A Journey Back

Hello my friends

It’s that time of the week once again for me to find all of my
rambling thoughts and try and put them into words. So here’s
this weeks journal. How have you been? We’ve been doing
fairly well keeping our heads above water hehe. Yes it’s been
raining a lot. It’s 79 F degrees right now at 5:30 PM. Not too
bad. I’ve got our air conditioner settings on dry mode and it
seems to cool the house nicely. Dry mode is the dehumidify
mode that pulls the humidity out of the air and uses it to cool
the room. It’s more economical than to use the COOL mode
which uses the AC compressor. The boys often lie down in
front of it LOL Milo especially hehehe. OK onto another
topic. The sun is shining a bit right now, but I’m sure it will
soon be hidden once again behind the rain clouds. I can see
them blowing in. I’m guessing that summer has finally made
it for its appearance up here. I took a drive yesterday in a
rainstorm to get us some more eggs from Sunnyside Farm.
Judy made a peanut butter cake Friday night and used all
but one of our eggs LOL. I’ll tell ya what, that cake taste
mighty fine. Peanut butter frosting with chocolate cake.
We’ve almost eaten it all up hehehe. Oh yea, my friends
Ron and Mandy at Century Computer in Texas were
able to get my info off of my external hard drive and put
it on a new hard drive. I have it now and am very happy
to have it back. I’m waiting to get paid so I can send my
old PC to them to see if they can repair it as well. If they
can, then I’ll go back to using it and only use this PC for
a back up system being it does work sort of LOL. Well,
now what is there to talk about? We’re getting ready to
give the boys another haircut, being their hair seems to
be growing rather fast LOL. Don’t want them to have a
heatstroke. Benny’s birthday is coming up on July 16th.
He’ll be 2 years old. He’s getting older, but surely not
acting like it LOL. He still acts like that pup that we got
March 10 2012. He’ll always be our little boy. Milo will
always be our old man, Benny’s big bro. Milo will be 9
October 31. They are the greatest brothers even if they
aren’t blood related hehehe. Well, the sunshine is almost
gone now as the clouds are filling up the skies once again.
Oh well, come on rain. I’m sure that many of you would
love to have some of this rain 😉 I like it because it cools
it down a bit. The temperature has already dropped to
76 F degrees at 6 PM. No complaint from me hehehehe.
Both of the boys are lying down in the floor behind me.
Benny is lying in a doggy bed and Milo is lying on the
floor all stretched out LOL. The floor must feel cool
against his body being we ain’t got carpet in this room.
I took some nice pictures this week being I caught a few
without raindrops hehehe. OK so now the sun is gone
and firmly hidden behind the clouds and the temperature
has dropped to 75 F degrees at 6:17 PM. It’s cooling
down rather quickly wouldn’t ya say LOL! Milo has
gotten up out of the floor and gotten in his doggy bed
behind me. Their beds move around the room quite
a bit due to them relocating them to wherever they
want to be at that moment LOL. They have dog beds
all throughout the house. A couple in the living room
and 3 or 4 in our bedroom hehehe. They spend a lot
of time dragging them to wherever they want to sleep
at that moment LOL. Yes, they are very silly and
yes we condone it LOL. It hurts no one! So what else
is going on around the Pearce’s Place? That is a good
question! We have been giving Farm Town a break
quite a bit and only doing it every other day or so :).
I have not been feeling very well and Judy has also
been under the weather a bit. I can barely walk due
to my legs and ankles being swollen. My ankles are
always swollen hehehe so that ain’t nothing new. Oh
well, I’m grateful to be able to walk at all. It doesn’t
stop me from going for walks to take pictures hehehe.
I just stow the pain and enjoy the view. The weather
might be playing a part in my legs aching LOL, but my
ankles have been this way for many years. I fractured
them about 10 years ago and due to my weird anatomy
they will not heal. The doctors couldn’t do anything to
help, so onwards I go hehehe. Oh well, enough of
that LOL. Now onto another topic. The boys have
moved around a bit hehehe. Milo is lying right behind
me on the floor again and Benny has left the room to
go to the living room and play. He loves to play with
his toys in the living room. I just now got up to go to
the kitchen to get Judy and I a soda water and Benny
followed me back in here. He’s now eating some dried
dog food that we leave out for them to eat if they get
hungry. They prefer their Ole Roy or Mighty Dog,
but the dried food keeps them sustained until time to
be fed. They just came over to me wanting me to pet
them. LOL they get jealous if I pet one and not the
other, so the push and shove begins to see who can
get closest and be petted hehehe. Ok so I stopped
petting them both and they are lying down in the
floor again. I’ve gotta be real careful where I roll
my chair or I’m gonna flatten a dog LOL. They are
hungry and it’s time for me to feed them, but it will
have to wait until I finish writing hehehe. Patience
my boys, patience 🙂 This home has most surely
been blessed. We do have our share of problems,
but all in all life is good. I still miss my family and
friends in Texas and thereabouts, but at the moment
I can do nothing about it. Maybe God willing, I can
one day make a journey back south, but it is in His
Hands not mine. As is, we cannot afford it. Yet I do
thank God that we live in this day and age, being if
we were back even as far as the 80’s or beyond we
would not be able to send emails and pictures to our
family and friends which in my book are often one
of the same. Way back before cars and telephones
just a few miles would be like thousands of miles
and many would never see one another. So I am very
thankful to be able to call my mom and friends to
hear their voices and send them emails along with
many pictures and even receive pictures from them.
Otherwise I would be dependent on the mail and
the messages would not get to there destination
until much later dates. We even have chats now
where you can chat with friends on the net that
might even live in another country. Yes we have
our share of problems, but all in all life is good.
The world has always had struggles of one type
or another and at the time they seemed enormous.
Let God fill your heart with His love and learn to
be grateful for the tiniest things. Don’t let others to
take away your smile with their close mindedness
of the joys of life. Seek to see the blessings that
are among us every day. I think the news on TV
focuses way to much on the negative things and
not enough on the good things. Try looking for
the silver linings in the clouds. Now I believe
it’s about time for me to begin my journey back
through all that I’ve written to see if I can find
a good word or phrase that I can use for the title
for today’s brand new poem. So it’s away I go to
that place of my recollection that I always like to
call RECOLLECT VILLE. I think I found a title
that I haven’t already used LOL. I hope I can do
something with it hehehe. Here goes!

