In The Mood

Hello my friends

I hope you have been doing well.  We’ve
been enjoying the nice weather.  It looks
as though we will have a slightly cool day
today with a high of 48,  but most of the
week will be in the 50’s and 60’s.  No snow
yet.  I’m in no hurry,  but it would be nice
if we had snow for Christmas Day as we do
every year.  I know there is a chance that
it could be none white,  but I’m crossing
my fingers 🙂  Right now it’s 44 F degrees
at 1 PM.  It’s supposed to be a high of 61
Monday.  Judy and I had a great time on
her birthday Friday Nov 6th.  We went up
to Caribou Maine to get her drivers license
renewed and then we went to the Governor’s
restaurant for her birthday dinner,  then we
stopped at Walmart on the way home and
got her a small ice cream cake :).   Yeppers
I took pictures the whole trip and we did
a selfie at the Governor’s Restaurant LOL.
So,  I will have a lot of new pictures for my
email stationery.  I even did a few selfies
today LOL.  I don’t normally do selfies
that much,  but I was in the mood hehehe.
I’ll be happy to see less political ads on TV
and Facebook.  I’m so glad the election is
over with.  I know many have different views
so I’ll not get into mine.  There are far too
many friendships destroyed by opinions on
politics and religion,  so I try to stay away
from those topics.  Thankfully Judy and I
have the same beliefs as well as many other
things.  So,  what else has gone on around
this place?  Well,  to be honest,  It’s been
fairly quiet around here.  I bought Judy an
all in one Laserjet printer and it should be
here this week sometime.  I hope she likes
it.  It’s the one she picked out.  It’s a color
printer.  Mine’s just plain old monochrome.
I only use it for printing documents and
such.  Her inkjet printer that she got at a
black Friday sale a while back has never
worked well and now it has ceased working
at all even after her buying new ink for it.
So I think she’ll like the laserjet,  being the
ink doesn’t dry out like on an inkjet printer.
The ink is already dry LOL.  It will last till
you run out and then just buy a new toner
cartridge.  So,  next week,  if all goes well,
I’ll let ya know how she likes it 🙂  I’m pretty
sure she’ll love it,  but there’s always that
chance that she might not LOL.  It looks
as though we’re just about done with our
Christmas shopping 🙂  We begin shopping
early in the year every year around January.
LOL yea,  I know that’s a little early,  but
at least we haven’t got to cram it all into
a couple of months,  not that we buy for
many,  but still.  It gives us that time to be
on the look for what to get the kids and
grandkids as well as maybe a few others if
we’re able 🙂   God has been good to us as
we’ve rounded many corners in life.  He’s
protected us and sent many angels to watch
over us and guide us.  Thank You God for
all that You do and all that we know that
You will do.  AMEN.  Now I do believe it’s
time for me to be reading back over all that
I’ve written here to see if I can find a good
word or phrase that I can use for the title
for today’s brand new poem.  So,  it’s away
I go,  to that place of my recollection that
I always like call RECOLLECT VILLE.
I think I found a fairly decent title that
might be workable LOL and it looks as
though I haven’t used it yet,  which is no
surprise hehehe.   So here goes…

In The Mood

Time is a number
that so many lose
choice of direction
in all they infuse.
Scenes come to life
as a page of desires
some to only burn
as arrogant fires.
Yet many moments
can be good to see
as we learn patience
from our history.
For rushing too fast
into what we want
time can unleash
a lifetime to haunt.
So use your choices
as a life of food
and not but only
when in the mood.

Well,  I know it ain’t that good, but it’s what
came to me.  I hope you liked the poem and
maybe even a bit of my rambling.  Judy just
got up and strolled in.  There’s not much else
to tell you.  Of course continue your prayers
for my friends Sara and Sandy.  Other than
that I guess all I have to tell you is what I tell
you every week and that is :),  I wrote some
more poems and haiku.  Yep, 10 more poems
with 1 Christmas poem in the mix and I also
wrote 22 more haiku for all the haiku lovers
out there.  I hope you find 1 or 2 of either
or both that you like.  Now I do believe it’s
time for me to begin my search for that old
hardly elusive off switch,  but not before I
wish you a blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  Now,  where
can that ornery off switch be trying to hide
this time.  LOL like it ever actually hides 🙂
I think it wants me to find it hehehe and as
I look around the room,  it seems that it
has not changed much.  I see ya peeking
from behind my Potassium tablets LOL.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky

After The Storm

With many styles
of views to see
a storm may come
in some degree.
It may just begin
as a passing day
that forms as time
from blue to grey.
Yet as the clouds
of dusk to dawn
are said and done
they continue on.
Within your view
you might find
a cloud with choice
for another time.
Becoming as life
of time reborn
as peaceful essence
after the storm.

Paint Tomorrow

Moments we pass
may be just a glance
a song yet to sing
of a living romance.
Time is as artwork
created for us to see
formed as blessings
seen through history.
We might pass by
a place of memories
as we move ahead
in the futures breeze.
It may seem a blur
when you pass it by
creating perspective
that may seem to fly.
Using a memory
make your life flow
learn from the past
and paint tomorrow.

