My Time

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

This might be a rather short journal
this week.  Not much to say even if I
searched my rambling brain hehehe.
It’s been a rather mundane week and
I took no pictures this passed week 🙂
Oh yea,  Judy’s printer came and she
loves it.  She printed some pictures
with it and they came out great and
the scanner works great too.  The old
printer might just hit the trash unless
we find someone that needs a scanner,
being that’s all that works on it.  We
had to move some stuff around by her
computer,  because the printer is a bit
larger than her old one.  Anyways,  I
may just use a few pictures from the
week before for this weeks stationery 🙂
Thursday,  we got a message from our
grandson (Christian) asking if it was
OK if he could come and stay with us
Friday night.  Of course we said sure.
He’s always welcomed just as the rest
of our grandkids are welcome.  When
his mom dropped him over here we
all went to town to do some shopping
at Walmart and get sub sandwiches at
Subway.  It snowed all the way there
and back,  but the ground was still
too warm and so the snow melted on
contact.  It’s supposed to snow and
rain Monday.  At this point it seems
that it cannot make up its mind what
to do LOL.  I’m sure though that by
December it will have finally found a
footing and the snow will be without
any rain,  or let’s just say it should by
then LOL.  I just checked and it looks
as though it’s supposed to snow in an
hour or so .  Back to Christian hehehe.
We had a great time watching gaming
videos on Youtube and enjoying some
of our TV programs.  He asked if he
could come back and we said that he
is always welcome.  I’ll be sad when
the day comes that he does not have
the time for us anymore,  but I’m sure
that day is coming.  He’s 19 and fixing
to go to Job Core.  I now know how
my grandmother and pawpaw felt when
I grew up and my time with them grew
less as I stayed busy.  Looking back,
I wish I hadn’t of allowed life to take
up so much of my time and I would’ve
spent more time with them.  I surely
miss them.  I also miss my mom and
dad.  Dad is in Heaven waiting for me,
but I can feel his presence time to time
as he watches over me.  I wish my mom
was closer,  but she lives near my sister
Peggy in a Dallas suburb in Texas.  We
talk often on the phone and I am glad
that I’m able to do that.  Maybe one
day Judy and I will make another trip
to Texas to see them.  Ya never know.
Anyways,   God is still watching over
us and doing what He knows best to
do.  I can feel many angels watching
over us,  helping us time to time as
well.  We most surely feel blessed for
all that we have as well as having each
other.  I believe it’s time now for me to
be looking back over all that I have
written here to see if I can find me a
good word or phrase that I can use
for the title for today’s brand new
poem and so it’s away I go,  to that
place of my recollection that I always
like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.
I think I found a decent title about
a 3rd of the way back in all of my
rambling 🙂 and now after checking,
I see that it has not been used yet,
so used it shall be.  Here goes…

My Time

Minutes counted
become dust
as some hurry
rushed to must.
Seeking moments
might inlay
time is passing
day to day.
For my time is
always there
counted surely
as the air.
Breath of time
will only flow
as its able
to and fro.
So try hard to
do your best
with the struggles
more or less.
For we may not
see the sign
now is yours or
with my time.

LOL there ya go.  I wrote that poem
quickly,  just jotting down what that
came to me in a matter of just about
2 minutes or less.  Many times if I do
not think too hard I can come up with
not so serious poems,  but it’s when I
feel the need to express an idea for a
picture or something that I take more
time writing,  being then I have to focus
on the length of the lines and the words
and phrases to use.  Anyways,  I hope
you liked the poem and hopefully my
rambling.  Please continue to pray for
my friends Sara and Sandy.   Sara was
admitted to the hospital again due to
double pneumonia.  She is out now,
but still in a bad way.  So now I need
to tell you what I tell you every week
and that is,  I wrote some more poems
and haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more poems
and 22 more haiku for all of the haiku
lovers out there.  I hope you can find
1 or 2 of either or both that you like.
Now,  I do believe it’s time for me to
be searching for that hardly elusive
off switch,  but not before I wish you
all a blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  Ok,
so where can that off switch be trying
to hide this time?    Hmm,  hid pretty
well this time hehehe.  LOL now that’s
a new one.  Tryimg to hide within my
camera’s viewing screen.  Problem is,
that the viewing screen is only an inch
and you are not LOL.  Nice try though.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

Autumn’s Passed

We may see trees
that are so bare
as time moves on
as a breath of air.
The only leaves
of which are seen
are that of styles
of an evergreen.
You may even see
the days to pass
painting autumn
with brown grass.
The passing life
is that of a style
as death displays
an autumn smile.
Created with color
that changes hues
scented of pages
as seconds infuse.
There with peace
might be a design
as little red barns
speak their mind.
Telling us a story
of a timeless face
living as dreams
filled with grace.
Just as Heaven
its shadow is cast
seasons blessings
autumn’s passed.

