The Abundance

Hello my friends

I hope that you’re doing well.  If not then I
hope things get better for ya.  We’re doing
fairly well as my dear Judy’s collapsed lung
is no longer collapsed and she is doing good.
She was scheduled for Chemo Wednesday of
last week,  but the weather had other ideas 🙂
and so she called and canceled making a new
appointment for this Tuesday.  We had a bad
snow storm come thru last Wednesday and
there was no way she was driving to Presque
Isle in that at 7 AM so we went back to bed.
It’s been snowing a little bit off and on today.
The weather is nothing near as bad as it has
been in the passed years.  This has been one
of the mildest winters that I have seen up here.
I do though miss the abundance of snow that
we have gotten in the past,  but I don’t miss
the ice and having to leave the water dripping
so that it does not freeze.  Of course winter is
far from over,  so we could still have some of
the old time winter weather to come our way.
Yep,  we’ve still got a few months of winter
and they could have a few surprises waiting
to be seen and felt LOL.  I noticed yesterday
when I did my last poem for the week that
I have done exactly 4000 poetry pictures.  Of
course I’ve actually written near 13,000 poems,
but 4000 of them are poetry pictures.  I write
a lot huh hehehe.  My thinker never ceases to
be thinking and so therefore I’ll continue with
my poetry writing till my thinker burns out or
dries up :).  It’s 6:30 PM now and 25 F degrees
with a few light snow showers.  Judy’s over on
her computer playing Candy Crush Soda Saga.
She plays that game when she’s not crocheting
or watching TV with me,  but she does ever so
often crochet while watching TV hehehe.  She
made pancakes
for breakfast today.  I usually
fix us breakfast,  but I guess she thought she’d
give me a break.  She did as I normally do and’
made enough pancakes for 3 days,  so we have
pancakes for the next couple of days.  I am so
very glad that her lung healed.  But of course
she still has the cancer within it,  but at least
now she can breathe without having to have
the drain attached to her chest.  Now to take
care of the remainder of cancer that they were
unable to remove when they did a lobectomy.
LOL I did a spell check in my Outlook express
and it tried to change the spelling of lobectomy
to lobotomy which I’m pretty sure they did not
do at the hospital LOL.  I don’t think they are
doing lobotomies anymore.  Anyways,  I am
happy to say that Judy is doing well.  God has
kept His powerful hands over us protecting us
and helping us thru things that we could never
do alone.  I pray that you have God in your
life and are sharing His Word with others thru
your actions.  I have always said,  words are
cheap,  for actions speak much louder and tell
more of the truth about ones life.  May the days
ahead be filled with blessings uncountable and
you share them with others.  Thank You Father
God for always doing for us what we are unable
to do for ourselves.  Amen and Amen.  Now I
do believe it’s time for me to be reading back
over all that I’ve written here to see if I can find
me a good word or phrase that I can use for the
title of today’s brand new poem.  So,  it’s away
I go to that little place of my recollection that I
always like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.  It’s
looking as though I may have stumbled upon a
fairly nice title about a third of the way down
from the beginning of my rambling and now
after checking I see that I have not used it yet,
so used it shall be.  Here goes…

The Abundance

Life can be a whirlwind
as times come and go
creating all the doorways
each direction they blow.
An abundance of echoes
come back as reflections
that we might remember
as timeless connections.
Find the many rhythms
that your life has within
and let them to become
as your true living wind.
Blowing as a hurricane
into others lives each day
helping them that struggle
to most surely find a way.
Don’t let your memories
to be but only of the bad
for surely there is good
within something you had.
Look and find blessings
in what life did compile
and see the abundance
that can give you a smile.

Well,   there ya go.  I hope you liked the poem
and maybe even a bit of my rambling hehehe.
There’s not much else to tell ya other that what
I tell you nearly every week and that is.  I wrote
some more poems and haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more
poems with 1 of them being sort of Christmassy.
I also wrote 22 more haiku for all of the haiku
lovers out there.  I hope you can find 1 or 2 of
either or both that you like.  Now I do believe it
is time for me to begin my search for that hardly
elusive off switch,  but not before I wish you a
blessings filled week.  Remember,  Jesus loves
you and we do too.  Now,  where can that ornery
off switch be trying to hide this week LOL as if
it actually has ever put forth any effort in hiding.
Looking all around my computers and keyboards
and no sign of that thing,  but HEY,  what is that
my eyes have locked upon?  That couldn’t be it
trying to hide as well as peek from behind my lil
9 volt battery charger LOL.  Yeppers,  I see ya
you silly thing.  I almost missed you being that
you are the same color white as my charger,  but
your moving around sort of gave ya away LOL.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Rocky
and spirits of Benny and Milo Pearce.

Time after Time

Yesterday’s sunsets
can create dreams
while time after time
is just passing scenes.
Now might be bland
as it passes you by
while time after time
may be a magical sky.
Seasons may ascend
into a dreamer’s heart
while time after time
becomes works of art.
Formed from seasons
of Heaven’s design
becoming as portals
within time after time.

Stages of Winter

Seconds will gather
and create a style
as a stage of an age
of a wintery while.
Forming paintings
as artwork of desire
the stages of winter
that many admire.
Creating memories
of times long ago
found within stages
of wintertime snow.
True living blessings
in our memories
that flow like rivers
into minds of seas.
We might remember
a person or place
as stages of winter
with warm embrace.
Scenes come to life
that we remember
formed from echoes
of stages of winter.

