ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

Well it snowed all night last night and we got snowed in.
Judy had to call in and tell them she couldn’t make it to
work. I had to keep opening our screen door off and on
all night to keep us from literally being snowed in hehehe.
Our car is literally buried. I’ve gotta get out there some
time today and begin digging to see if I can find it LOL!!
I sure hope the roof of our house doesn’t cave in. There’s
gotta be a ton of snow up there hehehe. Those of you that
are receiving this in stationary format will get an bit of an
idea of what I’m talking about by the pictures I put in the
stationary hehehe. Anyways, Judy came home sick again
Saturday so it was just as well her stay home and try to
get well. I hope she does soon. Her pay checks are sure
getting small. Oh well, life goes on. I’m writing this while
she’s sleeping. I might fix us some breakfast as soon as I
finish writing this. I know I’m getting hungry. She said
she wants pancakes and sausage, so that’s what I’ll fix 🙂
Our landlord finally got our driveway plowed after him
getting stuck for a while in a snowbank hehehe. Yet he
could only plow up to the back of our car which leaves
me the rest of it to do with a snow shovel. Nope, we ain’t
got no snow blower. Can’t afford one. Guess I’ll be out
there shoveling a little later today. Hehe Judy’s watching
cartoons in bed. On second glance it looks like she has
nodded off to sleep again. It’s simply beautiful outside,
but me thinks my view on it will change drastically as soon
as I begin my chores of digging us out hehehe! I still love
to watch it snow and see the trees glisten in the sunlight
as snow is alit upon their limbs. The scene is a wondrous
one that seems as magic. God has a way with art that
only He can create. He is the greatest artist in the world,
for mankind only attempts to copy it. Lord God is the King
of the panoramic view. So I reckon it’s about time for me
to begin my little venture back through all I’ve written here
to see if I can find a good word or phrase that might work
as a good title for today’s brand new poem. So it’s away
I go to that place that I like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.
I think I found a good title in the very last of my rambling.
Now let’s see what I can do with it hehehe. Here goes!!

Panoramic View

Within the distance
of here thereunto
I see God’s paintings
of a panoramic view.
Scenes oh so wondrous
and oh so intense
that they embellish
my every days sense.
Panoramic views
from here to afar
even with the snow
that covers my car.
Photographic moments
that I try to make
only grasp sort of
what my eyes partake.
The panoramic view
of God’s daily scenes
are so much greater
than anyone’s dreams.
So take a look now
at what all you find
and let the panoramic
live in your mind.

I hope you enjoyed my rambling and maybe even the poem.
Yeppers we be snowed in, but I shall rectify that in a little
bit. The county snow plows finally got the road cleared 🙂
I didn’t hear them at all last night, but then they would have
had the dickens of a time trying to see where the road was.
It was snowing really heavy. At least I can open our front
door thank God hehehe. I got a picture of my neighbor just
a bit ago trying to dig out his front door. I think they work
at night and were not at home hehehe. Anyways, it’s time
for me to cease my writing here and tell ya what I tell you
every week and that is, I wrote some more poetry hehehe.
Actually I wrote it early this morning while I was keeping
tabs on the snow and keeping our front door accessible 🙂
Yes of course I wrote some more haiku. Yep, I did it all
this morning early. 10 more poems with 5 of them wintry
Christmassy styles and 22 more haiku. I hope you enjoy
some of them. Well, it’s time for me to be searching for
that old off switch, but not before I wish you a blessed
week filled with joy. Remember, Jesus loves you and
we do too. Now to find that off switch hehehehehehehe.
Found it stuck in a crevice of snow at our front door 🙂
See ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

P.S, One poem is sort of about me and Judy entitled
Some Fine Thoughts… We used to spend a lot of
time down at Port Aransas Texas 🙂

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehe 🙂

Made A View

In the nighttime
sights are found
such as snowflakes
on the ground.
Scenes are flourished
with the sight
gathered strongly
through the night.
Snowflakes falling
floating free
landing here now
gracefully.
On our doorstep
is now seen
that of mornings
winters dream.
Fluffy white
from here to there
in the night
most everywhere.
Flakes assorted
large and small
land and cover
over all.
In the morning
I find true
how the snowflakes
made a view.

Sometimes Seasons

Seasons come
and seasons go
here and there
and to and fro.
Seasons change
the views we see
here and there
through history.
Some are found
with such delight
as the seasons
are snow white.
Some are seen
as changes found
as the leaves
go green to brown.
Seasons come
and seasons go
some with rain
and some with snow.
Sometimes seasons
day and night
might not seem
to be so right.
Maybe sort of
seeming strange,
yet it’s needed
every change.

