ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

I hope you’re doing well. It’s been rather eventful around
here the last few days. We’ve had a visit from a skunk that
almost got Benny a few times, but I was able to snatch him
up before he got sprayed LOL. Friday night at midnight we
had hopefully our last visit from that stinky little critter. He
for some reason got in the doghouse and when I let Benny
and Milo out to go potty, Benny noticed him and began the
bout of pawing and growling at him hehehe. I saw him out
there fighting with something and had a flashback of the
night of Benny barking at the stinky lil critter rummaging
around behind our oil tank. I snatched Benny up and looked
inside the doghouse and there that little stinker was. That
skunk had decided to try and make Benny’s doghouse into
his own home, but through a lot of poking and prodding
along with a few whacks from a mop handle, I was able
to make him lose most of his stink. LOL I tried to scoot
him down to the the door of the doghouse and make him
leave, but he wouldn’t budge. I turned the house over
to try and shake him out, but surprise, the bottom fell
out being it was that way for easy clean up LOL. There
we were, mano a mano staring at one another hehehehe.
I quickly ran around to the top of the doghouse where
I gently picked up the doghouse and carried it out near
the woods and shook it out in the field. It was dark and
I couldn’t see if I had shook him out, so I turned on my
flashlight and shined it down on the ground to where the
little black and white critter from stink vill was looking
at me once again. I ran like the wind or as fast as my
feet would take me which was not that fast, but fast
enough and sprained both of my ankles in the worse way.
My right ankle is swollen almost twice its normal size.
My left ankle isn’t that bad LOL, but they both hurt.
Judy and I were supposed to go to a cook out at her
sisters house Saturday, but I had to stay home. Judy
made a whole lot of tasty things to take to her sisters
house. Unfortunately, she didn’t save any for me
and I got none. Oh well, that’s my life LOL, a day
late and a dollar short. I fixed her and I a hamburger
early this morning being I was starving hehehehe.
I don’t like to eat alone. I never have. Most times
when I was alone I would just eat one meal a day.
Yet now of course with all of my intestinal issues I
don’t even think about eating, because it just sends
me to the freaking bathroom and who can eat after
that hehehe. The weather today is hot. Right now
it’s 89 F degrees and tomorrows supposed to get up
to 90 F degrees. My life in a nutshell hehehehehe.
Judy and I are planning on going over her sisters
house sometime this week to go swimming again in
her pool 🙂 I’m sure Benny and Milo will love that.
I know I will, of course that’s if I am able to climb
up the latter to get in the pool due to my ankles LOL.
Oh well, time will tell. I have been trying to stay off
of them, but I can’t seem to beam myself into the
bathroom for some reason and must freaking walk
and that’s an ongoing trip in itself hehehehehehehe.
When Judy got home around 1 AM Benny and Milo
were so tired from playing with their dog cousins and
all that they both laid down and never moved until
just a few hours ago when Milo could hold his bladder
no longer LOL. Milo went straight to barking at us
saying I’ve gotta go! So now they are both up and
about doing what they always do 🙂 Acting as shadows
as they follow us here and there. Milo just plopped
down in the floor right behind me and is resting again.
OK so now onto another bit of info. Judy now has
PURPLE hair. She dyed it a couple of days ago and
it actually looks pretty good, although I loved the
platinum blond look she had when she was getting her
hair ready for the purple dye. I wasn’t sure if I would
like the colors, but NOT BAD not at all! Though she
is having a bit of a problem with her purple hair dye
bleeding onto her clothes and all. I told her to wash
her hair a few times and maybe that would stop it like
washing brand new colored clothes to get the dye that
didn’t hold well to wash out so it doesn’t discolor the
other clothes by bleeding into them. Judy looks very
nice in her purple hair, but I would love her no matter
what color hair she has. I had though become attached
to her brunette/brown hair though 🙂 As long as she’s
happy with it, that’s all that matters. I took a lot of
pictures of her with her new hair color. Even got one
that she took using her PC cam of her with her blond
hair 🙂 So what else is in the news? We’re getting some
good use out of our portable air conditioner. It isn’t
perfect, but it makes it comfortable to sleep and that
is our most important issue other than not frying in
the PC room LOL. Well, there’s not much else to
report from the Pearce’s Place. Judy and I are still
doing our regular scheduled things hehehehehehehe.
I recorded all of our favorite TV programs last night
so that we can watch them in our leisure. God has been
good to us. He prevented Benny and me from getting
the smelly end of a skunk 🙂 Benny has not a clue to
how close he was to becoming an outdoor dog for a
while LOL. Thank you God for protecting us. Life
can always be worse, so enjoy the moments that you
have. You might look back on them and find a smile.
Well, it’s time once again for me to begin my journey
back through all that I have written to see if I can
find a good word or phrase that might work well for
the title for today’s brand new poem. So it’s away I
go to that place of my recollection that I always like
to call RECOLLECT VILLE. I think I found a good
title around the middle of my rambling hehehehehehe.
So now let’s see if I can do anything with it LOL 🙂

