Building Blocks Of Life

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been another sort of eventful week around here.  Friday
we took our car and got the door fixed.  Judy was so thrilled
when she opened the driver side door with the handle like it
is supposed to be able to be opened LOL.  They washed our
car while they had it.  Of course that carwash didn’t last long
due to the weather up here hehehe.  It was snowing heavily
a little while ago.  Milo needed to go out and potty and when
Benny saw it snowing,  he came a running for the door wanting
to go out and play.  Milo came right back in when he was done,
but Benny wanted to stay out and play,  so I checked on him
a little later and through a little coaxing I was able to get him
to come back in,  but he was in no way ready to come back
in.  I didn’t want to leave him out there and get caught up on
my writing and him end up out there for an hour or so.  It’s
28 F degrees.  I know that’s not too cold,  but I don’t want
him to get sick.  Benny’s lying in a doggy bed right beside
me at this moment.  He’s sound asleep.  Milo was in here
sleeping,  but decided to hop up on our bed and sleep and
so that’s where he is right now.  It really hasn’t been too
exciting around here this passed week.  I guess the most
exciting thing was Judy’s youngest daughter brought her
son (our grandson) and he stayed here while Helena went to
work.  Christian said he wants to come back again hehehe.
He might be back again next Saturday.  It seems that he
enjoyed himself.  He played with many of my gadgets and
he goofed around on Judy’s PC.  We watched a few TV
programs as well.  Helena came and picked him up when
she got off of work last night and she visited for a little
while.  Judy took down our Christmas tree last night 🙂
She figured it was March and time for it to be put away.
I hope you remembered to change your clocks if you
happen to be in a place that they do that ignorant thing.
Yes,  I think it’s ignorant.  Just what do they think it’s
saving,  when not everybody does it?  I think that the
daylight savings time should be abolished from all of
the states.  It does no good as far as I can see other
than confuse peoples internal clocks hehehe.  There’s
not much use for it if you ask me.  Nope,  I say leave
the time alone.  It’s crazy enough as it is.  Oh yeah,
our neighbors next door moved.  Our landlord said he
has somebody moving in one of the front trailers soon,
so we’ll have neighbors again LOL.  It don’t matter
to me,  but I do enjoy having someone to talk to other
than Judy and the boys hehehe.  Being way out in the
boonies hinders the chance for making friends.  Oh
well,  I’ll survive.  I will miss Mark and Charlene a
little bit though.  There’s been a few neighbors that
I have gotten to know well and it hurt when they left.
I guess that’s part of life.  My right eye is getting
very weak now and I might have to pause for a bit
and rest it.  Being with only one good eye it puts a
lot of pressure on the one.  So,  I’ll be back in a bit.
I’m back.  I took about an hour nap to rest my eye
and it seems to be a little stronger now.  Actually
I just laid there with my eyes closed and listened to
music,  but it helped.  Benny is still sleeping in the
floor in here.  I had to move Milo over because he
was sleeping in my spot LOL.  Sleep’s not something
that I get in a great abundance nowadays due to a
number of health issues,  so I try to grab a wink or
two whenever I can.  It’s 6:30 and already getting
dark outside.  We might have a few days above
the freezing mark this week.  That’s gonna bring
about a bit of slush as some snow melts hehehehe.
It’s supposed to snow off and on throughout the
week so the snow shall be replenished without a
doubt.  I hope our landlord makes it over soon to
fix our front storm door.  It’s in a bad way and it’s
needing some TLC.  Our landlord was supposed
to come and fix it yesterday,  but maybe he will
show up tomorrow LOL.  We’ll survive I reckon!
It’s getting darker now.  By the time it’s 7 PM it’ll
be pitch black outside at this rate.  Milo needed
to go outside again and as usual, Benny wanted to
go outside too and so Milo is already back inside
and Benny,  well you know the story hehehe. I’ll
check on him in a bit.  I’m going to have to record
North Woods Law and Ax men tonight because I’m
sure Judy won’t be home in time to watch them 🙂
I may have to record a couple of other programs
if she’s running late tonight.  Life at the Pearce’s.
Not the most exciting world LOL!  I was surprised
that our grandson wanted to come back.  We are
kind of boring hehehe.  But,  he’s always welcome.
I wish my daughter and granddaughter could come
up,  but aside from finances,  Jayme’s daughter,
(our granddaughter) is not doing so well.  She was
born with Spinal Bifida and she’s had some real
bad infections.  She’s in Scottish Rite Hospital
in Dallas Texas right now.  Please send her your
prayers.  I’m sure my daughter Jamye could use
some prayers right now as she tries her best to
take care of Sami.  Poor little Sami has always
stayed strong through all of her health issues.
Sami’s 15 years old now and a strong little girl.
I love them and miss them both terribly,  but I
know God is always in control.  Now I’ve gotta
go and check on Benny.  I’ll be back.  I’m back.
Benny is in here now with me and Milo.  Ain’t we
exciting!????  LOL not much happens,  but we’re
content.  God has blessed our house with His love
and we can feel it.  We have our share of troubles,
but He always gives us a way to deal with them.
I’m sure you’re life is filled with a few problems
that you might view as enormous,  but to God they
are just turning points of our lives that if used in
the right way can make us stronger and wiser.  So
don’t view the problems as defeating,  but as some
building blocks of life.  With that said,  I believe
it’s time for me to begin my quest back through all
that I’ve written here,   to see if I can find a word
or phrase that I can use for the title for today’s
brand new poem.  And so it’s away I go to that lil
place of my recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  Though I do think I found
a good title just a few lines back and I see that it
has not be used yet,  by me of course and so then
it shall be used hehehe.   Here goes nothing.