Holiday Moments

Holiday moments
come into play
when we remember
great Christmas day.
Holiday wonders
of magic delight
seem to encompass
most every sight.
Holiday blessings
found in our view
are things remembered
from then thereunto.
Holiday portals
gazed with a dream
might for a moment
be as the scene.
Holiday moments
come into play
when what’s remembered
does not go away.
Holiday thresholds
with winters delight
paint every Christmas
of each day and night.

I Find Blessings

I find blessings
in my heart
day to day
not far apart.
Some are minutes
seconds seen.
Some are moments
as a dream.
I find blessings
in my view
when I see
what is so true.
Some are fractions
of my sight
sometimes seeming
not so right,
but the blessings
are indeed
what I truly
really need.

Some Fine Thoughts

Lengths of thoughts
of memories
sometimes sail
the deepest seas.
Many thoughts
are found on cue
with a scene
of a sea of blue.
Then remembered
from a time
brings in view
a scenic sign.
When time passed
from here to there
leaving waves
so debonair
there might be
a special place
that still brings
a smiling face.
Some fine thoughts
from history
can live on
in you and me
as the echoes
in the sand
you and I then
hand in hand.

Words of Wisdom

Words of wisdom
often say
what we shouldn’t
do today.
Often wisdom
isn’t found
when we’re looking
all around.
Words of wisdom
might be seen
in a moments
timeless dream.
Maybe found
in something said
that just stuck
inside your head.
Words of wisdom
might display
what we do not
want today.

Snowy Blessings

In the mornings
wondrous view
I see blessings
coming true.
I see white snow
all around
as the blessings
to be found.
White and pure
with mornings sight
I see snow
that I delight.
With the mornings
dawn of day
I see snow
so faraway.
In the distance
I can see
snowy blessings
given free.

Answered Prayer

Soon will be
the times to find
things within
our time to time.
Given choices
daily free
from Lord God
to you and me.
Soon we’ll find
our days ahead
as the times
we did instead.
Often times
of choices found
might seem as
what’s not so sound.
Yet those times
of here to there
are sometimes
our answered prayer.

Sweet Remembrance

Now as winter
comes to be
I see signs
of history.
Things remained
within my view
from a time
of there and to.
Now my thoughts
are found in place
with the seasons
moments grace.
Sweet remembrance
of delight
displays winters
scenic sight.
Now as winter
comes to be
I find blessings
I can see.
Found as snowflakes
floating down
here and there
and all around.
Sweet remembrance
is the view
as I see
this sight brand new.

Godly Displays

I count the minutes
and hours each day
as they’re remembered
each wonderful way.
I see the moments
that time does acquire
as that of blessings
to surely desire.
I might often though
see bitter sights
due to my wantings
of my delights.
It’s when I’m seeking
goodness to view
that I am found then
with what’s that’s true.
I then can count
the minutes and days
as all the wonderful
Godly displays.

Haiku
for Feb 6, 2011

Now might be displayed
as sections misunderstood
due to bad timing.

Angels might be found
in the echoes history
as people we’ve met.

Some see the storm clouds
as bitter moments to find
and some see beauty.

A line that is drawn
could diminish your chances
of finding a friend.

Heaven awaits us
as we journey here and there
and do what we should.

Lessons are displayed
sometimes as bittersweet scenes
from where all we’ve been.

In but a fraction
a rose can grow and blossom
with springs arrival.

A journal written
can enhance many blessings
yet also sadness.

Now is a moment
that many will disregard
as not important.

Losing a battle
does not mean you’ve lost the war.
There is tomorrow.

Wisdom from ages
is often viewed as old news,
yet found in today.

Looking for trouble
could lead you to your demise
as you find too much.

Lessons are thresholds
that we all will encounter
as turnstiles of life.

Timid refractions
may confuse our every step
with our illusions.

The hands of a clock
point at hours of the day
while time just ticks on.

Often ones judge us
by what we simply look like
and miss the blessing.

When in a moment
a lesson could be displayed
through your denial.

Accidents happen
often as needed minutes
for you to acquire.

Places are displayed
as what we might misconstrue
and just miss the view.

Snowflakes are floating
as soft white feathers of ice
and painting the ground.

Looks are deceiving
when seen through a mere moment.
Today might be bad.

Winter brings blessings
with snowflakes in the distance
that paint the valleys.
