A Short Period

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

So has spring sprung up in your part of the world :)? It seems to
be taking shape in ours as mud LOL. Yeppers, all that snow has
melted and now leaves us a little pond in our yard along with a lot
of mud LOL. It did snow early Friday morning, yet it was a little
too warm for it to stick. Judy drove to work in it when the snow
was coming down in big flakes. Yet, the roads were clear so that
was not so bad. It’s supposed to get up to 52 F today and stay in
the fifties all week long except at night of course LOL which will
often be in the 20’s and 30’s. Judy just got home and brought me
a hamburger and fries and her a chef salad, so I think I will take
a pause and eat hehehe. Ok, so I didn’t finish my fries hehe. I’m
full, yet I won’t be soon as I must take a dash to the bathroom or
latrine or john hehehe or whatever ya call it LOL….I’ll be back!
Back :). That’s the problem with having no colon and only 2/3’s
or my small intestines with no colostomy bag LOL. Food just zips
right through without a colon to absorb some of the fluids back
into my system. Oh well hehehe, been dealing with it for 15 years
now and I assume it won’t get better LOL as so my doctors have
told me. It will get worse and is daily! That’s my life in a nut
shell hehehe. I call the bathroom my office or thinking room :),
being I spend so much time in there hahaha. Wish they had of
had the knowledge about ulcerative colitis and crohn’s back then
that they have now. Maybe I would not be going through all of
these problems LOL. It took my dads life in 2001. Now people
have a better chance of surviving due to the new knowledge and
for that I am glad, for I wish this on no one. It’s a miserable life
not being able to sleep with 24 – 7 diarrhea and causing my dear
old hemorrhoids to stay inflamed. Nothing I nor anybody else
can do about it being meds don’t work so I eat tons of peanut
butter LOL. OK, maybe not tons, but a lot more than most
of you would ever think of consuming LOL. It puts a little bit
of potassium back into my system, but anything else tablets or
liquid potassium causes me diarrhea and makes my troubles to
be much worse being my potassium level is always at a very
low level. Most doctors wonder how I am alive because as low
as it is on a day to day basis, I should be dead. They tried
to pump it into me intravenously when I was in Dallas at the
Medical City Hospital, but could only even then get it up to
barely 70 percent of what it should be. Now on a daily basis
it stays at about 30 and 40 percent, which I was told by the
best doctors 50 percent was deadly. So, God is keeping
me alive for some reason huh LOL. Maybe so I can share
the bits and pieces of knowledge that I’ve gathered through
my rocky lifetime. Most of it comes out in my poetry and
my haikus. Hehehe you would not believe how many people
don’t know what haikus are! It’s an epigrammatic Japanese
verse form of three short lines 5 syllables first line 7 syllables
the second line and five in the last. The word epigrammatic
means terse (Brief and to the point; effectively cut short) and
witty. So you have learned something new today hehehehehe.
I thought it time to move onto another topic other than my
ailments LOL. Today it is a bit cloudy and is now 51 degrees.
That’s Fahrenheit not Centigrade/Celsius. Hehehehehehe
51 Celsius would be 123.8 degrees Fahrenheit or around
there somewhere LOL. 0 Celsius is 32 Fahrenheit which is
freezing. Yes I am a thinker. Did you know that both the
Celsius and Fahrenheit become the same number at minus
40 degrees? Hehehe it seems that with being disabled and
stuck at home most of the time, I have tons of time to think.
I have a lot of useless knowledge so to say LOL. Yet I also
have a lot of useful knowledge that I have gained through my
lifetime of struggles. That of which I share through poetry
and haikus. God’s giving me the chance to warn others of
what can happen if you lose track of Him and let your life
roll down a rocky course. I’ve seen and done some things
that I wish to never ever see or do again. They were hard
lessons, but they stuck. God knew I would be a tough
learner so He allowed me to go through what I needed to
go through to give me the knowledge that I have today.
Many times we will find ourselves wondering why God
let someone to die or let troubles to occur, but the fact
is, that there is a gain to be made from it all. Sometimes
sickness and death is the only thing that will bring ones
together. Otherwise we just focus on ourselves and our
own part of life. My sickness brought me and my daddy
closer together as he came down with the same illness.
We took that time to get to actually know one another as
we had never known. We became more than just father
and son, but good friends. We talked together the last
couple of years just as we were long time pals. He told
me some of the shenanigans that he did and went through
while growing up that I doubt mom even knew about :).
He became my dad, brother and friend in those last few
years. God is good. I’m grateful that He gave us the
chance to patch up some of the holes in our lives that
were empty due to my many years of being lost in the
world of Hell. My dad was always doing his best to
make our lives better. He knew my love for music and
drumming and so when I bought my first drum set, he
went to all of the record stores and would ask for the
albums that had some good drumming that I could learn
off of. Hehehe he even came home with Iron Butterfly’s
song Inagaddadavida which was about a 20 minute drum
solo hehehe. I learned it and then Wipe Out and then I
bonded the two together and made my own drum solo.
Yet today, due to my messed up joints and arthritis, I
can only play my conga drums. For a limited time of
course hehehe. I can ignore the pain for a short period
of time. I learned through martial arts how to use my
meditation and put the pain aside for a brief, but that
even at times gets too hard to do. I will though continue
to play the drums as long as I am able. I tried to do a
little video last week, but my potassium level was way
too low and you can tell it in the videos. I will try yet
another maybe this week if my health holds up hehe.
So now that I have given you a long winded journey
through my mind, I reckon it’s time for me to begin
my journey back through all I’ve written to that place
of recollection so to find a good word or phrase that
I can use for the title for today’s brand new poem.
So, it’s away I go to that place that I like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE. I believe I found a good title,
now let’s see what I can do with it if anything LOL.