Yesterdays Sandcastles

Time is like a breath
that breathes its array
while we build castles
that may wash away.
Becoming as oceans
when time entwines
moments remembered
in sandcastle minds.
Look for the beauty
that then does expose
maybe of a moment
that lifetimes oppose.
Becoming as castles
that our eyes beseech
maybe a photograph
of a faraway beach.
Open up your heart
and let sandcastles in
to become memories
that times transcend.
They might become
as but only a dream,
but live within you
as a magical scene.
Built from moments
that came within view
seeming so timeless
as it lives on in you.
Living as emotions
of continued frames
yesterdays sandcastles
a lifetime attains.

A Bluish View

Cloudy thinking
of passing days
creates journeys
a bit out of phase.
Not seeing clearly
the points in time
as a bluish view
with cloudy mind.
God is watching
waiting to begin
showing the blue
as love enters in.
Removing clouds
of a distant place
and giving a sky
times to embrace.
Opening scenes
to show His love
as a bluish view
in clouds above.
For as they part
there’s life anew
the grace of God
in a bluish view.

Waves of Peace

Silence begins
as just a style
displaying life
within a smile.
Creating time
echoes of past
waves of peace
times contrast.
Listen closely
to every word
and hear times
a passing bird.
A time of day
becomes seen
waves of peace
within dream.
Let your eyes
to then release
as you dream
waves of peace.

Passionate Frames

Seasonal passages
might turn pages
creating doorways
to passing stages.
Forming moments
not visually clear
that may be times
of life’s yesteryear.
As autumn dreams
that come to pass
passionate frames
are shadows cast.
Search within you
and find a place
passionate frames
God’s saving grace.
The truth is there
that love attains
all the blessings
passionate frames.

Finding Hope

So often life
may seem a game
as times unwind
we wished refrain.
Yet as a doorbell
life says hello
ringing in daily
fast and slow.
Many times life
may seem to pass
poured as a style
a little too fast.
There are times
that may seem
as a nightmare,
nowhere a dream.
Ask God in prayer
to help you cope
if you’re in need
of finding hope.

The Trail Ends

Roads we travel
might be gone
as the seasons
move on and on.
Life’s a window
a doorway too
filled with trails
of old and new.
Time’s like paint
that creates style
within a journey
minutes compile.
Seeming as eyes
that look back
pathways vision
a scenic knack.
Time can create
better friends
trial and error
if the trail ends.

Dreams and Lullabies

A night comes alive
as darkness entwines
creating the pictures
in dreamers minds.
If you look upwards
deep into the night
you may see lullabies
with twinkling lights.
Some will tell tales
about dreamers gold
and lullabies of life
of young and old.
Creating a doorway
that we can look in
becoming as lullabies
times can transcend.
Search a night sky
to find you a dream
maybe of starlight
a magical scene.
Let it carry you off
to places unknown
dreams and lullabies
of nighttime’s home.
Then within dream
find Venus and Mars
as you seek peaceful
up among the stars.
Then as you awaken
and open your eyes
you will have known
dreams and lullabies.

Life’s Fixations

Just like shadows
time can become
moments echoes
found in the sun.
Fixated turnstiles,
fixated dreams,
sights we imagine
in many things.
Look for the view
and find the place
times that remind
of someone’s face.
Our life’s fixations
are on many sights,
things that we love
or so full of frights.
A old rusted barn
filled with dreams
might have a mind
of summer scenes.
It may remember
passed days views
with that of color
and magical hues.
It sees the shadow
of itself in design
fixated emotions
as places in time.
Time’s perspective
with alterations
scented shadows
of life’s fixations.

Summer’s Stage

Those memories
that come in view
of now and then
are still with you.
They’re as times
of living sights
seasons scenes
days and nights.
Living shadows
dance all around
with age to age,
sight and sound.
Creating a vision
of life’s desires
a field of style
as time aspires.
You may dream
the turn of a page
as a field within
a summer’s stage.

Haiku
for Nov 14,  2020

Living for moments
can often become deadly
if they’re the wrong ones.

Various turnstiles
may have warning signs displayed
that might surprise you.

Trivial thinking
can often create worry
that needs not be done.

Windows of our minds
need to be cleaned time to time
to see more clearly.

Morning’s arrival
may have many perspectives
that our minds can change.

Searching for a cloud,
you might find a thunderstorm
that’s waiting to rain.

Blissful emotions
can become nightmares in seconds
if they’re pushed to far.

Leaving doors open
you might let in some trouble
that is not welcomed.

The leaves on the trees
create a world of their own
in autumn’s design.

When counting raindrops
you will surely become lost
as many will fall.

Anchoring shallow
you might miss the depths of life
that time can offer.

Leaning to widely
you might find balance is gone
and fall to the floor.

Now is a moment
that past and future will meet
to teach right from wrong.

Many evil minds
view others the way they think
and not what that’s true.

Insecure people
can become leaches in life
if they are allowed.

Pouring your anger
in a cup of gasoline
can cause explosions.

Wisdom is a tool
that before was ignorance
that you experienced.

Within the darkness
there is light that can be found
as you kneel and pray.

Shadows in the night
might only be a tree limb
blowing in the breeze.

Searching for a dream
you might discover nightmares
that acted like dreams.

Life’s necessity
can involve letting things go
to help you to grow.

Within a forest
may be many hidden trees
that light is devoid.
