Safe and Sound

Hello my friends

I’ll make this week’s journal short and
sweet LOL.  I wish all of you out there
that celebrate Easter a wonderful blessed
day.  Not much has gone on around here
other than snowing Wednesday.  Yep I
said snowing.  It often continues snowing
on into April,  but I think it might finally
be done.  It could surprise me hehehehe,
but the temps now are in the 50’s and by
next week it’s supposed to be in the 60’s
a minute beginning this coming
but we shall see.   So long as it doesn’t
get up in the upper 70’s and in the 80’s
I do not care.  I do not miss the Texas
springs and summers LOL.  It’s still a
bit white outside as the snow has yet to
have melted,  but it will in time as the
temperatures warm up a bit.  Judy went
with her sister Barbara last Wednesday
up to Presque Isle for one of Barbara’s
physical checkups and they ran into a
lot of snow and freezing rain of which
I showed Judy on the radar that said
that it was coming,  but they still went
and ended up running into all of the
freezing rain as well as the snow when
returning home and had to stop and
stay at their sister Trudy’s house that
night and then come home Thursday.
LOL,  Nobody listens to me.  Oh well
she made it home safe and sound and
that’s what matters.  It’s a beautiful
day today.  Judy went to spend Easter
with her family,  but I did not feel like
going, on top of that I would rather be
able to see my side of the family for a
change,  but I guess that is not going
to happen.  Oh well,  Rocky and me
are enjoying the day.  Of course he’s
in here with me at the moment,  but
he has been going outside often and
I am fairly sure it was not to potty on
each trip LOL.  He loves the snow and
I’m sure that he will miss it when it’s
all melted away.  He hates the rain and
it’s an act of congress to get him to go
out to potty in the rain hehehehe.  He
hates getting his paws wet and I don’t
blame him for feeling that way.  I hate
to go outside without shoes in the rain,
but for some reason don’t mind doing
it in snow.  Yet of course I do not stay
outside long in the snow barefooted 🙂
My tootsies start getting cold LOL.
There have many times that I’ve gone
outside to take pictures and been in
my socks or house shoes when it was
below 30 and it wasn’t too bad,  but
the snow would stick to my socks and
it would fill up my house shoes so that
I would have to take them off at the
front door and bang the snow off of
either one I was wearing at the time 🙂
I guess while Judy’s gone I’ll finish the
laundry and maybe even bake some
chocolate chip cooking for when she
gets home.  I hear Rocky walking up
behind me.  I bet he’s about ready to
go back outside hehehe.  God’s been
good to us.  He has kept His mighty
hand over us protecting us as well as
keeping many angels and kindly spirits
watching over us.  We may not have
all that we want,  but we have all that
we need.  Thank You God for never
wavering in Your ways.  Thank You
for all that You have done and surely
all that You will do.  Amen and Amen.
Now I do believe it is time for me to
be reading back over all that I have
written here to see if I can find a good
word or phrase that I can use for the
title for Today’s new poem.  So,  it’s
away I go,  to that little place of my
recollection that I always like to call
have found a decent title near a third
of way down from the beginning in my
rambling and now after checking I see
that it hasn’t been used yet,  so used it
shall be today.  Here goes…

Safe and Sound

Seeking solitude
of a moment’s sight
might become as
a moment of fright.
Seek the blessings
from heaven above
be safe and sound
with all God’s love.
Search your heart
and find a place
so safe and sound
with warm embrace.
Jesus is waiting
for you to unwind
and seek for the joy
of His own design.
Don’t let your life
to be contaminated
with wants of things
the times originated.
Seek for the footing
of true solid ground
with God up above
so safe and sound.

Okey dokey, so there ya go.  I hope you
like the poem and maybe even a little of
my rambling.  I guess there’s not much
else to tell you other than what I tell you
every week and that is, I wrote some more
poems and haiku.  Yep, 10 more poems
and 22 more haiku for all of the haiku
lovers out there.  I hope you can find 1
or 2 of either or both that you like 🙂
Now I believe it’s time for me to begin
my search for that hardly elusive off
switch,  but not before I wish you all a
Happy Easter and a peaceful blessings
filled week.  Remember,  Jesus loves
you and we do too.  Now,  where can
that ornery off switch be trying to hide
this time LOL as if it ever manages to
stay hidden hehehe?  Rocky is outside
now,  so I need to check on him and
then I’ll come back to see if I can find
that silly off switch.  Well the boy isn’t
ready to come back in so it’s on with
the search.  Hmm,  I think I see a little
movement behind my tiny alergy relief
bottle.  Yep,  there ya are once again
busy and not staying hidden hehehehe.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Rocky
and spirits of Benny and Milo Pearce.

Ripples of Words

Minutes remember
times and places
seasons of scenes
fragments of traces.
So many moments
might fade away
as ripples of words
of a seasonal day.
Take a little trip
to a place in time
that stands so true
within your mind.
It might be a pet
that’s now a dream
as a distant array
of a flowing stream.
Timeless memories
are formed to be
ripples of words
within our history.
Heartfelt emotions
as a flock of birds
flutter in our minds
as ripples of words.