Another Bit of Info

The things remembered
as days go by
often leave us
just wondering why
Another bit of info
might just become
the things we remember
of which that we’ve done.
Another moments turnstile
might open real wide
allowing some issues
painstaking applied.
Another bit on info
might show you so true
how the painstaking
taught things unto you.
Sometimes a journey
of a real bumpy road
might become lessons
that God has bestowed.
He allows turnstiles
sometimes day to day
to help give us lessons
to guide us His way.
Another bit of info
might surely be found
to help with your moments
to find solid ground.

I hope you enjoyed my rambling and maybe even the poem 🙂
It’s 88 F degrees right now at 5:30 PM. It’s supposed to get
down to 60 F degrees tonight or should I say by morning hehe.
I’m gonna have to hurry and finish this so I can fix myself a
bite to eat. Judy ate her some cereal a little bit ago, so she
might not be hungry. I’m pretty sure the boys are hungry or
they should be hehehe. All they had was snacks last night at
Trudy’s house. I’ll feed them in a bit as well. See what I mean
about being impossible to stay off of my ankle hehehehehehe.
Things to do! I reckon it’s time for me to be telling you what
I tell you every week and that is I wrote some more poems and
haiku. Yeppers, 10 more poems and 22 more haiku for all of
my haiku lovers out there. So with that said, I guess I need
to begin my search for that confounded off switch that sort of
likes to play the skunk game. Hide and seek! Yet, before I
begin searching I need to wish you a most blessed God filled
week. Remember, Jesus loves you and we do too. Now, to
find that off switch hehehe. Ah hah, there ya are ya little
bugger. Hiding in floor where Milo was lying won’t save ya.
He’s moved over to my right side now to lie in the floor 🙂
You should’ve followed suit LOL. I might not of noticed you.

P.S. Milo got antsy the other day wanting his Scooby Snacks
and got his head stuck in the box trying to get one LOL. They
do love their Scooby Snacks hehehehe! Also I hung up our
scare crow that we bought for last Halloween the other day and
Benny cannot get it in his mind that it is not alive hehehehe.
Oh yea hehehe P.S. again. We bought the boys a little 5 foot
round 1 foot deep plastic kiddy pool. Judy and I are fixing to
take them outside and let them play in it hehehe.

Shades of Blue

Up above
the sky of blue
shows us all
a daily hue.
Shades of blue
just floating free
might be found
within the sea.
Flavors painted
low and high
shades of blue
give their reply.
Colors painted
here and there
that so many
don’t compare.
Shades of blue
from dark to light
come into
our day and night.

Within A Breath

A single breath of
air in time
can be best
of yours and mine.
Within a breath
is hopeful hue
that through prayer
is strength brand new.
A moments time
that we breathe in
can become
the end of sin.
Yet of course
the breath we breathe
needs in Christ
us to believe.
Then wiped clean
our slate of time
within a breath
is found divine.
Our fleshly bodies
will still show
where we’ve been
and where we’d go,
but through Christ
our Heavens path
will shine through
the aftermath.