Splashing Through

Seasons will come
and seasons will go
as time moves on
within to and fro.
Beginnings will end
with changes made
seen in perspective
as life’s lemonade.
Enjoy the waters
of a splashing array
as you go onwards
from day unto day.
Locate the joyful
times and places
splashing through
that time enlaces.
Open up your eyes
and see the views
heavenly blessings
that times infuse.
Find the moments
God gave to you
within the scenes
splashing through.

Sight of Silence

Time is artwork
painting each day
creating its style
in a magical way.
Living pictures
will come to pass
leaving shadows
moments to cast.
Allow the times
that come in view
to become alive
in all that’s true.
Create paintings
that time displays
ones that of love
of heavenly ways.
Let the artwork
of life commence
creating scenes
sight of silence.

Winters of Yore

Stages of winter
fall into place
leaving memories
times to embrace.
Time comes alive
as a snowy grin
winters of yore
a scenic friend.
It might be only
a little red barn
seen as a moment
of a story or yarn.
Told perspectives
of Christmastime
life remembered
as a poetic rhyme.
Many memories
are in pictures
as timeless arrays
of many mixtures.
Let yourself go
to find the views
scenes of things
that times infuse.
Christmas snow
creates a stage
to become a view
that’s age to age.
Time then begins
to display more
winters of yore.

Cruising Speed

Waters of choices
each day begins
flowing bestowing
as time transcends.
Yet as a speed boat
so many fly passed
cruising choosing
just a bit too fast.
Time may become
essence of style
formed from life
as the ages compile.
Then becomes now
as a passing sight
cruising choosing
as wrong and right.
Life might display
a second or two
moving so quickly
that it evades view.
Then for a moment
you might perceive
cruising choosing
a web times weave.
So, take the time
to enjoy the day
flowing bestowing
in a timeless array.
Search for beauty
when you proceed
as you slow down
to cruising speed.

River To Spring

Trials of winter
become a flow
rivers begun as
melting snow.
Time’s ice water
flowing so free
a river to spring
and sight to see.
Forming dreams
within our view
moments melting
from thereunto.
Life’s a doorway
with time inside
opening windows
to a scenic ride.
 Find the ripples
seconds bring
as after winter
river to spring.

Peace Comes Through

Finding a moment
that fills up the void
can often be hard
as a time is devoid.
Let your heartbeat
to find the rhythm
synching Heaven
for peace to enter in.
Open up your eyes
and find the prayers
living within you
for Lord God cares.
Peace is a moment
that awakens inside
if you seek Jesus,
not a Hell bent ride.
Look at the scenes
that life gives to you
and find blessings
in a wondrous view.
Heavenly scenery
can unleash a smile
as a living peace
with a magical style.
Let God guide you
unto now and again
as you seek peace
from lessons of sin.
So many windows
are a clouded view,
but with God’s help
peace comes through.

This Special Day
(Judy’s birthday poem)

We were connected
many years ago
within life’s path
that we now know.
Brought from miles
connected in ways
with ages upon ages
our eyes now gaze.
Moments passed by
becoming as years
as this special day
most surely adheres.
Binding us together
as blissful dreams
we walk on together
in seasons streams.
Now is yet another
wondrous display
you and I together
on this special day.

Dreams Become

Moonlight sonatas
composed in the sky
become the scenes
as the clouds fly by.
Creating pictures
within our dreams
as artwork of life
with heavenly scenes.
Becoming designs
that the sky exposes
painted as a dream
of cloudy sky roses.
Leaving us a sight
of heartbeats allure
as dreams become
a night sky to pour.
Light shifts view
as time’s filled heart
becoming so alive
and thrives as art.
Living for a time
illuminating desires
moonlight shines
a heartbeat of fires.
The sky’s as magic
with seconds to pass
bestowing scenes
that pass us so fast.
So many blessings
are second to none
as they continue
and dreams become.

Time is as magic
as it procures many things
within the seconds.

Tomorrow’s journey
begins with actions today,
so make them your best.

Scented as flowers
many only wear perfume
to hide the ugly.

The chances we have
might not come again in life,
so use them wisely.

Tips of the iceberg
might hold surprises within
that might just explode.

Leftover heartbeats
can become windows of life
filled full of regret.

Life’s bewilderments
can often have good reason
that we once ignored.

Doorways to new days
often swing like saloon doors
and hit from behind.

Challenging people
without knowing who they are
might end real badly.

Greeting a spirit
with a heart that’s full of love
you might find evil.

Many surprises
come in form of survival
and how we react.

Listening to fools
can create many problems
if you do not know.

Harboring anger
for a time that’s been long gone
can cause bad heartbeats.

Clinging to the past
you might miss out on today
and the good within.

Sheltered emotions
can become as dynamite
if they aren’t dealt with.

Silent passages
might sneak up and destroy us,
so pay attention.

Living for others
only guarantees you’ll fail
if they disappear.

Need is illusion
when want is the driving force
making the choices.

Meeting your shadows
you might discover your flaws
as they act them out.

Beyond perspective
many only see the lies
and not any truth.

Views from outer space
can overwhelm what we know
seen from here on Earth.

Within common sense
holds the facts and the knowledge
with some gut feelings.