A Short Period

In an moment
time might show
a short period
that we know.
Timeless fragments
done and said
might just stick
inside your head.
A short period
that’s gone by
might be lessons
how to fly.
Things we see
and things we do
might not seem
all clear to you.
Yet in minutes
moments phase
you might see
some clearer days.
That short period
seeming long
might of guided
right from wrong.

Well, did that make any sense to you at all? Hehehe, I never
really know sometimes if anybody gets what I am saying. The
meanings might get misinterpreted by other languages being the
English language uses a lot of words spelled the same yet with
different meanings used in different phrases or formats within
a sentence. Other languages have one word for one meaning
and only that word. That word does not mean anything else.
So you see why I wonder sometimes if many are understanding
clearly my views. Yet I shall continue writing and sharing as
long as I have a thought to share. I have found that many are
understanding more clearer each day my words. I am glad
for that. I guess it’s time for me to be telling you what I tell
you every week hehehe and that is I wrote some more poems
and haikus yesterday. 10 more poems and 22 more haikus.
I hope that at least a few of them speak to you with good
meanings. Also I’ve got a few more pictures to share of the
my neighbor flying his RC airplanes hehe. I’ll use them as
the stationary :). I know, a few of you that don’t receive the
stationary version have asked me to send you some of the
pictures and videos, but give me time LOL. I ain’t moving
at my top speed no more hehehehe or jejejeje in Spanish :).
It’s time for me to begin my search for that old off switch,
but before I do, I want to wish you a most wonderful week.
Remember, Jesus loves you and we do too. Now to find
that off switch. Hehehehe buried in my French fries hehe.
See ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems and haikus 🙂
10 and 22 hehehehe.

Guides Our Way

Timeless footsteps
made each day
make the plans
for will and way.
Sometimes footsteps
stumbled through
are much better
for me and you.
Sometimes footsteps
timeless seen
might one day
explain what they mean.
Seen as echoes
ones might see
many problems
in great degree,
yet those footsteps
made each day
may be what that
guides our way.

Too Much Anything

Too much anything
can for sure
make your efforts
as manure.
Without balance
in your days
time can turn to
bad displays.
Too much this way,
too much that
can become a
3 strike bat.
Left without a
balance found
you might find some
sinking ground.
Too much anything
in your stride
can let weakness
come inside.

Scenes of Time

Onwards walking
in your stride
might leave moments
tiresome ride.
Take a breather
from the phase
and enjoy
what God displays.
Take some time
to look around
seeing different
things abound.
Watch the clouds
just floating by
and then let
your mind to fly.
See a bird
that seems to soar
and then search
a little more.
Find a heartbeat
needing true
and then give
some love from you.
Onwards walking
we might miss
times of God’s
to reminisce.
Think of all the
good you’ve seen
and then make a
better dream.
Walk on smiling
at the view
that Lord God
has given you.
Time might seem
as a bitter pill,
yet sometimes
we need to feel.
Learning from the
scenes of time
so to see
the vast design.
See the smiles
that you can find
and then make them
as your mind.

