Not A Peep

Hello my friends

It’s been a fairly decent passed few days
up here in New Limerick Maine.  Fall is
slowly but surely making itself known as
the leaves are changing.  It’s looking as
if I will have to get our brakes done on
our car,  but they’ll do till we get paid 🙂
I’ll set an appointment to have them done
next week.  LOL life in the fast lane.  We
haven’t done much.  We do though have
plans on going for an autumn drive and
out to eat and maybe even mini golfing
for our 20 year wedding anniversary.  It
is Oct 2 🙂  We’ll play it by ear,  but I’m
sure we’ll have a great day whatever we
do being we’ll be together.  It has rained
off and on today beginning real early this
morning.  A good friend of mine came up
from Texas today.  Me and Curtis used
to work at the same factory in Greenville
Texas.  I haven’t seen him in nearly 20
years.  We had a nice visit and then we
went down to Brookside Restaurant and
got a bite to eat.  Judy told us to go on
without her,  so she stayed home and
crocheted.  We took some selfies while
we were at the diner and the waitress
took a few of us using my camera LOL.
I gave Curtis a couple of my books and
signed them.  It was great seeing an old
friend.  He has headed back on his long
drive to Texas now.  There’s not much
else going on around here.  This week
hasn’t much going on other than Judy’s
doctor appointment Thursday in Bangor.
We might take the boys out for a field
trip tomorrow.  They love to go for runs
in the field with Judy and I.  Of course
they do the running and we do the slow
motion walking hehehe.  They run a bit
and then look back to see where we are
and wait for us to catch up a bit and
then run some more 🙂  Yep,  we’ve got
some good little boys.  They both love
to sit in my lap,  but unfortunately I am
unable to hold them both comfortably,
so I usually will be holding one with the
other in the floor trying to wait patiently
for their turn LOL.  We were surprised
how good the boys were when Curtis
was here.  LOL even antisocial little
Rocky jumped up to visit with him on
the couch.  Benny was saying hello as
well,  but he usually does.  Judy told
them not to bark at him and they were
good and not a peep out of them.  They
did though bark when Curtis and I got
back from the diner,  because Judy had
accidentally locked the front door and I
could not get in LOL.  They let her know
that I was at the front door.  God has
been good to us.  He has kept His mighty
hands over us watching over us.  Also He
has sent many angels and friendly spirits
to guide us and protect us.  Thank You
God for all that you do and all that You
will do.  AMEN.  Now I do believe it is
time for me to be reading back over all
that I’ve written here to see if I can find
a good word or phrase that I can use for
the title for today’s brand new poem.  So
it’s away I go to that little place of my
recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I found
a fairly decent title just a few lines back
and now after checking I see that it has
not been used yet,  so used it shall be.
Here goes…

Not A Peep

Words from many
silence shows
their behavior
times expose.
So often many
will only announce
within their anger
a time to pounce.
Yet as passages
form a stage
the silence echoes
that of rage.
Don’t let life
to close your view
open your mouth
say how do you do.
Find your peace
in prayer to keep,
but don’t let anger
to be not a peep.

Well,  there ya go.  I hope you liked the
poem and you understood it.  I also hope
you enjoyed my rambling.  There’s not
much else to tell ya other than what I tell
you nearly every week and that is,  I wrote
some more poems and haiku.  Yeppers, 10
more poems and 22 more haiku for all of
the haiku lovers out there.  I hope you can
find 1 or 2 of either or both that you like.
OK,  so now I reckon it’s time for me to
begin my search for that hardly elusive off
switch,  but not before I wish you a most
joyful blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  Alrighty
then,  so where can that silly off switch
be trying to hide this time?  LOL, Like it
actually puts forth any amount of effort
to hide :).  Yet then,   I’ve been looking
for it for a few minutes now and no sign
of it.  LOL Yep,  that’s all I’ve gotta do
take a while finding it and it gets bored
and starts fidgeting and voila there ya
are.  Peeking up from behind my color
ink cartridges for my inkjet printer :).
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

Empty Lanes

Traveling mindsets
can become gold
stories evolving
timeless as told.
Formed as a lane
that has no cars
minds can become
a journey to Mars.
Watching as time
becomes a year
perspective scenes
may become clear.
As a line on a road
that divides a view
moments are found
saying hello to you.
Maybe as glimmers
of snow of white
or scenes up above
as clouds in flight.
Follow the roads
a venture attains
so often found in
life’s empty lanes.

Musical Memoirs

Written in the mind
words of a phrase
times with a friend
in wondrous arrays.
Sitting picking tunes
creating memories
musical memoirs
a picture only sees.
The tunes find rest
in a moment’s mind
as minutes tick on
to a point in time.
Recalling scenes
that came so alive
as musical memoirs
time does contrive.
Forming reflections
within living stars
these are the times
of musical memoirs.

