Minds in Time

Hello my friends

I hope your weekend was well.  Ours was OK.
Of course the temperature has dropped again.
The high for yesterday was 45 and the high for
today is 9 F.  It’s 4 F degrees right now and is
supposed to drop to -5 by Monday morning 🙂
Monday’s high is supposed to be 10 with the
low for the night -4 LOL.  Tuesday’s high is
supposed to be 14 with it dropping to -13 by
late night,  but Wednesday it’s supposed to
begin warming a bit with a high of 24 and a
low of 23,  then by Thursday it’s supposed to
be a high of LOL get this,  46 F degrees with
the low for the night 35 F hehehe.  Yeppers
it’s weird.  The weather cannot make up its
mind what it wants to do.  Somebody please
fire the groundhog.  What fool gave the job
of telling when winter will end to a rodent?
I know it’s not meant to be taken serious :),
but still hehehe.  Next topic,  well,  our little
boy Benny is now upon Rainbow Bridge as
he passed Tuesday night.  Judy and I have
cried tons of tears,  but we know that he is
no longer in any pain and is now with Milo
his big brother that passed on July of 2015.
They now both wait for us to come and to
join them and head off to Heaven.  Rocky
misses his brother.  We can see the tears in
his eyes,  but he is doing well.  We miss our
little boys,  but we know their spirits will
always be with us.  I’m hoping to be able to
get a picture of Benny’s spirit the same that
I got of his brother Milo in April of 2017 🙂
I will only know when it will happen when
it happens.  It’s not something I can predict.
We’ll have Benny’s ashes in a week or so
and we’ll put them beside Milo’s ashes on
the entertainment center in the living room.
They’ll be together again :).  We’re debating
about getting another dog,  but so far it is
a no.  We might change our minds in time,
but for now,  we are only looking being we
couldn’t afford the cost to pay the fees to
get another dog this month anyways.  Life
goes on.  Rocky has been doing well since
the loss of his brother.  Okey dokey,  so
onto the next chapter of Rambles Ville 🙂
My new OLD camera came last Monday
and it works well.  It’s a used camera,  but
the same brand that I had.  It takes great
pictures.  I’ve taken quite a few pictures
using it this passed week.  We took Benny
to the vet Tuesday and he was a sick little
boy.  He had a bad case of pancreatitis
and he was not going to last the night so
we decided to have him put to sleep.  The
vet called us and asked if we wanted to be
there and see him when he was put to sleep,
but we were snowed in and unable to get
out of our driveway.  Our wheels were just
spinning on the ice.  Anyways Wednesday
I asked our only neighbor if he would help
us to get our car unstuck and he did and
we got it rolling.  Thursday I drove the car
into town to Parent’s Body Shop for him
to work on the drivers side door handle.
He had trouble with it and gave me a ride
home,  but the next day he was able to
fix it with fresh eyes 🙂  I hate plastic door
handles LOL.  They suck in cold weather.
Anyways,  Kevin at Parent’s Body Shop
drove me home Thursday and then him
and his wife delivered the car Friday at
noon.  Judy went to craft night Saturday
night (last night),  but her and her sisters
didn’t do any crafts.  Judy said that they
just talked about things that had gone on
in their lives.  Anyways,  Judy came home
late last night and we watched TV and ate.
So,  that’s about all that has gone on here
at the Pearce’s Place this passed week.  Yep
we’re an exciting bunch aren’t we 🙂 LOL.
Well I do believe it has gotten to that point
and time that I need to read back on all
that I’ve written here to see if I can find me
a word or phrase that I can use for the title
for today’s new poem.  So,  it’s away I go
to that place of my recollection that I like
to call RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I
may have found a decent title around the
halfway mark of my rambling and now
after checking,  I see that it has not been
used yet,   so use it shall be.  Here goes…

Minds in Time

Stages of moments
fall into place
seeming illusions
of memory’s face.
Formed as a breeze
that blows through
as minds in time
of me and you.
We might not see
the stages we’ve set
until we fall in
and get really wet.
For life is a pool
of watery scenes
that we may find
in so many things.
Minutes that pass
may become rhyme
as we recall them
our minds in time.

