ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been a cold and rainy day with a little snow early this
morning. It’s 42 F degrees right now which is rather warm
at the moment compared to the passed few days we’ve had.
The temp is supposed to bounce up and down for the next
few days, then maybe finally hopefully settle into the cold
of winter. I hate it when it snows and then gets above the
freeze mark which causes melting and then it just refreezes
when the temperature goes down. I don’t mind it so much
driving in snow, but the ice is hard enough to walk on much
less drive on LOL. Benny is loving all of the snow. Every
time we let Milo out to go potty, Benny runs outside with
him, but when Milo comes back in, Benny still wants to stay
and play. We have to come back later to check to see if he
is done playing in the snow LOL. I just let him back in a
moment ago and he was all excited. He grabbed up some
squeaky toys and took off through the kitchen and right
between my legs hehehe. Milo was waiting for him to come
back in and he went running along side of him. They are
both now lying in their doggy beds right beside me. They
are getting used to the Sunday rituals hehehe. Milo will
watch from the bedroom as I hold lil Benny up so he can
watch mom drive out of the driveway. They know she’ll
be home later. Benny keeps his ears focused on listening
for Judy to come home LOL. The downfall to that is that
he barks at anything that he thinks might be mom driving
in the driveway and I have to open the door and let him
look so he’ll shut up :). But of course, when he is sure
that it is mom, he goes ballistic and there is no doubt
that it is Judy driving up. Yep, those boys love mom a
whole bunch. When she comes in the door, both Benny
and Milo are jumping up on her trying to say hello LOL.
I have to hold Benny back until Judy makes it in the
door or he’ll run out and get right under her feet and
make it hard for her to walk. They do that with either
of us when we’re gone for a bit. When I get out of the
car to go check our mailbox, Benny starts whimpering
and Judy will lower the back window so he can watch me.
Anyways, onwards to hopefully another topic hehehe.
Judy and I had a great Thanksgiving. We were though
afraid that we were going to be stuck at home due to all
of the snow, but our landlord sent a guy to plow us out.
So, we went over to Judy’s sisters house and met up
with more of the family. Both of Judy’s daughters were
there and our granddaughter Rylee. Also a few others
of the family were there. Brother in Law Dennis cooked
the turkey and he did a fabulous job. I don’t even like
turkey and I went back for seconds hehehe. After we
finished eating, a few of us gathered around the table
and played Pictionary. That was a blast even if a few
of us didn’t draw so well LOL. Benny and Milo had
a great visit with their cousins. Yep, them and their
4 Yorkie cousins were all over the place. We were
pretty much ready to come home after 5 or 6 hours
and Benny and Milo were too :). I hope you had a
safe and happy Thanksgiving. I ate too much LOL.
My stomach is still feeling the swell hehehehehehe.
I went Tuesday and got an ultra sound on the lump
on my shoulder and now I’m waiting patiently for the
results. I hope it isn’t anything bad. Hopefully he
will be able to just remove it without any problems.
It’s making my shoulder hurt really bad. It’s in God’s
Hands. Anyways, looking on towards this week I
can see that December is finally making it’s intro.
Yeppers, Monday is the first day of December which
tonight begins the 25 days till Christmas. I’m writing
more and more Christmas poems the closer it gets :).
It’s a mystery to how many I will get written this year.
I got a hundred written last year and the year before.
Boy Milo is doing some wood cutting hehehe. He’s
our little lumber jack. Ok, if ya don’t know what I’m
talking about, think Sawing Logs/Snoring hehehe.
It’s still 42 F degrees outside. Tomorrows supposed
to be a high of 40 F, but drop to 11 F tomorrow night,
then a high of 21 F for Tuesday LOL. Crazy is right.
I wish it would just make up its mind. Although, I’m
sure that it will soon enough, and the 40 F degree days
will not be seen until maybe April or May hehehehe.
I thank God for all of the beauty that displays through
the doorways of winter. God does His decorating with
the snowflakes that fall. The snow becomes a blanket
that is spread over the scenery making it to glisten.
Sheesh, Milo is freaking snoring LOUD! It makes
it rather hard to think. I’ve gotta wake him up and then
let him go back to sleep. Maybe that will work LOL.
Hehehe it stopped it for a bit, but for how long that
is the winning question :). I guess I need to hurry and
make my journey back through all that I’ve written
here to see if I can find a decent word or phrase that
I can use for the title for today’s brand new poem
and do it quickly before Milo’s snoring starts again.
So it’s away I go to that place of my recollection that
I always like to call RECOLLECT VILLE. It looks
like I found a good title not but a few lines back, so
let’s see what I can do with it, if anything at all :).
Here goes!!! Milos snoring lightly now LOL.