Soon To Freeze

A river of water
on a wintery day
flows until time
takes flow away.
It might become
as a glassy sight
a wintery essence
in snow of white.
Seen high above
may be a scene
a walking bridge
above the stream.
A icy perception
in a wintery style
displayed as life
the times compile.
Creating moments
a season’s appeal
into that of time
ice might conceal.
Hidden beneath
a wintery breeze
might be a river
so soon to freeze.

Bluebonnet Memories

I clearly remember
those days long ago
bluebonnet scenes
that put on a show.
So many miles away
I remember so well
taking the pictures
with stories to tell.
Bluebonnet scenery
found all around
here and there seen
in a tiny Texas town.
My wife and I saw
so many that day
bluebonnet sights
in a wondrous array.
There were so many
as flowers of design
bluebonnet magic
that time did refine.
Seeming as waters
of oceans and seas
these are now our
bluebonnet memories.

An Evening Sun

Days found counted
might seem to fade
leaving the shadows
of life’s lemonade.
Showcasing scenes
that come into view
as an evening sun
says how do you do.
Creating perceptions
of now and again
so often as winter
that times transcend.
Formed as dreamers
find nighttime begun
as heartbeats beating
in an evening sun.

Travels of Passion

Life as a snowflake
creates its own path
often as a viewpoint
of shadows we cast.
Roads of a doorway
may open real wide
taking our memories
for a timeless ride.
Watching the sights
become old to anew
creating the stories
of a passing view.
It might seem odd
and a bit old fashion
as life continues on
in travels of passion.

Sea of Decision

Wading in moments
you might find waves
some as our emotions
reflecting the days.
Decisions like ripples
create what we find
found within the seas
of moments in time.
Flowing like memoirs
in the seasonal styles
with scents of salt air
that go on for miles.
Our many decisions
create pathways of life
some as our blessings
and some with strife.
That is why choices
that we’ve been given
need to be discerned
in a sea of decision.

Stood in Time

We might be seen
just standing around
watching the scenery
go round and round.
There might be times
that we splash about
creating the places
we scream and shout.
Yet some may never
see all that we are
as their stood in time
from near to afar.
We may be but only
with an inner smile
that some may see as
perceptions denial.
Seeing aloneness
not a smiling mind
and not seeing peace
in life stood in time.

Remembered Well

Lights within our minds
are of a Christmassy glow
lit up and shining bright
as a Christmastime show.
Creating the perspectives
of a wondrous December
with bright shining lights
of moments we remember.
The essence of blessings
instilled within our hearts
brings forth the reflections
of moments work of art.
Even within the shadows
there are stories to tell
told of many blessings
that time’s remembered well.

Icy Doorways

Driving thru December
to January’s door
time creates artwork
for our eyes to explore.
Scenes in form of ice
on wintertime’s trees
glisten just like crystals
in a seasonal breeze.
Seeming like a dream
into a world of white
time forms a pathway
to a glorious sight.
So don’t let the scenery
to pass you right by
slow down and enjoy it
let its beauty apply.
God gives His very best
to help with our days
that may be the beauty
of some icy doorways.

Lessons we come by
can often seem as mistakes
yet teach us real well.

Yesterdays of life
might be as many regrets,
but they were needed.

Now is perspective
with how that we may see it
as it gives its view.

Years that we come by
might have many reflections
that look distorted.

Changing your mindset
can either make life better
or make it much worse.

Moments we recall
can become out of focus
as time does its thing.

Living for others
might become your destruction
as others may leave.

Looking for better
you might find you had the best
when viewing the past.

Regretting what’s done
does nobody any good,
for it has been done.

Learning from the past
needs us to remember things
other than the good.

Walking in a storm
might find you losing your way,
but God is with us.

The lines on a road
show us where we are to drive
like the word of God.

Reality lives
in shadows of deception
waiting to be seen.

Many ask questions
about things not important
just to be talking.

Hanging onto stuff
can create silly anchors
that we should let go.

Arriving someplace
does not mean time has ended,
but time to find facts.

Tearing down the walls
that you have built up in life
can give you a breath.

Hearing an echo
of what that sounds just like you,
means you spoke loudly.

Tormenting people
for what they did by mistake,
does not correct it.

Pointing at someone
saying they are not worthy
points also at you.

When hitting life’s bumps
learn to find lessons in them
to help you move on.

Challenges in time
often paint many pictures
of winning or loss.

Tomorrow’s thinking
can mess up thoughts for today
losing sight of now.

Threads of a moment
can often become the screws
that might come unscrewed.

Seeking for true love
in places such as a church
you might find liars.

Sense of well being
needs a lot of common sense
to find out the truth.

Years of emotions
can form many disasters
within our thinking.

Heading down dirt roads
we often find ourselves lost
needing directions.

Time is a viewpoint
that we might look at wrongly
due to our hurry.

Times of memories
are as autumn and the leaves
that we remember.

Illusions in clouds
can often become alive
deep within our minds.

Choosing a pathway
you might notice a few things
that may change your mind.

Yesterdays journeys
matter not in now today
unless they are used.

The thrill of a place
might only be the timing,
for time makes moments.

We become stronger
riding out the storms of life,
but there are some tolls.

Shadows of our dreams
often reflect in moments
that others may live.

Chilling out from life
letting time to do its thing
will help you find peace.

Distant illusions
might become reality
and bite us real hard.

Sheltering your truth
due to fear of ones knowing
can prevent friendship.

Looking too deeply
into the depths of others
you might lose some friends.

Trading honesty
for lies for a better life
only destroys it.

The walls that we build
might not only stop bad things,
but also good things.

Today offers time
to change our life’s perspective
and change our journey.

Allowing a breath
within a moment in time
also allows life.
