ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

This week’s journal is gonna be one of
the shortest ones I have ever written 🙂
Judy is home from the hospital and she
is doing well.  As far as we know,  they
got all of the cancer from her lung.  I’m
doing my best to take care of her every
need. She’s sore and not getting around
too well, but she is getting around. I did
some shopping today as well as picked
up her prescriptions.  I want to thank
you all for the man prayers.  I’m happy
to have my honey back home.  Rocky
is happy to have his mom home as well.
I want to thank Judy’s 2 daughters for
taking her to the hospital and also for
bringing her home.  As you might be
aware,  I don’t drive long distances due
to my health and plus Rocky wouldn’t
do well for that long a drive.  LOL he
pooped in the car today when I took
him with me to go to Walmart,  but
of course I stopped a couple of times
to get out and take a few pictures at
the walking bridge and the cemetery.
LOL it was when I had gotten out of
the car to take a couple of pictures
at the cemetery that I began to smell
that infamous stinky and suffocating
aroma of poop and well,  it made me
thankful for the dog protection in the
back seat for just that reason LOL.
Anyways,  when we got home,  I did a
little clean up on it and then brought
the groceries in.  The I brought the
dog cover for the back seat in and I
put it in the washing machine and
then put it in the dryer and now it is
back the back seat where it belongs :).
Anyways,  I did a lot of stuff in the
house before Judy got home and I’m
exhausted.  I feel thankful that God
is always here with me giving me the
strength to do what I’m needing to do.
I pray that God is in your heart and
mind as you live your life each day.
Thank You God for never wavering
in Your true loving grace.  AMEN.
Now I believe it’s time for me to be
reading back over all that I’ve written
here to see if I can find a good word
of phrase that I can use for the title
of today’s brand new poem.   So it’s
away I go to that little place of my
recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I may
have stumbled upon a fairly decent
title just a few lines down from the
beginning of all of my rambling and
now after checking I see that it hasn’t
been used yet,  so used it shall be 🙂
Here goes…

Getting Around

Living for a breath
seeking for a time
we may find our path
as just a frame of mind.
I often might perceive
a passing time’s detail
as but a living ocean
within it’s daily swell.
We might seek a day
that’s just a memory
when getting around
was much easier to see.
Yet as time continues
it brings many changes
scented of deception
as how life rearranges,
It might form a scene
that envelops your eyes
forming the artwork
of the seasonal skies.
God gives us choices
to choose what we do
of how time affects us
in skies of gray or blue.
The seconds still move
with a smile or frown
as we choose pathways.
to be getting around.

Well there ya go.  I hope you liked the
poem and maybe even my short little
bit of rambling :).  I haven’t anything
else to tell you accept what I tell you
nearly every week and that is,  I wrote
some more poems and haiku.  Yeppers,
10 more poems and 22 more haiku for
all the haiku lovers out there.  I hope
you can find 1 or 2 of either or both
that you like.  Now I do believe it is
time for me to start my search for that
hardly elusive off switch,  but surely
not before I wish you a blessings filled
week.  Remember,  Jesus loves you
and we do too.  Okie dokie,  so where
can that ornery off switch be hiding
this time LOL.  Well hmm,  what in
the world were you thinking when you
chose to hide behind my keyboard??
I didn’t see you immediately being I
think you were still,  but it’s when you
began frolicking about that I noticed
you LOL.  You are a terrible hider 🙂
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Rocky
and spirits of Benny and Milo Pearce.

Memories Return

When thinking back
on times now gone
we might perceive
a momentous song.
It might be dreams
or just a phase
of distant moments
in your yesterdays.
You might even see
a moment in time
that evaded you,
your point of mind.
You may even find
a blessing displayed
as memories return
like a scenic parade.

Distant Trails

Many of the roads
that we travel on
might fade away
as a distant dawn.
For the beginnings
may surely bestow
lifetimes journeys
we used to know.
Distant moments
of love and light
might fade away
with lesser a sight.
Life is a journey
of many details
some as memories
of distant trails.

Page of a Book

Throughout time
we might discover
pages of pictures
the times uncover.
Words as minutes
seconds may find
living in a book
of a loving design.
It may be a barn
with scenic details
filled full of pages
that time exhales.
A moment of air
expelling a look
as an age of time
a page of a book.

