ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

I hope you’re having a nice holiday season.
I guess you may of noticed that I didn’t send
a journal last week huh 🙂  Well the reason is
that we had some power outages that in turn
crashed my computer and it would not come
back on.  The power supply was fried.  So I
called around last Monday and finally found
someone to work on my computer and they
got the new power supply installed and got
it up and running pretty quick.  It was fixed
by Thursday.  He had to order the part and
wait for it to be delivered,  but when he got
it he called me and said,  ya wanna get it
done today?  Judy and I drove on over and
he had it done in an hour along with fixing
a few other minor problems that were with
my PC.  So,  I’m back in business,  but have
begun backing up my poems and books on
my laptop PC.  The reason I cannot use the
laptop to send emails is because it’s way too
small for my eyesight and my large hands
and fingers.  I have to use my number one
PC for all of that.  So,  now ya know what
happened last week LOL.  Now,  onwards
with the journal.  So we had a snow and ice
storm come through last weekend which
in turn answers the earlier question about
the power outages LOL.  The trees outside
are still heavy laden with snow and ice on
them.  It’s very pretty,  but I bet the trees
don’t think so hehehe.  They’re probably
saying,  “get this stuff off of me”!   Yep
the branches are struggling to carry all of
that weight.  We had another few power
outages during the week from branches
falling on power lines and lines snapping
from the weight of the ice that is on them
as they crashed our Dish TV DVR which
meant I had to call them up and yammer
with someone that could not speak good
English to have them send us a new DVR.
Well,  the new DVR was delivered Friday
and Judy and I got it changed out and up
and running.  She did the programming
being my eyesight sucks LOL.  It came
with instructions telling how to get it up
and running and activated.  We’re happy.
Christmas is just around the corner and
we’re excitedly waiting for it.  Oh yea,
yet another thing that was caused by the
snow storm is our landline is not working
well.  They’re coming tomorrow morning
to have a look at it and hopefully get us
fixed.  Yep,  we’ve had a few problems 🙂
One by one they are slowly getting fixed.
I think I’ll fix Judy and I some pancakes
for breakfast today.  I just heard Judy up
and scurrying around in the bedroom and
so did the boys hehehe.  Yep,  here she is.
So,  I believe I’ll take a pause here to fix
us pancakes and sausage……………………..
Ok, all done and we’ve finished eating 🙂
I got the dishes washed and I’m ready for
the next adventure.  Judy loves for me to
make pancakes :).  Anyways,  next topic.
Last night was craft night for the girls
and when Judy was heading out to the
car with a few things for them to munch
on,  she slipped on the ice and fell in the
snow.  She’s OK,  but her plastic food
platter that she had the pinwheels in got
busted up as it broke Judy’s fall.  We’ll
get another one for her 🙂  They are not
expensive.  I’m just glad Judy’s OK.  I
didn’t have any clothes on or shoes and
I went out to try to help her get up and
she told me to go in the house and put
some shoes on LOL.   Of course by the
time I had done that,  she had already
gotten up out of the snow and was still
ready to head to craft night.  I worried
about her ,  but she said she was OK.
Anyways,  a few hours after she left it
started to snow and for a while it was
snowing HEAVY and I tried to call her
to tell her just in case she was unaware
of the weather conditions,  but the darn
phone wouldn’t work.  Only static and
a busy signal.  I sat and worried some
more and then tried the phone again
and it worked this time and she said she
was heading out the door.  I told her to
please drive slow.  She made it home in
one piece.  She said she drove 20 to 25
MPH up until some dude got behind her
and started tail gating and she sped up
a little,  but she said if he wanted to go
faster then drive around,  because she
said she was not speeding up any more.
She said, it was just her and Trudy her
twin sister for craft night.  Nobody else
showed up.  I guess they were scared of
the weather :),  just as I was.  Anyways,
she said they had a good time and filled
up on pinwheels LOL.  I wrote a couple
of poems Friday,  but I am only going
to share the poems that I wrote for last
weeks journal that got postponed due to
power failures.  You’ll see the ones that
I wrote Friday in next weeks journal 🙂
God has really been busy watching over
us lately.  I’m sure the angels are a bit
out of breath hehehe.  Thank You God
for all that You have done for us and
all that You will do.  AMEN.  Now I do
believe it’s time for me to begin reading
back over all that I’ve written here to see
if I can find a good word or phrase that
I can use for the title for today’s brand
new poem.  So,  it’s away I go to that
place of my recollections that I always
like to call RECOLLECT VILLE…….
I think I may have found a decent title
about halfway through my rambling
and now after checking I see that it’s
not been used yet,  so used it shall be.
Here goes nothing…

