ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s another snow filled day in our little place in the boonies.
Yeppers,  it’s still snowing and it looks like I will have to go
out again like I did Friday and shovel out a few places for the
boys to go potty and explore LOL.  Benny loves to explore
so I’ve gotta keep an eye on him hehehe.  He loves it when
I go outside and walk in the snow,  because he can walk in
my footsteps without falling through LOL.  Milo is much of
the same in that area.  Yet,  Benny is still just a pup and he
loves to play in the snow like his dad.  Yes,  I like to play in
the snow.  I’m old,  not dead :).  Our mailbox is tilting again.
It looks like the snowplows have pushed it over slightly,  but
ours along with the other two on the pole are still in a sort
of upright slanted position LOL.  I had to go around to the
back of the house and chisel the ice off of the screen door
in back so I could open it.  The snow had it pinned and ice
had formed on the bottom of it.  That was fun LOL.  The
snow was up to my waste and a few places deeper and
there’s not much blowing snow back there.  It’s mostly
what fell from the sky LOL.  The wind is blowing rather
briskly.  Wind speeds from 15 to 20 mile an hour with
35 miles an hour gust.  Not too bad,  but when the snow
is blowing in the wind it makes it hard to see and even
at times stings a tad when it hits ya LOL.  The boys are
now in here lying in their beds.  Benny wanted to go out,
but after watching him go down the steps and look up
at me,  I found that he wanted me to come outside with
him.  I had my house shoes on and robe,  but went down
the steps as far as I could before I began sinking and
getting snow in my shoes LOL,  then Benny went for
a walk in the little path I made to go around to the back.
I told him don’t go too far,  because even with my trail
it will be too deep for you and he turned around and
headed back.  I could almost swear that those lil boys
understand me.  I guess it could be that I am an animal
of sorts hehehe grrrrreat.  Judy and I managed to get
most of our shopping done before the snows began :).
So we’re just hanging around the house enjoying the
view.  We went outside Friday and played with the boys
and got a lot of great pictures of us and the boys.  They
totally enjoyed us being outside with them.  Though
the time was short,  we had fun taking pictures and
all.  Wintertime snowflakes are a wonderful sight,  but
even they can wear out their welcome hehehe.  Yet
for now,  they are blissful at least to us hehehehehe.
We’re thankful that our landlord sends a dude to plow
our driveway so we can get out,  but it looks like he’s
a little late coming today.  No problem,  we haven’t
got anywhere to be today.  We though after I finish
are planning on going out with the boys to take some
pictures and play with them.  There’s not much else
going on around the Pearce’s Place.  Judy and I have
started playing a picture game together on Facebook.
We look at 4 pictures and try to find the word that
is describing them in the letters provided hehehehe.
She’s better at it than I am.  For some reason words
in scrambled letters do not compute with me very
well LOL,  but we enjoy playing together.  I have
yet to of gotten back to my Farm Town.  We might
one day soon get back to our hidden object games,
but no hurry.  We just try and enjoy our timeframes
together as each day comes our way.  Life is too
short to let the little turmoil’s to steal our happiness.
The things we enjoy together are the things that
we let shine brightly.  Looking for the negativity
will only bring you sadness.  God lives with us as
we welcome each new day with peace and love
in our hearts.  Let God live with you as you head
out on your journey of life no matter sleeping or
wide awake.  Find the joy in a single breath of
existence as chances are formed before your eyes.
Take God with you everywhere you go and then
no matter what happens,  it will all work out for
the better.  Now,  I guess it’s time for me to begin
my little journey back through all that I’ve written
here to see if I can find a decent word or phrase
that I can use for the title for today’s brand new
poem.  So it’s away I go to that little place of my
recollection that I like to call RECOLLECT
VILLE.  I think I found a good title that I haven’t
already used.  Now let’s see what I can do with it.
Here goes!

Journey of Life

Found in a snowflake
are pathways to see
a journey of life found
in a white colored sea.
Snow mounds created
as peaceful is found
is a journey of life on
a white colored ground.
Scenes in the distance
of times black and white
a journey of life shows
a wonderful sight.
Painted as blessings
from Lord God above
the journey of life is
filled full of love.
Let not the problems
that hardship transpires
to put out your passion
of love trodden fires.
Look now and see all
the journeys of life
that God has given
to lesson your strife.

I hope that poem made sense to you hehehe.  If it didn’t
make sense to ya,  so sorry hehehe.  It’s still snowing and
it looks pretty.  I have the curtain pulled so we can see it.
Also I have the glass in the screen door so we can leave
the door opened and see out without letting the cold air
in LOL.  It lets some light in the house and for some odd
reason makes it more peaceful.  Anyways,  Judy is playing
that picture word game on her PC now and I am anxious
to finish writing here so I can join her :).  I guess I need
to stop here before I get into rambling mode again LOL,
so I reckon it’s time for me to tell you what I tell you
almost every week and that is, I wrote some more poems
and haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more poems with 1 being sort
of Christmassy and 22 haiku for all of my haiku lovers
out there.  I hope you like one or two of either or both.
Now I believe it’s about time for me to begin searching
for that not so elusive off switch :),  but not before I
wish you a most wonderful God filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  Now,  where’s that silly
off switch hiding this time?  OK,  now you might wanna
hone up on your hiding skills,  because trying to make
like a snowflake in the window won’t work.  First off,
your on the inside and secondly you’re not snow LOL.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehe 🙂

A Single Flake

As snowflakes fall
the ground turns white
creating such
a wonderful sight.
A single flake
lands with some more
to paint a sight
that I adore.
Landing softly
upon the ground
a single flake
finds many found.
The scenery
becomes intense
as it buries
a distant fence.
All that’s seen then
far and wide
are the snowflakes
more applied.
As snowflakes fall
from day to night
the scenes become
a wonderful sight.