Sunshine’s Shower

Beams of sunshine
shine on down
making shadows
on the ground.
Little light beams
shine on through
leaves of green
to me and you.
Sunshine’s shower
makes designs
upon our daily
moments minds.
Scenes of beauty
far and wide
sunshine’s shower
is applied.
Even oceans
waters deep
sunshine’s shower
makes a streak.
With it’s daily
radiant hues
sunshine’s shower
makes the news.
Allowing fluffy
clouds of white
to join in
and change the sight.
Sunshine’s shower
then becomes
as some raindrops
beating drums.

Often moments
we remember
are just pains
of burning ember.
Yet if chances
were made true
we might make
the worse of two.
Another chance
that many seek
might just find
a dismal peek.
Let your lessons
not be found
as just another
chance around.
Use those lessons
daily true
making better
things you do.

The Edge of Day

As time moves on
with ticking essence
the edge of day
shows moons of crescent.
Scenes are ended
and begun
the edge of day
with end of sun.
Soon the moonlight
comes to play
often looking
just like day.
Brightest moonlight
shines and shows
on what all
its time bestows.
The edge of day
brings chances seen
found within
a nighttime dream.

God and Prayer

When troubles come
to you each day
take the time
to kneel and pray.
Through God and prayer
the day can be
much better then
for you and me.
When you’re saddened
from what’s seen
put Lord Jesus
on your team.
Then those saddened
days gone by
will be filled
with Adonai.
Yes some troubles
will still come,
but peace will grow
through God’s Own Son.

Yesterdays Shadow

With every perception
of yesterdays wage
costs are perceived as
turns of a page.
Yesterdays shadow
might seem to be found
right now before us
as our sight and sound.
Gleaming remembrance
of yesterdays show
often will guide us
to where all we go.
Now todays shadows
might surely be seen
as tomorrows yesterdays
thoughts in a dream.
Yesterdays shadows
might then become
what we perceived as
thens shining sun.

When Now is Done

When time has passed
with done and said
the time will come
that’s there ahead.
When now is done
and then is gone
time will show
another dawn.
With every choice
we make each day
the now that’s done
then makes display.
Certain stages
of our lives
turn into
a great surprise.
When now is done
with pages turned
now becomes
some bridges burned.
Choices voices
that we’ve sounded
might become
what’s not well rounded.
When now is done
make sure you’ve tried
the best you can
with God applied.

Simple Essence

Breezes blowing
now and then
often strengthen
as the wind.
Simple essence
is attire
with leaves blowing
with desire.
Minutes passing
show their hue
simple essence
through and through.
Each breeze blowing
changes stride
leaving pictures
days applied.
Simple essence
finds a way
to make changes
in the day.

Days So Silly

Silly things
that come and go
days so silly
surely show.
Things we’ve done
or maybe seen
might seem like
the weirdest dream.
Days so silly
surely find
things remembered
then in time.
So those silly
days you see
lock them in
your memory,
then when troubles
come your way
days so silly
can display.
Letting laughter
fill your mind
from a silly
point in time.

Haiku
for July 13, 2013

Without a dreamer
many hopes for tomorrow
cannot be better.

The sun of today
shines glimmers of yesterday
found in some shadows.

With todays choices
tomorrow will find a path
leading to answers.

Morning is often
the verdict of distortion
found through bad judgment.

A skunks bad aroma
leaves much to be desired
after it has sprayed.

Seasons of shadows
become as our memories
that follow each day.

Forgive and forget
is a lot harder to do
than to say the words.

Nighttime comes alive
with many different sounds
coming from the dark.

Searching for true love
leaves many standing alone
looking for perfect.

Nearby occasions
might become part of your life
if you get too close.

With every moment
there is a chance for changes,
some good and some bad.

Literal thinking
leaves no room for a dreamer
to look beyond sight.

Right now gives blessings
that you may or may not see,
so give praise to God.

Nobody’s someone
could become anybody found
that’s doing your job.

As minutes tick on
the hours soon gather speed
to end out the day.

Places we’ve been to
often become our haven
as troubles display.

Joining two as one
makes lives become as blessings
if they are true love.

Finding a feather
without a bird to pluck one
might need a pillow.

The hands of today
can chain together as one
and become stronger.

Thinking about time
can leave you empty handed
as today goes by.

Cherished memories
are the tools to bring us peace
when we cannot move.

When the day’s at end
it brings forth many blessings
that sleep magnifies.