Building Blocks Of Life

Times that we’ve trembled,
and found then some strife
they were just moments
building blocks of life
Doorways to troubles
with scenes we’ve exposed
building blocks of life
show our highs and lows.
Seemed as so warranted
reasons thought clear
building blocks of life
will surely appear.
Sometimes as patterns
a rhythm or two
building blocks of life
will come into view.
Often tomorrows
will mimic today
building blocks of life
to clear up the grey.
Don’t let your worries
to hold you in place
building blocks of life
are seasoned with Grace.
God and His Glory
are always at hand
building blocks of life
to help us withstand.
Truly confusions
real hard to derive
are with some answers
building blocks of life.
Then as the doorways
of yesterdays dawn
building blocks of life
will help us move on.

Ok,  there ya go.  I know,  it isn’t that great,  but I did
the best I could with that title hehehe.  So,  what else is
there to tell ya?  Well,  hmm,  It looks like I will be doing
some bouncing back and forth recording programs on the
TV in here and in the bedroom LOL.  I’ve got 3 different
channels to record with 2 of them at the same timeframe.
Hehehe what I do for that woman :).  Ain’t we exciting!
Benny and Milo are both in the floor sound asleep in their
beds.  Yep right behind and beside me.  They’re my little
guard dogs hehehe.  Nobodies gonna sneak in on me LOL.
Milo’s snoring now.  LOL,  he woke himself with his snore.
He sat up and looked at me and then laid back down and
went back to sleep.  As if it was me that snored and woke
him up hehehe.  Here’s another bit of info.  Judy’s sister
Barbara went to Australia a week or so ago and she took
tons of pictures.  I haven’t downloaded any YET,  but
I will.  Anyways,  she’s back in Maine now.  I’m guessing
she might have a tad bit of jet lag LOL.  I myself don’t
see myself flying anywhere anytime soon hehehe, but
I will most assuredly be taking more pictures of our
scenery here in Maine.  You never know what I might
take a picture of,  but during this time of the year,  you
can almost bank on it having snow in it hehehe.  Darn
it,  a program that wasn’t supposed to be until 9 o clock
came on at 8 and so I missed 5 minutes of its recording.
That’s what I mean about daylight savings time.  It
messes up everything.  TV broadcasts are all out of
place.  Oh well,  It’s recording now 🙂  Now,  is there
anything else that I have forgotten to tell ya?  Nope,
I can’t think of anything.  So I reckon it’s time for me
to be telling you what I tell you almost every week
and that is,  I that wrote some more poems and haiku.
Yeppers 10 more poems with one of them being sort
of Christmassy.  Also I wrote once agin 22 haiku for
all of my haiku lovers out there.  I hope you can find
one or two of either or both that you like.  Now,  it’s
time for me to begin my search for that not so elusive
off switch,  but not before I wish you a most wonderful
weekend or whatever is left of it and a truly blessings
filled week.  Remember,  Jesus loves you and we do
too.  Ok,  where are ya hiding at ya silly off switch?
Hopefully you’ve put more thought into your hiding
spot than you have in the past hehehe.  Oh for crying
out loud,  couldn’t you have at least ducked down a
little?  Standing right behind a clear bottle of eyedrops
does not conclude as hiding ya numbskull hehehehe.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny and Milo Pearce

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Twilight Solitude

Starlight shining
in the night
is mesmerizing
great twilight.
The solitude from
up above
shines as twilight
filled with love.
Twilight solitude
nights to share
gives us all a
breath of air.
If we would only
search to find
we would maybe then
see a sign.
Twinkling essence
we might see
is twilight solitude
God gave free.

