ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

How have you been holding out? We’ve been doing fairly
well. Not too much has happened out of the ordinary over
here. We’ve been just doing our daily routines as our old
body’s would allow them hehehe. The boys have gotten
their final shearing and are looking quite nice. Of course
we’ll have to do some trimming ever so often until winter
comes for a visit. Then we’ll let their hair grow out just
as we did last winter. We’ve got all of the dog grooming
stuff that we need now. So it’s not so hard to shear them.
It’s just a tad messy hehehe. They almost look like they
did when we got them aside from Milo’s hairdo that we
left on his head. His hair is parted in the middle. Oh and
of course they have both grown a bit since we got them 🙂
The last time they were weighed was in March and Benny
weighed in at 20.7 pounds and Milo weighed 24.7 pounds.
So ya see, they are pretty much the same size with just
4 pounds apart. Milo is a bit longer then Benny which
accounts for his extra weight. In any sense, they are
as brothers no matter what. You can see the love as
they hang out together and play together. Milo might
be 7 years older than Benny, but you’d never know it
by looking at them. Yes Benny has more energy than
Milo hehehe, but Milo attempts to keep up with him 🙂
Benny is our little overactive doorbell. He barks if he
hears any movement outside at all LOL. All I can say
is I’m glad we don’t live in the city hehehe. He has
though toned it down a tad after getting used to a few
of the sounds such as neighbors with their 4 wheelers
and lawnmowers. He’s a good boy. He thinks he’s
our protector and yes of course when Benny makes
a dash for the front door barking, Milo is never far
behind him LOL. Yeppers, this house has its many
moments of excitement. Judy and I have our up days
and down days. Sometimes we have to let our farms
on Farm Town/Facebook have a break, because we
don’t feel up to par. We do still go to them maybe
every other day or so and plow, plant and harvest.
We haven’t played our hidden object games in a long
while, but I’m sure we’ll get back to them one day.
I have yet to have heard whether or not my external
hard drive is repairable or not. I’m just waiting for
their call. I’ve said a prayer for the hard drive, but
that’s all I can do. If it can’t be repaired, I’ll have to
resort to stealing and sorting all of the pictures that
are on Judy’s hard drive. In other words, a long
drawn out process hehehehe. I wish Windows Live
email would let me put my subscribers emails in
groups as I had with my Outlook Express, but it
will not work. I would have to send to everybody
one at a time and that is never gonna happen LOL.
I’m getting ready to send my old PC to Texas so
they can work on it and maybe get it to working
properly again. Maybe this month some time in
the next week or so. In any case, I guess all will
be well in some manner hehehe. One of my friends
in Texas called me last night to ask me to put in for
a prayer request. One of her friends is now in the
hospital on life support. The doctors cannot at the
moment find out what has caused his heart to stop.
Please send him prayers. God knows the address
and his name 🙂 So often we might think that God
is not around because of all of the problems, but
that can’t be further from the truth. God is always
around, but will often allow what He knows best
to happen for He knows the end results. If a life
has ceased to breathe in the flesh, it will live on
as maybe someone’s angel or find where they’re
happiest at and live for eternity in Heaven. Yet of
course if the life was that of a darker spirit find an
eternity living in Hell. There are also many spirits
that have unfinished business or have just lost their
way. Not all are bad. Some are just confused at
what happened. Life and death are something that
we will never truly understand. All I know is, that
life does go on in some manner or form. God has
control of it all. He might not do what we would like
for Him to do, but He does what is for the best.
I still speak to my dad and I know he can hear me
and often I feel him standing beside me smiling.
Thank you God for all that you have done and all
that you will continue to do. You’ve taken great
care of Judy and I and made sure that we have all
that we need. Have you thanked God lately? If
not, then how about right now. Thank Him for the
things that you’re unaware that He has done for
you as well as the things that you know of. You’ll
find a smile through that thankfulness. Now it’s
time for me to begin my little visit back through all
that I have written and see if I can find a good word
or phrase that I can use for the title for today’s new
poem. So, it’s away I go to that little place of my
recollection that I like to call RECOLLECT VILLE
to find that title 🙂 I think I may have found a good
title, but we shall see huh hehehehe. Here goes.