Well, there ya go.  I hope you liked the poem
and maybe even a bit of my rambling.  I just
thought of something.  Our hot water heater
was frozen the week before,  but last Sunday
evening I was able to get it thawed by turning
up the heat in the house and closing the door
to the bathroom where the hot water heater is
located or sort of located LOL and it thawed
it.  No busted pipes,  being I had every faucet
in the house on to relieve the pressure when
it did thaw.  Otherwise it would have surely
busted the pipes.  Anyways,  today has been
a good day except for that canned sausage
gravy that I put on our biscuits today.  That
stuff tasted awful.  I’ll scrape off what I put
on the biscuits for tomorrow and make the
gravy the regular way.  I hope I can scrape
off enough so that the good gravy will work.
Trial and error.  We would of never known
that the canned gravy taste awful if we had
not of tried it.  YUCKY YUCK EWE YUCK.
So I guess it’s time for me to tell you what
I tell you nearly every week and that is,  I
wrote some more poems and haiku.  Yep,
10 more poems with 1 Christmas poem in
the mix.  I also wrote 22 more haiku for all
the haiku lovers out there.  I hope you can
find 1 or 2 of either or both that you like.
I reckon it’s time for me to begin searching
for that hardly elusive off switch,  but not
before I wish you all a Happy Valentines
Day and a blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  Now,  where
can that ornery off switch be trying to hide
this time????  Hmm,  it seems that my SD
card reader has gotten a life of its own LOL.
It seems to be dancing across the top of my
computer.  Hahaha I see ya you silly thing.
Hehehe ya almost fell off didn’t ya.  There’s
not much room on my PC to dance is there.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

Dreamers of Desire

Within a daylily
many sights bloom
as dreamers dreams
March unto June.
Desire of emotions
become as a gaze
seasons of dreams
of springtime days.
Dreamers of desire
may often become
flowers of destiny
as the shining sun.
Beaming brightly
transfixed on style
within a daylily
as a seasonal smile.
Times remembered
as a certain dream
enhanced by love
of a scenic spring.
Daylilies bloom
and look like fire
formed in a view of
dreamers of desire.

December Road

Seconds tick onwards
as seasons collide
and months conjoin
as a momentous ride.
Traveling instances
become as a stage
of a December road
from age unto age.
Winter winds blow
and enhance a dream
as time ticks away
to a seasonal scene.
Heartbeats are felt
as rhythms of gold
found within a hand
the seasons behold.
Unleashing echoes
of yesterdays stride
on a December road
time tries to hide.
Life becomes pages
of a book of time
driven upon daily
with a ageless mind.
Let the blessings sing
and carry the load
of a memory’s mind
on a December road.

Forever in Heaven

Time creates a way
of leaving memories
as heartbeats become
the deepest of seas.
Waves of emotions
we remember so well
become as reflections
endless stories to tell.
A four pawed family
leaves many traces
that last on forever
love always embraces.
The end upon flesh
is but only a path
as forever in Heaven
the future is cast.
Like leaves on trees
rustling in the wind
our memories live on
as love to transcend.
Our little Benny now
waits all the while
for us on the bridge
with a heavenly smile.
On Rainbow Bridge
he now stands true
waiting for the day
to join me and you.
He was so young
and would of been 11,
but now he lives on
forever in Heaven.

Beckoning Sunshine

Life’s living artwork
can turn into gold
as that of sunshine
that our eyes behold.
Telling true stories
as a time’s sky of ink
beckoning sunshine
the eyes have a drink.
Sipping up flavors
of colors of style
seen in the seasons
as moments compile.
Artwork of Heaven
that minutes display
beckoning sunshine
from day unto day.
Paintings transform
the days into night
as moments display
an evening’s sunlight.
Creating memories
to live in our mind
time is of artwork
beckoning sunshine.