A Great Compass

Wisdom of ages
gathers its wits
sometimes amidst of
many times fits.
Things concluded
might just be
what we daily
truly see,
yet sometimes
our wisdom grows
from what really
no one knows.
Wise is the manner
gained from the view
within the lessons
that God’s given you.
Yet if you ignore
all that you’ve seen
all of that wisdom
may just demean.
Use all the lessons
that God’s given you
as a great compass
to guide what you do.

Make It As Asked

Many will forget
all the actions displayed
attempting to block out
mistakes they’ve made.
Yet it’s a journal
written and said
that are imprinted
inside our head.
Many will attempt
to just walk away
and just act as
it’s another day.
Yet it’s a fact that
the things we do
somehow keep living
within me and you.
That’s when forgiveness
needs to be tasked
as you find Jesus
and make it as asked.

Seen As A Blog

Found on a page
with many words said
are many thoughts
inside of the head.
Many found typed up
and many written
words then recited
as many are smitten.
Often the meanings
may seem to fade
when others read
how ones are afraid.
Seen as a blog
meant as a journal
many find meanings
oh so external.
Found within text
of many a word
some might just seem
a wee bit absurd.

Give Yourself Time

Wondering moments
leave in their view
things that could happen
a little askew.
Wandering minutes
might leave in frame
things that might be
a little insane.
Wondering wandering
weathered by time
sometimes creates
what’s inside our mind.
Wondering segments
of momentums dance
could sometimes
put you in a trance.
Give yourself time
to see what’s at hand
and maybe see then
where truly you stand.

Who Where and Why

In but a fraction
the day turns to dark
leaving us minutes
of which to embark.
Seconds to minutes
and hours to days
leave us an ocean
of lifestyles of waves.
An similar fraction
may be not so
for it in essence
has its way to go.
Sometimes daytime
turns into night
leaving so many
just seeking for light.
Many might imagine
the things that they see
daylight through dark
in their history,
yet but the truth
some people will find
daylight to dark
might just change your mind.
You might be relieved
to find ones so true
that saw the same things
exactly like you.
In but a fraction
our thoughts can change
to all the truth
what we thought so strange.
Facts or fiction
or maybe a dream
sometimes our sights
are just what they seem.
Alone seen standing
ones stare at the sky
asking those questions
of who where and why.

Sometimes What’s Weird

Weird points of view
in weird sorts of ways
may fill up many
with many displays.
Many with anger
and many confused
whether they’re truthful
or just being used.
Some see differently
things done and said
and then acknowledge
inside of their head.
Then they paint pictures
of weird points of views
all in accordance
to their pair of shoes.
Sometimes what’s weird
might not be at all.
It might just be how
ones see spring and fall.

Pictures Are Displayed

Pictures in the sky
are painted so swift
as but a moment
of a Heavenly gift.
Some watch the sunrise
with passionate views
and others see it
as sight misconstrues.
Some watch the sunset
as night comes to be
finding the blessings
that God gave for free.
Days are accounted
with many a mind,
some seeking goodness
and some not so fine.
Pictures are displayed
and just fade away
as many don’t see
a beautiful day.
Days that we’ve smiled,
and laughed with joy
many will only
see times that annoy.

Haiku
for Apr 10, 2010

Time is a drumbeat
many hear differently
as unique drummers.

Words are the value
of all our understanding.
Some are misconceived.

Great is a meaning
that many see totally
in the wrong movements.

Time’s an expedition
made of seconds and minutes
bringing conclusions.

Standing in doorways
might confuse all your viewpoints.
Stand back and look clear.

Anticipating
makes ones impatience to grow
sometimes not so true.

Pictures are tainted
when meanings are discounted
and not understood.

Poor sighted people
sometimes see only up close
therefore look closer.

Morning will display
even if you close your eyes.
Open up your eyes.

Anchors in timeframes
might prevent any goodness.
Let time go its way.

Possibilities
can be the greatest detail
if used correctly.

Ones interacting
might include but only thought
as they stand and watch.

Ill witted people
leave a bad taste in your mouth
and sometimes it stains.

Times portfolios
are conclusions we’ve come to
after someone’s facts.

Jungles of mishap
fill the streets up with anger.
Teach your children well.

Vanishing progress
comes from lack of remembrance.
History teaches.

Winter has vanished,
yet has left us its markings
with seasons of change.

Holding my hands out
I attempt to catch a breeze.
It slips through my grasp.

Searching tomorrow
means you’re not seeing today.
Tomorrow will come.

Tempting a problem
will leave you with much regret.
Know what that is wrong.

A breath full of wind
makes sounds so very alive.
You can hear each breath.

Owning a feeling
is a choice that we can choose.
We can choose to smile.
