ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

I hope you have had a nice passed week.
It’s not been too bad here.  Though we
just found out that a critter has chewed
through our ceiling and gotten into our
cupboard.  It ate a bunch of flour and I
hope it got a belly ache LOL.  I’ve put a
mouse trap up there now,  so hopefully
I’ll get the little bugger.  In the next few
days I’ll see what I can do to close the
hole.  I just now sprayed some Grandpa
Gus’s Mouse Repellent in the hole and
if that don’t stop him,  then the trap will.
Anyways,  back to the journal.  We’ve
still got a lot of snow.  LOL big surprise
huh hehehe.  For the passed few days I
have been suffering a bad case of vertigo
and today is the first day that the room
didn’t start spinning when I moved or
stood to walk.  The floor even felt as if
it was moving.  It has mellowed out a
lot today.  Judy also has vertigo and
has had it a few times as bad as I had
it,  but I was not with the knowledge of
how it was until now.  I have had it but
only a weak case.  Oh well,  life goes on.
So,  what else is there to tell ya?  Well,
we are wish that the weather would make
up its darn mind.  The temperature has
been going up and down like a see saw
on steroids LOL.  I can see that down
south it is doing pretty much the same
thing.  It seems that Mother Nature is
having a hissy fit.  I think she needs a
hit of Prozac LOL.  The one thing that
I hate about winter is the part where
the snow melts and becomes slush and
then refreezes to become slick as snot
ice.  I have lost count of all the times
that I have slipped and fallen on my
backside.  Yes I have cleats,  but even
still often a sheet of ice will break off
beneath the snow and cause me to fall
on my butt and I’ve fallen on it many
times LOL.  It’s a lot better since our
landlord attached the closed in porch
onto our trailer.  Now the snow does
not cover the steps the minute you
walk out,  which was something that
caused many falls in the past.  Our
front steps were just old wooden steps
that we stepped on immediately as we
left out the front door.  Yep,  I have
lost count of how many times that I
have slipped and fallen down those
steps.  My old butt now feels the pain
from all of those falls,  but I’m happy
that those days are gone.  Though the
falls still happen when our driveway
turns into a sheet of ice and we try to
walk to the car without falling LOL.
I bought some kitty litter for when
we have trouble getting our car to
move on the ice.  I also have bought
a few bags of ice melt,  one of which
I keep in the car along with the kitty
litter 🙂  I’ve lived up here long enough
that I know what to do,  but I still get
surprised by something I didn’t know
about time to time hehehe.  There is
always something that we can learn
if we’re still alive.  The day that there
is nothing else to learn will be the
day of your very last breath.  Lessens
in life will continue on until that time.
So until then I will continue learning
all that I am able to learn and try to
make a better version of myself.  The
weather is still cold and snowy with a
temperature of 17 F degrees.  It’s not
too bad for this time of year.  Though
it’s the bouncing around from 45 to -2
that makes it hard to get accustomed
to LOL.  So,  what else is there to tell
ya?  Judy’s sister Barbara is once again
in the hospital.  This time it’s gallstones.
Please put her in your prayers.  She is
still with cancer,  but for the time the
doctors seem to have it under control
to the best of their abilities.  Life goes
on and God is still in control.  There
isn’t anything that gets passed God’s
view.  We might think things did not
happen correctly,  but somehow they
all work out in time.  Maybe not the
way that you wanted it to,  but the
way God meant for it to be.  I know
many times I have gotten angry with
God for allowing for some things to
happen in my life,  but now looking
back I see a few reasons for them,  but
some I’m still not understanding and
I may never understand.  Oh well that’s
life.  I pray that God keeps His mighty
hands over us and continues to send
many angels and allow kindly spirits to
watch over us.  We have struggles,  but
with God,  all things are possible.  Now
is a journey that begins one step at a
time in the ventures of life.  Let God
to guide you.  Thank You God for all
that You do and all You have done.
AMEN and AMEN.  Now I do believe
it is time for me to be reading back
over all that I’ve written here to see
if I can find a good word or phrase
that I can use for the title for today’s
brand new poem.  So it’s away I go
to that place of my recollection that
I like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.
I think I may have found me a decent
title near the center of my rambling
and now after checking I see that it
has not been used yet,  so used it shall
be.  Here goes…

Many Falls

Minutes emotions
times that become
the slips and slides
in each rising sun.
We might conclude
the many journeys
as that of pathways
needing gurneys.
So many stumbles
our lifetimes attain
might have lessons
filled full of pain.
Yet the doorways
that life fulfills
might be seasons
of going up hills.
Paths we’ve found
that now recalls
might hold lessons
from so many falls.

There ya go.  I hope you liked the poem
and maybe even a little of my rambling.
There isn’t much else to tell you other
than what I tell you every week and that
is,  I wrote some more poems and haiku.
Yep,  10 more poems and 22 more haiku
for all the haiku lovers out there.  I hope
you can find 1 or 2 of either or both that
you like.  Now I do believe that it’s time
for me to begin searching for that hardly
elusive off switch,  but not before I wish
you a blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  Okey
dokey,  so where can that off switch be
trying to hide this time.  It actully sucks
at hiding,  but then that is good,  being
if it was good at hiding,  it would take
me a lot longer to find it and to send
this mess LOL.  Hehehe I spy with my
1 good eye something in the shape of
a switch hiding behind my watch that
is sitting right in front of me hehehe.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Rocky
and spirits of Benny and Milo Pearce.

Ages of Days

A day of bliss
with certain style
becomes a kiss
with a little smile.
Creating sights
of winter’s dawns
days and nights
as timeless songs.
Forming scenes
that come in view
just like dreams
that seem so new.
Time becomes
as scenic displays
seasonal suns
with ages of days.

