Blowing Profusely

Hello my friends

It’s been a fairly nice passed week.  The
temperature has been staying slightly on
the cool side other than of course what we
had Thursday and it got up in mid 80’s F
then.  It’s 62 F right now at 2:44 PM. Not
too bad if I don’t say so myself LOL 🙂
We’ve had rain off and on almost every
other day,  but for the passed couple of
days it has been sunny.  It looks like we
won’t get any more rain until the end of
the week.  It’s supposed to be in the 50’s
and 60’s most of the week.  Wednesday
shows a high of 71 though LOL,  but that
isn’t too bad 🙂   Our grandson just went
home.  His mom brought him over Friday
and he spent the weekend with us.  We
always enjoy having him visit with us 🙂
So onwards with the journal.  Judy and
I took a trip to town Monday and bought
a few groceries and Judy stopped off at
her brothers bank to take care of some
business.  We got rained on there and to.
LOL we didn’t melt.  The grass has turned
green finally and the old dandelions have
begun their takeover of the field hehehe.
Judy went down south to Bangor with her
sisters Tuesday and while she was gone
I took my conga drums outside for a little
videoing.  The rains had ceased by then 🙂
I left the front door open so that the boys
could come out or go inside whichever
they wanted while I did a couple of videos.
The wind was blowing profusely.  There
are times when I was talking that you
could barely hear me over the wind LOL.
The videos came out pretty well none the
less.  Wednesday Judy and I took the boys
out for a little field trip.  We got some
much needed exercise and the boys had a
blast running and playing.  We took a lot
of pictures as we usually do hehehe.  It was
a beautiful day.  Though the black flies
were beginning to bug us.  Yep,  it’s time
for the bugs to start coming out of hiding.
Many of the pictures came out awesome.
Friday I decided to do a few selfies in the
dandelions and then a few scenic pictures.
Soon Judy and I will be taking a photo
drive to take some pictures of the scenery
around Maine.  We’ve already got a few
places that we are talking about driving to.
I can’t wait.  I love to ride around and
look for scenery to take pictures of 🙂
I am so glad that I no longer have to use
film cameras LOL.  I cannot count the
pictures that were lost due to either over
exposure,  under exposure,  forgetting
to take off the lens cap,  or the film being
messed up due to heat.  Plus I do not
miss only have maybe only 24 pictures
to take and then when I am changing out
the film,  a photo opt comes and no can
do.  Yep,  I love my digital camera.  It is
rare that I run out of space on my camera
card LOL,  BUT,  I have once or twice 🙂
Most times it was due to me doing a lot
of videos along with pictures.  So what
else is going here at the Pearce’s Place?
Good question.  The only answer I have
is I’ve been busy writing more poetry
pictures and Judy has been busy with
her painting and crafts.  I’m halfway
done with all of the poetry pictures that
I need for book number 4 🙂  Yep,  it’s
looking like I might get them all written
by next month and then if all goes well,
get it published.  Our other three books
are still not selling well.  We’re hoping
that they start one day soon.  Also Judy’s
books are not selling well.  We’re still
hoping and praying that they one day
or another begin to start selling.  Until
then,  we’ll just keep on keeping on
doing what we love to do and that is
write,  paint and take pictures 🙂  Yep,
life goes on.  Judy’s fixing us dinner
right now.  Actually it’s leftovers from
last night,  (Spaghetti).  Judy made it
for us yesterday and it tasted great then.
It seems to always taste better when
it is reheated for some reason hehehe.
There’s not much else to yammer about.
The boys are as ornery as ever and they
keep us on our toes.  God is still with
His Mighty Hands watching over us
and protecting us as He sends many
angels to look after us in our daily
lives.  LOL,  Rocky just ran in here
just a huffing and puffing and now he’s
sitting right behind me on the legs of
my chair.  He just got up and ran out
of the room again,  I’m thinking, looking
for Benny LOL.  Benny’s more than
likely lying on his favorite recliner 🙂
They do keep us busy.  We thank God
for their little paw prints in our home.
So,  I reckon it’s time for me to begin
my travels back through all that I have
written here to see if I can find a good
word or phrase that I can use for the
title for today’s brand new poem,  So
it’s away I go,  to that little place of
my recollection that I always like to
call RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I
may have found a good title just about
2/3rds back in my writing and it looks
like I have not used it yet,  so here goes.