Doorways of Winter

The chills of winter
will enter through
bringing along scenes
that come into view.
Doorways of winter
have knobs that will turn
maybe invisible,
but moments discern.
Minutes are gathered
as doors open wide
allowing the fragrance
of Christmas inside.
Doorways of winter
are found in the air
flavored with snowflakes
and God’s love and care.
Each scene’s transposed as
time front and center
with Christmas coming through
doorways of winter.
This time every year
as seasons move on
doorways of winter
display a new dawn.
Christmastimes blessings
with children at play
doorways of winter
have so much to say.
Thankful for family
and love given true
doorways of winter
show a Christmassy hue.

I wasn’t intending on writing another Christmas poem, but
there ya go HoHoHo hehehe. I hope you liked it OK and
maybe even my rambling hehehe. Yep, I do tend to ramble
don’t I hehehe! LOL I thought I heard someone calling my
name and it was just Milo in a muffled snore hehehe. Benny
and me went to the front door and looked. Nope, nobody
there. It’s too early yet anyways hehehe. Benny stayed in
the living room and more than likely he’s lying on his most
favorite recliner to keep a look out for Judy/mom hehehe :).
He’ll be back in here after he gets tired of waiting. If I get
done writing in time, I might fix us something to eat, but if
not then we’ll eat when Judy gets home. Speak of the devil,
here comes Benny ;). He’s back in the floor lying next to
Milo right beside me. Yep, I know these boys. It’s gotten
to be a regular thing every week hehehe. Milo’s begun his
vibrato/snoring again :), but thankfully I am almost done
with my writing. Oh yea, I tried to call ya mom, so I guess
this will have to do, HAPPY BIRTHDAY. I love ya bunches
and bunches mom. Now, I need to tell you what I tell you
almost every week and that is, I wrote some more poems
and haiku. Yep, 10 more poems with SIX of them being
Christmas poems. I’ll let you figure out the others, LOL.
Yep, wrote some about us. I also wrote 22 more haiku for
all of my haiku lovers out there. I hope you can find one or
two of either or both that you like. Now it’s time for me to
be searching for that horrible at hiding off switch, but not
before I wish you a most wonderful weekend or what that’s
left of it and a blessings filled week. Remember, Jesus
loves you and we do too. Now where’s that dad burned
off switch attempting to hide this week??????? You’re
getting better or I’m just getting worse at searching LOL.
I see ya dude! Hiding under my tissues would of been a
good spot if my allergies weren’t acting up so freaking bad.
Aaaaaaachewwwww. I think I lost a brain cell that time :).
Anyways, Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

P.S. Oops I forgot, I wrote one extra poem, so that makes
11 for this week instead of 10 hehehe. So, there ya go 🙂

Now on with the poems and haiku
10+1 and 22 hehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Sweet Embrace

Ceilings of grateful
are found in the sky
with many angels
to watch till we die.
Embracing the moments
with their love and care
all of God’s angels
are answers to prayer.
Sweetly they watch us
and guide us so true
all of God’s angels
are for me and you.
Angels of mercy
from Heaven above
sweetly embrace us
with God’s Holy Love.
Even when problems
come with disgrace
all of God’s angels
give sweet embrace.

