ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

Another week has passed and left me with
another chance to ramble.  It’s 72 degrees
right now at 5:30 PM.  Not much going on
right now.  Last Tuesday we had to go up to
Presque Isle for Judy’s doctor appointment
and we stopped off at Arby’s and got dinner
for that evening and the next day.  We had
to take Rocky to his yearly vet appointment
Wednesday.  He has lost a few pounds which
he was needing to lose and he’s doing well.
Last Thursday Judy had another doctor’s
appointment,  but this one was in Houlton
near us.  Friday we took the car in to get
it inspection and other than a stabilizer
bar,  it passed.  So now all we need to do
is get the car registered and we’ll do that.
It has rained most of the passed week and
more rain to come LOL.  It seems as when
it quit snowing the rains began 🙂  Monday
it is supposed to be a high of 82,  but we
shall see.  No matter,  because if it does get
that hot I will be staying inside real near
the air conditioner hehehe.  It’s supposed
to start raining again Tuesday night and
continue on till next weekend LOL.  Yep,
the ground is soaked.  Though the bugs
have not gotten bad yet thank God.  It
must be too rainy for them 🙂  Thankfully
our landlords daughter brought the riding
mower over and finished mowing behind
our house for me.  My body is worn out.
Although in the next few days,  I’ll have
to mow again when the sun comes out due
 to all of the rain.  I’ll do what I’m able to
do.  That’s all I can do.  So what else is
going on around this place.  Oh yea, on
Friday after we got home and all I was
fixing Judy and I something to eat and
drink.  I put her food in the microwave
to heat it a little being I had many things
going at once and hers had gotten cold
while I was fixing mine and pouring us
some milk to make us some strawberry
flavored milk with Nesquik in our plastic
glasses.  I had set her glass in front of
the microwave and thought I need to
remove her food from it and I opened
the door,  to which it hit her glass and
knocked it over and totally shattered
the glass door to the microwave.  Who
knew it would only take a little bump
to shatter it LOL.  Anyways,  we had
to head back to Houlton and buy us a
new microwave.  That’s how my luck
goes hehehe.   Break a glass window
with a measly plastic cup/glass.  Well,
that’s about all we did last week other
than watch TV and do our hobbies 🙂
It would be nice if people would start
buying my books,  but it is what it is.
Oh yea,  I don’t mention this often,
but my sobriety date is today June 11
1990 and as of today I have been sober
for 33 years.  It’s just something that
I don’t focus on anymore,  being I’ve
let that part of my life to leave me and
moved on with my life.  God has always
watched over me through life and many
times I was unaware of it.  I also have
many angels and kindly spirits that
have watched over me and still watch
over me as well as a few new ones that
God has sent to me.  God watches over
Judy and I as we travel thru life and He
also watches over you.  Have faith that
things will work out the way that they
are meant to work out.   Just do your
very best.  I pray that you keep God
in your heart as the seconds become
days and weeks.  Thank You Father
God for never wavering and always
doing what needs to be done as life
continues on.  Father I pray that You
will watch over all of our family and
friends as well as ones we know not of.
Amen and Amen.   Now I do believe it
is time for me to be reading back over
all that I’ve written here to see if I can
find me a decent word or phrase that
I can use for the title for today’s brand
new poem.  So,  it’s away I go to that
lil place of my recollection that I like
to call RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think
I may have found me a fairly decent
title just a few lines back and now after
checking I see that it has not been used
yet,  so used it shall be.  Here goes…

Life Continues On

Doors and windows
become as our goals
times within journeys
that might take tolls.
Life is like heartbeats
beating as a breath
as life continues on
beginnings to death.
Yet as our physical
will surely grow old
time has a way of
releasing our soul.
Continuing a journey
on throughout time
living without pain
with peaceful to find.
Let God guide you
as a heavenly song
showing you blessings
as life continues on.

Well there ya go.  I hope you liked the
poem and maybe a lil of my rambling.
There’s not much else to tell you other
than what I tell you nearly every week
and that is,  I wrote some more poems
and haiku.  Yep,  10 more poems and
22 more haiku for all the haiku lovers
out there.  I hope you can find 1 or 2
of either or both that you like.  So now
I reckon it’s time for me to begin my
search for that hardly elusive off switch,
but not before I wish you a blessings
filled week.  Remember,  Jesus loves
you and we do too.  Now where can
that silly thing be trying to hide today?
Looking in all of its previous hiding
places LOL.  Yeppers, Mr Off Switch
has a bad habit of repetition.  Once
again I spy with my 1 good eye a little
movement from behind my lil statuette
that some of our previous neighbors
gave me that says I Think You’re Nice.
Yeppers,  I see ya you silly thing LOL.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Mind Passages

Life is like doorways
that swing in the wind
creating perceptions
from beginning to end.
Streaming as a river
flowing like a breeze
timeless mind passages
to the deep blue seas.
Scented of emotions
with aromas of time
as scenes come in view
of a memory’s mind.
Thriving as a painting
living on as a smile
breathed as a breath
of a wonderful style.
Seen now as blessings
moments transcend
timeless mind passages
blowing in the wind.