Blowing Profusely

Minutes partaken
are moments in time
sometimes a windstorm
a season we find.
Blowing profusely
the timetables scream
lifetimes remembered
a fast rushing stream.
Seen as a pothole
a view comes to be
blowing profusely
the things that we see.
Life needs a breather
to then settle down
less of the blowing
firm feet on the ground.
Found as a passage
we might be dismayed
blowing profusely
the messes we made.
Life has a doorway
to leave or go through
to find better lifestyles
that fit within you.
Blowing profusely
can become as a war
so take a little breath,
and be better by far.
Let God to help you
to find peace of mind
without all the blowing
of your time to time.

There ya go.  Yes I know,  it might be a
little confusing,  but it does make sense.
🙂 I guess I’ve got a weird way of putting
things.  Oh well, if you didn’t understand
it,  then,  sorry hehehe.  Well,  both of the
boys are in here now.  They’re lying in the
floor right between Judy and I.  LOL they
were wanting some of her spaghetti,  but
none from me LOL.  I ate all of mine.  She
gave them a couple of her meatballs LOL.
I’ve been chatting with a friend while I’ve
been trying to write this which has slowed
me down a tad.  It’s almost 8 PM now 🙂
The temperature has dropped a few degrees
too.  It’s 59 F degrees now.  There doesn’t
seem to be anything good to watch on TV
tonight other than maybe Family Feud 🙂
So,  I might do some picture poems after
I get  done here.  I can’t think of anything
else to tell you other than what I tell you
almost every week and that is,  I wrote
some more poems and haiku.  Yeppers,
10 more poems with an added 2, which
ups the count to 12 and 1 of the poems
is a Christmas poem.  I also wrote once
again 22 haiku for all of the haiku lovers
out there.  I hope you can find 1 or 2 of
either or both that you like.  Now it’s time
for me to begin my search for that hardly
elusive off switch,  but not before I wish
you a most wonderful blessings filled week.
Remember,  Jesus loves you and we do
too.  Now,  where can that ornery off
switch be hiding this week?  LOL hiding
is putting it loosely.  Anyways,  hmm,  I
think I see movement from behind my
external hard drive which isn’t really that
hard being it is almost flat LOL.  You
would think you could find a better place
to hide wouldn’t ya 🙂  Nope,  didn’t think
so LOL.  Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

A Day Of Spring

As life begins
from winter’s grasp
a day of spring
begins its task.
With trees to show
their leaves display
with budding life
of day to day.
The hours pass
with more to see
as spring unlocks
with seasons key.
Within my gaze
I see some clouds
a day of spring
as seasons shrouds.
They seem to form
a sweet design
with life to bring
the sights to dine.
The grasses grow
to make a scene
life of beauty
a day of spring.

As Summer Ends

Life of summer
gives its best
then by Autumn
seeks to rest.
Leaves of green
will soon display
colors changing
in a way.
Brown to yellow
change the scenes
with some other
colored schemes.
With dear autumn
around the bend
change begins
as summer ends.

Bridge Of Summer

Life as a mirror
reflects such a scene
a time that is clearer
than that of a dream.
It lives as emotions
with people displayed
time unto time
as lifestyles are made.
A bridge of summer
that is found explored
as many will walk
harmonious accord.
Some looking down
to the waters that flow
and reflect for a time
on their shadows below.
The bridge of summer
gives forth many things
as sights come to life
as some daily routines.
Some stand and watch
all the water up under
while they’re atop of
the bridge of summer.

Coral Sky

Morning brings colors
of sunshine intense
scenes in the clouds
as minutes commence.
Reflections of sunlight
with colorful hues
some seeming pinkish,
some hazy blues.
Yet as a painting
of God’s own desire
the sky turns to coral
as a magical fire.
The minutes recorded
within what we see
become as a memoir
of our history.
For we will remember
the clouds way up high
as mornings of then
a great coral sky.

As Time Bestows

A field of green
and sky of blue
displays a scene
a time come true.
With just a gaze
of moments sight
the time bestows
some clouds in flight.
One stands to see
the moments trail
with clouds of white
in seasons sail.
With just a glance
of times displays
there’s many signs
of summer’s days.
Within a field
a moment grows,
so many sights
as time bestows.