Winter Stars

Seamless beauty
winter stars
join with Venus
and with Mars.
Starlit windows
open true
giving me a
wondrous view.
Found as dreams
with endless roads
winter stars
the skies expose.
Seaming timeless
pages turn
winter stars
my eyes discern.
Up above me
oh so far
I can see the
winter stars.
As they twinkle
in the night
the winter stars
show their delight.
Endless dreamlands
I can see
the winter stars
turn Christmassy.
Then those twinkles
that I gaze
turn to Heaven’s
Christmas days.
Each star glistens
with its hue
winter stars
of thereunto.
Christmas beacons
through the night
winter stars
so very bright.

Northeastern Sunrise

Maine’s early mornings
bring sunshine to see,
northeastern sunrise
found so Heavenly.
Coming up early
from that eastern sky
the sun brings its glory
to soon be so high.
A northeastern sunrise
with colorful hues
sometimes as purple
with shades of some blues.
Northeastern sunrises
brings forth a sight
that is a present
that’s given from night.
Soon as the morning
shines in my eyes
I am with joyful
northeastern sunrise.

Our Little Shadows

Four legged footsteps
make sounds as they go
our little shadows
found then to and fro.
Walking behind us
while anticipating
our little shadows
are watching and waiting.
They are our boys
as brothers in time,
yet they’re with breeding
of a different design.
Our little shadows
are four legged true,
but we do love them
for they are true blue.
Four legged shadows
are God’s given grace
our little shadows
follow us everyplace.
Hearts filled with passion
those shadows of love
walk on with footsteps
from Lord God above.

Simple Bliss

Winters mornings
give a kiss
sometimes with some
simple bliss.
Flakes of snowfall
landing true
simple bliss
becomes the view.
Distant scenes are
Christmas sights
simple bliss
found in the nights.
Winters wonders
find a way
to expose that
Christmas day.
With a snowman
children made
simple bliss
is lemonade.
Christmas blessings
far and wide
simple bliss
will come inside.
With some lights
red, green and blue
simple bliss
can live in you,
Christmas joyful,
Heavens kiss
might expose some
simple bliss.
Found within a
day and time
Christmassy
and so divine.
So if sadness
finds you blue
find some simple
bliss in you.
It might be
forgotten days
simple bliss
of wondrous ways,
but you might just
find a smile
simple bliss
from distant mile.

Two Trees

In a forest of trees
stands two all alone.
Two evergreens
so tall they have grown.
They have seen many
to come and to go
each Christmas season
amidst fallen snow.
The two trees stand there
watching and awaiting
always each season
just anticipating.
They have only dreamed
of Christmas with lights
them being lit up
so bright in the nights.
Each and every winter
they hope and they pray
that they will soon see
that special day.
Then one winters night
they heard some faint voices
Christmas tree searching
ones making their choices.
All of the sudden then
here came a little boy
looking up at them
and filled full of joy.
He hollered dear daddy
come look and come see
I think I found
the very best Christmas tree.
His dad came then trudging
on through the snow
looking up high
and looking down low.
His dad said now son
there’s two here the same
both of them wondrous
but not why we came.
Yet while he stood there
he thought of a friend
that the other tree
he could surely send.
The two trees smiled
as they were cut down
to finally see that
great Christmas town.
Stood up so sturdy
with lights and decorations
this had surely filled
their best imaginations.
Seeing the children
to give them applause
then go to bed
to await Santa Claus.
We both had our places
with true window views
watching all the lights
of reds, greens and blues.
Across the street
we could see each other
smiling all lit up
trees just like brothers
Then during the night
we both heard a sound
and down the chimney
we heard Santa bound.
This was the man that
those children awaited
and that great moment
that we anticipated.
We had finally found
our Christmas families
yet not together
but still as two trees.

White Flakes of Christmas

White winters mornings
awaken with scenes
snowflakes of Christmas
that fill many dreams.
White flakes of Christmas
fall down to the Earth
creating artwork
of blessings filled worth.
Scenes mesmerizing
found as delight
snowflakes of Christmas
falling pure white.
Christmas with snowmen
and snow angels too
white flakes of Christmas
display such a view.
Children all playing
while throwing snowballs
white flakes of Christmas
most surly enthralls.
Each scene of Christmas
is found at a glance
sometimes so wondrous
as God’s song and dance.
White flakes of Christmas
most surely are found
always up northward
when Christmas comes around.