Excitedly Waiting

Christmas is coming
the children await
searching for Santa
their heartbeats elate.
Singing of Rudolf
and Frosty of snow
they are as dreamers
excitement to flow.
Time is an eternity
or so it might seem
excitedly waiting
with eyes all agleam.
They search the skies
for Santa and sleigh
as they fall asleep
awaiting for the day.
Then within morning
they run to the tree
and search all around
as happy as can be.
Yet,  it’s just a dream
as they are elating
thinking of old Santa
while excitedly waiting.

Well,  there ya go.  A children’s Christmas
poem.  I hope you like it and maybe even
my rambling 🙂  I hope and pray that you
are doing well and all,  but if you are sick
I pray that you heal quickly.  So,  that’s
about all I have for you from this side of
the world other than what I tell you every
week of course with a few exceptions LOL
and that is,  I wrote some more poems and
haiku,  but they are from the week before
last.  Yep,  I wrote 10 more poems and 9
of them are Christmas poems HoHoHo 🙂
I also wrote 22 more haiku for all of the
haiku lovers out there.  I hope you can
find 1 or 2 of either or both that you like.
Now with that said,  I believe it’s time
for me to begin my search for that hardly
elusive off switch that has had an extra
week to find a good hiding spot,  but not
before I wish you a blessings filled week.
Remember,  Jesus loves you and we do
too.  Okey dokey,  where can that silly
off switch be trying to hide?  Hmmmm,
LOL you couldn’t get flat enough to hide
behind my external hard drive could ya 🙂
Nope,  it’s pretty slim hahaha and you’re
not.  To think that you had a whole extra
week to try and find a good hiding spot
and you chose to hide where there is no
way you can become not seen hehehehe.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

Playing in Snow

Living for a moment
of a wintery dream
time might unleash
a Christmassy theme.
Scented of snowflakes
the season procures
as playing in snow
shows magical tours.
Moments come to life
in wonderful style
as snowflakes fall
giving many a smile.
Becoming as artwork
of wintertime days
snow creates sights
of wondrous displays.
Children of memories
become as our view
in white snow hills
how they used to do.
Playing in snow then
as time moved on
became a memory
with a seasonal song.
 Sung from the heart
with seasonal flare
as a time so divine
it seems as a prayer.
Christmassy moments
that pictures bestow
may be of children
seen playing in snow.

Winter’s Moon

When night comes
it brings a phase
a time that shines
for ones to gaze.
A moonlight glow
amidst the night
a winter’s moon
shining so bright.
It might be hidden
as clouds pass by
this winter’s moon
so high in the sky.
The season’s grasp
is held real tight
as the day ends
to shine at night.
As a glistening orb
it shows a scene
this winter’s moon
becomes a dream.
It opens a window
to create designs
as we dream on
within our minds.
Christmas dreams
come into sight
in search of Santa
as he takes flight.
Within the clouds
a sight so soon
is Christmastime
in winter’s moon.

A Winter Journey

Just like the tracks
of a railroad train
a pathway can find
a time to attain.
Scenic beginnings
in Christmas styles
form as a journey
to glorious smiles.
A winter journey
to there and beyond
opens up doorways
to then continue on.
Just like a railroad
in a wintery phase
Christmas begins
for many to gaze.
Maybe no lights
on the trees of time,
but showing seasons
to live in the mind.
Reminisce a journey
you made long ago
maybe as a child
playing in the snow.
Take on the tracks
and let them begin
a winter journey
to time and again.

Snowbird

This bird of style
displays its show
as a life so divine
in winter’s snow.
Found in a song
it’s sung in tune
as times before
in a scenic swoon.
It may be a day
a time long ago
a holiday style
you had to let go.
It flew to the sky
with not a word
leaving a dream
of this snowbird.

Blessings of Christmas

Peace within a home
thrives as heartbeats
as blessings are seen
when sadness retreats.
Home for Christmas
with a seasonal age
is often as a book
with a turn of a page.
The years have passed
leaving just a frame
blessings of Christmas
that time did attain.
A home of reflections
might surely exist
as a moment in time
of a memories mist.
Remember the good
and release all the sad
and find the blessings
you’re glad you had.
Timeless memories
can become as today’s
blessings of Christmas
in wonderful ways.