A Journey Back

Timeless doorways
entered through
soon become my
days anew.
A journey back
with minds detail
finds the past days
very well.
Things forgotten
now recalled
might become
the best auld.
A journey back
to places seen
in my mind
might seem a dream.
When my minutes
seem off track
I refresh with
a journey back.
A simple picture
or video
takes me where
I used to go.
A journey back
brings mornings sun
with the good times
I have done.

So, there ya go. I know it ain’t no 4th of July poem, but
it will have to do. I write whatever comes to my mind and
that was it LOL. Judy and watched some old videos of us
swimming in the swimming pool at the apartments where
we used to live in Texas. We both were transfixed on the
videos for 2 hours just watching us swimming and floating
in the pool. Yes, we miss those days, but they are gone,
yet not forgotten. We watched a video of us down at Port
Aransas splashing around in an outdoor hot tub hehehehe.
That brought back a lot of good memories as well. Judy
said screen capture a few pictures, so I managed to get
a few good photos out of the videos. We might still one
day make it back to Texas for a visit if it is meant to be.
Yet if we don’t, we have our memories to look back on.
So, now you can see where the poem came from huh 🙂
I guess it’s time for me to be telling you what I tell you
every week and that is, I wrote some more poems and
haiku. LOL, I wrote them all once again early in the
AM hours this morning hehehe. Yeppers, 10 more
poems and 22 more haiku for all of my haiku lovers
out there. So with that said I reckon I need to begin
my search for that confounded off switch, but surely
not before I wish you a most wonderful God filled week.
Remember, Jesus loves you and we do too. Now to
find that off switch. Hmmm, I see movement behind
my camera. There you are ya little whippersnapper.
You had to pick the smallest camera to hide behind
didn’t ya LOL Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

P.S. Hehehe Milo is lying down face first in front
of the fan that is blowing the cool air in here LOL.
He’s not even an inch from the fan hehehehehehe.
Loves that cool air 🙂 Woof Woof Woof!

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Sundial Shadows

As minutes march onwards
the sundials of time
display their footprints
in their own design.
Telling the stories
of shadows we see
as that of portions
accounted degree.
Those sundial shadows
are often displaying
wrong times of day
that the clouds are inlaying.
Scenes in a rainstorm
are vague in their sight
as sundial shadows
are needing sunlight.
As minutes march onwards
the sundial might seem
that of a fairytale
found in a dream.

Fruits of Life

With the taste dewdrops
our life might display
the fruits of life
of day after day.
Flavors recorded
inside of our mind
are the fruits of life
for our eyes to dine.
Tasty sweet morsels
of each day around
are fruits of life
of which to be found.
Found in the mornings
as dewdrops appeal
the fruits of life
are what we can feel.
Reaching arms opened
to gather the day
the fruits of life
have so much to say.
Words as a moment
that came then to be
as that of dewdrops
for our eyes to see.
Let not those dewdrops
to fall from your view.
Record every moment
as each day anew.

