wish to be.
Seasonal pictures
might come into mind
when many struggle
with what all they find.
Often our choices
will bring into view
things that we never
had wished to be true.
Time might forsaken
what all that we want
displaying only
some timeframes to taunt.
Monetary things
that money can buy
many will struggle with
until they die.
Leaving their minutes
just counted in place
wanting and wishing
for just but a taste.
Yet when those people
so often are found
they have no happiness
just but a frown.
See what’s important
for you now today
and lose the wishing well
leading to grey.
Find deep within you
your blessings from God
that which no money
can ever applaud.

Raindrops Fall

When the clouds
above float by
they pour raindrops
from the sky.
Raindrops fall
as days move on
with the sight of
brand new dawn.
Pouring raindrops
on the ground
with a pitter
patter sound.
Raindrops fall
and make to flow
rivers waters
where they go.
Then those raindrops
soon will cease
leaving scents of
seasons peace.

Lily Pads

Ponds found southward
standing still
have the sights
that times fulfill.
Lily pads
with frogs upon
are found floating
in each pond.
Scented flowers
right beside
are what’s seen then
far and wide.
Lily pads
that float on top
seem to always
never stop.
All the frogs
that sit and stare
often jump
from here to there.
The lily pads
that float each day
seem to never
go away.
Yet of course
those leaves of time
soon will be
real hard to find.
Winters scenes
will freeze the pond
making lily
pads be gone.

Snow Will Fall

Puppies lying
on the bed
dream of snowflakes
on their head.
They are dancing
while they sleep
dreaming of
the snow so deep.
Snow will fall
so gracefully
and the pups
will seek to see.
Yet they’re now just
lying there
as they dream of
winters wear.
Scenes are building
snowy mounds
for these little
sleeping hounds.
Times are counted
over all
while they dream that
snow will fall.

To Benny and Milo 🙂

My Valentine

Loving days
of Valentine
display moments
own design.
Flavored candies
given true
are the things
we often do.
Yet of course
that wondrous time
is for love
of Valentine.
You my love
I always see
as the one
that’s meant for me.
Yes my dear
my Valentine
you were best
for me to find.
Now as years pass
time does tell
that our love
is doing well.
You love me
and I love you
my Valentine
forever true.

The Stage Is Set

Today as minutes
turn to hours
time proposes
snowflake flowers
The stage is set
for wintertime
with white snow
to surely find.
Trees are blossomed
whitish hue
while I seek
my daily view.
The stage is set
for scenes to see
as I watch so
Winter’s stage is
painted white
for each day
and also night.
Fluffy snowflakes
fall and land
making pictures
oh so grand.
The stage is set
with everything
while time flies
awaiting spring.

All The Chills

Soon the chill
of wintertime
will be found
real hard to find.
Yet right now
the winter winds
leave the sights
the time transcends.
All the chills
of winter’s view
find a place
with me and you.
Moments counted
left and right
winter’s chilling
every sight.
Even nighttimes
painted story
is a winter
Winds so briskly
blow on through
painting every
winter view.
Counting brushstrokes
I just wait
for the pictures
date to date.
All the chills
that winter’s show
are then followed
with white snow.
Painted essence
here and there
display all that
none compare.
All the chills
I thought so cold
now are fashioned
very bold.
Found as rhythms
landing fast
beating pleasures
shadows cast.
All the chills
of then and there
now are found
as whitish glare.
All those snowflakes
that fell down
made much beauty
on the ground.

Pathways trodden
in the snow
display where
so many go.
Maybe deer
or maybe moose
that’s what footprints
do deduce.
Maybe even
peoples feet
where they gathered
then to meet.
Pathways displayed
far and wide
where a few then
chose to ride.
On a snow sled
here to there
pathways glisten
there to share.
Pathways meet
where time connects
with a little
snow affects.
Soon the snowflakes
will come down
and hide footprints
on the ground.
Then those pathways
that were laid
might have different
depth and shade.

A Story Is Told

The words to a story
that time does unfold
become the pages
from young unto old.
No matter the wording,
no matter what’s found,
the words to a story
might become a sound.
Within a story told
the words might begin
as once upon a time
found way on back when.
The stories might change
as time moves along
and many might perceive them
the wording all wrong.
Sometimes our history
loses what is true
when we just focus on
what we want to do.
The words can be better
right now from the old
if we’ll tell the truth
as a story is told.
Don’t change the wording
for your own to shine.
Make the story told
be a truthful design.

Often Our Lives

When lives are chosen
to leave from this place
God has a plan for
their time and space.
Often our lives are
filled with despair,
because of the thinking
that God doesn’t care.
But it’s much different
than that don’t you see,
for God has a plan for
you and for me.
We might find sorrow
at times that we lose,
but it’s God’s plan
that’s much better to choose.
Angels born in Heaven
from death here on Earth
brings the perception
of a much greater birth.
Often we will struggle
with what all we know
and not ever want to
let somebody go.
So let God live in you
as each day is found
and you will find then
some firm solid ground
Often our lives will
still be confused,
but through Lord Jesus
you won’t be refused.

for Jan 19, 2013

Many will follow
and end up in much trouble
while blaming others.

Now find its problems
often as things to put off
for generations.

The shell of today
will cascade into pictures
that are found inside.

Winds of winter
often give us a surprise
that we wake up to.

Flurry’s of snowflakes
find their way across the road
making snow mounds.

Sleepy eyes flutter
as the hours tick on by
leaving bloodshot eyes.

The TV makes noise
making it real hard to think
so I’ll turn it off.

Behind closed curtains
lies the glimmers of today
that might hurt the eyes.

True love is greater
than your yesterdays shadows.
Treat it with respect.

Waves of emotion
come often as a surprise
when you are sleepy.

People that seek flaws
will often overlook the good
and not see the truth.

Too many flowers
fall prey to the hard weather
without being seen.

Losing your mindset
could leave you in a dark place.
Open up your eyes.

Windows to today
are often not clearly seen
for they are dirty.

A chance for a time
comes in patterns of minutes
we’ve found good or bad.

Leaving a passage
such as a written letter
helps you remember.

Distraught emotions
leave sadness in tomorrow
unless they are dealt with.

With every footstep
we can decide better views
for footprints in time.

As snow billows down
it leaves ripples in the day
that our eyes perceive.

A young ones viewpoints
might be better than we thought,
but pride holds us back.

When shadows display
they follow the owners steps
even if they are dead.

Life is God given
and many let it slip by
without seeking good.
