ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

I hope you had a nice passed week and
safe Veteran’s Day.  Judy and I did well.
We had a couple of doctor visits for her
to go to last week and they did well.  I
gave an effort to drive her to Bangor,
but my legs would only let me drive for
near 30 miles till they began hurting and
I was afraid I was going to cause a wreck
so Judy drove the rest of the way.  I wish
my body wasn’t in such bad shape,  but it
is what it is LOL.  The weekend went well
for us.  I made pancakes for breakfast
this morning :).  Hopefully the new PC
chair that I bought for Judy will be here
Monday.  It should of gotten here last
Wednesday.  I bought 2,  being my chair
was literally broken and was tilting to
the left badly.  If I had not kept trying
to balance myself on it,  I would have
ended up in the floor.  Judy’s chair is
worn out and making all kind of noises
and that is why I bought her one too 🙂
Plus it’s sort of a belated birthday gift,
being her birthday was Nov 6 🙂  We
went and got take out for her birthday.
She got Chinese and I got pizza LOL.
Judy begins chemo in a couple weeks
and it’s only for 4 sessions of it with
immunotherapy for a good while after.
She’s getting around better and better
with each passing day.  We’re going
grocery shopping
Monday for a few
necessities.  I’ve been spoiling her a
lot since she was released from the
hospital a couple of weeks ago and
I like spoiling her 🙂 and I know she
would do the very same for me. I love
her.  She’s my very best friend.  Life
since we met has been up and down,
but nothing like it had been before.
Nobody has a perfect no problems at
all life.  We all have our own struggles.
Some try to make like they have the
perfect life,  but behind closed doors
there is another world.  Judy and I
try our best to not carry anger into
the days ahead,  by letting it go and
apologizing and understanding that
we all make mistakes.  Often in our
home it’s hearing wrongly being that
we are both hard of hearing LOL 🙂
I can’t hear thunder out of my right
ear and my left ear is getting worse
with each passing day.  It’s inherited.
My dad’s dad went deaf and my dad
went deaf and then there’s me hehehe.
I miss being able to hear such things
as music in stereo.  Oh well,  I just
think of it as a reliving in the 50’s
and 60’s when most was in mono 🙂
and not the disease LOL.  I make do
with what I have.  God’s still watching
over us as are many angels and kindly
spirits.  I know I still fail miserably at
doing good,  but I keep on giving
my all.  I pray that you have God in
your heart and that He is with you
always in your endeavors throughout
life.  Thank You Father God for all
that you have done for us and surely
all that You will do.  Amen and amen.
Now I do believe it’s time for me to
be reading back over all that I have
written here to see if I can find me a
good word or phrase that I can use
for the title for today’s brand new
poem.  So,  it’s away I go,  to that lil
place of my recollection that I always
like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.
LOL I went up to the beginning and
read down and came upon a word
to use as a title for today’s new poem
near the beginning of my rambling
that I was sure that I had used in the
past,  but NOPE :).  So it’ll do…..
Here goes…

Hopefully

Windows of decisions
become reflections of time
of what we wish hopefully
to be good paths to find.
We might find bitterness
within the moments pages,
but hopefully it will heal
and be better for the ages.
As our youth rides bicycles
we might find some paths
filled with some potholes
of bad shadows to cast.
It’s a learning experience
that life gives to read
the words of a lifetime
to help us each succeed.
God gives many lessons
allowing us to travel thru
hopefully we’ll remember
from the old to anew.
So use your memory well
as time runs its course
and hopefully in time
you’ll have less remorse.
Seek for the blessings
for now to surely see
and keep your heart alive
living truly hopefully.

Well,  there ya go.  I hope you liked the
poem and maybe even a little bit of my
rambling.  So it looks as though I have
told you all there is to tell aside from
what I tell you pert near every week and
that is,  I wrote some more poems and
haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more poems and 22
more haiku for all the haiku lovers out
there.  I hope that you can find 1 or 2 of
either or both that you like.  Now with
that said,  I reckon it’s time for me to
begin my search for that hardly elusive
off switch,  but not before I wish you all
a truly blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  Okey
dokey,  so where oh where is that silly
off switch hiding?  Where oh where can
it be LOL???  Hmm,  I think I saw a
bit of movement from behind my little
emergency lantern that I have sitting
on one of my PC towers.  Yep,  I see
ya.  If you would quit trying to turn
the light on,  you might stay hidden,
but it seems you cannot sit still and
not fidget with everything you see.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Rocky
and spirits of Benny and Milo Pearce.

Behind the Veil

Flowing as water
time might prevail
displaying moments
with stories to tell.
Scenes within life
might seem to shine
as the veil is lifted
within our lifetime.
Exposing the sights
a mind had hidden
showing the beauty
that God has given.
Life is a doorway
for us to walk thru
often with blessings
for me and for you.
So use time wisely
and let God prevail
to show what all
was behind the veil.