Eyes of Time

Looking to the past
we may only see
a time at its best
that life has set free.
Living on as dreams
in a shadow’s array
life shows glimmers
reflecting in a day.
For the eyes of time
hold a lot of views
scented as places
that seasons infuse.
There may be pages
as stories to read
written in the ages
as a timeless seed.
Search your heart
and let it to remind
of the smiles of life
in the eyes of time.

Smiling Hearts

Look for the times
that gave you a grin
and seek and search
to find them again.
Seek for blessings
memories enhance
the smiles of time
that sing and dance.
A moment may be
a timeless reflection
that’s shining bright
in life’s recollection.
Maybe a moment
remembered so well
a blessing from God
and story to tell.
Two hearts shining
as a heavenly glow
recalling pathways
of a timeless flow.
Love lives forever
and never departs
if it is true love
with smiling hearts.

Within the seasons
seconds find a way
to display a moment
of wintertime’s day.
Found as snowflakes
fall from the sky
seeking their journey
as they seem to fly.
Creating the artwork
of seasonal white
becoming a doorway
filled with true light.

in a season so cold
finds God’s artwork
in images to behold.

Time’s Lemonade

Poured as a pathway
a highway thru time
life becomes a drink
that’s driven of wine.
Scenes come to life
as patterns of clouds
displaying pictures
that timeless endows.
Forming a doorway
or window type view
minutes are created
from the old to anew.
Seeming as a drink
that moments inlaid
this is a living ride
on time’s lemonade.

Secrets of Spring

Found within daisies
life might transcend
as a time may unite
a bee as best friend.
Pleasurable findings
as morning’s delight
the secrets of spring
most surely ignite.
Unleashing scenery
with fields of grass
becoming doorways
for shadows to cast.
Love is as an echo
of heartbeats array
seen within daisies
of moments display.
Truly life’s blessings
with songs to sing
given from heaven
as secrets of spring.

Words of seasons
within a display
might show sights
of a distant day.
Mindful moments
words as a dream
found in a second
bestowing a scene.
Yarns of emotion
stories of a time
might display life
as a little rhyme.
Sung as blessings
of memoirs barns
life can be smiles
of mindful yarns.

Dreamer’s Flight

Across the sky
a sight might seem
as some wingspans
of a certain scene.
The sight so high
might seem to say
hello to spring
a wonderful way.
Displaying prayers
in a scenic sky
a flight in motion
as time flies by.
It might be illusion
or shadows detail
that carries motion
as birds set sail.
Look within life
and see the light
heavenly blessings
a dreamer’s flight.

Clouds of Phase

Above and beyond
what seconds expose
the phases of life
may shine as a rose.
Gleaming streaming
with seasons of time
glimmering brightly
for our eyes to find.
Clouds might drift
and float in the wind
becoming a moment
that’s our best friend.
Seeming like candy
of cotton dreams
clouds might portray
life’s magical scenes.
Becoming as artwork
of heaven sent days
a blue sky becomes
as clouds of phase.

Trees of Desire

We are as branches
formed within trees
seasoned from life
with every breeze.
Twigs of a turnstile
might create sights
seasons of scenery
that often ignites.
Various moments
that come and go
might have a lot of
things to bestow.
The faces of nature
from young to old
become as the trees
our hearts unfold.
Let life to blossom
and not catch afire.
Don’t burn the love
of trees of desire.

Haiku
for June 10,  2023

Yesterday’s thinking
might hold back the tomorrows
that we want better.

Years of emotions
can create your destinies
and disrupt your life.

Changing positions
may only change your pathway,
so change how you think.

Opening windows
to the thoughts within our minds
allows some lessons.

Shadows of ourselves
are often found in others
as they watch our stride.

The lessons of grass
are that sometimes life enters
in form of daisies.

Watching and waiting
only works when you’re learning
patience not anger.

The leaves of a life
will often change their colors
as the seasons pass.

Trading what you know
for something you know not of
can provide lessons.

An ocean of minds
becomes waves of emotion
often pounding the shore.

Times of apologies
might seem as a repetition,
but no one’s perfect.

Wisdom of a road
shows tire marks as a journey
that some skidded off.

Traveling mindsets
can create much confusion
as moments get lost.

Seconds and minutes
can become as a lifetime
ones procrastinate.

Reasons that we give
are often poor excuses
for being lazy.

Throughout our lifetime
we might see our reflections
within others eyes.

Themes for a journey
are sometimes with silliness
named after mistakes.

Many trials of life
can often become sadness
as we just give up.

Reading between lines
might form misleading actions
that were never meant.

In search of hopeful
a prayer is an opening
to a door of peace.

Trivial thinking
can make mountains from molehills
creating worry.

Today’s sentences
may have different meanings
that were once peaceful.