Autumn Came

The season of leaves
has come and went
leaving reflections
of a seasonal scent.
With winds of time
that blew on thru
autumn left words
in leaves we view.
Yet within its voice
it still speaks aloud
of Halloween sights
that it is endowed.
It tells us a story
of winter’s arrival
that’s soon to come
as a scenic revival.
But it still breathes
of a seasonal flame
the leaves of color
when autumn came.

Windows of the Soul

Opening up hopeful
in a prayerful way
can create windows
to a brand new day.
Let not the seasons
to fade from heart
and form bitterness
for time to impart.
Look for goodness
in leaves of design
windows of the soul
in time after time.
There can be peace
as a heavenly goal
if you look deep in
windows of the soul.

Amidst The Trees

Traveling thoughts
so often are found
amidst the trees
looking all around.
Decisions of life
may bring us tolls
as costly pathways
from daily goals.
Our minds may be
but just a quest
seeking for a time
to find some rest.
Finding a roadway
to answers divine
as God The father
enters our mind.
Life might display
as oceans and seas
on islands of time
amidst the trees.

Waters of Mind

Often as reflections
our life’s waters flow
becoming pathways
as ripples to and fro.
Displaying moments
formatted as a book
of the waters of mind
there for us to look.
Allow for the sights
to become as prayer
as our minds focus
on a breath of air.
Breathed as a story
of a prayerful array
filled full of blessings
thriving as we pray.
God hears our words
as we lose control,
but He knows truly
the life in our soul.
We make mistakes
as life continues on,
but God is forgiving
as an unending song.
Our daily journeys
may ripple in time,
but we can make it
with waters of mind.

Stood Ashore

Two hearts stood
in a point and time
that’s now a photo
for future to find.
Minutes passed on
as a reflecting trail
while sands of time
had stories to tell.
Smiles in a journal
as an echo of waves
with true love seen
in passionate ways.
Heartbeats beating
thru a living door
thriving memories
still stood ashore.

Time Travels

Stages of moments
might surely unfold
displaying minutes
and seconds of old.
Becoming as tracks
as wondering minds
traveling shadows
to yesterday’s times.
Life comes in view
as a book of words
a traveling essence
as a flock of birds.
Look for moments
that God gave you
and then be happy
just traveling thru.
Seek God’s glory
when life unravels
and find His peace
within time travels.

We’re The Clouds

In many perceptions
we might be seen
as just but a cloud
in somebody’s dream.
Thriving as lifetimes
of scenic occasions
as clouds in a story
of many altercations.
Yet there are times
that we may be seen
as a rainbow of life
flowing as a stream.
Across many eyes
and into their heart
answering a prayer
as God’s work of art.
Time is a doorway
that Lord God endows
making us the angels
as we’re the clouds.

Haiku
for Oct 28,  2023

Staying in sadness
won’t make life any better,
so seek for the joy.

Sought after moments
can become as emptiness
if they’re only dreams.

Times variety
has a lot of equations
beginning with choice.

Dreaming of a time
that is no longer in play
can invoke sadness.

Treading on thin ice
you may hear a cracking sound
saying to get off.

Distant scenery
might be only life’s beauty
seen from faraway.

Beyond our eyesight
ones might be only lying
hiding who they are.

Thoughts that we’re thinking
might not be so good to have
so weigh the value.

Breathing in a lie
can corrupt all that you are,
so expel the breath.

Within a heartbeat
lives a chance to be better,
so use your chance well.

Leaving time undone
when it needs your attention
you might find regret.

In search of the truth
you may discover some lies
hidden in ones words.

Truth is a pathway
that we all need to follow,
but some run amuck.

Reading between lines
may so often fool your thoughts,
for there were no words.

When striving for time
you might find it fades away
when you get real close.

Some of our struggles
are only within our minds
with our corrupt views.

Often a breath of air
can become the death of us
if it’s poisonous.

Sharing memories
with someone that does not care
is wasting moments.

Holding onto thoughts
that you really should let go
can become sadness.

Tomorrow’s doorway
might have many great blessings,
so don’t fear the path.

Traveling thru life
without any direction
can end in horror.

The flavors of life
can often be bittersweet,
but keep on trying.