Ages of The Past

Seeming an illusion
the moments may fade
becoming the shadows
the seasons have made.
Yet with our loved ones
we often fail to shine
as the ages of the past
may fall from our mind.
The hearts still live
in souls that passed on
still beating the rhythm
of moments long gone.
Don’t forget the times
that you had together,
for the spirits continue
to remember forever.
Talk to their spirits
with love that will last
and not just shadows
of ages of the past.

Thru Our Mind

Windows of scenes
might often portray
as stages of stories
in a timeless display.
Echoing heartbeats
as a memory’s style
sung thru our mind
as a musical smile.
Thriving as blessings
moments may seem
the continuing ages
sought as a dream.
Blessings abundant
are what we recall
as a point and time
still stands out tall.
Times from the past
may surely entwine
with now and today
seen thru our mind.

Leaves of Hearts

Glimmers of times
can often be found
within our memoirs
we’ve written down.
Words as shadows
that times become
with leaves of hearts
in a moment’s sun.
So many minutes
that we tossed away
became as seconds
of a timeless array.
Heartbeats beating
in a drummer’s style
creating the rhythms
of a endless smile.
Moments emotions
become our dreams
as we look deeply
in shadowy scenes.
Love gives echoes
that time imparts,
friends and family
as leaves of hearts.

Time Prevails

Thru an evening
time might seem
a faded window
within a stream.
In the distance
we may perceive
minutes passing
as shadows eve.
Seemless pages
a book of time
hearts might find
a scenic design.
Life’s as echoes
of a distant array
prevailing upon
a living display.
Heaven’s images
as timeless tales
within photos
as time prevails.

Breezes Blow Thru

Life is mysterious
as it comes into view
displaying moments
of the old and anew.
Creating its breezes
as passing thoughts
blowing perceptions
so often with a frost.
Giving us viewpoints
to exist in our eyes,
life found below us
or the magical skies.
We might see a tree
stood all by itself
up above the others
on an earthly shelf.
It catches scenery
in a day to day view
often that’s created
as breezes blow thru.

Life and its Flow

Transfixed on rivers
time might flow thru
leaving destinations
with waters of blue.
We might not notice
a time around bends
flowing with currents
of hurricane winds.
For below the waters
the minds of hearts
might tell the stories
their lifetime imparts.
Becoming a rhythm
with rippling sounds
we might hear rivers
of time that abounds.
Don’t allow moments
to make you sour
for we’re all flowing
with limited power.
God gives us help
when He knows true
what you’re needing
to make a better you.
Held within a mind
continuing to grow
we can let the waters
be life and its flow.

Picture Portrait

Remembering moments
so timeless and vast
a picture helps discover
shadows of the past.
Hearts get emotional
with the rhythm of time
as life’s picture portrait
becomes breath of mind.
Breathing in existance
with our lungs of desire
ones taking photographs
often light times afire.
Becoming the essence
of a blessing from God
photos become memoirs
an astounding applaud.
Resolving the emotions
of a moment at end
as life’s picture portrait
of family and friend.

Country Equations

Passing life’s scenes
time often unveils
so many equations
of country details.
We might not see
the greater sights,
but within pictures
our heart delights.
Forming a window
that we look thru
country equations
a wonderful view.
Scenes come alive
as the magic begins
country equations
time comprehends.

Passages Become

Down country roads
my eyes perceive
sights within time
seconds may weave.
Woven in like fabric
as life’s storybook
the passages become
as moments to look.
Seen as a blessing
that lifetimes reveal
our eyes might find
a time’s windowsill.
It may have scenery
that times transcend
found in the clouds
of a passing wind.
Yet looking closer
you might find signs
of a living display
with scenic designs.
Blessings unlimited
from God’s only Son
give us the moments
as passages become.

Haiku
for Nov 11,  2023

Words get provoking
when they’re heard out of context
and not how they’re meant.

Changing direction
does not guaranty your stride
that still might be wrong.

When judging quickly
you might not know the true facts
and find much regret.

Yesterday’s journeys
might become today’s lessons
some good and some bad.

Forming conclusions
without knowing all the facts
can destroy friendships.

The sight of ourselves
can often appear as ghost
when not expected.

The fences we build
to keep ones from entering
can prevent true love.

Years of decisions
might become sad memories
if chose unwisely.

Throughout our journeys
we might find many crossroads
that cause confusion.

Jungles as mindsets
often have a lot of vines
that they can choose from.

Mowing winter’s grass
might look really ignorant
with snow on the ground.

Cherishing fragments
of material possessions
can leave you empty.

Harboring anger
causes your happiness to die
seeming just like Hell.

Summertime’s passing
leaves autumn in its journey
that ends in winter.

Seeking ones heartbeat
to become conjoined with yours
might be just a dream.

Heaven holds true peace
as it awaits our passage
to leave these bodies.

Trivial moments
can overwhelm importance
and lose perspective.

The shadows of time
might not look like what they were
as we remember.

The days we recall
may often be distorted
inside of our minds.

Beyond clouds of life
a blue sky may be waiting
to one day appear.

The threads of our mind
can become entangled times
with confusing thoughts.

Cheering on others
can become as great karma
that returns to you.