The Light Of Day

A seasoned time
of waves that roll
begins to find
the oceans goal.
The light of day
becomes a feat
a scenic day
in summer’s heat.
With every wave
on oceans mind
the stage is set
with its design.
A summer’s day
that none compare
becomes alive
as seasoned air.
A shiny glimmer
of times display
shows the sight
the light of day.

Through The Clouds

While clouds of day
hid the sun from sight
there were some times
I’d see its light.
A little bit hazy,
but shining through
the sun so bright
displayed its view.
Through the clouds
it gave me a gaze
a scene to see
of winters days.
It burned so bright,
but seemed so dim,
the sun still shined
within its whim.
This I remember
as winter’s shrouds
scenes I could see
on through the clouds.

Ready For Christmas

A snowy white day
brings forth a scene,
a sight in my mind,
a wonderful dream.
The seasons sunshine
is as a bright beacon
shining my hopeful
that will never weaken.
The  time is a page
of a wintertime book
ready for Christmas
a seasonal look.
A time when hearts
are beating with passion
that joyful memoir
a little old fashioned.
I’m ready for Christmas
and all of its glory
as I wait here today
to hear that great story.
The story of Christmas
as magic to my ears
displays all the blessings
that I hold so dear.
The songs of Christmas
and seasons white snow
I yearn to hear now
on the old radio.
I’m ready for Christmas
with heart beating fast
while I’m dreaming
of it’s wonderful past.

Summer’s Flowers

Home sweet home
the flowers grow
brightest yellow
as they flow.
Like a river
in my view
summer’s flowers
brightest hue.
Lost perceptions
show the hours
timeless views of
summer’s flowers.
come in strong
with their artwork
like a song.
Strumming fiddles
like time’s violin
they in springtime
do begin.
Sung as seasons
poured as seas
summer’s flowers
are just weeds.

Like The Wind

Our two dogs
they have much fun
in the field with
summer’s sun.
They don’t worry,
they just play
loving brothers
day to day.
In the field
they search around
for some moments
to be found.
With their noses
in the air,
they head on
without a care.
They are truly
mans best friend
as they’re running
like the wind.

The Sound Of Music

With just a rhythm
and words added on
the sound of music
is a remembered song.
Songs of a decade
that ones do conceive
become as the pattern
as songster’s perceive.
The songs on the radio
of time frames in tune
become as the passage
as a hot air balloon.
Floating in the skies
with songs that we sing,
summer to autumn,
and winter to spring.
A musical blessing
with a lifelong heartbeat
is the sound of music
for ones dancing feet.

Leaves Of Autumn

Years of time
become a sight
passing scenes
of days sunlight.
Found so often
colors scene
orange to yellow
shades of green.
Leaves of autumn
bring their style
giving many
a moment’s smile.
All the colors
are combined
filling up a
dreamers mind.
Scenes of grandeur
come here often
stages set for
leaves of autumn.

Ages will billow
as clouds found high in the skies
just passing us by.

When beside yourself
look within your reflection
and then choose your stride.

Without a doorway
use the windows of your mind
to see what is true.

Inside of a cloud
holds many true perspectives
that can change at will.

Beyond our insights
lives a variety of thoughts
that might live and breathe.

The shadows of fall
are as colorful moments
that we remember.

A lesson not learned
is doomed to be repeated
till something happens.

Time on a journey
is a passageway through life
filled with surprises.

A flower’s conceived
and then perceived as beauty
to fill up our eyes.

Grasses of summer
become filled with many weeds
if they’re not cared for.

One without thinking
can become as dynamite
waiting to explode.

Two’s just a number
that means nothing without trust,
for then it is one.

Losing direction
can find a new direction
through trial and error.

Life in a moment
can become spectacular
if you allow it.

Our sought after dreams
are often but only dreams
that cannot be true.

Dispelling sorrow
needs acceptance of moments
to then find some peace.

The troubles of life
are the teachers with lessons
building perspective.

A rose is a rose
as a person’s a person
no matter the life.

Disfigured pleasures
can turn into a sideshow
for others to watch.

When blowing bubbles
some of them might blow away
and others will pop.

The mind of a man
is often put with others
in comparison.

When the sun is seen
it gives hope for a new day
no matter the view.