Country Snow

A wintertime sky
creates such a view
as a scenic dream
that fades into blue.
A country scene
becomes as a sight
a wintery theme
with snow of white.
 Stories are told
as timeless pages
of country snow
the winter of ages.
With just a glimpse
of scenic divine
a blue sky appears
to tell of a time.
Within the clouds
the heavens bestow
a sight of life
with country snow.

Beneath and Beyond

The life of a place
that time becomes
might be a memory
of seasonal suns.
Beneath might show
a stage that is set
real near the clouds
and soon to get wet.
Beyond might be
an awakening sky
that seems a dream
as clouds fly by.
Beneath might show
a field that’s plowed
and on beyond it
more times endowed.
A country style home
with a barn in place
beneath and beyond
for time to embrace.
A limitless viewpoint
as a seasonal song
is found in a moment
beneath and beyond.

Endless Anticipation

Shadows of a time
might reflect in a day
as endless emotion
in a wondrous array.
Anticipating pathways
journeys to conclude
that may seem endless
and hard to elude.
As mindful emotions
come into our gaze
we dream of dreams
of the distant days.
Remembered hearts
that beat with love
times that of echoes
from Heaven above.
We might anticipate
a doorway’s memory
becoming so endless
as the deep blue sea.
Yet within a strand
of our imagination
we may still have tons
of endless anticipation.

Distant Reflections

Written memoirs
within our minds
become as words
of distant times.
Reflections seen
of another day
in time sublime
now gone away.
Seasons recorded
a wondrous view
distant reflections
within thereunto.
Eyes of moments
may come alive
a single breath
that does survive.
Seeming a dream
as time’s memoir
four pawed life
from near to afar.
The time of life
becomes a heart
distant reflections
a work of art.

Early Morning

The sun rises slowly
in the morning sky
as ocean waves say
hello and goodbye.
Sands are deposited
in morning’s scene
sometimes exposing
a so scenic dream.
Life is as a stage
in a book of time
morning to evening
in memories mind.
Early morning seas
that crash ashore
waves upon waves
to last forevermore.
Seasons of seconds
the minutes become
wave after wave
as a timeless drum.
Recorded within us
heartbeats adorning
seen as a turnstile
life’s early morning.

Becoming Shadows

Looking at pictures
photos of a day
so many reflections
become a little gray.
The seasons of old
burn in my mind
as a fire of desire
of shadows of time.
Pages are turned
with time adhered
some as a memory
pages dog eared.
My home long ago
is now just a dream
as a living painting
a wonderful scene.
My mom and me
in a distant place
now is but a time
I truly embrace.
Held deep within
as a dream world
it all comes alive
as time’s unfurled.
Within a picture
are highs and lows
that are memories
becoming shadows.

Momentary Thoughts

Thinking of a time
that’s now long gone
seems as an illusion
of a sad sad song.
Life might display
a bench of words
that times memories
most surely infers.
Sung as a heartbeat
with a breath of air
echoes of a season
become as a prayer.
Written in the mind
as a smiling face
time becomes stories
with a scenic taste.
Transfixing scenery
of a common sight
 may make thoughts
to shine in the light.
The value of time
is so often just lost
then found again in
momentary thoughts.

Snowy Tracks

Tracking through
life is a trail
as roads of time
in scenic detail.
Wintery scenes
become a gaze
on snowy tracks
of passing days.
Minutes gather
becoming styles
on paths we find
to certain smiles.
The view is seen
as metal rails
in snowy tracks
as timeless tales.
Driven words
become the sight
within a phase
of winter white.
Then as minutes
come to pass
time remembers
snowy tracks.

Sunlit Clouds

Living scenery
a picturesque sky
becomes artwork
as clouds fly by.
Lit up by the sun
as evening avails
clouds up above
are scenery’s sails.
A skylight ocean
becomes the view
as clouds of time
sail on through.
Seeming as fire
in an evening sky
the sunlit clouds
say their goodbye.
Heading to night
as they fade away
into the darkness
the end of day.
Moments live on
as seconds arouse
becoming dreams
of sunlit clouds.

Haiku
for Feb 19,  2022

Seconds and minutes
create chances for changes
that we need to use.

Answers to questions
are often followed with sighs
of ones disbelief.

Fields of perception
become windows and doorways
to live in our mind.

Patterns of a day
often recreate themselves
and go unnoticed.

Ones with skyward vision
find stars in the galaxy
filled with breath of life.

Thoughts can become life,
so take care on how you think,
or you’ll find regret.

Essence of a dream
can become our reality
if it’s meant to be.

Time can be funny
as minutes form illusions
seconds hid within.

Winter winds of time
can become a memory
as snow enters in.

Various doorways
have chances for much better
and some just for worse.

The length of worry
can change how days come to pass,
as worrying wins.

Now is but a time
that will come and then be gone
leaving memories.

Traveling mindsets
can find indecisiveness
amidst the journey.

Oceans of thinking
can find depth within a thought
and end up drowning.

Shadows of a day
might expose themselves in you
as you remember.

Limitless moments
find a way into our hearts
as the ghosts of time.

Heaven holds blessings
awaiting to be fulfilled
as we cross over.

Entering tunnels
you might not see a light at end
because it is night.

Years might pass us by
leaving only a glimmer
of what we’ve been through.

So many doorways
are but only as portals
for us to walk passed.

Thinking of a place
that you remember so well,
you might see it gray.

On beyond the sky
lives another view of life
that some don’t believe.