Beside Me Smiling

My dear daddy
stands by me
but his sight
I cannot see.
Beside me smiling
he is there
as my daily
answered prayer.
He is always
there at hand
with his words
to help me stand.
Beside me smiling
every day
he will never
go away.
I know daddy
is with me
to help me be
the best to be.
He’s my guardian
angel true
that from God
shall not adieu.
He’ll be there
until I die
to say hello,
but not goodbye.
We’ll then fish
the Heavens streams
as that of
our favorite dreams.
Then my Paw Paw
will join in
as we all just
fish agin.

So how was that hehehe? I know I tend to get deep
from time to time. That’s me. There ain’t no shallow
thinking in here LOL, although I’m sure that Judy
would argue that hehehe. I do get silly from time to
time. Hey, someone that is serious all of the time
will accrue but only ulcers. Trust me I know. I lost my
colon and a third of my small intestines due to ulcers.
which turned to Crohn’s disease and almost killed me.
Find a little laughter in the mistakes that you make
and the things around you, but don’t go overboard.
Find seriousness in the appropriate timeframes of
life. Benny and Milo are in their playful moods now.
Running around the house playing chase hehehehe.
Now Milo just scratched on the door to say that he
needs to go out and go potty. Judy just let him out.
He’ll be right back in after he does his thing hehehe.
He prefers to be inside. Judy just said he didn’t
want to go out. I think they might be just wanting
a treat LOL or me to play with them. Either one
will have to wait until I finish writing. Milo scratched
on the door again, so I walked him to the front door.
This time he went out to go pee. He’s back in and
this time for sure wanting treats the same as Benny.
Judy’s giving them each a piece of Bark’n Bacon.
Benny didn’t want his. I think he’s waiting for me
to feed them LOL. I just handed him his piece of
bacon and he took it and ran out of the room hehehe.
So, that’s the excitement within the Pearce’s Place.
Both of my brother in laws are doing as well as to
be expected. God is in control. Now, I believe it’s
time for me to be telling you what I tell you every
week and that is, I wrote some more poems and
haiku. Yeppers, 10 more poems, but yet one of
them this time being a Christmas poem HoHoHo.
I also wrote once again 22 haiku for all of my haiku
lovers out there. I hope you find some of each that
bring you a smile or a lesson. Now it’s time for
me to be searching for that darned off switch that
loves to try and elude me, but not before I wish
you a most wonderful God filled week. Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too. Ok, where’s that
freaking off switch hiding this time? Looking up
at the chandelier I think I see a crystal that does
not belong hehehe. Hey, it’s a cheap 10 dollar
chandelier hehehe. I see ya dangling there LOL.
Ya might want to hide behind the crystals and not
in front of them next time ya silly hehehehehehe.

the minutes found
are still surmounting.

as history.
So minutes found
or so to say
I’ll just repeat
hello today.

When With A Dream

While I am sleeping
I might find a dream
that is just floating
in a boat on a stream.
Then as the waters
of time begin true
when with a dream
becomes seas of blue.
As the dream blossoms
I might see a sight
when with a dream
of which I delight.
Times only fathomed
that are found in a dream
wonderful moments
might surely be seen.
When with a dream
of things gone away,
you can create
a much better day.
Yet when while dreaming
you might need to know
that a dream is just a dream
and the truth will bestow.

Seasons Rain

The stage is set
for seasons view
to do what all
that it will do.
The seasons rain
will fall on down
to be as waters
on the ground.
So many sights
will come to be
when seasons rain
gives them to see.
The flowers bloom
and trees will grow
along with grass
that many will mow.
The stage is set
while I look out
at seasons rain
without a doubt.

Guarding You Heart

Your yesterdays
might seem real bad,
but it can be
good that you had.
The lessons learned
from long ago
might of taught
your need to know.
Yes so often
through those days
you might only
see the grays.
and guard your heart
too great to find
someone true
that is so kind.
Guarding your heart
is good to do,
but don’t let past
to cloud your view.
Sometimes people
long ago
were just there
to help you grow.
God allows
some things in time
to help to grow
your best design.