December Minds

Ones with an essence
of a Christmas heart
so often are excited
for December to start.
They count the days
as weeks move on
the December minds
with a Christmas song.
They seem to prepare
their winter clothes
amidst the moments
each moment unfolds.
Waiting for the time
to see the window
displaying the views
with December snow.
 The season unleashes
the dreamers views
as moments become
what choices choose.
Watching as seconds
evolve as a dream
of December minds
such a magical scene.
December’s moments
can live on as smiles
Christmas thoughts
that blissful compiles.
As seasonal shadows
in winter’s designs
many still dream on
with December minds.

Making Snowballs

The December snow
paves way for a child
to create a snowball
as snow is compiled.
Formed ice crystals
within packed design
making snowballs
is a wonderful time.
Playing in the snow
is a wonderful scene
making snowballs
is a lil child’s dream.
December’s window
becomes our delights
like the memories
of Christmas lights.
A life of amazement
the moments display
with winter’s snow
as children will play.
Time’s like artwork
of a mystery’s design
that children see
within wintertime.
Imagining moments
as a big man of white
that’s made of snow
and a magical sight.
Beginning a dream
that magically befalls
when a child begins
making snowballs.

Scenic Reflections

Snow covered dreams
and scenic views
become as a moment
that seasons infuse.
Just like snowflakes
of a passing array
the scenic reflections
transform the grey.
They display windows
filled with passion
times that become as
a reflective fashion.
Giving us heartbeats
of faraway sights
as seasons pass us by
in days and nights.
Wintertime reflections
are as scenic fires
burning in the hearts
as so many desires.
Painted by moments
that fell to Earth
Heavenly snowflakes
beginning a birth.
Changing perspectives
as a passing car
becoming reflections
we see from afar.
Christmas memories
enhance affections
as snowflakes falling
in scenic reflections.

Yarns of Christmas

Stories more stories
told of the tales
times that remind
how a snowflake sails.
Many are doorways
to timeless cuisines
as yarns of Christmas
found within dreams.
You might not find
the then and gone
until you’re passed
as you just moved on.
Seeming as windows
with a point of view
as yarns of Christmas
say how do you do.
Speaking of a time
or a magical place
our stories unfold
as a time we embrace.
Becoming as dreams
with a taste of time
as yarns of Christmas
that are so divine.
Stories we have told
to our families
all about Heaven
and why ones believe.
Learn about Jesus
His saving grace
as yarns of Christmas
this time and place.

Christmas Moon

Once was a moment
in a Christmas sky
seen as the season
that reindeer fly.
Unfolding a dream
in scenes that shine
a Christmas moon
an awesome design.
For if you look close
you might surely see
Mr. and Mrs. Claus
so happy and free.
Sitting on the moon
up high in the sky
listening to songs
about how he can fly.
It’s a dream world
within a child’s mind
of a Christmas moon
that little eyes find.
Seen as a blessing
as time comes attune
children’s perception
of a Christmas moon.

Haiku
for Dec 5,  2020

Lessons from a storm
often come in as lightning
creating thunder.

Time is a journey
that many misunderstand
until it has passed.

The lines on a face
might display many struggles
or their happy smiles.

Scenic mysteries
become as many doorways
within a journey.

Searching too deeply
for the answers to a dream
might unlock nightmares.

Colors of the sky
are often as illusions
created by clouds.

Pages of a book
can hold many mysteries
of fiction or truth.

Changes come with time
and time comes with some changes
that we must accept.

Previous patterns
might show reasons for today
that may need changing.

Stages of our life
can become as reflections
in anothers eyes.

A painter’s artwork
is often created as dreams
that become alive.

Seconds are counted
when ones get too impatient
and want things right now.

Seasons of shadows
are as many reflections
on now and again.

Memorizing things
might become an irritant
that bothers others.

Scenes we discover
when pathways are uncovered
might leave mysteries.

Various designs
become parts of our lifestyles
if they impress us.

When counting ones flaws
you need to count the lessons
that they might of learned.

Beyond this moment
lies doorways to tomorrow
that now doesn’t see.

Pointing out failures
and not seeing your own flaws
might prove you are blind.

Trying on ones life
and attempting to wear it
could become painful.

Cherishing money,
not seeing the emptiness
can make you lonely.

Too many problems
become as our excuses
for why we don’t try.