Postcard White

Magical images
become as dreams
as seasonal moments
come alive in scenes.
A taste of beauty
that minds conceive
is a postcard white
we might perceive.
It might be in view
as pages of a book
that times might tell
we might overlook.
Yet it might be there
as a passing phase
as wintery moments
and Christmas days.
Seek for the beauty
that comes in sight
that might surely be
as a postcard white.

Bench of Snow

Sometimes we might
search for a view
as timeless moments
within thereunto.
We might get tired
and rest a while
on a bench of snow
within winter’s style.
It might seem cold
this bench you found,
but be better than
sitting on the ground.
You sit and dream
of timeless views
that a bench of snow
can surely infuse.
Thoughts of people
and pets that passed
that might seem now
as shadows that cast.
Their spirits live on
with continuous flow
while we reminisce
on a bench of snow.

Reflections Eyes

Beyond the minutes
seconds become
passing of essence
of a new day’s sun.
Seasons enlighten
the stages of time
as pages turning
to another design.
As simplistic views
of days gone by
so many reflections
become as the sky.
Seasons as windows
timeless perceptions
eyes of a moment
create connections.
Formed as a phase
that comes to life
time might seem as
blades of a knife.
Opening doorways
we might recognize
from that of time
in reflections eyes.

Sky of Fame

Heartstrings pulling
on a passing sight
might create portals
in a day and night.
Clouds up above us
might drift away
or just hang around
in blue skies array.
Famous for creating
some magical views
as a sky of fame
in whites and blues.
Changing the scenes
into a masterpiece
giving us blessings
as moments release.
Displaying scenes
as heartbeats of love
as a sky of fame
that forms up above.
It’s a gift from God
those times to attain
artwork of Heaven
as a sky of fame.

Miracles Enhance

Dreaming of scenery
that seasons behold
often shows miracles
time frames unfold.
Seen with our eyes
hearts skip a beat
as minutes surpass
in a wintery treat.
So many snowflakes
strewn all around
may give us peace
as silence is found.
Our many thoughts
get lost in a gaze
as miracles enhance
the wintertime days.
The coldest of time
becomes as a dream
living in a miracle
as a peaceful scene.
This might only be
a place within you
miracles exploding
that display a view.
They might become
as a song and dance
inside of your mind
as miracles enhance.

Ripples of Blue

Following seconds
ripples of time
minutes may gather
becoming divine.
Pools of water
might form a place
as ripples of blue
we might embrace.
Within our heart
we might be sad
for all the ripples
that we once had.
For many moments
might fade away
as ripples of blue
that turned to gray.
We’re the seasons
that gather speed
as breath is made
to plant a seed.
There may be times
in memories view
found as blessings
in ripples of blue.

for Feb 12,  2022

Today’s tomorrow
might repeat our yesterdays
if we’re not careful.

Minutes that pass by
 might become as echoes
of seasons seconds.

Life is a journey
that many become stagnant
putting off each day.

Heaven’s awaiting
as our heartbeats continue
until our last breath.

Wintertime’s snowflakes
will one day become water
as springtime arrives.

Within life and death
there is a doorway that waits
for us to enter.

The lines on a face
show the many smiles and frowns
time has given us.

Many of our needs
are only wants in disguise
amidst confusion.

The tears of a clown
are but only painted on,
for truth is beneath.

Artwork of minutes
needs some seconds to create
along with patience.

Scents of a flower
can hide behind manure
and never be smelled.

Searching for a dream
while living with a nightmare,
you might need to change.

Autumn’s leaves await
as the seasons travel through
with their part in life.

Seeding a passage
for you to one day travel
will need some know how.

Efforts of liars
are wasted upon fiction
and not what that’s true.

Becoming snowflakes
we might look very pretty,
but soon melt away.

Believing in minds
that have no common knowledge
you might be a fool.

Listing of a boat
can cause it to tip over
so steady your stride.

Our footsteps in life
are seen by ones that follow
and some peeping toms.

The length of our arms
does not promise us a grasp,
for we need to reach.

Our many pathways
may have a lot of crossroads
with some caution signs.

Sharing with others
can be very good or bad,
depending what’s shared.
