ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been pretty nice up this way weather
wise.  Though it’s supposed to be a little
warm tomorrow with a high of 81.  Right
now it’s 78 which was the high for today.
We’ve been just enjoying the days as they
pass us by.  Last Monday we went to pay
the light bill and then did some shopping.
When we got home,  I got the lawnmower
out and did a little mowing.  LOL I did
a little mowing video to show people how
our little 40 volt battery operated mower
does.  It was a 4 minute video.  I mow in
4 or 5 minute segments due to my asthma
as well as my legs hurting and getting tired,
but I get it done gradually 🙂  Judy is still
doing crocheting learning other things to
make 🙂  I did a little picture taking while
mowing and also afterwards 🙂  Thursday
we went to Walmart for us to pick up our
prescriptions and then for me to buy  some
plant hangers to mount outside on the side
of our porch so Judy can hang a few plants
out there and get some sunshine and rain.
Yep,  we live what most people would call
a mundane lifestyle LOL.  Saturday I took
me a little walk down the road to take some
pictures and ended up walking better than
a mile which meant better than a mile back.
I found a lot of day lilies as well as a lot of
other flowers and things to take pictures of.
I even met some nice people that live down
the road from us.  We stood and talked for
a while but then my legs were beginning to
throb,  so I had to tell them I need to get
back on the road home before my legs give
out LOL.  I promised to come back and
visit them.  They are near mine and Judy’s
ages.  Anyways,  I told them what I do with
the pictures that I take.  I try to find ones
that I can use for poetry.  I may give them
one of my books.  I have a few here that
I bought for myself at author price.  Life
is good.  My hip isn’t hurting as bad as it
had been.  I believe all of that walking I’ve
done mowing and picture taking has helped
it out a bit.  Of course when I got home
from my picture taking walk Saturday I
was going to take the boys out for a little
field trip and ended up stepping in one of
the holes made by the idiots that plowed
our driveway last winter.   They thought
they would make our driveway larger not
thinking that there might be consequences
for plowing into the field LOL.  Yep they
got stuck bad and the tires to their tractor
dug quite a few holes,  which I have been
complaining about to our landlord and
to them,  but to no avail,  nothing is being
done.  I did not see the hole yesterday due
to grass covering it,  but I found it LOL.
My ankle is doing better now,  being that
even after I fell down, I took the boys out
in the field so they could run around and
play.   Then after all of that I got out our
lawnmower and mowed quite a bit,  but
then afterwards,  my old ankle was barking
at me hehehe.  I got out one of my crutches
that I had from years back and it helped me
to get around the house.  My ankle seems
to be healing quite quickly and isn’t  hurting
near as bad.  Anyways,  I got a few pictures
of the boys as they ran all over the place.
They love going out in the field with Judy
and I,  but will not go without us.  They
are very good about that.  I’ll share a few
of the pictures in my stationery that I took
while on my little walk down the road as
well as ones that I took of the boys in the
field.  LOL I’ll also share a few of the
pictures taken of the days before.  They
might look boring to you,  but they make
me smile.  While I was walking down the
road,  Judy went to spend time with her
sister Barbara as did all of the other sisters.
Judy got on to me for doing all of that
walking hehehe.  She was worried about
me,  but I told her I was OK.  It’s just
a sprain.  I am walking well today and
asked Judy if she wanted to go to do some
Mini golfing this week.  She loves the idea.
We’ll go sometime this week and maybe
again later in the month.   We do love to
mini golf 🙂 and get ice cream afterwards.
It doesn’t cost that much and it’s good
exercise for both of us and it gets us out
of the house to enjoy a little sunshine.
It’s cloudy today,  but no rain is in the
forecast for today.  There is rain in the
forecast for Wednesday and Friday,  so
we definitely will not be going to play
mini golf then LOL.  Anyways,  we’re
enjoying our time together as the Earth
goes around and around.  God has been
very good to us.  He has watched over
us as has many angels and friendly spirits.
God has blessed us with all that we need
as well as many things we do not need,
but only want.  Thank You God for all
that You have done for us and surely all
that You will do.  AMEN and AMEN.
Now I do believe it’s time for me to be
reading back over all that I’ve written
here to see if I can find a good word or
phrase that I can use for the title for
today’s brand new poem.  So,  It’s
away I go to that little place of my
recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I might
of found a fairly decent title just about
a 4th of the way back in my rambling
and now after looking I see that I have
not used to as of yet,  so here goes…

Around and Around

Ages pass by us
as wheels of a car
around and around
from near to afar.
Scenes become time
as echoes of wind
often reoccurring
now and again.
Life comes in view
as minutes pass by
while going around
to a season’s reply.
Forming pictures
moments become
around and around
each seasonal sun.
Beauty is within it
each sight we see,
windows perfection
with life as the key.
Search with hopeful
the sky and ground
and find the beauty
around and around.