Pointless Prayer

As people stray
they often find
a pointless prayer
within their mind.
Yet there’s none
that God can view
that is pointless
which is true.
A pointless prayer
can only be
one that is not
good to see.
So let God to
discern prayer
and determine
love and care.
Take your troubles
to Him now
and let prayers
in Him endow.
No pointless time
for prayer of need
is found within
His Love indeed.

Thoughts Within

Beyond a sight’s
a single thought
found within
a moment sought.
Our thoughts within
might be displayed
as the things
our moments made.
For those thoughts
of thinking times
might not be
the best designs.
Those thoughts within
that live today
might just need
to go away.
Those thoughts within
can become true
and not be
the best for you.

Found In The Silence

As darkness grows deeper
and time moves along
found in the silence
are things that belong.
Nothing is heard but
the sound of the wind
as it blows peacefully
just like a friend.
Found in the silence
my thoughts come to be
filling my thinking of
what I will see.
Silence brings patterns
that I haven’t heard
sometimes in darkness
a little absurd.
Yet I don’t fear it
for I truly know
found in the silence
my prayers help me so.
Darkness is only
a part that’s not seen
that many make up
a nightmare to dream.
For surely spirits
are there day and night
that many only
cannot live in light.
God is protector
and truthful defense
from all the darkness
found in the silence.

Seconds of Christmas

Often the minutes
and seconds we find
leave us just thinking
of sweet Christmastime.
Seconds of Christmas
might seem not to be
then at the moment
the best times to see,
but then as the seconds
are found later on
we might be sad for
the time that is gone.
Seconds of Christmas
might seem to be small,
but as time moves
you remember them all.
Let not those seconds
to find just regret.
Make them remembered
as Christmas banquet.
Maybe even wonderful
seconds to see
that have brought joyful
in greatest degree.
Let not the sadness
to fill up your view.
Seconds of Christmas
can live within you.

Summertime Views

With every perception
of every connection
through every display
of summertime’s day,
I find intersections
in many directions
through every which way
of June after May.
I find that I’m seeing
what summer’s repeating
as timeframes are found
with summer around.
The seasons would being
could be garment freeing
as ones dance around
on the sand laden ground.
The summertime views
gives heat driven news
while many go swimming
within the beginning.
At last ones can choose
the summertime views
or be just agreeing
of all that they’re seeing.
With cameras in hand
on the summertime sand
you can snap one or two
of your summertime views.
Then take you a strand
of the summertime sand
and make it brand new
in a summer sky blue.

While I Await

The night brings hope
of mornings sun
while await
the time begun.
The minutes pass
while I await
the minutes now
of oh so late.
While the minutes
tick on by
I just count
or give a try.
Yet of course
while counting true
while I await
I change my view.
For the moment
that I see
I am happy
here with me.
God is here
as I give praise
while I await
for future days.

Haiku
for June 9, 2013

While many stumble
they might also be learning
how not to stumble.

Within a raindrop
is life that begins minute
and makes a river.

The chances we give
will often not show progress
until we are gone.

Times of our worry
could become our only view
if we allow them.

Windows of our mind
will often get real foggy
in times full of stress.

Without a heartbeat
a life within human flesh
is only a ghost.

In summers season
comes the rains that cool the days
while shade is so scarce.

As morning arrives
the sun peeks through my window
to tell me hello.

A simple moment
can become very stressful
if out of context.

Stupidity thrives
as many refuse to learn
what ones are teaching.

A pattern is made
as footsteps are continued
in a direction.

Ones seeking knowledge
often look the wrong places
and find empty minds.

A shadow can’t live
without a single spirit
to help it exist.

As minutes will pass
so will the chances for change
so don’t waste your time.

Growth of a flower
begins with a small seedling
that has been planted.

The echoes of time
could be misinterpreted
with lack of knowledge.

Wintertime just waits
for summer and fall to cease
and give way for snow.

Many will follow
where so many are leading
and blindly fall prey.

A sunlight glimmer
shines brightly through my window
as morning awakes.

Today gives blessings
that we’ll never clearly see
until it is time.

In a single glance
one might think they know the truth,
but the sight is short.

Hearing someone’s words
could be beginning or end
of what that was said.