Without Delay

Looking for good times
in every which way
might find you bad times
and without delay.
Don’t let your hurry to
take you off course
for without delay
can be hinder force.
Hindering choices
you thought out so well
without delay might
send you to Hell.
Sometimes it’s better to
think out your plan
before you set out to
see if you can.
Often your conscience
can teach you more true
what without delay might
cause you to do.

Through The Mist

As warm air rises
from the cold
a misty morning
I’ll behold.
Eyes with passion
looking out
through the mist
and all about.
Scenes becoming
such a sight
through the day
and through the night.
Through the mist
I see myself
as a shadow
on a shelf.
Loosely standing
God’s assist
my own shadow’s
through the mist.

Heartstrings

True emotions
come alive
as some heartstrings
that arrive.
Some so simple
as a smile
are the heartstrings
that compile.
Windows opened
letting in
times of heartstrings
to begin.
Each with patterns
gathered true
are the heartstrings
me and you.
Found so simply
faraway
our own heartstrings
live today.

From you know who 🙂

Phoenix Rising

Through the ashes
lives can grow
phoenix rising
from the fro.
Times remembered
costing ways
phoenix rising
then displays.
Lessons learned from
touch and voice
phoenix rising
gives a choice.
Letting passed days
become tools
phoenix rising
not just fools.
Let your passed days
become found
phoenix rising
better ground.

A Room of Thoughts

A place where thinking
comes alive
is the place where
times survive.
A room of thoughts
with inner sights
of Decembers
Christmas lights.
The thoughts are found
as moments scenes
some as great
as living dreams.
Beyond our eyesight
thereunto
the thoughts I think
might just come true
Christmas moments
are never lost
deep within
a room of thoughts.

The Great Thaw

Winters ending
might now seem
as but only
just a dream.
The great thaw
of wintertime
might be seen
in late springtime.
All the snow
that’s now in place
my then thaw
as rivers race.
Every snowflake
that has landed
soon will be what
has disbanded.
Melting snowflakes
that did fall
will soon be as
the great thaw.

Looking Down

Looking up
and looking down
might not show
what’s all around.
Looking left
and looking right
might still lose
what’s plain in sight.
Many seeking
searching true
might look up
and not at You.
Yet God’s answers
are right there
maybe as
a breath of air.
Sometimes people
will just frown
as they’re always
looking down.
Raise your head up
and see true.
Find what Lord God
has for you.
Looking down might
just give way
to another
dismal day.

A Snow White Canvas

As seasons are turning
and changes are made
a snow white canvas
is Heavenly laid.
Painted with brushstrokes
of angels divine
the canvas of white is
found wintertime.
A snow white canvas
of chilling detail
is helped with the winds
and snowflakes set sail.
The canvas that’s painted
becomes a page
turned as a book read
found center stage.
A snow white canvas
displays its hue
found within winter
as dreams come true.

Inner Light

With our feelings
inner light
we might find
a better sight.
Deep within us
blessings grow
inner light
to daily show.
Yet so many
look away
from their inner
light each day.
Them not seeing
what is there
inner light
that comes from prayer.
Let your heartbeat
find what’s right
from God’s truth
The Inner Light.

Haiku
for Mar 6,  2015

Looking within you
there might be your reflection
seeking to know you.

Our lost perceptions
could be the problems in life
that hinder our growth.

Morning brings doorways
that open and close with time
to change our choices.

Continued lying
could become a bad tumor
that loses your friends.

Life in a storm cloud
might seem as a lonely one,
but others are there.

Ones misconceptions
could destroy what’s possible
and end in despair.

Looking for a friend
needs you first to become one
and friends will be found.

Portions of a dream
might seem as reality,
but do not be fooled.

Waking to nightmares
could be caused by decisions
that you have allowed.

Torment of snowflakes
is often that of a hater
of the wintertime.

The leaves of springtime
come alive as the snow melts
leaving pure waters.

Lessons from others
might not stay with us as long
as mistakes we’ve made.

One’s we thought smarter
might not be so smart at all
without common sense.

Pointing at others
does not remove your own place,
as ones point at you.

Painting with passion
needs true pallets of Jesus
within the brushstrokes.

Lumbering footsteps
leave a clear trail to follow
that’s in no hurry.

Wisdom of a mind
comes to be with history,
lessons discovered.

Pointless is a lie
for it does not live with truth
and it soon will die.

Snow falling from trees
makes a thud upon the ground
soon followed be more.

Misery gathered
is a fly on flypaper
joined with a few more.

Today offers hope
for a new you to be born
from your passed lessons.

A song in the heart
can become a sweet chorus
if God is The Words.