Tunnel Vision

Often our views
might only perceive
times with troubles
and webs we weave.
It might seem faint
the path of good,
but in a tunnel
be misunderstood.
Our lessons in life
are often from pain
times in a tunnel
of time and again.
Scenes become dim
as visions obscured
within the tunnels
time has contoured.
Bringing our vision
into that of time
a vision of lifestyles
so hard to find.
Yet with a glimmer
a moment’s decision
answers may come
within tunnel vision.

Midmorning Dreams

Appearing as shadows
ones might be seen
strolling on a beach
with sunshine agleam.
Hidden behind clouds
the sunshine awakes
and shines of times
a dreamer partakes.
Years may pass by
that seem as gold
times upon a beach
from the days of old.
Midmorning dreams
awaken the sights
a day of beginnings
a heartbeat delights.
Memories heightened
to a time and place
midmorning dreams
that we may embrace.
Living within minds
of sunshine scenes
this is what is called
midmorning dreams.

Rowing Together

Working as one
throughout a phase
ones can go farther
in a life of waves.
Storms may billow
as waves of style
but rowing together
can create a smile.
Finding a strength
in a boat of time
by rowing together
as the same mind.
Not letting times
to create disruption
rowing unsteadily
finding corruption.
Look for a way
to bond and form
a much better life
for time to adorn.
Seeking in waves
of now and forever
we can make it
by rowing together.

Momentary Bliss

Seeing as shadows
scenes to and fro
times that become
a momentary flow.
Moments perceived
as a dreamers view
blissful accountings
of a weathered hue.
Yet for the moment
you might only see
the passings of time
of a shadow’s key.
Life’s as doorways
to untethered sight
as seasons of scenes
from day unto night.
Seeming an illusion
time gives a kiss
instilled blessings
momentary bliss.

Just a Breath

Seconds churning
form a time
breaths to breathe
within the mind.
Country scenes
become our gaze
scented with
wondrous ways.
Within a breath
is old and new
as dots connect
each scenic view.
Now meets then
as days pass by
leaving many
to wonder why.
Search and find
the times of gold
found within
the minds of old.
For oh so many
see only the less
when there’s more
than just a breath.

Golden Reflections

The days we recall
that flew right by
hold the reflections
in our inner eye.
Scenes remembered
moments so great
golden reflections
of a time and date.
The waves of life
of an oceans mind
may crash ashore
with shells to find.
The ocean speaks
with words of gold
giving us moments
of which to hold.
Held as blessings
in times perfections
heart filled desires
golden reflections.

Mindful Flight

We might one day
find another flight
that life gives us
for another sight.
A flight to scenes
that might expose
a passing phase
of highs and lows.
We might be seen
as making waves
mindful moments
the passing days.
Let God guide you
in each episode
that might be seen
as a rippling road.
Troubles will come,
but you will thrive
with God so great
to help you survive.
Find some peace
within the flames
of toil and troubles
a lifetime attains.
Seek for hopeful
a prayerful sight
as you continue
a mindful flight.

Dream Time’s Illusion

Time may seem faint
as echoes appear
dream time’s illusion
of a faded yesteryear.
You might see sights
of a glimmering hue
as a dreamer’s ocean
a deep sea of blue.
There may be a man
standing thereupon
fishing pole in hand
as he just looks on.
Looking to the sky
he says a little prayer
for God to intervene
with fish to ensnare.
He may seem blurry
this man that you see
that’s talking to God
in a prayerful degree.
He might even show
a bit of confusion
within your mindsets
dream time’s illusion.

Tomorrow’s doorway
might expose itself today,
so keep your eyes peeled.

Windows to lifestyles
may be with some deception
that time does not show.

Many standing strong,
might have a few weaker links
that are just standing.

Glimmers of sunlight
can give warmth to thaw the mind
just by seeing it.

Noticing teardrops
does not mean that one is sad,
but yet with feelings.

Trimming off people
that insult and anger you
might help you to breathe.

Trading illusions
for the actual moments
might prove to be bad.

Dreaming of someone
can often become nightmares
when the truth is seen.

Years might pass us by
leaving us many shadows
that we do not know.

Glancing at the sun
your eyes might become blinded,
so take care your sight.

The tiniest hills
can become mountains in time
and go unnoticed.

Traveling through time
you might discover yourself
doing stupid things.

Ages of heartbeats
don’t always show what is true
until they are gone.

Tainted memories
can form a sick attachment
and hide what is true.

Raindrops from heaven
are often many blessings
and sometimes a storm.

Seasons remembered
might be the peace you needed
to help you get by.

Changing directions
does not always work so well,
but it might help you.

Discovering dewdrops
in early morning hours
can heighten your breath.

Living for others
and not taking care of you
can become your end.

Various gateways
have many paths to display,
but some can kill you.

Yearning for others
or what that they are owning
can be unhealthy.

Streams of illusions
pour out like mighty rivers,
but often run dry.