True To See

The things we do
and say each day
will often be
our times display.
For unbeknownst
to you right then
your true to see
might be of sin.
Let not sinning
be all you do.
Try to be the
best of you.
True to see
in days gone by
and not living
just a lie.
So many things
we do and say
make or break
another day.

The Stars Above

The painted skies
of dark of night
are often seen
with stars of light.
The stars above
are often found
with the night times
certain sound.
Moments echoed
here and there
the stars above
will give them flair.
Along with moonlights
glitter glow
the stars above
will twinkle so.
The nights surmise
of certain gaze
the stars above
are just a phase.
For as the night of
thereunto
the stars above
give me a view.

Wintertime’s Bliss

With many turnstiles
that open and close
spring turns to winter
through times that expose.
Summertime’s heatwave
is found with much sweat
remembering winters
that they can’t forget.
The wintertime’s bliss
is in a heartbeat
as that of rhythms
where seasons repeat.
With every journey
some echoes are found
remembering snowflakes
all over the ground.
Windows are found with
a white snowy kiss
within the turnstile of
wintertime’s bliss.

Beyond November

In Novembers headlights
are Decembers views
often found with some
white snowy shoes.
Decembers snowflakes
all fall fancy free
while giving essence of
Christmas to see.
Beyond November
are scenes found displayed
found in December
of snowmen kids made.
Christmas is glittered
with bright shiny lights
then found enhancing
the darkest of nights.
Beyond November
are flavors to find
as that of snowflakes
within Christmastime.
Scenes we remember
with greatest detail
beyond November
with snowflakes set sail.

Morning’s Snowflake

Soon through nighttime
day will come
with the sight of
morning’s sun.
Mornings snowflake
may deny
morning’s sunshine
in the sky.
For the clouds might
hide from view
morning’s sunshine
thereunto.
Morning’s snowflake
will still be
greatest sight to
surely see.
Painted with a
whitish haze
morning’s snowflake
then displays.
Landing softly
on the ground
giving sights that
can be found.
So if snowflakes
fall on you
look to see
the greatest view.

Sometime Might Be

Windows doorways
opened wide
might let sadness
come inside.
Sometime might be
not so great
windows doorways
out of date.
Lessons riddled
with what’s said
from the past days
riverbed.
Seasons journeys
river flows
might lead to some
bitter lows.
Sometime might be
best to see
when it’s best for
you and me.
Let not hurry
drive insane
wanted through the
windowpane.
Sometime might be
waiting true
for the best for
you to do.

Imperfect Perfect

Seeking perfection
through wanting not wise
can display problems of
imperfect skies.
Perfect is God’s way
for He wants the best,
but imperfect perfect
so many detest.
Thinking perfection
is needed acquired
when you are perfect
as God had aspired.
Imperfect perfect
comes from deep within
as you are always
just wanting to win.
Not being happy
with best you can be
the imperfect perfect
can wear a degree.
Learn to be happy
with how God made you
as imperfect perfect
the greatest to view.

Light Waves

Across the skyline
I can see
light waves shining
fancy free.
Even clouds of
fluffy white
can’t hide light waves
from my sight.
Picture paintings
found with light
are the things that
I delight.
Clouds united
far and wide
light waves show
a wondrous ride.
Floating across
the sky of blue
the light waves then
display their hue.
Designs fractal
surely seen
light waves might be
bluish green.
With the portions
in day light,
light waves are then
seen at night.

Our Porch Light

When in snowstorms
lost from sight
I seek truly
our porch light.
For that little
light I find
helps my footsteps
time to time.
Our light glimmers
in the snow
and often shows
the way to go.
So if snowstorms
lose you to
look to Jesus
light so true.
He’s our porch light
every day
guiding footsteps
in His way.
Sometimes wanting
will lose way
of His porch light
day to day.
Yet our porch light
shines real bright
with God’s love
and Jesus Light.

Haiku
for Feb 15,  2014

The reach of an arm
does not show ability
but only it’s length.

With but just a breath
a life can become better
if that breath is true.

Allowing sadness
to become your existence
will push ones away.

Walking down dark roads
can awaken many fears
if you allow them.

Minutes will tick on
leaving want in the sidelines
if you just sit there.

Leaving your footprints
will show others where you’ve been,
so watch where you walk.

A nights snowy walk
might hear the sounds of the wind
as blows through the trees.

Life is a journey
that many take for granted
not seeing the good.

Playing a fools game
will end with many regrets
as time is revealed.

Lessons as snowflakes
will gather as time permits
with either good or bad.

Too many people
leave better choices at home
and start a fire.

Rivals of many
can often be united
with one common bond.

Sounds of surrender
will often be found as weak,
but show true courage.

An icicle hangs
while it becomes much longer
through the time of drips.

Looking back too much
could cause you to lose today,
for yesterday’s gone.

Life is a blessing
that often becomes nightmares
due to bad choices.

As we watch each day
we might see a few moments
that seem to echo.

Pulling a wagon
filled with all of your troubles
can be less with God.

Chances for pages
to become a true story
needs a true reader.

Dreaming mysteries
leaves the mind opened to change
of nows perception.

Ones belief in God
can be the greatest reward
if with love and trust.

Harboring sadness
can make every day the same
with no chance for smiles.