Silent Passage

So many journeys
that we often go
are often hidden
and filled full of woe.
A silent passage
from here unto there
many will wander
without not a prayer.
A silent passage
that connects a time
is often found as
as real crooked line.
Journeys so empty
without God above
might find so silently
then without love.
So with your journeys
don’t be one to blame
your life on others
for reasons you came.
Make your own passage
to be better found
as a true pathway
to God’s solid ground.
Yet if a silent
passage ones see
your journey for Heaven
is better to be.

A New Angel

When death is found
a life has begun
with a new angel
to do what is done.
Gathering blessings
while helping each day
as a new angel
a friend might display.
Truth in the moments
of life unto death
there is a pathway
to a new breath.
A new angel born
as many will die
leaves ones to wonder
why Jesus why.
Yet it’s with passing
that angels are found
as many miracles
then come around.
A new angel comes
when flesh life is gone
becoming as helpers
from dusk unto dawn.

Blessed Land

Our stepping stones
of everyday
are often found
in our dismay.
The blessed land
that God provides
are with choices
bumpy rides.
The wavering steps
that many find
come with beginnings
inside our mind.
The stepping stones
of hand in hand
can lead us to
God’s blessed land.
It’s with our choices
now unto then
to try and be better
with lesser of sin.

Focal Point

While summers winds
come blowing through
our focal point
might be askew.
The many scenes
that summer shows
are sometimes
the wind that blows.
The clouds above
that blow on in
sometimes make
the rains begin.
Our focal point
of summers morn
might become
a bit forlorn.
So search to find
the best to see
a focal point
real Heavenly.

Slumbering Thoughts

Thoughts from a dream world
find many pages
turning as stories
of certain ages.
Slumbering thoughts
are often designed
made up as fiction
within ones mind.
Slumbering thresholds
that many enter
become the dream worlds
found front and center.
All of reality
then fades away
leaving a porthole,
slumber to play.
Slumbering thoughts
will surely awaken
often with finding
dreams they’ve mistaken.
Truth is a pathway
slumbering finds
when it has ended
its sleepy designs.

Crystal Smile

A simple smile
from my true love
is God’s gift
from up above.
This Crystal smile
gleams bright each day
in a simple
wondrous way.
The smile so great
across the room
seems to always
just consume.
Her simple smile
brings light to me
that from God
was given free.
This crystal smile
makes troubles fade
leaving only
glimmers trade.
What was only
just a frown
this crystal smile
turns upside down.

To Judy Pearce
From Me 🙂

Thinking Deep

This tiny room
our doggies sleep
leaves me always
thinking deep.
With every thought
within this room
I can sing
a little tune.
All of my thoughts
become as one
gathered together
under the sun.
While thinking deep
the minutes grow
becoming winters
whitest snow.
The snowy trails
these doggies made
became journeys
Heaven laid.
Now as summer
shows its hue
thinking deep
becomes my view.
Now this family
is to keep
with God’s blessings
thinking deep.

After Night is Done

Now morning’s risen
and here comes the sun
finding the glimmers
after night is done.
Scenes are awakened
with many sounds heard
while hearing morning
as the chirp of a bird.
After night is done
the new day is found
with every glimmer
of each sight and sound.
Transfixing shadows
are sunshine’s delight
while morning comes
with glimmers of night.
Then in the pathways
is late evenings sun
to begin agin then
after night is done.

for June 30, 2013

Within a dreamer
holds the hopes for tomorrow
if they are for real.

Journeys take footsteps
where standing still gets no where
leaving just a thought.

With every shadow
there is something making it,
maybe just a tree.

Life is a blessing
needing thankfulness from us
for every moment.

Without any love
our lives would be empty paths,
so thank God for His.

Summer brings us rain
as the afterimage found
when heat is too much.

Long awaited lives
struggle with their perception
of what they’re needing.

Our healing blessings
come from God’s many angels
sometimes as our friends.

Windows of summer
open real wide for sunshine
as ones go swimming.

A letter written
might not be true to the heart
while words often lie.

Lessons from shadows
are often hard to perceive
while they still hold true.

The length of today
is determined by our thoughts
and how we view it.

Life can confuse us
as time passages move on
without an answer.

Soon flowers will bloom
as rain gives sunshine a chance
to breathe life within.

Screens on submarines
have no purpose for a door,
for water flows through.

Meaningless chatter
only fills a room with noise
that often brings sleep.

The seeds of flowers
await their special moment
to rise and blossom.

Two hearts together
can become as one heartbeat
if it is true love.

Many will leave you,
but their hearts may stay with you
as miles separate.

Wanting tomorrow
can cause the loss of today
and all its chances.

Jumbled emotions
often lead to confusion
that time could prevent.

Allowing Jesus
to help with your daily life
can make it better.