Clouds of Illusions

Within and without
life continues on
beating the rhythm
of a lifetime song.
Sung as a breeze
as the clouds fly by
time is as echoes
in a true blue sky.
Scenes come to life
as a heavenly door
giving the scenery
for us to explore.
Spirits up above us
seem to transform
sights we remember
the seconds adorn.
God filled emotions
can give infusions
blessings seeming as
clouds of illusions.

Years Displayed

Time gives intervals
of snow and rain
seasons transpired
as life to attain.
Years of creations
become as a glance
a song to remember
and dance to dance.
Snowy dimensions
may cross our path
becoming shadows
our times may cast.
Yet within the midst
of life’s lemonade
the blessings live on
in years displayed.

Memories Dreams

Within our heart
holds many a view
memories saying
how do you do.
Words of essence
scenes we recall
become as stories
that stand out tall.
Many reflections
live on in times
thriving within us
and in our minds
Time paints scenes
that come alive
often in shadows
of evening’s drive.
Scenic conclusions
are found within
as many echoes
of time and again.
Heartfelt blessings
live on in scenes
giving us smiles as
memories dreams.

Early Morning Sights

Replenishing a breath
in a early morning way
is as moments breathe
to begin another day.
Unlocking living views
that day will surely see
awakened by a breath
a moment given free.
There might be a story
words within the sand
sent to us from Heaven
we may not understand.
Time’s inside a window
and living as a dream
seeming like the waves
within an ocean scene.
Life is like sandcastles
created for our view
as ins and outs of time
the moments do accrue.
Giving many blessings
within days and nights
seasons full of magic
in early morning sights.

Flowing Thru

Many of our days
become as streams
flowing bestowing
so many things.
Sights of a journey
flowing thereunto
giving us moments
confusion to view.
Blessings as water
that form a path
leaving our vision
as shadows to cast.
Open the doorway
from old to anew
and let the answers
come flowing thru.

Living Remembering

Minds upon bridges
may cross thereunto
and see such sights
as a wintery view.
Timeless reflections
are seen by the way
as a frozen river
of a distant display.
It might be a dream
or sentimental time
living remembering
an awesome design.
Find in the minutes
the magical views
seasoned seasons
that life does infuse.
Open up your eyes
and see the sights
blessings from God
that time ignites.
Then try to imagine
welcoming spring
as you continue on
living remembering.

Yesterdays of Life

We might see a field
of a timeless green
with hills by the way
as an elegant dream.
So many yesterdays
might form a path
across to tomorrow
as seconds pass fast.
Seek for the glimmer
of a true work of art
in yesterdays of life
that moments impart.
Seasons in the sun
filled with memories
that many remember
as a passing breeze.
Look deep within you
and locate a page
with good memoirs
of a seasonal stage.
Let loose heartache
and lessen your strife
and find the blessings
in yesterdays of life.

Life Survives

When time passes
it leaves a trace
of a time of mind
as a scenic lace.
Displaying sights
woven as a scene
when moving on
seeming a dream.
Life can become
as picture frames
hung on the walls
that time attains.
Seeming so alive
as scenes combine
poured out in life
as country wine.
Maybe as a breeze
a breath of desire
time can become
as a seasons fire.
Burning churning
each time arrives
within memories
as life survives.

Our Window

Many may ponder
and look thereabout
seeking for windows
of in ways and out.
Searching for truth
of a time’s display,
but yet only seeing
a season’s array.
Smelling the scenes
of a window’s view
and getting a taste
of a seasonal dew.
Within our window
we might see snow
or limbs of trees
swaying to and fro.
Breezes are heard
as a gust of wind
breathing of life
as a scenic friend.
Seen from our place
watching wind blow
we can find peace
out our window.

Threads of illusions
can get caught inside our minds
if we don’t wake up.

Change is imminent
even if we do not try,
for life continues.

Seeking a rain cloud
you might find many raindrops
in a passing storm.

When searching our hearts
we might find our alikeness
in many others.

Glancing at the ground
you may see some forms or life
that were always there.

Yesterday’s hardships
can become today’s lessons
if we don’t give up.

Finding your patience
allows seconds to conjoin
and help you to grow.

Many times actions
can be misinterpreted
seen in the wrong light.

Today is today
and tomorrow’s tomorrow
so focus on now.

When seen out in sea
ships might look like they’re sinking
when below the waves.

Shadows of people
might resemble some others,
but nothing like them.

The minds of many
often have hidden viewpoints
they’re afraid to show.

Years of illusions
can create sadness in time
if you live in them.

Heat of a moment
might become regret later,
so don’t act rashly.

Wind within a life
can become a tornado
if out of control.

Trials that we come by
often have teaching lessons
that we learn later.

Found in our footsteps
might be ones we know not of,
but yet they follow.

Impatience teaches
when you end up in trouble
for rushing a time.

Gazing at the stars
there might be a few moving
that were satellites.

Finding your footing
might be followed with falling
when you slip again.

Shimmering sunsets
can display true harmony
on an ocean’s waves.

Testing somebody
might backfire like dynamite
exploding regret.