Just Reminiscing

As time has moved along
it’s left me to dream
just reminiscing
every little thing.
Thinking about my childhood
times long ago
just reminiscing
things that I know.
I remember Christmas
when I was so young
singing about Jesus
Lord God’s Only Son.
Those times I remember
with mom, dad and sis
just reminiscing
I now surely miss.
Christmas light looking
as we drove around
looking at the lights
with windows rolled down.
Those days long ago
are just a memory
just reminiscing
our old Christmas tree.
The train going around it
on its little track
just reminiscing
those days way back.
Now I’m much older
with a wife of my own
watching each Christmas
with white scented tone.
Us now together
with our little boys
Benny and Milo
and their squeaky toys.
So, now is most special
with future to see
just reminiscing
our own history.

Lost In A Smile

Sometimes a moment,
sometimes a place
lost in a smile
finds home on my face.
Ventures of heartbeats
time moves along
lost in a smile
creates a new dawn.
Often ones needing
that you have been there
lost in a smile
displays love and care.
My own perceptions
of yesterdays path
lost in a smile
shows good aftermath.
Sometimes our choices
of good times or bad
lost in a smile
replaces the sad.
It’s how we view it
those times long ago
lost in a smile
can help you to glow.
Don’t let the darkness
to envelop you
lost in a smile
can better the view.
Let God to help you
see passed all the greys
then lost in a smile
can show better days.

Dancing Hearts

The holidays
of timeless scenes
dancing hearts
create some dreams.
Moments gather
growing true
dancing hearts
of me and you.
Two together
holding hands
dancing hearts
of timeless sands.
Winds of journeys
travel on
dancing hearts
from dusk to dawn.
Us together
watching time
growing stronger
yours and mine.
Heartbeats beating
truthfully
dancing hearts
through history.

It Has Begun

Winter’s here
it has begun
with the sight
of mornings sun.
Christmas follows
with its sights
lights that twinkle
in the nights.
It has begun
that wondrous day
some with snow
to go and play.
Christmastime
is coming soon
with each song
we sing in tune.
Songs of Jesus
Lord God’s Son
Christmastime
it has begun.
Even Santa
songs we hear
sung by many
so sincere.
It has begun
that wondrous time
Christmas blessings
so sublime.

Haiku
for Nov 29, 2014

A thought does nothing
until action is followed,
but make sure it’s good.

Heartfelt emotions
can be viewed in the wrong light
if you are not clear.

Our own integrity
can become soured ventures
if we’re not careful.

The light of morning
comes shining through the windows
giving a new glimpse.

Challenging others
could end up with you losing
even if you won.

As winter winds blow
the signs of the times are seen
sometimes as snowflakes.

Trudging through the snow
leaves some footprints for others
that they might follow.

Fighting off bad thoughts
gets harder when repeating
pathways you’ve chosen.

Looking for answers
through your own stupidity
might create problems.

Allowing a problem
to become all that you are
could bring your downfall.

The moonlight glistens
as stars in the sky twinkle
giving us some light.

A simple shadow
could be just a mere shadow
of something that’s passed.

Beyond our eyesight
there are many things to see
that are never seen.

Sometimes ones heartbeat
can become as a rhythm
sounding as a drum.

Less of our choices
can often show better ways
if we’re bad choosers.

Kinks in an idea
will come when it’s not thought through
and just acted out.

Looking at the clouds
you might see a few items
that you recognize.

If not letting go
you might find yourself in pain
from stretching too far.

Gossip is a killer
as a two edged sword of words
that could cut your heart.

Life is a flower
that blooms within its own time
and not before it.

When your shadow fades
you might find you’re in darkness
but not without God.

Harboring anger
could make you as dynamite
to one day explode.