Well,  there ya go.  I hope you liked the
poem and maybe just maybe even some
of my rambling LOL.  Yep I do ramble
don’t I 🙂  Judy’s sister is not doing any
better,  but prayer can change that,  so
please put Barbara in your prayers.  She
needs it.  That’s about all I have for you
this week aside from what I tell you every
week and that is, I wrote some more poems
and haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more poems with
1 Christmas poem in the mix.  I also wrote
22 more haiku for all of the haiku lovers
out there.  I hope you can find 1 or 2 of
either or both that you like.  Now I believe
it’s time for me to start my search for that
hardly elusive off switch,  but not before I
wish you a wonderful week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  Now to
find that ornery off switch that here lately
has not been that good at hiding hehehe.
LOL I think I see movement underneath
my selfy stick.  Yep,  I see ya,  That is the
same thing I fell with yesterday and tried
not to let my camera hit the ground,  so
I just set that thing there yesterday.  I did
happen to notice it rolling back and forth
when it should not of been moving at all 🙂

Flowering fields
the season unveils

and other details.
Echoes of beauty
formed as a glance
sweet scenic views

Arranged as songs
sung with a breeze
summertime’s days
with bumble bees.
With daisies blooms
moments transform
creating the scenes
the seasons adorn.
Take in a moment
to surely appraise
beauty of nature

Time is Avail

Wings of a seagull
fly as a breeze
creating turnstiles
over the seas.
Ones that perceive
this magical sight
may think illusion
within the daylight.
Waves of moments
form as a dream
as time is avail
to a sea of cuisine.
Salt air uniting
a breath to breathe
giving an essence
for ones to believe.

may seem as a tale
a story of nature

Clouds Transform

Forming an echo
in the sky above
clouds transform
to Heaven’s love.
Often as motions
floating as dreams
seeming as cotton
a sky of streams.
An ocean of blue
holds every sight
as clouds become
as a sea of white.
Forming a style
that only they can
clouds transform
without any plan.
They do with ease
what painters try
creating artwork
in a true blue sky.
They give beauty
within a storm
with their artwork
clouds transform.

Moments Meet

Past meets present
life meets death,
yet there’s living
as another breath.
In our reflections
so many carry on
as our memories
of right and wrong.
Create goodness
while you are here
to live in others
year after year.
More than graves
are many a face
so move forward
and truly embrace.
Hold to goodness
and surely accrete
in God’s blessings
as moments meet.

Snowy Memoirs

I can remember
those snowy days
a season of scenes
in magical ways.
Snowy moments
remembered well
are written within
as stories to tell.
A season of bliss
that times unfold
Christmas sights
in winters of old.
A snowy pathway
written of a time
becomes a memoir
living in the mind.
Snowflakes seem
as falling stars
creating scenery
as snowy memoirs.

Within Serenity

Stages transform
our inner thoughts
what that’s found,
what that’s lost.
Times can become
as our scenic desires
formed as a stage
of all that transpires.
Serenity enlightens
a chance for a smile
within a new day
with love to compile.
Leave your worries

and find hopeful
in shadows you cast.
Look within you
and locate the key
found deep inside
within serenity.

Effigies of Time

Faces of summer
that time endears
become as effigies
within the years.
Formed as scenes
of song and dance
effigies of time as
springs romance.
Dancing artwork
in summer’s dawn
faces as effigies
a season is drawn.
Spring to summer
paintings of style
effigies of time
may then compile.
Formed as seasons
open their eyes
displaying settings
seconds comprise.
Life moves onto
a seasonal mind
often concluded
effigies of time.

Dreamers Dreams

Passages of pages
turning as a mind
create the pictures
of time after time.
Dreams conviction
creates some sights
often as windows
a dreamer delights.
It may look bland
this sight you see,
but to some others
be Heaven for free.
Given as blessings
a passing design
dreamers dreams
of a point in time.
Scented of echoes
as shadows appear
dreams come alive
times we endear.
Look more closely
at passing scenes
and you may find
dreamers dreams.

Hazy Sky

The moon may glow
in a hazy sky
and still shine bright
as clouds fly by.
In a hazy moment
it may look just like
a scene up above
as a bright flashlight.
Glowing showing
scenes in a way
that shine so bright
in the midst of day.
The moon may shine
its reflected source
of that of the sun
with gleaming force.
Shining into night
as it continues on
its pattern of flight
until it is gone.
Moonlight comes
to gently fly by
so often found
within a hazy sky.

Sudden Storms

Times might come
and times might go
giving us moments
that come for show.
The passing storms
that time creates
might have lessons
for future dates.
Clouds might unite
in now and again
as sudden storms
of moments wind.
Suddenly seasons
will seem to shine
as the moments
display their time.
Clouds might brew
as life transforms
and create strength
in sudden storms.

Haiku
for July 10,  2021

Leaves of summertime
might create many moments
speaking to the wind.

Left over sadness
can create many doorways
we should not enter.

Time is a window
that’s often very dirty
and needing cleaning.

Scenic desires
can become as living dreams
if we look real hard.

Walking down a road
you might discover flowers
you missed when driving.

The lines on a face
are often just confusion
as time slips ahead.

We all have moments
that some may not understand
so take it to prayer.

Living in a time
that has passed on from today
might leave you empty.

Sharing a moment
is like sharing a heartbeat
that many don’t see.

Staring at others
with greedy wants and wishes
only finds sadness.

Seeing only storms
when the wind and clouds arrive
you’ll miss the rainbow.

Happiness transforms
what misery brought to life,
so seek for the joy.

Stabilizing minds
as time continues forward
you may find some peace.

Efforts of a ant
are made stronger by others
working as a team.

Looking too deeply
you might find many failures
when success is made.

Day meets illusion
in dreamers reality,
yet it can exist.

A forest of minds
can unleash many turnstiles
as branches and leaves.

The sounds of nature
can bring to life adventures
that your mind travels.

Changing directions
can provide a good journey,
but it may be bad.

A persons choices
might have negative outcomes
so be on your guard.

Sentimental paths
can become great memories
or regrets of change.

Today brings choices
of what to do or to say
that we need choose well.
